Description: Hantan left his mother as an adolescent to see more of the world and to claim a territory of his own. He is currently wandering the roguelands and doesn't seem to want to settle anywhere in particular. He is curious and eager to learn new things so he doesn't mind talking to others, even if he keeps to himself most of the time. He's quite the tracker, and has a knack for keeping track of a certain lioness.

He dislikes crowds, but periodically he returns to Kitwana'antara to see Saskiranel and his kids. He likes bringing back tales for them to enjoy.

Name: Vaina
Meaning: defect, imperfection, flaw, fault
Personality: Vaina is very much a "glass half empty" kind of leopard. She generally expects the worst, and has some past experiences to back up that attitude. If you've got a silver lining, rest assured she can find a big dark cloud for you. She secretly likes her fleas. They're a constant companion, you could say. And she knows exactly why they like her.

She was captured as a thrall and took her flea friends to the Stormborn.

Name: Tranbaer

Personality: Tranbaer is curious about the world around her. When she was young this made her ask a thousand and one questions, but as an adult she's channeling her curiosity into her profession instead. She's patient, and loves sharing what she knows.

She's a messy girl, and it is rare to find her with a pristinely groomed coat. The light fur on her forelegs is utterly unforgiving, and some of her messes taste foul or act as dyeing agents. She'd rather keep working than grooming constantly.

Oh, and you'll never, ever find her up a tree. This leopard sleeps on the ground.

History: You wouldn't know it, but Tranbaer has a crippling fear of heights. She fell from a tree when she was just a young kitling and was hurt quite badly. The healers of the pride patched her up, but she doesn't climb trees anymore. Her old injuries bother her at times, but she's learnt how to treat them. Her special interest is pain management since that's what she can try on herself, but she is perfectly capable of mixing up the most common cures and ointments too.

Name: Salma
Meaning: peaceful, righteous, honest
Personality: Salma might seem a bit grumpy and antisocial, but she's very sensitive to the emotions and needs of others. Her less then welcoming demeanor is just the way she protects herself from being overwhelmed by the world. She's showed no interest in the opposite sex so far, and the celibacy of a priestess suits her well.

History: If asked, Salma will tell of a simple upbringing. Her mother was a rogue who held a small territory and raised her cubs alone. Salma never met her older siblings, and she was the sole survivor in her own litter. For all she knows her mother might still be out there somewhere, doing her thing.

Her mother told her stories that shared many elements with the Shan Furen mythos, even if the leopard goddess in those stories never had a name. When she met a member of the Mlima Tuokoa it all clicked into place and she knew she had to join the pride.

Why are you so devoted to Shan Furen?: Salma wasn't always a believer, but back then she didn't know better. You could say she's making up for lost time, and she's more strict in her devotion than some of the priests and priestesses who have grown up surrounded by their religion. She's not going to miss out on her chance to hunt with Shan Furen in the Endles Forest after this life!

Salma would love to get a vision from Shan Furen. She even goes as far as to try to provoke visions by staring into polished ice for extended periods of time or experiment with herbs. This is not something she willingly shares since there hasn't been much result yet.
