Uru crawled, he crawled because he was far too tired to walk. He crawled because he was youngagain. He was remembering those memories he had long forgotten - not because they were too painful - they were, but because that was a part of his life that died when his father disappeared from his life. He was in a mix of tired, confused, angered, and emotionally upset. He did not want to walk. He didn't even want to crawl to the next pool, but he pushed himself to do so anyway. He figured if he was able to finish this Corridor of Ancients, then he could leave this all behind him. Flopping down beside a pool, he reached a hand over the edge into the waters, taking in the puddle to his lips. He blinked a few times noting that nothing had changed; he was still thirteen and he was still... he was still sleepy. Perhaps... perhaps this pool did nothing. Perhaps it was killing him slowly inside. Perhaps, just maybe, it could bring back the dead and he wasn't dead. Or it made people dead. Wait, didn't he already think about that. ... Whatever. He'll just pretend that he doesn't hear the clicking of heels on stone behind him or the giggling of a young girl nearby. Sitting upright, he found that his body had grown again and the jacket tight around his neck. Freeing the sleeves, the demon hellhound grumbled as he slipped it on. Enough was enough. Turning about, he stalked out of the Corridor to leave; four pools, four effects he did not want to go through again. [[Exit]] Pools: [ Age] [ Sleep] [ Youth] [ Insanity]

He walked about the pools for maybe a little longer than he intended to, he was more of a man of action really and it just seemed weird to linger. So, finally Milo got to what he was supposed to do.
Pushing his goggles to rest at his hairline, the Sun knelt down at the nearest pool. One of blue with waters that reminded him of home, so clean and clear looking. He ran his hand through the pool for a moment, allowing him to feel the cool sensation before he cupped it and drank.
The effect took over in an instant and Milo drank no further than a sip as his heart began to pound in his chest. His eyes grew wide, his breathing frantic and an overwhelming fear took over him. He backed up from the pool as quickly as he could. It didn't shake, it wouldn't shake. Why wasn't it shaking? He squeezed the sides of his head with his palms and shut his eyes.

Another sip. He needed more water. Something different. Unfortunately, the one he drew from this time only caused him to feel much worse than before. The room continued to shift and warp before his eyes. Things were coming in an out of existence. He couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't any longer.

And then to top it all off, on top of everything shifting before him and whatnot, his mind began to degrade. Everything suddenly seemed so much more dangerous. He was on his own. Shun gritted his teeth and managed to stumble away for real this time around.

Sammy wandered into a much better lit room, it was far better then the dark halls she had stumbled around. Actually the sounds around implied a relaxing place actually, others where wandering pass going room to room and the faint sound of water splashing could be heard around.
"Drink or perish?" It took some staring but the symbols finally added up. Looking around she tried to spot anyone she knew.

Somehow she felt too young. Perhaps it was the continual thump of fear in her heart but she ventured back to the aging pool and took another drink.

Walking into the next room Cami was awestruck by what she saw. It looked like something out of a Turkish harem story, like you could expect an epic romance novel to be carried out not far away. She expected to hear the laughter of women as they came in to bathe but what she got instead was something much different. Drink of the pools or perish? Spinning on a heel she regarded the pools behind her that seemed to go on forever.
She walked through them for awhile before stopping in front of what seemed to be the most innocent of the pools. Sure it was amethyst in color, which was strange for a pool of water, but it didn't seem...harmful. Bending, she scooped up some of the water in her hand and sipped.
It was incredible.
Everything around the redhead gained a haze and lassitude she remembered from binge episodes in college. This was like the best garbagecan trash liquor mix and it didn't taste like the acid it should have been. Four sips and the Sun trainee was rolling in the grass, giggling. Jasper (at least she thought it was Jasper) was bent over her in his funny goggles looking concerned, trying to help her up, and she thought he was just so sweet. So she told him so.
"Jazzzzzper." Her voice was drunken music, accent so thick as to be almost unintelligible. "You da cuuuutest." Pulling his head down to hers she kissed him, firmly, in a way that would have been second base if this had been a date.

“Awww Yer so Sweeet, I really Like Y-MMMmMMM!!” He was a little surprised by the kiss, but my GOD he didn’t mind at all. He pushed hands into her short hair and kissed her back with all the delight of someone who’s crush has just born fruit.
“You…are like…seriously the…HAWWTEST hunter on the island, guys AND girls, and I want you to know I reshpetcht that VERY much.” He said earnestly.

She stuck in an obsessive cycle of fear. First she'd drink the pool to be old and then young. Then old again and then young again. Each time she came back feeling wrong. She wasn't the right age.. she didn't look right. Her face was too smooth or too wrinkled.
Concetta's heart beat frantically until she couldn't bear it any longer and she ran from the room with a wail, right past whoever had just come in.

It took some time for Milo to unravel from fear ridden self and to keep pressing forward. There was panic in his mind, the voice of Koume yelling at him and his Power Ranger drive all fighting for dominance. They all seemed to be making the feeling worse really. And he didn't like it. Which also made it worse.
But he moved himself to another pool. This time he didn't allow his fingers to relish in the cool waters, he just took a drink from his cupped hand.
The worst possible combination of feelings just seemed to happen. Fear and anger just decided to collide, irrationality took hold and Milo felt his body tense up in an unnatural way while his heart still pounded (wasn't this, like, paranoia?). He began to mumble to himself. "Drink the pools... drink the pools. Drown them in the pools, they're going to get you..."

No, she wasn't going to go find another pool. it was okay. She could stay right here with Jasper and have the most fantastic time. Things were starting to get a little R-rated by the time he pulled away for breath and said he was going to go find another pool so he could get them out of there. Or at least, that's what she thought he'd said.
She didn't much care. Another drink of the purple water and she was again on her back, giggling like a loon.

Man her kisses were invigorating, he felt younger with every touch. Actually he …really did feel younger, and just a bit shorter…and holy god his hair was long again what the hell was that last pool he sipped from?! He knew he should have gone back to the first one with its serious feel good-ness but you didn’t approach someone you liked with your inhibitions in the basement like that right?
Of course…youth had its own exuberance.
“Man you’re so…so pretty, this is like, a dream right? Nerds like me don’t get to kiss girls like you. He muttered and hiccupped.

Taking her...actually she couldn't remember how many drinks of the pretty purple water she'd taken. Or how many times she'd kissed Jasper. All Cami knew was that her coat was laying there on the ground next to her, she'd started trying to get her shirt off, and his needed to go with. Except Kidana was killing the buzz and the moment by reminding her Hunter that doing something like this in the middle of the enemy tower was not what she was supposed to be doing.
"Jaz you're silly. I kiss whoever I want and I like you. You're niiiiiiice. And not bad at this kissin' thing though not as good as Maebe. Nobody's good as Maebe though. She's magical." Letting out a long sigh she at least listened to Kidana enough to slump down against the taller Moon, snuggled up and happy. "'M so druuunk."

Insanity
He found another pool before he returned to Cami, and it tasted fine at the time but, then, there was just a bit of… a bit of the world not quite seeming to fit together. His breathing quickened with the paranoid KNOWING that something was wrong, something was so very very wrong.
He summoned Noni and tried to keep his steps measured, he jumped and spun at the slightest sounds holding his weapon between himself and any thing that seemed like it might be coming for him.
“Cami? Cami …c’mere… theres something off about this place.” He said breathing faster, eyes wide and his fingers going white knuckled on the grip of his weapon.

Crawling on her hands and knees because standing was making her head swim in ways that, while pleasant, made her fall over, Cami tried to find another pool. Jasper had gone off and said he'd be back, which was nice and she wanted to wait, but again came Kidana's nagging. She had to get out because she had a job to do. She was a Hunter. Getting drunk and having carnal relations in the middle of this place was not that job.
Kidana was apparently a big prude.
Finding the next closest pool, sapphire blue and lovely, Cami took a single cautious sip. This pool did not taste as good and, as she waited to feel the effects, her world melted. Her body burned. She screamed.
