The smile on Ichi's face grew bigger. "You're so cute." She moved in front of him and stopped, expecting him to stop as well. "It's okay that you didn't want to dance. A lot of guys don't enjoy dancing." And with that Ichi left Kenta be so she could dance by herself. Ichi enjoyed dancing, so she didn't mind, maybe someone else would come in and dance with her.

If he could show any blush, he would have, but thankfully, or perhaps regretfully, all he could do was look shier, which meant his mother probably only thought him cuter for it. He honestly couldn't tell if she was being a flirt or an adult adoring his youth. Either way the fact that she didn't mind him not dancing made him feel relieved, though guilty, and as he took a seat by the bar, all he could do was look apologetic as he kept his eyes half heartedly on the only other person in the room.
By the time she started dancing again he realized he hadn't actually said anything in response. Not that it mattered. It seemed his mother was never one to take too many things to heart and this was no different. How she could be so carefree sometimes eluded him.

Ichi had forgotten how much she'd dance earlier, so she got tired quickly. She didn't want to work up a sweat, so she just wanted to cool off. She stopped dancing right in the middle of a song to go to the bar. She jumped over the counter to get to the fridge. She lifted up her arms into the air and stretched before she bent down and opened the fridge door to search for a can of cherry coke. She easily found a can and pulled the tab, sipping from the cold soda.
"Mm. Refreshing."
She turned around and faced Kenta, closing the fridge door behind her with her tail. She wasn't just going to sit there and do nothing while someone else was in the room. So she pulled herself up onto the counter, near Kenta.
"Hey, Kenta, what'cha doin'?

"Uhh," he was at a loss at first, seeing as he felt it was quite clear he wasn't doing anything at all. However, the reason he stammered was because he had stopped paying attention to his mother and started instead to pay attention to what he was listening to, though his mind was still doing something quite separate from that.
"I'm just...passing time I suppose Miss Ichi. There's not a lot for me to really do this late so I thought maybe I'd come by." He left out the part where he had hoped to maybe see Miyuki san and clear up the previous misunderstanding between them, as it still made him fairly uneasy thinking about how he complimented one lady so generously only to have to compare her to his mother - both of which were oblivious of the fact - right after.
"I met your boyfriend a few days ago," he said, realizing that were he sly enough he could maybe get something out of her without revealing his identity. "He seems a bit rough around the edges, and very rude and assertive. Is he always that way or did I just meet him on a bad day?"

Ichi was shocked to hear what Kenta said, not the seeing the boyfriend part, but the 'rude and assertive' part. That was so unlike Keno, well at least to her. She's never seen or heard of him being like that. She just stood quiet for a while, her wide eyes seeming to stare at nothing on the floor. She blinked. She lifted her head up to look back at Kenta with worried, sad eyes.
"Was he really? I... I don't know what to say. Did you say anything to him?"

He had to choose carefully how to answer, not because of the look of utter surprise on her face, but because saying the wrong thing would inevitably...well you know.
"Well I really didn't have the chance. He told me he could hear my thoughts clear as though I spoke them and then he just brushed me off before I could really say anything to him. It wasn't very nice of him at all." Anymore and he'd be harping to her hte same he would come to do years from now. Not a nice word to say about his father at all and so many bad things that he could host a televised forum single handedly.

She moved closer to Kenta, wanting to know more. Keno, mean? The only way that those two words were in a sentence together is if there was a 'not' between them. She wanted to know more about their meeting, it's just so rare that Keno is cold hearted.

A geez. She would be the inquisitive one to ask the same question in a thousand different ways. The more vague he was the more specific she would likely become. He really didn't want to lie to her.
"I was just wondering what I should say to him. When I came in he was sitting at the bar alone. Couldn't tell if he was an inviting persona or not. That's when he kinda just responded out of nowhere. We only talked for a moment before he brushed me off for...someone else." He hadn't met Deity here yet and should his mother say anything to the man any time soon, it might create a bit of a problem. Either way he looked thoroughly irritated all over again, though only in the face. His body was still calm as ever, hands clasped together on the counter, neck a bit sore as he had to look up to see his mother, something he wasn't used to doing when so close up.

The large left door of the Club swung open in a hurry, a small, slender hand obvious on the handle. Jade rushed inside, closed the door behind her, and let out a heavy sigh as she leaned back against it. The young woman was dressed simply; a pair of jeans that were a bit too long, a black long-sleeved shirt with a V-neckline, and a pair of black boots. She had on her gold locket and ring of course, and that was really it for her outfit.
The girl had been out walking for most of the day, just letting her mind wander and not feel confined by walls. She had been out so long though, that night had begun to fall. And it was a full moon. Once she realized this, Jade rushed back to the Club, keeping her head down as best she could.
Jade had made it back though, safe and sound. She personally didn't want Deity to find out she'd been outside on a full moon, considering the results of the last time. It was then that she noticed others in the room, to her right by the bar. Kenta and Ichigo.
"Good evening! Ichi-chan, Oi---.....Kenta-kun." She had caught herself from saying 'nephew' in Japanese, not knowing if Ichigo had proficency with it. Best not jepordize anything from what she knew about Kenta, and what Ichigo didn't.
Jade walked over to the bar with them, a smile on her face. But she couldn't help but pick up a bit on their conversation upon her approach. If they wished for her input, Jade could easily give her own account of Keno's change. But only if they wished. For now though, she walked around the bar to get a bottle of water from the fridge below.
"How's it going tonight?"

"I see."
She looked back down at the nothing on the floor. She just stayed in that position quietly, thinking, then she lifted up her head again, smiling at Kenta.
"I'm sure that he was just in a bad mood. Keno's actually a very nice person. Maybe the next time you meet him, he'll be in a good mood."
Ichi remembered she had a cherry coke sitting next to her, so she picked it up and finished it quickly, tossing the empty can into the trash. She heard a familiar voice and she turned to see where the voice was coming from.
"Hi Jade! Long time! It seems that you met Kenta already."

Yenek opened the door and walked into the room. He normally wasn't one for walking around but he was tired and didn't have the energy to open a rift to get into the Club. He closed the door behind him and turned to face the room.The Devil Lord appeared as if he had just gotten off the battlefeild, truth was he had, he was wearing a bloodstained curiass over his normal polo and his pants had plated armor attacked to the sides of the legs, the holes in his hat was filed up by his long horns and his traveling cloak was replaced with a rather tattered black cape."Another Week another revolt," he muttered to himself then turned to face the room.
Yenek quickly noticed the people in the room and smacked himself in the head "Right this place is busy late," he sad to himself "Sorry for coming in like this Jade," he said knowing she was at least a bartender he figured she would be the one to aplologize to for coming into a Club in his condition. After that he silently walked to the door that would lead him to the Springs and opened it. One swoosh of his cape later Yenek was in the hall and headed down stairs.

"Yes...I'm sure," he said rather sarcastically as he had his own impression of his father already and there weren't enough people in the world to convince him that Keno was a nice guy in any mood. He looked a bit disconcerted until he heard a familiar voice ring out and catch his ears.
He didn't seem the least bit phased when Jade began to say 'oi' for 'oiko.' So well timed was her pause that he interpretted it as the Japanese casual greeting, though it was a bit masculine for his aunt. He took no notice though, but he did turn to smile at her warmly in greeting while at the same time giving her one of those looks as though not to get too maternal on him lest she cause any suspicion.
"Good evening Miss Jade." Though she did come rushing into the club, he could not think of a good reason why, and since she had seemed to calm down almost immediately, hardly noted it at all. "I suppose all is well. I really only just work and wander so there isn't anything to talk about." Feeling rather sheepish at his lack of a life in any real way, his gaze once again shied away from them both.
