I like that idea, that way they know ahead of time and if they do try to state it from their personal opinion we can outright tell them that they should have read our policy on the matter and if they cannot give an argument not based on them being gay/bi/homophobe/anything else then they aren't the sort of people we're looking for.

The last person who requested to join just included a sentence about "I think Pornography is good." in their request form. I'm declining them.

New essay in: kuronymphie_uke Gay rights: Personally, I am all for gay rights. I can see why some people might be opposed to gay marriage because of religious reasons. here is my argument against them; Many of the rights that gays hope to gain through marriage do not even need to have indications of their sexuality. No homosexual, at this point, will be seeking marriage for the moral justification of their sexual acts. Rather, they will be seeking it for the legal rights that currently some with marriage. It does not really make sense that these rights should be allowed through either marriage or blood ties, and thoses alone. For instance, let's say that I am estranged from my family, for whatever reason, and I have a very close best friend, with no sexual relationship, of whichever gender. If I were to fall into a coma, my family would be given custody over me and it is quite possible that my best friend would not even be allowed visitation rights. If I would not trust my family enough to care for me in these situations, then the law should not require me to give care to my blood relatives. In addition, for the sharing of property or children, if a single mother or a widow did not think she was able to care for her children alone, so a friend of hers helped her raise them, out of a sort of friendship love, then it is not fair that the child should be separated from the other person, who would have likely become like a parent to them, to go to their blood relatives. The same sort of thing can be applied to most rights that the gays seek. They do not need to have a sexual connotation. I'd give him a yay. He brings up some pretty good points, and seems open-minded. *is Chiku, incidently*

Uke? He used to be part of the old IPG. I've got some artwork I drew of his character stored on my comp. Ergo, yes from me, if my vote still counts?

New recruit! xsasukexnarutox Yuko Yamiyama xsasukexnarutox Yuko Yamiyama xsasukexnarutox Depends if your talking about about positive or negative infomation on gays. I'm a full gay supporter so i guess theres no problem with positive infomation on them, shoot~! it just dawned on me that media also stands for things like MTV not just the news (wow, i'm smart) On shows like 'Next' and 'Room Raiders' are just plan entertainment to me (my mother hates it though and it gets quiet annoying) sorry i'm going to have to stop my anwser here, this one was quiet hard for me to anwser. gonk Alright, so what do you think of homosexual treatment? Are they being treated fairly, or do they deserve better, and why? I think it's quiet unfair how homosexual's are treated, they have a right to choose who the love or have a sexual relationship with, it's no one else's choice. But with how the way their treating all the time it's really got to make you think 'Gee, some free country we are?'. Alright, so how should they be treated, and why? I think they should be treated just as everyelse should (not that everyone is ever treated perfectly) But i think they deserve to share their voice in everything just like other people. I really believe that they should be treated just like everyone else because many people treat homosexuals differently even though they liking someone of the same sex can be considerd as small of a difference as hair color or clothing style, yet people see it to be so different that they must be punished for it.

An essay on sex from Spiffy Negligee! I personally think this ones a good egg. 3nodding 3nodding 3nodding Spiffy Negligee The media is something that is shoved in our faces day-in and day-out. It shows us what they consider to be "social norms" of the time and tends to decide what we as a country or countries believe. One of the things most notorious for this is the sex it shows in the media. About 20 years ago, sex wasn't shown. Nor was visibly pregnant women, pregnant teens, or homosexuality at all. Now it's a social norm. It causes us to believe everybody's getting some, even that innocent-looking girl in your fourth period math class. It has also lead to people having sex at a younger and younger age. Now I hear about girls and guys going at it at 11 or 12. They are wearing smaller and smaller outfits and the skinny, flat-chested girls seem to believe they look good in those triangel bikinis with the skimpy little bottoms. Sex is about love. It has been scientifically proven that when you have sex for the first time, a hormone is excreted that leaves you feeling bonded with the one you made love to first. However, if you keep on doing it, eventually the hormone doesn't work anymore. The media leaves us believing that in order to be a real couple, you need to have sex first. It makes you believe that everyone is having sex except for you. I won't lie. People have sex. Women get pregnant. Teenagers get pregnant. I don't think that such things should be completely omitted from the TV, merely toned down. Take the Matrix Reloaded. It didn't need the sex scene at all. Even without it, it was a crappy movie, so adding the Neo/Trinity scene was just a bit much. They often add the sex scenes in other movies because Sex Sells. Still, you should at least leave us with the feeling that those who have had sex have had just as much as everyone else. And stop making us virgins feel so helpless!
