YOU HAVE AN ARROW IN YOUR KNEE FACE. Was this suppose to be this easy? She felt like the mannequin was slowing, if that was possible. It was still further away than it was closer. The ghoul quickly let another arrow fly and like some of the last it managed to hit and keep the darn thing still. This was it. Complete lesson to show what they had all learned, and while the instructor stated she was neither impressed or disappointed, he hoped he was one of the few she considered worthwhile. It wasn't so much as impressing the horsemen now, but now under the tutelage of Cybele, he wanted HER approval too. In such a short time, she had given them the basic tools to start defending themselves, and he wanted nothing more than to excel.
Sent to their corners, Calder moved to mound of dirt. His territory so to speak, for the time being at least.
Not much of a digger, he started to push and pat dirt, before walking about and picking up what he could find, being mindful of time. Sticks here, a pile of pine-cones, and one very sharp vine that made him think of someone - even if the jerk didn't text.
Returning with the materials that were available, he dumped it around his wall, and stuffed pine-cones into the soil before sticking up sticks in hopes of tripping or hindering the doll as best he could. It was tough and fast, but it would have to stop to get over his wall to get to him. That meant it would stop here or move around. As a last touch, her circled the vines around the base. He would have put it on the rim, but he didn't to hurt himself when he stabbed out. It wasn't perfect, but it seemed sturdy enough, and it wasn't meant to keep it away forever, Just slow it down.
Done, he moved to pick up a set of daggers, and returned to his spot, getting inside his base and waiting for the show to start.

YOU HAVE MY DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE. Every second that the mannequin was alive was another minute she wasn't able to finish the job. Worse yet it seemed like the fake doll was getting more vicious. It's sword rose higher, swung faster, and no opening would appear. Her own eyes flickered wide, the image of a polearm lunging at her side, a horsemen yelling to yield.
The sword struck sinking deep into her side sending her spinning into the ground yelping in shock. YOU HAVE AN ARROW IN YOUR KNEE FACE. This arrow completely failed. Something went wrong somewhere and when she let this arrow fly, it didn't even make it to the mannequin. It dropped harmlessly to the ground halfway to it's target. Fail. YOU HAVE MY DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE. Her eyes flickered wild with FEAR as she started to panic, the Mannequin moved closer sword raised to strike and Sammy didn't hesitate. She leaped from the ground lashing out with the dagger followed by a fist, the cut opening thin and pathetic along the doll. It wouldn't kill it but it stalled it. She lashed out with her right fist thumping the head of the doll trying to disorient it.

YOU HAVE MY DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE. The doll righted itself quickly, the series of punches where not enough to stumble it completely and it was soon moving back towards Sammy. Sword in two hands. The image of a tall horsemen standing before her in the sand. The sound of others laughing at her. She bit her lip eyes flickering as she pressed the memory away. "Not here not now..." her voice stuttered.
The sword came quick and Sammy moved as well stepping in, her right hand reaching across to catch the sword as it bit deep into her flesh. The dagger shooting forward to lodge right into the area where the eye of a human like creature would have been. Just as quickly as the dolls came to life it died.
Crumpling to the ground the doll dropped it's sword and lay still in the dirt as Sammy shivered stumbling to the side. "I need... I need to lay down." She shivered slightly trying to push things out of her mind. She needed to get her mind off things all over again. SWEET VICTORY! YOU HAVE AN ARROW IN YOUR KNEE FACE. Holly was amazed, she was stunned. She had released one last arrow. The mannequin was so close to her but the last arrow stopped it for good. While other students were dying, or their mannequins got stopped by the fort... She didn't even need the fort at all. The ghoul managed to bring the mannequin down with out even really needing the extra protection. This was it, she was getting herself a bow, new favorite weapon ever. YOU HAVE MY SWORD/DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE. The doll was released, and showing no fear for injury, it barreled into his fort at top speed. Pine-cones crunched under it's heels, sticks jabbed into it's knees, and as it clawed into his fort, breaking the walls, the thorn-covered vines tangled into it's arms. As the thorns dug into it's arms, it broke it apart and climbed to get inside. If it did, then evading would be nearly impossible.
He lashed out, but the doll only grabbed his arm and tried to pull him down, Breaking free, he stepped back, his shoulder stinging. Hopefully it wasn't dislocated, but something told him things didn't look good. This wasn't going to help when swinging with his daggers. HP: 42/50 Damage Dealt: 14 by fort / 0 for Calder Opponent's HP: 16/30 Damage Blocked/Evaded: Failed Previous Posts: Building Phase

YOU HAVE MY SWORD/DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE. Being mindful, he watched the doll claw up, but each time wasted thinking about things through was another moment the mannequin was getting closer to tearing the wall enough to get in. The fort was his advantage and time was not part of it.
Reaching out, he slashed at the creature's face, not too careful considering it had nothing to make pretty or ugly with a few scars, and as it went to swipe at him, he jumped back, taking some dirt to throw it it. It didn't even mind the dirt as it reached out again, lashing out at him. HP: 42/50 Damage Dealt: 5 Opponent's HP: 11/30 Damage Blocked/Evaded: Evade Previous Posts: Building PhasePost 1

This was a good tactic, but not for long. He had to find opportunities, but if push came to shove, he'd have to take risks. Again he wanted for his chance, and a slight downturn of the mannequins head seemed to show it was working on breaking his fork, and he dived forward to stab at it's arms, just before it pulled back and stepped away a moment, out of reach. If it stayed there, nothing would happen, but the mannequin wasn't going to wait. It returned again. YOU HAVE MY SWORD/DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE. The fort and dirt crumbled and the mannequin was getting it's legs inside, finding it's footholds to heave itself into Calder's domain. As he tried to cut it away, it removed it's hand to grip his arm and throw him to the side, before resuming it's attempt to get inside.
