►Any concern for the safety of their elder cousin was quickly negated as the garden became the spot for the massive serpentine pokemon. It's girth blocked off walkways and draw practically everyone's attention to it. Most were awestruck, for reasons the twins couldn't understand. Yeah, it was big but so was Steelix or Gyarados. What made this pokemon so special that people had to stop and stare at it? Maybe it was a different coloration, or larger, or even smaller than most of its kind? Without knowing the context of this pokemon being a legendary the siblings were at a loss to understand its appeal. Regardless Nis wasn't as focused on it as the two guys with Isis. Sin was absentmindedly watching Volt and Amp play.
"I don't want to concern you, but I think Isis might be in a love triangle, or maybe its a square?" Nis said. The twins couldn't hear anything that was being said from where they sat but from the looks, the two guys were fighting over Isis and the second girl was equally upset looking. "A square?" Sin could see the love-triangle but how did a love-square work? Nis pointed out the white-haired girl and Sin made a noise like he was coming to the realization. "So wait, Isis is Bi?" Nis elbowed her brother in the side hard. "Don't judge!" Sin grabbed at his rib cage looking offended. "Who said I was judging?" He defended shoving Nis
"Your tone!" Sin's expression to that was one of "Blah" as she shoved his sister again. "Your imagination maybe!" Nis scoffed and shoved him back. Looking back to the group with Isis it was nice to see things had calmed down at least. Still didn't give many contexts to the big lizard pokemons apparent fame or why the guys had been fighting in the first place. "I don't know." Sin began. "Maybe Isis got caught or maayybee their famous trainers and she's interviewing them?" Nis gave her brother slanted eye look. "Boys~""Whats that suppose to mean?" Sin demanded.

✿ ❀ Once Hinata got Delta under control and took her out of the time loop so that she wouldn't cause a commotion, she helped Isis by bringing Austin out of his frozen state, giggling childishly as the male fell face first into the grass. She heard his meloetta singing her praises though, attempting to make a sort of sonnet out of the events. Tilting her head curiously, the celebi fluttered over, taking the other legendary's hands in hers and bouncing around in circles, chanting a singsong tune in an ancient pokemon language, much like little kids would do while singing "ring around the rosie".
Meanwhile, Isis dealt with Leon and Austin, scolding them both. Leon quickly came to realize the error of his ways, apologizing for his assumptions and the mess he'd made. ”Yes, like my job, you dummy! What else would I be doing???" Not that Isis didn't know what Leon thought she was doing—she wasn't that naive—but it seemed a bit ridiculous to her, knowing herself. She just wasn't the type to sneak off with other men like that, and mildly offended that Leon would assume such a thing. She folded her arms across her chest and pouted as he explained himself, apologizing, but eventually she sighed and let it go. He was sincere, as always, clearly feeling really bad as he wiped her tears away and kissed her forehead. With gestures like that, how could she stay mad? ”Only if you apologize to Austin too." Isis insisted, trying to get the boys to make amends.
Thankfully Austin too, was quick to realize his error as meloetta joined in on the scolding and Hinata, playful and curious as ever, somewhat mimicked the meloetta from behind where Austin could see but not the legendary, holding her tiny hands on her hips and puffing her cheeks before breaking her act with a giggle. It was as if she didn't notice the atmosphere of the area at all and was more than happy to continue playing around instead of taking any of it seriously.
Nevertheless, Isis was glad that Austin was quick to make amends with Leon, or at least he seemed to do so, and he was so smooth about it that Isis didn't even notice that he never actually apologized. Then again, maybe that was just because she was just so eager for them to make up and move on that the slightest feeling of courtesy was enough to satisfy her. She grinned sheepishly though as Austin defended Leon, using his actions as a means of showing how much he really did care for Isis. ”I know...." She sighed, tugging nervously at a loose strand of hair as the two shook hands and hugged. She didn't even hear Austin's parting words, happy that the two just seemed to have turned things around before Austin excused himself.
Once delta was back in her ball, Hinata started the time stream back up again and quickly disappeared back into her own. People no longer were aware that Delta had released herself, and, noticing that the fight seemed to be over, slowly began to disperse with mild disappointment. Isis sighed with relief though—crisis averted.
Well, almost. The twins seemed to have found their way into the gardens and were now fighting amongst each other about what was going on, and Atona was attempting to separate them, looking exhausted already. "Please, children. There was just a misunderstanding. It's all taken care of now." He insisted. Thankfully the twins seemed to settle the matter themselves, as per usual. ”Nis! Sin! There you are. Sorry, I was looking for you. Leon, Zero, these are my twin cousins." Isis introduced. Thankfully they were all now in one place, so she could.... Settle, she supposed, no longer feeling pulled in all directions. ✿ ❀

Zero ran a hand through his hair once the message went through, turning his gaze to Nova. "Alright, you might wanna wrap that up," he called. "Seems Isis is free to meet up now."
The astral Gardevoir seemed almost disappointed as the words came to her over the crowd, almost tempted to pretend she didn't hear and continue posing for photos for just a bit longer. However, her better judgement overruled that thought, so she did as she was told and returned to her trainer's side, scanning her gaze through the crowd as she sensed the incoming blonde. "Alright, alright, let's see... Oh, there she is!" Nova gently directed Zero's gaze as she spotted the dressed-up photographer, and waving to her as she approached.
Just between the trainers, however, Isis found him first. By the time Zero turned to face her, she'd already started to move around him, complimenting his new attire. He didn't respond to her joke or answer her question, however--finding himself stunned as he got a good look at her. The new color in his cheeks turned a shade of red when the words finally caught in his throat, needing a minute to get out. "T-Thanks, you... look good too, Isis." For the first time in a while, he found his gaze turning aside for something much more natural, a heat in his chest causing him to adjust his jacket.
But before he could land on his feet and pick up the conversation, things suddenly started moving. He was snapped out of his daze by Kai grabbed Isis by the arm and started dragging her off back into the gardens, rushing to return to what he presumed to be Leon's side. His body moved on its own to follow--whether to see what was happening or simply to return to Isis, who could say.
What happened next was... confusing, to say the least. A dense crowd blocked the way towards the commotion, actively getting between him, Isis, and the source they were there for. Nova tried to mitigate it a bit by making the people want to move to the side, but many were simply glued to the floor and refused to move. He saw Delta towering over the party guests and could hear Isis shouting, the latter of which grabbed Zero's attention much more. So much happened at once that he couldn't keep up, and just before he simply gave up and tried to force his way through, the whole world stopped.
The voices, the crowd, even the flower petals that were floating on the wind hung in place. It took Zero a minute to realize what had happened, but with things slowing down like that, he could at least get caught up with what was happening. Encircled by the crowd Leon stood just moments away from leaving Isis to make out with the dirt, while Hinata bounced and floated about as she brought the mighty Rayquaza to heel. He let out a breath and finally started to catch up, his final delay only being moving some of the other partygoers aside so Nova could comfortably slip by.
He paid little mind to those people then falling over and knocking a long chain of others to the floor like dominoes when time resumed, finally making his way to rejoin the group when all was more or less settled. "And here I thought it was just me you'd be prone to throwing a punch at," he noted to Leon, giving him a somewhat more sympathetic look than his words implied. He didn't know the context that brought on the fight, but he doubted it wouldn't have been something the lifeguard didn't care about.
Once the crowd dispersed though, things seemed to settle down into something a bit more managable, Isis bringing them over to her cousins so they could all be introduced. "It's nice to meet you two," he began, giving the twins a small bow. "Isis' told me a lot about you two, so it's nice to finally meet the pair she's so proud of."

►The sibling squabbling cesed almost as soon as Isis had turned to head towards them. It was almost instinctual their reaction time. Perhaps even precognitive, or simply being aware of social cues, body language, and their surroundings. At least enough so to not be acting a fool where people of any importance might see them with her. Neither wanted to give Isis a negative rap with any of the big wigs here. This was probably more business than pleasure for her after all. None the less both jumped to their feet and rushed to give Isis a brief huge. "It's Ok. We understand~" Sin begin. "You've got a job to do after all." But Nis finished seamlessly.
Volt and Amp had finished their game of chase and now sat atop their respective trainer's shoulders waving to the trainer who had originally caught them. Nis and Sin, however, were eyeing the two males accompanying their big cousin. One was new, or at least hadn't caught their eyes as being with Isis during the big fight. The other was one of the combatants. Leon. Who they knew only from here say passed among the family. To their understanding, Isis was dating Leon. Or at least that was the rumor passed around before they'ed started their journey.
To the Twins surprise, Isis had apparently spoken rather highly of them. Though neither felt very accomplished as trainers or as Rangers. No badges earned and only one mission accomplished. It didn't boost well for bragging rights. "Well we've not done much~" Nis began this time. "Ranger school kept us busy for a while there." Nis shook her head in agreement pulling back her sleeve to show off the Capture device. They were almost certain Isis hadn't gotten word on that little development yet. "We got recruited after a renascence fair in the Unova region~" Volt and Amp proudly shook their heads in agreement to the story thus far. "Some goons tried crashing the party~""We couldn't do much but a ranger saw us in action~'"and recommended us to the principle~"

What she'd seen, was unseen, for a moment Temperance stood rather dumbfounded as time within the vicinity of the fighting ring resumed at it's normal pace. She still held a scowl on her face, as she'd recalled there being a fight and the sight before her reminded her quickly of that fact, but now she felt as if something that had been resting on the back of her mind was gone. Time was a fickle thing to be messing with, but to those not in the loop, they were none the wiser.
Temperance's gaze fell upon Austin as he approached her, giving her an apology. "I'm more surprised than anything." She muttered. After a moment to collect her thoughts and a deep breath, she erased the scowl and drew a smile in it's place. "From what I saw... and remember, you at least held your own. That sort of agility will be very useful in your profession." Temperance added. Glancing beyond Austin she noticed Isis walking over towards a pair of twins, and, well that was odd. "Austin, do you have a twin?" She asked, looking back at him, then again to the male with the albino hair. They appeared nearly identical.

Austin was prepared for another lecture, though in the back of his head, he was sure that if he got scolded one more time, he was going to lose his cool. However, Tamara never did. It seemed that he would be in the clear, once again. It was moments like this that he had even come up with 'Austin' in the first place; it was hard to get mad at someone so...not Dallas. She even seemed to be somewhat impressed with his fighting ability, ever so slightly. "That's kind of you to say, Ms. Stonewall," he replied, feigning slight embarrassment. "It'd be nice to say that I haven't had to defend myself, but even a humble coordinator has to deal with the riff-raff from time to time. 'You will never be entirely comfortable. This is the truth behind the champion - he is always fighting something. To do otherwise is to settle.' Or, so I've read." Austin offered a smile to match Tamara's.
When Tamara inquired about Austin's supposed doppelganger, Dallas turned around to see a gentleman with Leon and Isis, who indeed looked a good amount like himself. Susan was awestruck (There is two Dalphas? Wow!), but Meloetta quickly informed her telepathic friend that it was just a very similarly dressed man. Austin couldn't help but be perplexed, though. What the hell? That's almost eerie. Well, sorta. I mean, seriously, adjust that bowtie, you're wearing all wrong! He almost wanted to hit up the guy and see if he where he got the tux, but decided he'd had enough social interaction for one night. He wanted to take off with as much food as possible, and find somebody to fight when he was back in his streets to release some of the aggression he still had towards Leon.
And it seemed like his team agreed as well. Beltigre let out a low meow as she nudged her trainer's leg, and a quick translation from Susan confirmed it. Dalpha, We is hungry! We eat now? Thankful for the out, Austin gave Beltigre a gentle pat on the head. "Yes, yes, I do believe it's time. Let's all return for now, and we'll fill all of our stomachs soon." With a cacophony of cheers for food in roars and meows and barks, all of his Poke'mon returned, even Susan and Meloetta. But, before he departed, he made sure to give his goodbyes to Tamara.
"It seems my party has spoken," he said with a laugh. "It's time for me to take my leave, Ms. Stonewall. I do hope that, other than the unfortunate combat, I've provided a nice momentary companion." With a quick hand and (surprisingly, for a thug) neat handwriting, Austin quickly jotted down his name and number, and presented the note to Ms. Stonewall. "If you find time in your adventure and wish to see myself and my team perform, I hope you'll give me a ring."

Temperance nodded to Austin's reply. It was a harsh reminder that even if she was to rid Amarantha with the threat of her Uncle, there was no guarantee to absolute peace. There was always someone waiting in the background for people to grow lazy and humble. "Sound advice." Temperance replied.
Austin quickly dismissed the man nearby that could be his twin. Perhaps it was just not something she should ask about... a 'none of her business' sort of deal. She was getting more and more used to dropping subjects like this. A good thing to be sure. But then, the conversation erupted with talk of hunger. She was reminded of her own needs for food. Fancy food that was likely being served here would be a nice idea for the homesick Temperance. But it seemed, Austin had other plans. "You're leaving?" She inquired, accepting the note with his name and number. "But they serve food here." She continued, motioning back towards the Palace. "This place has far more than just music and dance. Or, I would think so. I saw some waiters passing around hors d'oeuvres, but surely there is a banquet as well." If Austin honestly planned on leaving, she wouldn't stop him. As much as she wanted to continue talking to him, she had to remind herself that she couldn't afford to stay at one persons side for the entire night. Regardless, she was going to slip through the palace and find her companions to check on them, before heading to the banquet hall herself for some food.

► Catching Gekkit wasn't as hard as Ohmarow had assumed. The maze's narrow paths kept her funneled and with so many dead ends she really didn't have anywhere to go. Finding his way back out of the maze, however, wasn't so easy. He'd been in such as rush to nab the Gekkit he'd not made a mental note of the path he'd taken and was now depended on Yartol to guide him out from above. Gekkit at least was sealed safely back inside her ball for the time being. "Maybe you should site down?" Rahvok remarked to Ohmarow whos limp had become more pronounced. Ohmarow scowled and waved the Zorua comment off. "Don't mind him. He's just grumpy because he's hungry." Qungra teased floating not far from her trainers head. "I'm not hungry Qungra. I'm tired and I want out of this maze, alright?""Maybe you should sleep at night then?" Rahvok added quickly. Ohmarow smiled rolling his eyes. "It's nice to see you opening up at last Rahvok." Leon wasn't sure what he had thought she had been doing, besides her job. It was a lapse of stupidity and jealousy on his part, though he had no reason for it. He was more than willing to apologize for his mistake, having already moved to do so before Isis even asked him to. The lifeguard didn't really appreciate Austin's way of asking Isis to forgive her boyfriend. And even when he approached the blond to apologize, he never got anything close to an apology in return. Just a platonic hug and mildly passive aggressive advice. "Damn punk..." he thought, letting it slide as Austin made his exit.
Before time resumed, Delta was returned to her ball. Some confused people were pushed aside as Kai made his way through to rejoin his trainer, nudging his head into his side with a grunt. Leon gave the gator a pat as the crowd around the area started to disperse now that the fight was over.
Daiki was confused about what had happened, like he had totally missed something. The fight was over already, it seemed, and people were returning to him for their winnings. "Looks like it was a draw, folks!" the disguised zoroark exclaimed, doling out any winnings. Well, at least, he seemed to be giving people money. It was actually illusioned leaves that some where shoving into their wallets. Of course, there were some people that demanded their bets back, unhappy with the outcome. To which Daiki happily kept the actual cash to himself, returning to them more illusioned leaves instead. Once the crowd had fully dispersed, Daiki counted out his pool of cash. "That's how you hustle money, Katsu... Katsu?" Daiki commented, looking up when he realized that the illusioned solgaleo was no longer by his side. He should probably find him and get back to Ducky soon. Well, at least before the people can realize that they've been duped.
Once the crowd had parted, Zero joined them, the white haired male making a comment about having thought that he would have been the one that Leon was prone to throw a punch at. Leon reached out and pat Zero on the shoulder. "You aren't out of those woods yet." he told him, his tone hinting that he was most likely kidding. Most likely. Not that he was eager to punch the weak-hearted guy, but he still had some qualms over knowing Zero and Isis still shared some kind of feelings for each other. Isis then spotted Atona and apparently her twin cousins, who she introduced. Leon gave a small smile and wave, trying to remember if Isis had mentioned them before. He could have sworn she might have mentioned them in a text once, but he couldn't remember quite at the moment. Zero seemed to remember hearing about them more, so he stayed in the background of the conversation. Kai snuffed in the direction of the twins, ultimately sidling up beside Atona, tail swaying behind him. "Graaah~" he greeted joyfully, crimson eyes smiling.
Katsu was curious about this blond girl that had come in to stop the fight. He had observed her and the celebi the entire time that time had been frozen, pacing here and there. It was certainly an interesting turn of events. The more he looked at the young lady, the more he noticed about her. Such as some pale, rigid scars on her back, exposed by the dress that she wore. And that she had been made rather upset by the fight, particularly at the raven haired male she called Leon. After some discussion, time had resumed normally and the crowd dispersed, Katsu slowly wandering off to observe the blond female identified as Isis. He should pick her up, right? That's what Daiki had said to do - pick up ladies. Perhaps it could cheer her up? Even though she had seemed busy at the moment, Katsu came up behind Isis. "Pardon me, miss." he said as he suddenly scooped her up into his arms. "Is this how one should pick up a lady?" he asked, a charming smile upon his illusioned face.
Leon couldn't even believe this was happening, staring as some blonde, princely guy just came in and swept Isis off of her feet and into his arms. With him right there!!! "What in the actual ********... Put her dow- OW." he growled, stepping in and throwing a right handed punch right at the fancy blond boy's face. Only to be met with pain as there was a metallic 'thunk' from his punch. Katsu didn't even flinch, still holding Isis in his arms. "Oh... apologies, sir. Was I so wrong?" Katsu said rather calmly, as if he hadn't just been punched in the face. The illusion flickered a bit from the hit, revealing that he was just a Solgaleo, sitting there with Isis cradled against his chest in one of his paws. The Illusion retook as Leon retracted his hand, shaking off the pain and swearing under his breath. After a moment, Katsu set down Isis, but still stood nearby, raising an eyebrow at Leon.

✿ ❀ Isis grinned sheepishly as Zero complimented her dress. ”Y-you think so...? Hee~ Thanks. Unfortunately I can't take much credit, the abra that teleported me here dressed me, so...." She admitted, playing with the stray curl that hung down by her ear. His expression was both heartwarming and painful, and while Isis wanted to say something, anything to continue keeping things light and friendly between them, she could only open her mouth and hesitate. Thankfully, Kai came to break them out of their impasse, though it was only to pull them out of the frying pan and into the fire that was Leon's fight.
Thankfully, Isis seemed to come just in time, or rather, Hinata was able to stop it. Though it was unclear as to whether the time sprite was doing it to help Leon or not, it behooved them to take advantage of it and break up the fight quickly before Hinata started time back up again. Leon and Austin seemed to have resolved their issues.... For now at least. Zero attempted to inject some humor into the situation by suggesting that he thought Leon would be more likely to punch him over anyone else. Isis tried not to chuckle, especially since Leon suggested that Zero wasn't quite out of hot water yet. Even though Leon was probably quite serious about his warning, things did seem.... Less tense between them, or at least less so than before. That was.... Relieving. ”Wow! Did you two have some male bonding time in the cave after I left or something?" Isis asked, pleased and impressed with their progress regardless how small.
When the twins arrived with Atona, they completed Isis' little party and she hastened to introduce them to Zero and Leon after greeting them and apologizing for running all over the place. Thankfully they were in an understanding mood. ”Wow! You two have really grown. A year ago you would have demanded I play with you all night in compensation." She chuckled. Not that she would have blamed them. The twins were always very demanding as children, wanting all of their favorite cousin's attention. Not that Isis was blameless, given how much she spoiled them and showered them with attention before like any good older cousin.
Zero and Leon each greeted the twins in turn, and they seemed both surprised and proud to hear Isis had spoken so highly of them, Nis modestly insisting they hadn't done much but they both still proudly explained how they'd been recruited. ”Wow, really? We were at that fair too, but I don't remember anything like that. I didn't even know you were there! You must have been so brave! Still, please be careful in the future, okay? I don't want you two getting hurt." Isis insisted.
Before she could ask them much more about the ranger school, Isis blinked as she was suddenly scooped up into the arms of some dashing gentleman. ”Eh???" Isis squeaked, face pink and flustered as he excused himself for the interruption, asking if this was the proper way to pick up a lady. ”Ehhhhhh???" Her face quickly turned into a deeper shade of red. Why was this guy trying to pick her up? Well, he'd already succeeded, literally anyways. Leon was not happy, and Isis couldn't really blame him. He'd only just finished fighting off Austin in jealousy and that had been a misunderstanding, where as now this prince had openly admitted to trying to pick her up. Isis didn't know why he'd taken the phrase literally, but Leon wasn't having it, immediately punching the guy's face.

Even Isis felt the vibrations from when Leon's fist connected with pure metal. What the hell was this guy made of??? The man's visage flickered, briefly revealing that he wasn't a man at all, but rather a solgaleo. ”EHHHHH???" Isis was so confused. She'd been spouting the same squeaking sound ever since this started, but at least the solgaleo apologized and set her down again as his human illusion resurfaced. Isis shook her head, trying not to attempt making sense of all this. Honestly, it was just easier that way. ”Er..... Mr. Lion..... I'm not sure who told you to pick up girls, but I don't think they meant it like that. Regardless, I'm already spoken for...." Isis insisted, moving to check on Leon as he cursed under his breath and cradled his hands. ”I know it hurts, but can you please try not to swear next to my cousins and let me take a look?" Isis insisted, gingerly taking his injured hand to inspect. ”Augh jeez....! It's already swelling.... Come on, let's get you some ice. I'm sure they'll have some in the banquet hall. Well, so long as they stayed cordial Zero wouldn't worry himself with the lifeguard being primed for a second round. He chuckled at Leon's words and settled into a properly relaxed posture. Hopefully now, at least, they wouldn't have to worry about things getting excited again, following along as Isis guided them over to her two cousins. Perhaps predictably, she hovered over the injury and immediately took charge of getting it treated, dragging the other man off before anyone had a chance to argue.
