try 1 - IMMORTAL RUNOh, what a cute little...jackalope? She didn't know of any jackalopes that had ghostly antlers, though...Well, it was more than easy to hit spare on this creature; it was much too cute to fight! And with that, it seemed she had finally finished this strangely buggy game. ToT Desu-Chan sn: Mediciner Prize: Stage 3 Immortal Run finish! I took up most of page 3 but the run starts here!

TRY 1 - IMMORTAL RUNLock was interested in this booth, only because of the sheer number of people gathered around it and the determination they all displayed to beat it. While he wouldn't normally consider himself a video game player, he would at least give this one a shot.
Maybe the game sensed his naivete because immediately upon starting it up, the game shut itself off. Lock raised his hand to call the boothrunner over, but the game restarted and so Lock had to mutter an embarrassed, "Er ... nevermind. It seems to be working now."
Well this was certainly an odd game.

TRY 1 - IMMORTAL RUN - Stage 1 The first stage wasn't particularly hard. A ghost approached him and asked him to listen to some songs. Lock's first instinct was to defeat the creature because this was, in fact, a video game and in most video games the objective was to fight and defeat.
The game didn't seem to be giving him the option though. He asked the professor if this was what was supposed to happen (IE, having to listen to a bunch of shitty songs) and garnered no response from him. Either way, he passed.

TRY 1 - IMMORTAL RUN - Stage 2 Then the option to fight was presented and Lock took it. The screen went black and he thought maybe there was a reason he didn't play many video games.

TRY 2 - PONY RUNThe game did the same silly little restart, but this time things had taken on a particularly more sinister tone. Lock wondered if his choice to FITE had resulted in the choices to FITE.
Either way, he liked this better. You were supposed to kill things in games. That made sense to his old man brain.

TRY 2 - PONY RUN - Stage 1 He was glad this time around he didn't have to listen to the annoying music. It looked a little sad as it died, but Lock didn't have much remorse for the creature at the moment.

TRY 2 - PONY RUN - Stage 2 The next fight proved somewhat more difficult. There was no indication as to how he was supposed to fight (rather, whenever he selected FITE the creature just ... barked at him) and it left him just jiggling the joystick and confusedly trying every button (except the SPARE button of course).
Eventually the dog just sort of ... flopped over from barking too much. Lock was somewhat unsatisfied with this result, both because the animation was uncomfortably realistic and because he didn't feel as though he'd actually done anything. Yet the game moved on.

TRY 2 - PONY RUN - Stage 3 Getting through the jackelope proved easier than the dog ... princess ... whatever it was. It was an old fashioned battle and if there was one thing Lock knew how to do it was battle.
Though the creature brought down his health greatly, he still managed to vanquish it. So take that, ghost rabbit.
Lock left the booth feeling completely unfazed by the experience and rather justified in his choices.Quote: sn: chimarii Prize: Stage 3 Immortal Run finish! gimme dat treat Run starts here
