This year seemed particularly interesting given that there was a small crowd gathered by a booth that was set up to look like a cave of sorts. Some students were busy talking about bugs while others were talking about the Immortal Run and the Pony Run. You weren't sure what that could even mean but as you got close enough to the booth itself you notice it has the same arcade game set up on each system.

Nearby, Rengath is standing against a broken version of one of the games, eating his usual favorite human flavored kettle chips. He's dressed as a wizard? A goat? You're not sure. Everything about this game looks weird to you. It looks pretty glitchy too... But before you walk off the professor just says 'Beat it and you'll get a prize.' That is dubious at best but it makes sense with all the other booths.

Of course. Pay to play. Oh well, it's got a story so, that's fun. As you put in the seeds required the text flickers quickly to a new screen.

How to play:

MAX 3 tries per day- roll over at 12am PST. If you win one game ion that day that's it though.
Your student must pass 3 rounds to beat the game and win FABULOUS PRIZES! Simple enough.
You roll 1d6
1- FITE
2- ITEM
3- TALK?
4- SPARE
5- RESET
6- ???
IF YOU RESET: The game forces you to quit and sets you on the PONY run, in where you MUST FITE EACH ENEMY. However, this run changes the dice used to the one below:
1d4.
1- FITE
2- FITE
3- TALK?
4- FITE

In the PONY run, Failing to FITE results in a auto-death, and you must start ALL the way over. The Options for normal route are OVERWRITTEN by this route.

If you beat the game on the PONY Run, the prizes will differ.
IF YOU ???: The game forces you to quit and sets you on the IMMORTAL run, in where you MUST SPARE EACH ENEMY. However, this run changes the dice used to the one below:
1d4.
1- FITE
2- SPARE
3- SPARE
4- SPARE

In the IMMORTAL run, Failing to SPARE results in a auto-death, and you must start ALL the way over. The Options for normal route are OVERWRITTEN by this route.

If you beat the game on the IMMORTAL Run, the prizes will differ.
ITEM and TALK? Will have unique options for each encounter and will require different dice to be rolled in order to progress.
If you wish to end your game after passing a stage- in order to obtain that reward you must state in your next post WITHOUT rolling.
AKA- you pass round one and want to quit- you must post again with your character quitting and NOT rolling claiming the previously past stage's reward.
Passing stage 1 will win you a stage 1 reward if you 'save and quit'
Passing stage 2 will win you a stage 2 reward if you 'save and quit'. You cannot redeem for a lower reward.
Passing stage 3 will win you your choice of any of the prize tiers!
You do not get to pick which prize you get at stage 3 due to highly limited numbers of certain pets and items- You get to pick prize TIER not EXACT PRIZE. I will ignore 'give me X prize' requests at this level unless requesting a lower level prize.
PLEASE label what stage you are on and if you are locked into a ceratin run or not.
PLEASE LINK YOUR WIN CLAIM POSTS TO LAST PAST STAGE ROLL IF THEY ARE NOT ON THE SAME PAGE. Also remember to post your minis SN!

You fite the iTem and they die looking very sad you didn't listen to their mix tape... (continue on)

ITEM:

'DAT MEEE' The ghost? (You think it's a ghost anyway) says. The item menu pops up with 'Pockey' Its a 'key shaped biscuit dipped in chocolate'. Selecting it, it's eaten by the iTem and while distracted you manage to move on. What kind of game is this??? (continue on)

TALK?

They end up telling you how they want to go to college and go on about munies and starfruits and is this all a dream from 365 days ago??? You can't deal with the walls of text and hit the machine, causing it to glitch. GAME OVER

SPARE

All they asked was for you to listen to their mix tape. 8 anime songs later and they let you pass.(continue on)

An Princess Blocks your path! You are filled with WILLPOWER...

FITE

You fite the Princess and they end up barking so much at you that they wear themselves out... (continue on)

ITEM:

You select 'ball' from your bag but after doing so the game glicthes out, and all you can do is play fetch with Princess... forever. (GAME OVER)

TALK?

As you select talk, Princess laments that no one has told her she is a good dog. You chose the option under talk to pet her, at which point she gets excited and allows you to pass! (continue on)

SPARE

Princess refuses to be ignored. You cannot leave her here alone. No... You must stay an appease her. (1 Chance to re-roll, if your roll this option again, the game crashes and you have reached a GAME OVER)

FITE

The GOSTLOPE is just very sad as they have to fite you. As you button mash, to nearly die, but somehow, manage to land enough hits. The GOSTLOPE fades away...(continue on)

ITEM:

Mid menu you notice the antlers appearing... but it only does that when- Apparently, it can hack the game, and it kills you in the item menu. Wow way to cheat you jerk. (GAME OVER)

TALK?

It tells you how by killing the weak MUNSTARS you have taken their willpower, and will be able to defeat the HUMUNS. But at what cost? How many have fallen to your weapons? How many have you spared. Their souls will fuel you now, for better or worse...(continue on)

SPARE

The GOSTLOPE nods and tells you how this is the way it must be. It'd antler glow and the game credits begin to roll...(continue on)

You notice that after a while, you are filled indeed, with the WILLPOWER to win. If after you have not beaten the game after 5 attempts spanning 3 days you can approach Rengath and demand you monies back. Or, show him just how hard the game is. Very likely you'll walk away with something. Afte rall, it's the spirit of Giving isn't it?
