Edit: The join request list is backlogged. Please, help out and vote on the essays and interviews to make this process faster and more community-based. Thank you.
To make this simpler, we'll use one single forum to nominate and evaluate prospective members. Though I ask that mods start using their discresion when they interview a new member and only when they're not sure should they put the candidate up for evaluation.
Special cases that should almost always be evaluated:
-People under the age of 15 -People with some prejudice but are willing to set it aside
Why? Because people under the age of 15 do not usually have thier own opinions, just mimic what they hear. Also for maturity. Some people are prejudice but aren't bad people, they just have some grips about other people's preferences. We shouldn't ban them from the IPG but guide them to better understand others if they are willing to work with us and respect our rules.

Sounds reasoned to me, actually it sounds a lot like my own opinion.

Alright, here comes something from Katsutoshi! I'm liking this one. 3nodding katsutoshi Well, i'm pulling this essay idea from www.ehealthforum.com where I was looking up ideas and info to write on about age limits on sex. The following excerpt that caught my eye has shifted my topic to something a little different, but I hope that you will bear with me. My topic will be on the age limits given for females to be tested for pregnancy, and/or to be given the 'morning after' pill. kris2064 "im 14 years old and just had sex with my boyfriend without a condom...ive called about every clinic in my area asking if i could get a test to see if i was pregnant or the morning after pill...i think its unfair that you have to be 17 what am i supposed to do now? if i wait until i can take a pregancy test and it will be accurate and i am pregnant what am i supposed to do then? id rather find out now and take the morning after pill but because im underage i cant? i think its very unfair... " Now, the thought that a female can not be tested in different locales for pregnancy or can not be given the 'morning after' pill seems to be preposterous in many ways. Wouldn't you think that they should be given the right to do what anyone else in that situation is able to do? So, being 14 is just a tad young for intercourse...it happens though and the world needs to wake up to that. However, that is my belief system for wanting a lower age limit. But maybe their is a reason they don't allow those that young to use the pill. I found out later that this pill is really a "plan b, the so-called "morning after pill", contains four times the amount of hormones than a regular birth control pill" (www.ehealthforum.com/health/topic40549.html jenn_smithson). I'm thinking that this is one of the reasons for this girl's local doctors to not administer such testing or procedure, since at the girl's age, she is already going to be going through puberty. She could be going through big hormonal changes that this pill could simply disrupt and become completely unsafe for her. So, I asked a friend about just why they wouldn't administer such a treatment for someone that age. And we have another answer for this. The government in Florida tells them that someone under the age of 17 does not know what they want, especially in the situation with the pill since its a form of abortion. (I asked if the government said the same thing on a young rape victim, and she said their answer is the same...). So, i'd say that after looking at these different sources debating on the age a person can be tested and or given the pill, i'm up for them to open up the age restraints. They have to at least be tested, especially if its not the test that's doing harm. As far as the pill goes...despite it still being abortion, it would be a tremendous burden for any young female to become a mother at that age so I would have to say that the pill should be used with an open age limit as well. ~katsu~

I would give a yay to katsu. Though I also have an extreme urge to argue against what she just wrote, the fact that she coul prevent her points in a way that I would have to think to argue against shows something.
