Do you RP with her often? - Her name is Sailor Midnight... (I have a few, but this is the main one I use) A long time ago I thought of the name before I thought of the character & her powers so she went through a lot of changes over the years. Literally YEARS.
So uh, to keep the story line short she's a reincarnation of a princess of a made up planet in the Triangulum galaxy. Years ago this planet had two princesses both who were Sailor Senshi, but the older princess, Midnight, died (the younger one, Twilight, now protects the planet) Some people of said planet migrated to Earth on a peace mission with the White Moon. Since not too many outsiders were allowed in the Moon Kingdom, a majority settled in a camp on Earth which later grew into a village. More people moved to this camp when the White Moon needed assistance to keep the Negaverse away - to no avail. Midnight was reborn to the same race of humanoids who migrated to Earth approx 10 thousand years ago. Her people can live for up to 2 or 3 thousand years..

Eternal Sailor Midnight- She's a Sailor Senshi because
I said so it was foretold in her village of immigrants that the late princess would be reborn and come to protect them from their arch enemies, a strong group of reptilian humanoids called the Del'um'ae. After the battle for the White Moon, they were left defenseless and hoped for their own protector, and it turned out their enemies hired an army of shadow demons to attack the village while the Del'um'ae themselves focused on the home world. Midnight awakened as a Sailor Senshi one day when she was attacked. The villagers found out and embraced her awakening as they celebrated did their best to train her as a fighter.....all to Midnight's disapproval.
- She's not related to any canon characters and I would like to keep it that way if possible. She has no team and no knight. If someone wanted to pair her up with one, I'd be fine with that.
- She has powers over darkness and illusions. Her people have a natural skill to control shadows - such as a "shadow bender" if you will. They can conjure their own shadow or the shadows on inanimate objects into solid forms at will. Example: Sailor Midnight's weapon is a decorated scythe that she creates from her own shadow. They can also create false images from shadows. So, any power meant to cause "hallucinations" is purely from a mirage rather than a mind altering effect.
These skills take an inordinate amount of training and not everybody in her race can display such abilities.
Midnight's own mother cannot use her shadow skills for anything and has taken an occupation as an herbal healer.
- I RP'd with Midnight a LOT back in the day.. since then a lot of people have been asking for Canon role play. I've mostly taken a back seat in writing stories about her rather than role playing with her. Before all this profile tweaking, a lot of people thought my character's power was confusing so there's another reason why I don't play with her much anymore. I've since fixed that so I hope it makes sense. If not, I'll keep story writing <3
