Days ago and he was still mulling over his thoughts, which he really had few of - actually none. He couldn't quite put his finger on what his mind was doing as it wasn't quite thinking, not was it really not thinking. Surely he was thinking, but that wasn't exactly the case. Whatever he was doing, he wasn't doing it, and that was just fine by him.
There were only a few things that were painfully obvious to him. Jade was still deathly afraid of Taliman. Her discomfort when near him was related to her loathing for him indeed, but the truth of the matter was that if she hated him, it was only because he scared her that much more. It might even cause her more rage to know that her phobia got the better of her, which in turn would make her seething hatred number one. Either way, that fear had to be dealt with among other things if she ever expected to actually survive an actual encounter with him. Luckily for her he had come looking for trouble and not the other way around.
Her swordplay was another matter altogether. She was swift, agile, and tough as nails, but at the same time, she left much to be desired. It was as though she riled you up only to shoot you down. He had a very sour taste in his mouth just thinking about it. Very unpleasant. Maybe a glass of water would help with that.

"He's in there. He's actually in there." Frozen outside the front door of the Orion, young Kenta found himself once again debating whether or not he should actually go inside the Orion. If he ever wished to get anything done though he knew it was inevitable for him to eventually stand face-to-face against the one person he resented more than all others. Oddly he had not actaully thought he would have to meet his future father to actually talk to him. Something was clearly wrong if he actually believed that.
"So I'll just be straightforward and get it over it. Tell him who I am, why I'm here, spare no emotion." He was breathing hard and his tail was twitching madly with frustration and hesitation. Every few steps (he was pacing now) his ears twitched as well, meaning he was completely on end. If there were any way to do this without actually doing it, he would accpet the idea with open arms. Pausing, he stared at the door again, trying to muster the courage to just push it open. Realizing that staring at a slab of wood wasn't making him braver, his ears pressed down on his head, feeling a pang of defeat before he shook off the feeling with renewed determination.
"He's not my father. Not yet. I can do this." Convincing himself that he wasn't just making it all up and that in some subtle way the person he wanted to speak to and the person he knew were two different individuals. Almost complete sure of this, he finally pushed the door open, which to him seemed to creak very loudly, though it likely didn't creak at all. When he was inside, after the door closed, three steps or so in, he eyed Keno silently, suddenly remembering that he actually had no nerve at all.

He paid the boy relatively no mind until he caught a rather intriguing scent off of him. How very familiar to Keno this boy smelled, as though the two shared some sort of bond that they had never really talked about, which was the only real bond they could have seeing as they had never talked with one another.
It must be his wandering nature, thought the tiger, as he recognized the smell of outside in general; trees mostly, but also grass, and even a few insects that lingered on plants and crawled on you when you were paying the least amount of attention. How odd, he thought to himself...those bugs always got on his nerves. Crawling all over like they owned the damn place...
Either way, he ignored the boy and continued with his water, which seemed oddly fascinating to him. It was good water.
