I don't know if this is bugging anyone else or if it's just my weird issues....
But the newest slave (Arcaeo) and a slave further up on the same page (Eithen) have the same play-by.
I mean, it's a different picture, but it's obviously the same character.
There's nothing in the rules about using the same play-by as someone else (and indeed it often happens in S/M) but they're right on the same page, so it's rather obvious.
I don't know.
I'm not saying that one of them has to be changed
But it's just something that bugs me ;____;

It bothers me as well.
The reason why I picked the picture is because it is from a Manga and he is a vampire in it.
But I will change it if I have to.
Because honestly it does bother me a lot as well.

Stella and I have the same issue XD
Her master Lucian, and my master Azazel have the same character image ;D
Thankfully, we both use different ones for posts, so there's no real confusion.
The fun fact is we both have slaves for each others characters as well rofl

At least for Stella and myself, the similarities aren't too noticeable.
Unlike the example you mentioned.

The way I see it, PBs are a first-come, first-serve sort of thing.
I mean, in SM guilds, because there's so many characters, it happens a lot more often than in other rps
because generally characters are only interacting with specific others, so those that have the same pb never meet.
(also because in most others, 'drop-offs' are common, so character might not even enter the shops)
And (especially) in the large guilds, it can be rather tedious to look through every thread to see what pics are taken.
So I do understand when it happens.
But it kind of bugs me when it's a situation where it's so obvious
I mean, I was very confused at first because I'm pretty sure the pic used in Eithen's posting layout is the same one used in Arcaeo's profile.
Whereas I didn't even notice Lucian and Azazel until it was pointed out to me ^^;
(although I also haven't seen a post from Lucian, so I don't know what pic(s) Stella uses there)
Man, now I'm starting to sound really OCD and/or biased or something about this...
I'm going to run off and do other things (like attempting to post) before I risk sounding crazier than I already do...
