“Good.”

The boy had received his message and was on his way, but of course not immediately. The forgetful Sama realized that Deity was not as attuned to nature as Sama was and while he sat outside in the cold weather shirtless the boy needed some protective layers. Sama had endured well beyond freezing point temperatures as well as extreme heats that would cook most meat, his body was the pinnacle of durability, and his most defining trait as Speed was for Deity. He sat outside in the cold enjoying the brisk air and chirping birds, the ones who could tolerate the weather anyways. So he waited….O he would have to bring up purchasing a room as well when they talked.

Kirra supped her tea in silence next to Deity, letting her eyes and thoughts wander about the room. Kenta was chatting it up with a cute little girl that had walked in. Unks had been sent upstairs for a shower by Epithany. The two newcomers at the bar weren't doing much of anything but keeping their stools warm, while Caine and Taliman were hanging out together. If one could call it that. All and all, everything was pretty quiet, and it was kinda nice to see the Club bustling with non-aggressive activity.

And also kinda boring.... The woman thought to herself. She lifted her cup and drained the last of the liquid from it. It was pretty good, the tea Pith had made, though exactly what it was made of was lost on her. Before she could ponder deeper in the ingredients, Deity stepped back next to her, drawing her green eyes in his direction. His hand slid gently along her hip as he mentioned having to step out for a minute. Step out? That was a bit random. But she mentally shrugged it away, knowing the boy would tell her later if it mattered.

His tone left something hanging, and she turned to meet his pale red eyes, exposed since his glasses had slid slightly. Deity's subtle message was easily received, and answered by just a small smirk and a slow blink of those jade green eyes. Had it been Jade out, Deity likely wouldn't be leaving right now. The girl would probably get into an altercation with Taliman, or Caine, or both. Kirra, on the other hand, didn't mind just watching, especially when the show was good to look at.

As Deity walked to the elevator, Kirra brought her mug over to the sink and placed it in. She still had a bottle of water that was opened, but only after getting an apple for herself did Kirra return to it. She bit deep into the juicy flesh of the fruit and chewed on it thoughtfully, glancing about the room and thinking about how she might be able to stir up a little excitement without causing *too* much trouble. Her eyes would inevitably fall back to Taliman, however, and a small smirk never left her lips.

Settled at the bar the mage sat nursing her cup of tea in silence. She had let her disappointment overcome her. She likely had the biggest news she would ever give him in his life and the idiot had nigh forgotten her existence. Raising her cup to her lips she barely made note of the two fresh mana signatures that had entered the club. Slumped over tea a voice reminiscent of Unks asked about drinks.

"That shower was qui..."

Blinking dimly he glanced at the blue steel haired young man pursing her lips. At once the recognition of the odd wavelength of mana, reminiscent of Kentas caught her attention. Returning her gaze to her mug the steam fogged up her glasses. Still glancing down her cup she spoke to the stranger.

"Your from Kenta's time aren't you?"

Raising her mug to her lips she took a slow sip. Adjusting her glasses she remained silent studying the man's profile.

"I take it, you didn't let me know before you left..."

Shaking her head she sighed.

"Must all the men in my life be so difficult?"

Rising to her feet she headed behind counter in silence.

"What can I get you? It better not be anything alchoholic or I'll flatten you right here and now."

She gave him a wry smile as she spoke.

"I have that right don't I"

::The boy pushed his glasses up his nose as he looked at his younger mother and smiled blushing lightly as she already caught onto who he was so suddenly. But he really shouldn't of been surprised. He looked down and spoke softly.

"Already figured it out huh. . . ? Well I guess I am not surprised. Mom you are the most brilliant person I know, and I bet Dad would have figured it out as well."

He looked up and pushed his hair out of his face as he looked around the room for his father. He then felt his father's energy signal upstairs in their room. He looked back at his mother and answered her question about what to drink.

"No mother nothing alcoholic, but I am 21 so drinking isn't a problem. Just not a fan of it. . .Can I have some of what your drinking?"

He continued to look at her and up at where Unks should of been, and back to her. He felt something wrong in the air, but wasn't completely sure on what it was.

"I will answer all your questions in a moment Mom, but I have one of my own. Is something wrong between you and Dad?"

The little girl put her hands behind her head as she walked towards the bar counter. Her growling stomach was telling her to try and find the kitchen, but it could wait. Hotaru climbed onto a chair and looked around for someone who didn't look like they would bite her head off. "Hmm...Anyone know Keno?" She asked while poking at a beer bottle left on the counter.

As soon as Vertis's question came out of his mouth, Kenta delivered him a sound backhand to the back of his head. To be sure, he was already a bit miffed an unnerved at his friend's seeming recklessness. Miss Pith's declaration that he probably would do it without her permission only irritated him more, as it likely did Miss Pith.

"You're as tactless as ever," he conveyed to Vertis telepathically, though he might as well have said it out loud for the intensity in his glare. "Your first day here and already you're trying to rattle cages. First of all, she's your mother! You answer her questions first, NOT the other way around. Second of all, don't go interfering with lovers' quarrels; especially your own parents."

He was impressed Miss Pith had figured it out, but then again, Kenta's father also noticed immediately. It was a surprise to him that he was able to trick his mother so well and for so long. Everyone else knew, but they were all good at keeping secrets it appeared.

With his sanctions on Vertis's behavior done, Kenta returned his kind attention to the little girl, who apparently knew his father. He might have told her as much, but currently Kenta looked like the older of the two, not having gained his father's agelessness.

"Well we all know Keno, I think," he explained to the little girl, "but he's not here right now. At least, I don't think he is. Why are you looking for him? Do you need something?"

As the question was asked, Hotaru would begin spinning in the stool, assuming it was one of those bar stools that could spin. She had never seen Kenta before, since she couldn't come to visit often. Hotaru just came to visit Keno once in a while since he didn't come to visit her much anymore. "I'm Hotaru. Tao-Tao's my big brother and I came to visit him." She explained as she spun in the chair. Of course, Keno wasn't really her brother, but she always thought of him as such. She always did enjoy their visits and she planned to visit more often Once she was done spinning, she looked at Kenta and grinned. "When is he coming back? And who are you?"

Pausing to stare sidelong at her future son the mage sucked on tongue before finding the words.

"Your father has taught you well in his use of tact...but don't worry it will take more than what transpired here to do any last damage. If everytime your father made a faux pas threatened our marriage, Well we wouldn't have 4 years under our belt."

Losing herself in thougth she laughed.

"Wow has it really been 4 and a half years...my how time flies."

Pausing to look at the young man before she laughed.

"Geez this must be as akward for you as it is for me...You wanted tea didn't you?"

Rushing off she disappeared into the kitchen returning with the pot and a cup. Mumbling an indiscernible phrase mana crackled about the pot as she pour its contents into the cup, the liquid exuding steam.

"Here's your tea. So about my questions. Is there going to be some sort of mass exodus from the future. First Kenta, now you."

The Emperor of Orion merely grunted when he heard his officer's remark. Indeed it was Caine who first witnessed Tybron in his newly living state and duly reported it to his superior. While unbelieving at first he knew his General not to be a gullible half-wit, nor did the man have any screws loose. It warranted more than a simple follow-up. Taliman needed to see this for himself, which brought both men to their current situation.

Wesley lifted his glass for a drink of vodka. He didn't feel he needed to address his General further. Caine knew nothing if not his master's trust in him so there was no reason to assume he wasn't appreciated. The Saiyajin officer's work at the Core set the new standard for combat, training exercises, and discipline, something soldiers of a non-combative race stressed their limits to achieve. His merits and ability to keep secrets kept him in his position.

Another gentle tilt of the glass, Tali's eye lazily drifting across the goings-on nearby. The mage was discussing the future with some monkey he didn't know. The little monarch assumed from the conversation that said monkey was from the future. Or a future. His physical state and demeanor left two immediate conclusions. Either Tali was destined to succeed in his own endeavor of protecting his empire. Or this git was just from a different reality. He chose the latter and quickly lost interest, moving his gaze away fromthose two.

Peering over the cup in his hand, Wesley caught Kirra's eye. The little Saiyajin woman was already looking at him, right at him, with a calculating look in her eyes. Wesley hooked onto it, absorbed by it for the moment. He threw back to her an indirect expression of arousal, told only by the subtle difference in how he watched her from across the room. A bemused, feral excitement that showed only in his eye. The two were staring intently at eachother, neither turning away. What were they thinking? Was he reading her, or maybe letting her read him? The red haired demon and the monkey woman shared eye contact for more than a minute. The mutual interest they held with eachother would've been obvious had everyone not been preoccupied with someone else.

Taliman's and Kirra's locked gaze wasn't broken until the demon rose his glass, downing the last of the beverage within. By the time the cup was lowered he'd looked away, letting out a sigh as he waited for his brother to finish his affairs.

:;Vertis' smile had faded when Kenta hit him in the back of his head and pretty much called him stupid. He would talk to Kenta later, because right now his focus was on his mother. He watched her and his smile returned as she spoke of his father's screw ups and if they hadn't ended him now, it wasn't going to end them. Of course he already knew the outcome of that thought and smiled wider.

As she ran off to make his quick cup of tea he shot a "What the Hell!?" look at Kenta and shook his head. He spoke into Kenta's mind back as Kenta had done to him. "We will talk later Kenta. I know my limits and my boundaries." As Epithany came back to him with his tea he took the cup from her and blew into it to cool it down some before he took a small sip.

"Mom your tea is as amazing as always! Thank you!"

He took another small sip and placed the cup down softly and looked into his mother's eyes and took his glasses off and laid them onto the bar counter. He rubbed his eyes slightly and left his glasses off to speak::

"But no mom, no more people will be coming from the future to join us. I was just sorta bored and didn't know where to go, so I decided to back to this point in time. I think training with you or dad would be a great learning experience."

Kenta gawked at the little girl momentarily. He may not know a lot of things about his father, but he thought he knew who KenoTao considered a sibling. The other two were a lot closer to his age. This girl was what? 25 years younger? Plus Kenta could not remember any of his aunts having hair quite so red.

“Hotaru, is it? Well it’s nice to meet you. I’m Kenta,” he said amicably while ignoring Vertis’s gaze and his remark. If nothing else, Kenta could dissemble when he wanted to.

“Unfortunately,” he continued with the little girl, “I don’t know when Keno is coming back. He comes and goes whenever he wants.”

”Not that he’s ever technically gone to begin with. He’s just not appearing,” he thought to himself.

“If you want Hotaru, I can make you some cocoa or something and wait with you.”
