Jewlet stood up and began to walk around the castle grounds hoping someone would need her to do something, anything because it would be better then sitting and not doing a single thing. She placed her hands in front of her and clasped them together. She hummed lightly as she went up the steps to the first level. She bowed her head as she past a few people that were heading down. The halls were filled with chatter of last nights events. Jewlet listened closely to the talk when she passed by it. 'The same.' She thought.

Henna kept working her thin long fingers dancing over the fine fabrics. She glanced up momentarily at her small assistant and smiled. He seemed to have a bit of news to share with her.
"What happened?" She asked interested. Her eyes fell back down to the black fabric on her table. She listened carefully as she sewed, not wanting to miss anything. “Do tell, I’m always left out of the loop.” She was not very in tune with the gossip unless one of the court women were feeling talkative.

"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!" Echoed throughout the castle grounds as Grant opened the letter to his dismay. "A formal REPRIMAND!!!" Grant was yet again furious at the councils acts. "As captain of the guard you should have been prepared for this attack on the castle and should have been able to handle the situation quickly and discreetly. You are hereby put on temporary leave until the council has tried your case and, if necessary, punishment is carried out." Grant read out loud to himself. "This is preposterous! Who the hell do they think they are to do something like this!" Grant crumpled up the letter and launched it out of the window of his office before storming out. Unfortunately there was nothing he could do due to the fact that the counsel was in charge at the kings absence. With nothing really to do Grant was dumbfounded. Where am I to go? What am I to do? He thought making his way to the exit of the castle.

Alexander was glad Henna was in the mood for talking; Alexander was being reminded too much of his family and what riches is race were entitled to. All he wanted right now was to talk to Henna since she seemed to listen to him more than anyone and even -if he couldn’t remember properly- help he when he was in need.
"I didn't get much information from Grant, but he gave away more information without even saying a word through his actions."
Alexander was quite good and deciphering lies from truths and from what Grant told him and asked him gave away far more then maybe Grant could realize. Alexander knew that sometimes things were necessary to keep secret, but it was natural to what to learn about secrets.
"From what I understand something happened that was a distraction so two thieves could steal from the Royal Chambers and I think they were linked to the Tou; Grant asked me if Tou traveled so I assume the thieves were Tou. Of course from my knowledge, the Tou Council wouldn’t support two thieves to go out of the Tou Kingdom just to steal from another Kingdom, so there is more to the events last night then just a distraction. Last night while you slept all the fires in the castle went out and lit back after a set time; no two Tou can do that. There is obviously much more going on than just thievery in this castle that the higher ups want to keep secret from their servants."
Alexander remembered just a bit of who came out of that library when those doors opened; the Queen, one of her sons, and Grant. Alexander couldn’t remember anything else after those three, but last night’s event obviously was very important if only the royalty and Grant were allowed to know. Alexander didn’t like secrets and he desperately wanted to unveil this one; not to tell to everyone, just so it would stop itching in the back of his head.

Jewlet stopped and looked out a window as something caught her eye. She opened the window and saw Grant. She took a deep breath and said as loud as she could without screaming, "Sir Grant! Wait Please!" She waited a minute before she left the window and headed for ground level. Her steps were quick and light as she made her way out. She finally reached Grant. Then she looked at him worried. "What is wrong Sir Grant?" She asked with a falt voice.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK IS WRONG!" Grant showed before turning around. He didn't mean to burst out like that but he was frustrated because his hands were tied. "Sorry." Grant turned back around and started walking again. "I'm suspended as captain of the guard because of last night." Grant sighed as he reached the lower court yard. "I'm going to the range get my..." He remembered he couldn't order anyone around because of the suspension and punched the wall. "DAMB IT!" Grant had forgotten his bow in his office and now had to walk back into the castle with his tail between his legs... so to speak.

Niro could hardly slept that night. His head was full with questions and wonder. About the weird light, the tunnel he found, what was going on upstairs? All this was swimming in his head. When morning finally came, he practically jumped out of bed and got ready. Niro couldn't take it anymore, he had to find out what was going on. In mid dressing, a loud yell could be heard though out the castle. "Huh?.....That sounds like Grant...Grant! I totally forgot to report to him after the incident." He shrunk a little in his boots, "I hope that's not directed towards me?" He fling a backpack around his shoulder that he pack the night before. Inside there is a flint and steel, two grappling hook, a couple torch, and several other items. When he was ready, Niro ran outside into the stables to grab a coil of rope. He place the large loop over his shoulder. He peeked out to see if the other guards were out. They were walking inside the castle, most likely to have breakfast. "This is a good time then any." With that said, Niro ran over to the stairway. He walked over to the wall of the stairs that extended part of the upper courtyard. Looking around one more time, he gave the vines on the wall a good tug. The ground quickly open, letting him drop inside. Then swiftly closing behind him.[Poor Grant.^^ Hey guys, sorry for the disappearing. If there are any questions let me know. Also has anything happen while I was gone?]

Henna listened carefully as her assistant gave her the information she needed. “So, how was Grant last you saw him?” She asked Wondering if he was feeling all right, this kind of stress could be really taxing on a person mentally and physically. She kept pace on her work, the needle in her fingers always moving and twirling. She was embroidering a collar for one of the youngest prince’s mourning tunics.
“Do you think I should talk to him? He might tell me a bit more.” She glanced up and smirked. “Oh, and by the way. Are you feeling better? You looked really bad last night. I was worried.” Her long elegant fingers kept moving but her eyes were trained on the small man.

Jewlet took a step back and put her head down. She bit her lip. She knew what had happened because she was the one to deliver the letter, but she had forgotten about it. "Don't worry about, Sir Grant." She said in a calm voice. She looked back up and listoned. Nodding her head, she said. "That is not good at all." She placed her hands in front of her and clasped them together. She wished she would have had to guts to speak up when the council had called her. Her eyes looked down and then followed Grant. "I have been reassigned back to the royal family until your suspension is removed." She told him.

Grant had started walking back inside to get his bow with Jewlet. He was listening to her though he didn't look at her. He was stopped at the door and had to explain why he was going back inside. As they walked through the hall Jewlet told him about her reassignment. Grant stopped for a moment slowly his head and eyes lowered to look at the ground as his ears slowly flopped over and his tail dropped to the ground. "Well then... you should probably get to your new assignment." Grant said tonelessly.

"Grant seemed distant, like he was looking for someone or something, but I couldn't guess who or what. I'm sure he would like to talk to you though."
Alexander didn't actually know Grant well enough to know who or what he was so distracted with; it could have been the events of last night or maybe even Jewlet. Alexander did remember Grant spending time with Jewlet or it could have been the bagels he introduced to each other at the table full of food.
"I'm fine now; all just a horrible memory. Now I can get started as your assistant!"
Alexander was very excited to be starting a much more dignifying job then a Minstrel; no more entertaining people just so they could laugh while ordering a servant without saying please to get them a drink. Alexander was smiling as he watched Henna work; she was truly amazing with her work.
"Do you need me to do anything today?"
Alexander already had in mind a few of the jobs Henna would need him to do, but it was in Alexander’s hopes she would revise his contract today; this Slaver's seal needed to be removed if Alexander wanted to feel at ease. However, his duties as Henna's assistant would come first; she freed him from his former job and deserved loyalty.

Jewlet looked at the men as she passed them. When Grant stopped walking she went around and stood in front of him. Her face showed worry as she spoke. "I have yet to be called." She placed her hands at her side. "At the moment I have nothing to do." She looked up at him and smiled lightly. Inside, her head was going mad not knowing what to do. She put her head down feeling as if she failed. She hated the feeling as she made fist with her hands. She quickly put her hands behind her to hide them. "Cheer up." She said.
