"Why?" Grant asked looking into Jewlet's eyes. "I have nothing now. My work was everything. Keeping my king and my castle safe was my job. I've devoted my life to it." Grant put his hand into his hair. "Being a protector is worthless if you have nothing to protect." Grant sighed. "Sorry to be ranting. I need to get my bow and go before the guards..." Grant had to pause for a moment. It his him that he was no longer a guard. He wasn't apart of what he made anymore and in fact he was now just the oposite. "..kick me out. Excuse me." With that Grant went to his office and collected his bow. the guards who usually guarded his door now where there to make sure he just got his bow and left which he did. Out in the courtyard again he stared at the castle with his bow in hand. He felt betrayed, rejected, he felt like he was nothing anymore.

Jewlet watched him in worry as she new the things he was feeling all to well. She turned her head away racking her mind for something to say. Nothing came to mind as she watched Grant in his saddening state. "Don't worry about about it." She said lightly. This was taring at her heart. She never wanted anyone to feel the way she always did. She had lost her will and only wished to keep others happy, but not herself. "Sir Grant." She followed him to the office. When she got no response she just stood there. She turned her head and watched Grant leave. She stood in the office until the guards ushered her out. She sighed lightly and went on to see if any of the royal family needed her services.

Zireno got out of his bath later on in the day got dressed in his silk shirt and finely hemmed pants before leaving his room. He kept the best looking maid by his side. At least it was the best looking in his mind. "Pick up the pace I want to get to breakfast before it gets cold." He wined at the maid.
"Would you like me to go ahead of you and let the cooks know your coming?" The maid asked keeping her eyes on the ground.
"Yes that's perfect now..." Zi smacked the maids bottom. "..get going. Their better be a warm plate waiting for me when i get their or it's your head." With that Zireno looked at his guards. "You don't need to stand so close, your like lost puppies. It's so... so... revolting." Zireno said in disgust as he shewed them back. Walking down the hallway he saw a woman there. "You. Come with me I think I will need a foot rub wile I enjoy breakfast. And where is that lovely little minstrel? That funny little hat with the bells always make me laugh. Slaves are always great entertainment. You girl fetch him for me, then you can tend to my feet."

Jewlet stopped as she could hear once of the princes. She looked up to see Zireno. Her eye twitched. "I am sorry prince. I am just a messeger." She told him and she put one hand behind her back. A fist formed as she hated this strong of a aragent personality. "I will fetch the minstrel, but I will not rub your feet." She said in a calm tone. "I do have a name prince. It's Jewlet Ivie." She stood in her spot still, silent and it seemed that she was not breathing. She gritted her teeth as she knew it was close to her emotional blow up, which happened every few years.

Zireno stopped in his tracks. "What did you say?" Zi said turning around and started walking over to Jewlet. "Did it sound like I was asking you witch? I don't care if your the head of the head of the bloody state! I'm Prince Zireno and if you don't do what I say when I say it from now on then I will have my guards here throw you in the dungeon without the chance of ever seeing the light of day again. Now get my bloody minstel and then you will not only rub my feet but my back and neck as well..." Zireno paused for a moment to think of anything other way to demean this woman in front of him for talking back. Zi hated when people said the couldn't do something. It was worse when they said they wouldn't because he knew that besides the king and queen and soon his brother Zireno was the absolute authority in the land. Suddenly he got an idea. "Aaaand you will do it in one of those maid outfits. Not the ones from the royal chambermaids but from the general castle maid outfits. Now away with you shrew." Zi said waving her off and walking towards the royal dining room.

Jewlet stared Zireno down. 'Control, Jewlet control.' She said over and over again in her head. She clinched her fist tighter making her nails dig into her skin. She put her head down as her face turned red from anger. 'Dungeon! Ha.' Her eye twitched. 'Maid clothing... No I won't go back to that.' She let him finish before she spoke again. "Like I said before Prince Zireno. I will only get the minstrel." She started to walked away to find the minstrel. "I am not scared of a dungeon, the darkness, or anything of that matter. Try your hardest, but you will not scare me." The air around her got heavy as she was keeping her power in cheek.

((why do my characters like to throw people in dungeons?))
"FINE!" Zerino looked to the guard on his left. "GUARD! Take her to the dungeon. NOW!" He said snapping his finger at the guard. "I don't need to scare you. I'm the bloody prince I'll let my nation do that for me if need be." He looked at the guard who had walked over to Jewlet. "And I want her chained to the wall." Zireno snickered. The guard looked at jewlet and mouthed the word Sorry before he grabbed Jewlet by the arm and said "Come with me."

Henna nodded once, and looked over at him. "Umm, I would really appreciate it if you could start today, But I understand if your not yet feeling up to it. I don't want you to hurt yourself." She smiled kindly and looked back down at her hands. She finished the collar and started to string on the small black beads.
"Do you know where the Library is?" She asked. She was in need of a book on dye recipes, she usually just made it up, but she had forgotten how much of the smaller ingredients’s go into making a nice Lavender color for silks. "I need a book on dye making. But I need it by tomorrow so If you...I'm sorry if I insult you but can you read?" He mind had stalled, many of the slaves could not read, but Alex was very clever so he probably could, if not he would have to learn.

Jewlet stood tall and strong. She looked at Zireno and cocked a smiled. She looked at the guard and nodded her head. It' is okay. She mouthed back. "Not need to have a hold of me or even lead me." She started. "I will gladly take myself to the dungeons." She released her fist showing the bleeding nail cuts. She took no mind to it and walked with the guard. [[I have no clue]]

The guard led Jewlet down to the dungeon and up her in the dungeon across from the other captives. "I hope that they will be of some entertainment for you." The guard said as he chained her to the wall. He felt sorry for her and thought that it mite help to have someone to talk to. As he left the cell he stopped and looked at jewlet in pity before leaving.
Throwing someone in jail put a smirk on Zireno's face. In his mined she deserved far worse but that was the worst he could do in his power. Feeling famished he quickly had his breakfast wile the maid who had run ahead to keep the meal warm rubbed his feet. "Has the seamstress come yet?" He asked his personal assistant who was at her usual spot next to him at the breakfast table.
"Yes Prince Zireno. she araived the day before yesterday." he said
"Good, good" Zi responded before getting up. "Lets go see her then."

Jewlet did not fight a bit as she was chained. 'You do not know... my power.' She thought looking at the bolts that kept her chained to the wall. Using her power she slowly pulled the bolts out one by one and did not dare to let the chains hit the floor. When a bolt came out she gently sat it on the ground. Once free from the wall she sat down and looked up. 'This is the best he can come up with?' She put her head against the wall.

"Yes Lady Henna; my father made sure I could read before I was taken. I can get the book just as soon as you give me the title or just asking me to gather books based on your specific needs I'll head straight to the library after a change of clothes; I can't perform errands in pajamas."
Alexander soon realized what he was wearing was his only set of clothes since he tossed away the Minstrel outfit and the rest of his peasant garbs were in his old quarters. Alexander didn't want Henna to dress him again like last night; he was fifty-seven after all.
"Where is those clothes you said you had for me? I can put them on and be off to the library immediately."
Even if those clothes weren't finished, he would pretty much wear anything if it wasn't too below his standards; Alexander's standards had changed a lot since he was five.
"Hey Grog! We got a neighbor."
Sylvan and Grog were in the cell next to Jewlet's, though Grog was still partly asleep when Sylvan was speaking to him.
"That's nice Sylvan..."
Grog yawned for a good two seconds before going back to sleep, sending Sylvan into a fit again. She ran over to Grog and started to shake him by the shoulders to wake him up.
"You good for nothing idiot! Break us out now! I know you can!"
There was no use to trying to wake Grog up; he only woke up on his own terms and no one else's. Sylvan was stuck alone again and didn't want to bother talking to the person in the cell next to theirs; Dirt Bloods were generally stupid.

"Just get what ever you can find on Dye making and recipes." She said and shrugged. She then got up from her seat and walked over to the shelf. On it was a good sized pile of clothes, she had gotten a few outfits in for him and he should be able to choose what he wants to wear. "Here you go Alex." She picked the pile up and a pair for boots too, then held them out for him, "You can get dressed in my room, and leave the clothes your not wearing in my wardrobe, ok?" She smile and tilted her head slightly. She really did not mind making clothes for him, mostly because he was so tinny and cute; this came together so fast she could make very fine things for him with the scraps and ends of the bolts.

"Thank you very much Henna for you know...Everything."
Alexander took the clothes into his hands and made off for Henna’s room to get dressed just like she had told him to. Alexander emerged out of her room. Alexander stood there wearing the same clothes Henna had promised him during the Ball; they were the best clothes he had worn in awhile. Alexander was sporting a smile for his new clothes, but didn't want to seem too childish about it. The boots were nice too since wearing sandals all the time was a usual thing for Alexander.
"I'm off to the Library then Lady Henna; I will be back as soon as possible with you books."
Alexander walked over to the door and waved good-bye to Henna as he opened it. He hoped the library would allow him access or he would have to return to Henna empty handed; not a good way to start off a new job.
