Hello my name here on gaia is Enshara. I've been starting to read up on wiccan as well as paganism. I have wanted to practice but I don't wish to do so without a teacher. lol. After all the rambling here is some more about me. I'm 19, female and I love to roleplay, sing, read, and game. I am mainly a roleplayer here on gaia but I do tend to do other things as well. lol

Hi, Im victoria, but please call me either Tori or a nick name! Most people dont take the time to get to know me, so only read if your not like that! I love the colors blue, black, red and white, I love to swim and cheer, I watch football, basket ball, and Nascar, Im a singer in my spare time, and an artist. I have mood swings now and then, and I have four other people in my head lol. I cn be verry random, and I love rolepleying. Im 13, and have no life, so ill probably be here a lot.

So..... in the Pagan/Wiccan community, I'm known by my mage-name, which you see in my sig. This is what I consider my "real" name as it's the one I use for myself! My legal/birth first name is Tracy, but I only answer to that if someone else (mainly the family) uses it. My True Name... well, that's between me & the Gods/Powers, so I can't give you that one. Sorry!
I am a daughter of Sekhmet of the Ancient Egypt/Kemetic pantheon --and no, I did not choose Them. Auset/Isis contacted me first in the early 90s, then Sekhmet showed up in '98 - and I've been Hers since. I'm not a "true" Priest of Sekhmet (She thinks of that word as being unisex, as I learned that first morning); I'm more of a Jester to her - making Her laugh and reminding Her that not all Humans are worthy of punishment. (She does remember the time She went overboard and nearly wiped our race out - and remembers the hangover that stopped Her, although She doesn't remember {like us Humans} just how She got drunk. She has told me that that trick won't work anymore either..... wink ) I know I learn from Her and some of the other Gods in the Pantheon on the Astral --even if I don't remember being at the Lesson. I don't usually remember my Dreams unless they're Important for some reason. And yes, there have been times when I've Traveled to other worlds; I generally wake up with a sense of being somewhere. My first thought then is "Where did I go this time?" wink Let's see.... other than this, I am also on Yahoo!Groups: one of a duo of Moderators of the Ladies-only group called Witchy Women --and we mean ladies only! (Sorry guys - but there is a Y!Group for you gents as well; no, I don't know the URL.) The other group is mixed, but region-locked: it's called Dixie Witches, for the SE US only. (It's defined by the 2000 version of the Census; if you're in one of those states, c'mon in and sit a spell!) All you need to do to get into either is fill out a questionnaire that will be sent to you; if you don't get that, send me an Email (use the one in the groups, please) and I'll make sure you get a copy.
As for hobbies... besides Gaia? Yes, I joined up in June of '03, but as usual with people like me (ADHD), promptly forgot about it until about Yule of that year. That's when Fishing & Towns came out, and I found that I liked Gaia and made it my hobby. Believe me, this is the longest I've ever had a hobby; even the quarter-collecting (which I do from time to time) is getting a little old. For my other interests, watch the "Next in the Netflix queue" part of my Profile; I've got a lot of anime series to watch yet, although I've watched a few via them as well. I like to collect things - I've mentioned the quarters (have most of the State version, now working on the "National Parks" version), and there's probably others around my stuff too.
Age? Hm... physically, 46 - and right now trying to get the govt. to label me as "disabled" since I've learned that businesses do not want people like me 'cause we "cost too much" to keep. rolleyes They denied me in two seconds after getting my app because I don't have "enough credits" in the System to get it. That sends me into a loop - so I appealed....and now I wait. (I've been told that each appeal takes three to four months to get a decision. whee So I wait....)
Mentally? Sometimes I'm oh, between 18 - 25; other times, I feel like a Mother, and other times, a Crone..... is there such thing as a "Crone Maiden"? I wonder.... as I mentioned before, I have ADHD, and yes, I've medication for it. My psychiatrist sees me every 8 weeks to see how I'm doing, and she knows that cash is tight now, so I get my stash of that medicine straight from her. Nice Indian (from India) lady, yet a pro as well. More on that in PMs if you want to know.
I live on the Space Coast of Central Florida; down near the Southern edge of what is known as "Lightning Alley" (which gets more Lightning in the World than anywhere else). I am also in the middle of moving; I'll try to drop in the "sign-in" thread from time to time to let y'all know what I'm up to. The new place isn't far, but my goal is to get in there before (calendar) Year's end.
Well, that's enough for now, and I'll leave with one piece of advice: I can be very blunt at times. I see this as having two origins: (a)Sekhmet {She doesn't mince words either}, and (b) ADHD. So if I come across as rude, ask me in PM what I meant by what I said. I don't mean to be this way, but sometimes there's no other way to get my point across!

Wow the merriest of meets...I'm Christine Magdalena and 52, I have been wiccian/pagan most of my life (seems like forever) I'am so excited to see so many younger people taking control of there own beliefs. I enjoy reading tarot and palms, my favored practice is working with herbs for healing and spell casting. I'm a solitary witch but do help out ocassionally with group rituals. May I always use them wisely, so note it be! Blessed be to you and your awesome gaiain

 Hey, all! My name is Lex, and there's a lot of crap about me that I could say. xD I'll split it into Wicca related and non-Wicca related paragraphs for my own sanity.
I'm almost all the way through my 21st year of life. I'm an Aquarius, and though I'm not into horoscopes and it doesn't really affect me, I still like being an Aquarius, which I find hilariously contrasting to my fire elemental nature, which IS a very big part of my life. I'm also pretty silly person. I like to be the one chilling in the chair and making jokes that everyone laughs at, because laughter is the best thing ever. I'm a trumpet performance major, but I might not graduate with that degree (most people don't). This song really touches me as truth about music, even if it is a comedy song. xD I'm also zombie obsessed, and totally pumped for the Zombie Apocalypse. You know Zoey from Left 4 Dead? Yeah, that's me, except I'm not failing college. xD
As for Wicca, well, let's start with some history. Raised in a loosely Christian household, religion was never big, we went to Church but it wasn't like we had to. My 'rents don't even go to Church any more. Well, in high school I met my sister (sister via a loose "sisterhood" and lots and lots of love, not through blood or marriage), who is a natural witch (or so we call them, I'm not sure if that's the term, and I hope it's not offensive) and we've had amazing talks about Wicca. I've always believed in spirits and such, even if I can't see them (except for my overactive imagination, which doesn't count). My sister says that I've got a lot of energy, but I'm kind of magic retarded. Ha ha, I'm a fighter, my strategy is to hit it with my sword until it stops moving. I don't have the intelligent scores to deal with magic. [/D&D nerd] Well yeah, I've been pretty apathetic about religion (and everything in general, really), but a friend finally got my a** in gear to get into Wicca.
Also, I swear to God, a poltergeist is possessing my microwave.

On here my name's Jade but, you can call me that or Jamie, which is my real name. Any who! I'm 13 and I am in 8th grade. I have been on Gaia for quite a few weeks.
I am obssessed with anime/manga but my main obssession as of now is one called Axis Powers Hetalia! I think it is the coolist thing since sliced bread! Haha and that is my fave saying!!

Hello all. My name is Andrew. You can call me whatever nickname you can think of. I'm not particular to any specific one. I'm currently obsessed with learning Flamenco style guitar playing. I come from Warwickshire, England. I moved to America about five years ago. It wasn't until I met my best friend in America, that I got into Wicca, or really learned a lot about it. I have her to thank for that. I'm into a few anime here and there, but mostly older anime from the 90's. I'll be 20 in a few months. I'm a high school graduate. Allo, My name is Cameron Sionnach, you can call me Hex, Fox, or Cam, They are the three nicknames I have earned over the years. I was born in Braemar, Scotland, but grew up living in London, England until the age of 11 when I moved back to Scotland and began living in Glasglow. I grew up Catholic but being Homosexual I never really was religious until I met my dear friends Isis and Selene. They introduced me to Wicca and I converted to Wicca. Being secretly Wiccan, and homosexual, my parents still thought I was a good Catholic boy until I finally told them I was Gay, and not Catholic last year. They Disowned me like they did my older brother Drake, who is bisexual, and I then moved to Melborne Australia, and have been there ever since, living my life openly and happily. I love to Sing, and play the piano, violin, and flute. I am a freshman in college going for a double major in musical feilds. I'm 17 now, the youngest in my college, which makes me feel out of place.

Ohh!!! CATS! :] My high school's theatre group did this for One Act Competition this year. It was exquisite. I love CATS. We got all the way to region with it. Anyways. whee On to my introduction! Well, my given name is Taylor, though you may call me that, Avalyn, or Iileyah. Iileyah is just a name I adopted along the way, that I love to use online. Avalyn is part of my craft name. I was born on September 15, 1995. And what a wonderful world I was brought into. Some people may ask what kind of crack I'm on for thinking it is wonderful, but I choose to look past the crime, hate, judgment, etc. and see it as the gods created it. In my mind, what they created is a wonderful piece of art and I'm one of the lucky people to get to see it. I have 3 siblings: a twin brother, an older sister, and an older brother. They are wonderful, though annoying. My parents are happily married. And I have 4 pets: 3 dogs and a turtle. I enjoy to read, write, draw, sew, act, sing, dance, pray, watch, listen, speak; and my list could go on for days. A lot of people see me as a sad, lonely person, because I prefer to be by myself. Being with myself allows me to think on a different level and not be distracted by other things. It allows me to see things and people for who or what they really are. I'm very open with my religion outside of my home. My parents are Christian, so they're not very supportive. We tend to avoid the subject at all costs. My friends at school are very accepting, though. And I've not lost any friends due to is. So, I'm really one of the fortunate ones. I'm a Virgo. My Chinese Zodiac is a Pig/Boar. I'm an Earth element. My favorite color is turquoise. My favorite animals are wolves and cats (wild or domestic). I'm just an average girl. Not really popular, but some beg to differ. I love my life and everything in it. I'm very glad I was led to my path. And speaking of which, I just term myself an Eclectic Pagan as of now. I'm still trying to discover what it is I believe and what path I may follow. I'm only 15, so I have a long way to go before things become final. Trial and error is sometimes the best way to learn at this age. So, if I make mistakes, so be it. It's just a process of learning. I've never been very good at introductions, so I suppose I shall start in the middle.
Because it seems a reoccurring and important theme: I am a Gemini. My favorite colors are purest silver and shades of blue; my favored number is 13; I feel closest to beings of serpentine or feline nature; I prefer summer over winter, autumn over spring, moonlight over sunlight, solitude over socializing; I use logic, intuition, and instinct equally, never relying on one above the others, for that is folly beyond foolishness; I don't respond well to BS or holier-than-thou attitudes; I will give creative criticism, and I welcome it in return; finally, I have a short temper.
I have no preferred name, and will not make up one for the purpose of having. Call me what you will; I have few objections. I am twenty years of age, in college, and still uncertain as to my path in life. I am pursuing an education in Creative Writing, and enjoy challenging myself.
I must be honest in saying that I know little to nothing about Wicca, or any religion for that matter. I can count on one hand the number of times I have been in a church or other consecrated ground. I do not view the established religions as inferior, only not befitting myself. Christianity and its sister, Islam, frighten me in their zealous pursuit of what they believe is right, and their constant combativeness toward one another. Most eastern religions alienate me because of their karmic beliefs of ignoring the stations of those less fortunate. Even what little I've studied about Wicca has made me feel as if I am lost and stumbling in the dark.
I believe that there is a greater Force beyond our understanding, and that it can be touched all around us. I feel that there are 'paranormal' events occurring every moment, and that there are those who are more sensitive to them than others. I'm just not certain I can believe that waving burning sage and chanting can help me become more 'in tune' with those forces.
So I am here to learn. I need a guiding light, if even for a short time. I feel that a natural, undemanding environment with unscripted interaction would best help me. Though I have looked into the pagan ways since I was thirteen or so, I cannot honestly say I am a Seeker of the Wiccan path. I dabble in Tarot, but because the images speak to me in ways that people do not; I watch documentaries on all things occult, because they interest me on a deep level, though rarely intellectually; I come to learn, to experience.

I'm a Gemini and the year of the Monkey, so I'm doubly cursed. lol. I'm hyper, friendly, funny, loud, and smart. I was born with a disease called Hydrocephalus, but it's gone now.
