When Sarviur knelt at his Goddess' feet, this time, he felt strange. He should have been giddy with excitement. It was his Goddess, at last. She had been lovely and sweet and fed him, and he had not had to do anything difficult except drink some tea - and that really wasn't so hard at all, wasn't it? And he'd remembered - he'd remembered something, and he still remembered the slow churning of his stomach as the drink slid down his throat, and the memory had hit him. He didn't remember what it had been. He was sure that removing it had been a wise decision - but what about the rest? No, he trusted his Goddess. And here was her presence now, a giggle of wind through his ears and his heart, shifting, changing things - It was bluer than before, he thought, and fuller. He watched it beat with gentle fascination, and looked up at her statue. Maybe if he ever became a Goddess, he'd understand. Until then, his job, really, was to serve. He remembered not what was asked of him, but if he was here, it meant he had completed his task, whatever it was. He had a feeling he wouldn't have wanted to remember anyways.

Rostym bent and prayed to the goddesses once she was in the shrine, sharing a quiet moment with herself--well, as much as the odd voices and oddly mumbled word would give her. The more they sacrificed, the less she was starting to think she really knew. But she would soldier on, because that was what the goddesses needed: strong subjects.

Whatever he had managed to do, he was happy, perhaps simply pleased. Maybe he made someone else happy so the joy was spread upon him. So, he walked in with a smile on his face, ready for what the new Blessing would hold.
It held so much, more pieces of the puzzle that was him. Nothing solid, but short snippets of things. He could hear waves, he could smell the ocean and odd collections of jingles and phrases he couldn't understand but perhaps once did. More of himself. Amazing.

Happy was not a feeling usually equated with Palem in any incarnation of herself. But here she was smiling and approaching the Goddess, waitinf and wanting the warmth that a blessing could offer her. She closed her eyes, letting it wash over her.
There were voices again, but those she could grasp and hold onto. Books, that boy had said to her in the aftermath of battle. It made so much more sense now.

The Shrine was always where the needed to go when a Task felt completed, so the small shadowed girl found herself there like usual, bowing her head softly to the Goddess as she bestowed her warm Blessing.
It felt nice, part of her felt more complete. She could hear voices again, memories breaking through unknown cracks in her mind. And staying there. She opened her eyes, turned to them ceiling as if watching them.

The Shrine. Rhryse stood, her task done, the happiness she felt from completing it still lingering. She wore a smile this time, as she received the Blessing. It was warm, it was nice. She left happy.

The memories had been taken, but something still remained. Happiness, but not just happiness. Something more. She herself was becoming more, the blessings that the goddesses gifting her giving her shape. She accepted this blessing with thanks, and left to explore the world some more. The completion of a task. Acerola felt more like....herself. A feeling rose from within, from finishing the Goddess' request, but Acerola felt like what she had just discovered and lost was much much more than she felt.

Thean bowed to the Goddesses as she entered the shrine. She hoped she was not too late to offer her completion. She felt happier with herself than she had in a while. She accepted her blessing with thanks.

Koshabi snuffed as he stalked in, his head hung and his wings drooping. How was he even worthy of a blessing after that? He told himself he would get better--or die trying.
