"Tou don't trust..."
Alexander wanted to say Dirt Bloods, but the Slaver's Seal on his palm prevented him from doing so. As long as the seal was on his palm or until Henna told him it was oaky to say it, Dirt Blood would be out of Alexander’s vocabulary.
"Non-Tou to do important jobs. As I said, some Tou look for adventure and that takes form in mercenary work. All Tou are born noble, unlike this..."
Alexander stumbled again; he didn't want to sound disrespectful of his new home in the castle, but full blooded Tou had it a lot better than he did. Alexander was technically destined to be a slave from birth which wasn't exactly a happy future.
"Wonderful place full of culture where people are..."
In other words a castle full of different Dirt Bloods all serving some high and mighty royalty till the day they died. Alexander wouldn't mind learning about so many different people, but there were probably limits on how much he could earn without library access.
"I don't know where I'm really going with this; just trying not to be rude I guess."
Alexander chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of his head; not knowing much else to say and even forgetting what Grant was asking him about. When it came to Tou culture, it only made Alexander have mixed emotions because such thoughts brought up his old life and the wealth he would have had.

"O, well thank you, Alexander, for your time. As is stands it is getting late and i must find someone." Grant said with a tip of his head. "Good night." Grant didn't know what happened to Jewlet but it was to late in the night to start a large scale search so he was going to go home and see what he could do in the morning. Feeling beaten Grant slowly made his way towards the main gate of the castle. He didn't care that his tail was dragging behind himself or that his ears where annoyingly flopping against the side of his head. In all the to protect what was inmortant to the kingdom he didn't think to protect what was quickly becoming important to Grant.

Jewlet looked up and then went away from the table. She sighed. Surely he would be heading this way, unless he had already left. She walked out into the clearing in the lower court yard and looked up. It was getting quite late and she was tired. She looked down. 'Just a little long.' She didn't want to be rude by just leaving and not telling Grant 'Good-Bye'. She then bit her lower lip and her shoulders slumped. She bit the side of her pinky finger, which was a bit of a habit for her when she was stuck.

Reaching the main gate Grant looked up to the tower. "Don't forget to shut these things when everyone is gone." He yelled to his men Grant then looked back and surveyed the area. It seemed the last of the people leaving were on their way out. Grant took a deep breath and let out a sigh. Well so much for something good happening in my life. He thought before turning to leave.

Cyrith woke up late in the morning, hours after the sun had already risen and ready to take on the day, but first there was something else he needed to do. As the Prince left his room, still only half dressed, he was instantly joined by his royal guards but he paid them no mind as he headed down the hallway to a nearby room. Quietly, the young Prince opened the door and flung himself onto the bed before him, "Zireno!!!!! I thought you were going to take the Princess out today," he spoke energetically, an obnoxious smile plastered across his face.

Jewlet rubbed her eyes she hadn't slept at all because once she got back home she had to change into an everyday dress and go back to the castle. She sat quietly at the stone table half asleep. She yawned and moved her head a little bit. 'I shouldn't have waited so long.' She thought looking at the tree leaves. One landed on her arm making her look at it. Taking a breath, she blew it off her arm and onto the stone table. Then she opened and closed her fist wonder how she would wake herself up.

Henna hummed as she sat at he work table embroidering the kings burial robe, she was almost done and had been working all though the night. Her Breath stopped as she tied the last bit of silver thread to it's self and unthreaded the needle. "Done!" She exclaimed and folded the garment neatly before placing it in a box and then onto a shelf where it would be out of the way.
She then started on the mourning clothes for the princes. She had quite a selection of black and she used skillful pleats and seams as well as embroidery to create elegant stylish outfits that would keep her boys looking good while they mourned their father. Not that she hated the king, it was just the fact that the king was going to die very soon, and he had never done much for her so she did not have much of a heart for him.

Alexander was glad he could talk to Grant, but he had a feeling that Grant wasn't telling him something, maybe even a lot of things. It didn't matter anyway; all secrets would reveal themselves in time. Alexander yawned a bit and realized he was tired, so the library could wait for later. Tou often could go a long time without sleep, but only if they were properly attuned to their magic. Alexander wasn't so he would get as tired as any regular Dirt Blood child. Alexander started to walk to Henna's quarters to see if she was awake yet; it would be a great importance to tell her of the events at the castle last night.
Alexander came into Henna's quarters only to find her up working on clothes. What happened last night was probably more important than rest and it would give Alexander a chance to get to know his new employer or rather the person that held his contract. Alexander didn't hold a grudge against Henna for holding his contract, but rather thankful she was in possession of it rather than a dying king.
"Hi Henna! I see you're working again...Apparently something went on in the castle last night..."
Alexander did his best to pull up a chair close to Henna and take a seat. He hoped the scrapping of the chair and the floor didn't upset Henna's work too much; Alexander just wanted to sit for awhile.

By the time Grant made it home it was early morning. Grant tried to take a small nap and 5 hours later he awoke to his mother forcing him up.
"Your late dear." His mother said going into the kitchen."
"What?!" Grant replied jumping out of bed. "Damb it, I have an interrogation today. We had a theft last night but I caught them." Grant quickly got his cloths on and rushed out the door with a quick kiss on his mother's cheek. Grant stumbled up the path to the castle still trying to get his sword belt on. He had never been late in his life until today and he knew he was going to hear it. Once at the castle he made his way to his office and sat down to try and catch up on paperwork when he noticed a teller from the counsel on his desk. "What do they want now." Grant grumbled.

Zi woke up suddenly and unexpectedly by Cyrith jumping on his bed. Zi always hated this not so much the waking up but Zi had lavished tastes and when Cy comes around he always messes up things. "Get off Cyrith!" Zi shouted as he slowly moved pillows out of the way so he can get out of bed without making a mess. "Damb it man, Its going to take my maid all day to fix the mess you made." Zi threw a pillow at Cyrith "Now get out!" He shouted and pointed at the door.

"Awe come on Zireno, That's her job. Besides, I would let you in my room," the youngest Prince pleaded, his eyes wide and a remnant look of cuteness from before his powers had come in.
