More standing around happened until another new face hurried inside of the gymnasium slash makeshift hospital. A tall dark haired boy that looked just as heroic as Asger. Maybe not so much, but still! He greeted the leader's younger sibling just as he recalled his wings to allow him to see the wounded sister. Danaë was asked about some kind of event that had transpired some time ago based on its vague description. Komaru gave the trio a worried look at her answer. "I suppose partial amnesia eez possible in zis kind of case." he began, his tone as androgynous as his appearance. "From the sound of it, she 'as taken a hard hit, no?" Of course it probably didn't help matters any but at least he had done more than just stand around like some sort of medical mannequin. He looked around, in a bit of an awkward situation, but continued to be there to support Asger and his sister. Even if it meant being "that guy."
Eventually his presence was noted by the most recent visitor to Danaë's room. He extended his hand out while introducing himself as Narx. A rather unusual name but who was he to label something as strange or weird? Komaru met his hand halfway and shook it, feeling the much larger hand almost swallow his. He was about to introduce himself but Asger had already beaten him to the punchline, and almost troublingly so. He blushed a deep shade of red at being introduced as a boy. "Y-Yes. I'm K-Komaru. E-Eet's a pleasure to meet you, M-Monsieur Narx...." It was an odd tick for him, but he found it easier to go with the notion that most people assumed that he was female at first. Of course it was lying straight to their face, but just something about being classified in the same group as these two despite possessing such feminine features made him feel a tad excluded. Maybe that contributed to his lifestyle but unless the school had a decent psychiatrist and three hours to burn, he would probably never know.
Komaru did let out a laugh (more akin to a giggle) at Asger's little slip up. So Narx was his little sister's boyfriend or something? He didn't exactly hide it very well if that was the case. Asger had the look of a protective family member and boy did it show. Even his sister seem affected, though Narx certainly didn't seem too troubled by it. "Ah-Anyway, it eez nice to meet you both. I apologize fair my attendance here but I wished to see if Asger's sister was alright. Which she appairs to be." he shot Danaë a smile and a small wave. "If you require privacy, ai can return to the Courtyard or begin to pack my bags away. Zere is not much an aspiring weapon-smith can do here but show zupport."

Narx's eyes met Asger's just as he almost said the B word. He shook his head as if to signal no and fortunately he stopped himself in the nick of time. Maybe. It was for the best not to inform her of that part. Hopefully that would either come back with time, or he would have to start over. He didn't know how that would go. Maybe she wouldn't like him this time around. He didn't know, but then he looked over and saw her face. Was that a blush? Maybe he did stand a chance. He wouldn't rush anything though. He might have to pursue her all over again. That was fine with him. When she covered her face in embarrassment his heart just melted. He had to catch himself and force a more dignified visage.
Narx would freeze for a long moment after Asger introduced his friend. His eyes blinked once. Twice, and then his head would tilt like a confused puppy in the direction of Maru. Narx stood up and walked over to Maru. He leaned in close and smelled Maru's shoulder. Didn't smell like a boy. Didn't look like a boy. He walked around Maru in a circle as if to inspect a pricely product. His face was that of concern and confusion. Maybe Asger had things wrong based on the name? Narx was confused by the matter, but it wasn't so uncommon with all the faunus around. Some faunus naturally looked more feminine than male, and vice versa. It must make things awkward every now and then. Not that Maru was a faunus from what he could tell. Narx shook Maru's hand firmly and extended a bright smile to boot."No need to worry, you can stay. I think you are right about the partial amnesia though.. and yes, Narx Hellhorns at your service!"He said cheerily, but his composure immediately seemed to rupture and he started to rub his temple with his right hand viciously. He had to hope that everything would be okay, but there was no telling until the next few days passed.
Narx eventually walked back over to Danaë. He placed a hand on her head. It was a bit warm, not feverishly, but like that of someone still healing from serious injury. He shot a glance at Asger. A glance of concern. They both shared it. It was nice to know someone who cared for her was there as well."Danaë..." He sighed."I will tell you soon, but we'll take it slow okay? One thing at a time. The biggest concern right now that you need to know is..." He choked on his own saliva. It was weird. He didn't feel like he should be so emotional. He wasn't even incredibly close to Donelly, but he was a friend nonetheless. "We are in a temporary medical facility within the gym. The gym was blown up and our team mate...Donelly..."He gulped. A tear ran down his face, but his expression was that of hatred. His eyes turned steel cold and his right hand moved to grab hers."He didn't make it..."His breathing suddenly got rough. His mind went to a dark place. He wanted nothing less than to eviscerate the tribe. Tear them into pieces one by one. Ravage their towns with fire and brimstone. He closed his eyes abruptly and tried to calm himself.
After a long moment he was at peace in mind and spirit. He breathed in one last time deeply and exhaled. His anger had gotten the better of him these last few days."Danaë... Richard is his replacement. He's pretty new still... but he works well with us so far."Narx gave her hand a soft squeeze and then turned his eyes to Asger and tilted his head towards the door to signal Asger to meet him outside. "Maru. Keep her company for a moment. "He walked out of the small tent and off a distance for Asger to follow. He wanted a word in private.

Ren had been carried away by Yui, fading in and out of consciousness as he was recovering from being both drunk, and the bed hitting his head. He was definitely heavier, but he's usually lighter than most due to his body's structure. He could barely hear Yui talking as she warned him about the landing being rough, and that if he held her, he needed his gloves, something he didn't have today. He nodded his head tiredly before she started to drop in the hallway, he could barely move before she dropped him from her grasp. He hit the floor and started a small roll as she hit the floor and rolled into the med bay before him. He stopped his own roll sitting straight up, his eyes appearing to be more of swirls as the doors to the gym remained opened while she told him something he could barely hear. He shook his head and winced as he began to crawl his way into the med bay. "Nurse, our bodies hurt." Ren slurred out tiredly as he was trying to do his best to recover.

Kail would walk towards teh gym. Her true aim was to go to the medical facility. The student that had been seriously injured in her class had woken up. She felt guilty about not knowing what to do with the two students in her class that had been injured. Adam was seemingly fine, but Danaë had not woken this entire time. She felt guilt. She had pushed the student to that point, for the sake of growing. Was growth more important than well being? At this point she wasn't sure, but she needed to concentrate if she wanted to get there without getting lost. 1000, 1001, 1002, the count in her head as she walked, finding the tent.
Then she smelled two scents that she was used to. One of Alcohol, the other of fire and Vanilla. Her tongue would flick out again. That had to be Yui. She would place down her cane as she got closer to her favorite student. She shouldn't have a favorite student, but she did, mostly because the girl showed promise for a lot of personal growth. She would reach around on the ground, gently touching to find her side. It took a few times, but she did. She would then lift up the girl. She realized how thin the girl seemed to be. Was it because of other things that she needed to be an avian faunus?
She would take her cane with her, until she found a bed. She would place Yui in the bed. Somehow she got Yui on her back, even though she missed the pillow. She would then reach above Yui's head and then go down until she felt the girl's hair. She would then try to part it, but she only ended up making it worse. Kail had no clue though, she was trying to be supportive, and caring for her student. She would then flick her tongue out, only to find that the smell of alcohol had walked away. Then the after smell of Vomit appeared. Oh, it was bad. She would just stay with Yui.
XXXMm... Nope. Nothing. The girl didn't even so much as stir as a friendly presence came to her aid. Where Ren went ahead like she asked him to, someone else had come to tend to her. An unconscious body being hoisted like a ragdoll with no response, and taken into the medical tents that she simply couldn't make it to on her own. From there, Kail seemed to tend to her so carefully within her restrictions. Managing to get her in bed, flipped and far more comfortable than she would've been on the ground. ... Then began to tend to her hair, trying to part it but only made more of a mess. Not that Yui was aware, she wasn't aware of anything that happened... Only that whatever this was, it was enveloping her with a calming presence. Her breaths were soft and gentle, sleeping ever so peacefully under the tender care of her dear professor. A soft smile had even curled at the ends of her lips, showing that Yui had truly entered a state of tranquility, even if for but a moment. "M..mom.." It seemed the girl wasn't a silent sleeper, as a soft word escaped her lips. The day had been a rollercoaster, and she just couldn't seem to keep up. Yet, all of the chaos and exhaustion, even the pain from her wreck. It didn't compare to the night prior, a night that began to creep into the poor girl's mind and caused a distressed stir. Where she once smiled, her lips curled down to express discomfort, eyebrows furrowing. An ever so meek but pained grunt escaped her lips as her body began to shift, scooting closer to Kail, but curling in an odd but mellow thrash. On the outside, her rest sounded mildly disturbed. The inside of her head was a different story.
"M..mom.. please.. d..don't..." At first seeming so innocent, the dark truth behind a simple mistell in her slumber would begin coming forth. In her mind, she found herself at in the study of the woman she both admired and feared the most. Lit solely by candlelight, she found herself at the mercy of a woman with not a shimmer in her eye. Dull hues looked at her daughter not a trace of emotion but locked with her in a trance to draw out Yui's own. 'It seems you've been treading along a thin path, haven't you?' The doors slammed shut behind her as the candlelights dimmed. Engulfed in darkness, Yui felt a tug on her arms that bound her in place, before a burning sensation began to surge from the center of her back. Lutrious lights would shine in the darkness, luminous waves of energy surging from the center of Yui's back as the same woman held a stone to the crest that marked her skin. 'If its 'freedom'you want, you must learn to keep yourself in check without my aid.' The words were spoken in such a heartless disposition while lustrious energy continuing to dance in rays of light throughout the darkened room. The gem began to glow brighter and brighter before the color dulled. 'I.. d..don't understand... mother...' The poor girl managed to force from her lips. The girl had felt so conflicted since she stepped away from the Lioncourt manner. With Lafalle and Garret, a new found team and meeting fellow classmates that needed her ... And a woman, though blind, seemed to understand her far more than anyone else. All these thoughts and feelings matched with new faces, they all became so much for her one track mind. 'Then I will make you understand. We'll start over, and begin with square one.' Frowning, the gem would surge with light before the radiating waves were met with an eruption of vivid blue flames that consumed Yui's own back. The same burning sensation increased dramatically, throwing the girl into agony. 'No! Make it stop, make it stop! It hurts! Mom! Mom.."
The tossing and turning became more and more violent. Breaths that were once calm and tranquil became that of panic and horror. If she hadn't already been so exhausted, she would surely have a dance of embers around her. Fingers gripped at the bed tightly, the false reality becoming too much to handle. "Make it stop... Mom! Please! Ahhh!" What was once a calm mistell in her slumber would turn into the paniced words of a waking girl. The girl's body would abruptly lunge up, only to force her back down with an intense surge of pain in her shoulder. The girl hissed as she fell back to the bed, trying desperately to fight back the tears from the dream she was having prior... Rapid breathes, dying adrenaline, it took Yui a few moments to realize that she wasn't in the hall anymore... No, instead she was in a bed without a Ren in sight. Slowly, she forced herself to sit up once again, though the dull pain in her shoulder tried to convince her otherwise. Frantically, she began looking around, wondering where she was and where her teammate went. Once her eyes fell on on someone sitting next to her, she would raise her functioning arm to work at parting the hair that was a near knotted mess over her face. That's when she saw the woman that sat beside her, feeling a sense of ease working its way to soothe her mental pain and fear... "P..professor Schuer...? What... What are you doing here? ... Where... Where are we, even?" Her sentence was broken apart in her heavy, but easing breathing. Yui remembered trying to get Ren to the medical tents, though crashed trying. ... Was this the place? Even if so, that didn't quite explain what Kail was doing here, with her of all people.".. Where did Ren go..?"

Noticing the color filling Maru's cheeks, the falcon hoped he hadn't messed up in I troducong him. He seemed to be falling short when it came to the social aspect of Beacon and it was only his first week here. He would hate to get off on the wrong foot with a member of his team already, so he made a mental not to address him about it and possibly apologize later. However, despite his own lack of knowledge, he could be certain Narx's reaction wasn't quite with in the realms of normal. Invading the poor guy's bubble, circling him, and even going as far as to sniff his shoulder. "Um... Narx... correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think its polite to sniff a person you've just met." He responded, blinking in surprise. His expression was something between amused and confused as he tossed another apologetic smile towards Maru. He appreciated Maru showing support by accompanying him. He just hoped that he didn't feel too out of place. After all, it was a bit of a personal situation and he didn't know anyone else here.
With introductions out of the way, it was time to face the more serious issues ahead of them. Danae's demeanor changed as she seemed to realize just how much she was missing. She seemed certain, ready, after her moment of hflustered hiding at his own blunder. Asger was hesitant, concern shadowing all other thoughts. A glance from Narx confirmed that he felt the same way. Nodding towards Danae at her concern, he turned his head towards Maru. Where Narx reassured him, Asger spoke to give him an option. He didn't want him to feel like he had to remain here if he was uncomfortable, but he didn't want him to feel like he had to leave either. "You're welcome to stay and listen or find Auburn and Reika and I'll be sure to find you all later. Either way, I appreciate you joining me all the same." Polite as ever, he offered him a small smile before making his way towards the side of Danae's bed. He wanted to be there for her as much as he could when Narx gave her this news.
It was clear it was a struggle even for Narx as he choked on his words. It was a heavy subject, even for Asger who had never met this Donnelly, he felt the weight of it on his shoulders. Death was a painful topic, and losing a life even of a stranger meant something. But for Danae, this must have been so much worse. After all, he had been a member on her team and from the look on Narx's face he could assume the death had been a gruesome one. Reaching out, he placed his hand on her shoulder and gave a gentle squeeze. "I'm sorry Danae." There still was a part of him that felt he should have been here. He should have been here and he should have been able to do something. But even if he had been... would he have been able to prevent it? He hadn't stopped Danae from falling... so would this have been any different. Always hesitating, always a second too late... he was useless.
It felt wrong to leave Danae alone after beating such awful news to her. However. He knew that Narx would not ask such a thing if it was not important. He hesitated, letting out a heavy sigh. After a moment he dropped his hand from her shoulder and took a step backwards to ward the entrance to the tent. "We'll be right back." Turning sapphire eyes to Maru, he gave him an appreciative nod. "Thank you again. We'll be quick." With that, he turned on his heel and followed Narx out the flaps of the tent and followed him through the maze of medical equipment. He came to stop just a few steps in front of him. He was silent, gaze stoic as he awaited patiently for Narx to say something. Patient as he could be at least; he was still anxious. He couldn't help a glance towards Danae's tent every now and then.

Ren could barely react when he heard something other than the nurse and Yui calling for her mother and something to stop. He wanted to say something but then she showed up, the snake lady who could hurt anyone she damn well pleased in his books. He was in a shocked state at how easily she slithered in to check on someone and to just pick up Yui. Then Yui slowly asked about Ren as he was picked up by a couple of nurses in full-protective clothing as they did know about his semblance. They carried him to a bed to check on injuries and the obvious impurity of being intoxicated. Ren struggled to say something until he was stung by a simple needle for the nurse to take a small blood sample. "Ow!" He squeaked in response before he covered his mouth as the nurses frowned at his reaction. It wasn't long till they determined that the most damage he took... was just blunt force all over his body, yet his aura held tough and was healing him. "A good night's rest should do ya some good." One of the nurse's told him as he frowned, but he should be fine as he looked to Yui. He was about to say something till his cheeks puffed up and he leaned over into a bucket a nurse had provided, puking once more.

Danaë watched as everyone was saying that she had partial Amenisa. Which meant that she possibly didn't get the scar on her face from the explosion. It must have had to do with that crazy snake lady that Narx had talked about earlier. She wanted to know what she was missing, without stops. Then the person that was with Asger had mentioned her taking a hard hit. She would teach up to the scar on her face, trying to find something wrong with the bone, anything at all. Not finding anything, she would put her hand down.
Narx then would then place a hand on her head. He seemed so familiar with her, and she so foreign with him. It wasn't fair. She wanted to remember the stuff that she missed. She wanted to know why he was so familiar with her. Had they actually gotten together? It was all a blank, a black spot that she couldn't move past. He told her that they would move slowly with telling her things. As much as she wanted to know everything she missed, she knew that it was probably for the better that they take it slow. She didn't like when Narx started to choke on his own saliva. That wasn't a good sign. When Narx talked, he always talked with confidence.
He then told her that the gym had blown up , and that Donelly hadn't made it. Flashes appeared in front of her face. Her Aura had been depleted as she had saved Donelly. She was chasing after Narx, as he had threatened Lunestra, a woman that they had been on the mission with. She went to follow him, to ask him if he was ok, then the Bomb went off, throwing shrapnel into her back. She had passed out from pain, then Tessa lifted her away, trying to get help, then they met a man with blue hair, that Tessa tried to attack, when all he wanted to do was help. It then cut off. She didn't get the man's name, or anything, she just got the information that was there.
When she came back to, Narx was holding her hand, and Asger had a hand on her shoulder. Narx squeezed her hand, saying that Richard was Donelly's replacement. She was sad, but she wasn't crying. It felt like she had cried all the tears she could for him. However, she wanted to see if her back was riddled with scars on it. He let go of her hand, and he went towards the edge of the tent. He was leaving, and taking Asger with him. She was sad to see them both go, which once they were out of the room, she would reach for her back, finding divots in them, as if something had pierced her back, and left a scar. She even felt something hard in it. They hadn't taken the debris out? Danae looked very confused, as Maru would be the only one that would see it.
Narx's reaction to learning about Maru's true gender was quite puzzling, to say the very least. The boy got closer to him and looked to be doing an all around inspection like he was a soldier or something. Narx might even be surprised by a hint of perfume that Komaru wore. It wasn't overbearing but just the right touch to throw off any suspicions. Komaru just allowed himself to be inspected while Asger shot him a look during this entire time. Maru would still keep that blush on his face. It wasn't exactly all bad, being looked at by a guy this way. He wasn't going to make any moves considering the environment but Narx was pretty adorable.
"Um... Narx... correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think its polite to sniff a person you've just met."
"H-Ah, it is okai, Asger." Maru responded and shook the man's hand. Thankfully for him, he would be allowed to stay if he so wished. While their team mate was still most likely at the court yard, he still felt it would be incredibly rude and awkward to just get up and go all of a suddenly. Plus he wanted to make sure that Asger's sister would be in good health before they left. The next order of business for the two of them was to explain had had happened during the time when she was unable to recall much about the incident that got her thrown in her to begin with. They had lost a member of their team which stung all three of them still. Maru could only offer his condolences in the form of a concerned frown. Upon seeing the tear, Komaru put both hands on Asger's and Narx's shoulders. A gentle squeeze came from him as the two continued on about their newest member. Narx soon pulled her brother outside after.
"Maru. Keep her company for a moment."
"Oui." Komaru replied, watching as the two of them leave before then spinning around at Danaë. "Ai am sorry about what 'appened to your comrade, Madame Danaë. I am sure he fought valiantly." Maru gave another smile to her as she would squirm a bit on the bed, as if she was trying to reach something. Not wanting her to try and exert herself if she didn't have all of her strength, Komaru went to try and talk her out of it. "Be careful, Madame Danaë. You wouldn't want to push yourzelf too 'ard."

Narx stared blank faced back at Asger about his comment on sniffing others."I don't know, but that does sound like a thing. I'm not from here so I'm not sure of what all is considered good when it comes to the local behaviors."He said with an awkward tilt of his head. Maru said it was okay and that was good enough for him at that point. His eyes turned back to Danaë. He could see her face lighting up with memories. That was a good sign. A very good sign.
Narx and Asger were now outside of the tent a fair distance away. He could see Asger's desire to get back which he felt as well, but this was important."Danaë..." He said with a somber tone."Let's not tell her about our relationship... I don't want her to be overwhelmed yet, and I'd rather her decide to date me herself again rather than feeling like she had to because we were. If that makes sense? I just don't want things to be weird. Other then that we will slowly let her know everything. A day at a time will do I think. Do you agree?" He was sad that there relationship wasn't really a thing right now, but he wouldn't be able to live with himself if she felt forced into a relationship she had no recollection of. It was only appropriate he thought and he wanted Asger on his side. "Also, I think one of us should always be close by. At least for a while. Brain injuries can cause weird side effects and we want to make sure she doesn't get hurt while she heals. She can fly, I can't. You will have to be with her if she ever decides to fly for the next few weeks I think. Just to be safe."He paced in a circle now. His anxious energy needed an escape."Other than that I think all should be good. She seemed to have some memories come back in a flash so I hope we can just reset everything and begin anew."Narx would wait to hear what Asger would say before returning to the tent.
On the way to the tent a lion faunus doctor would stop both Narx and Asger. "Asger! You are Danaë's relative yes?"He was holding a notepad and had two nurses behind him.On the x-ray we found some shrapnel and we need permission from one of her relatives to perform the operation. We'd like to remove all that we can and hopefully restore some mobility. Please let us know if you'd like for this to happen. The doctor would pat Asger and Narx on the shoulders and walk off. The nurses followed suit.
"Danaë... shrapnel?"Narx said curiously. He knew she had an injury on her side, but didn't know about any shrapnel. How stupid was he. It must have been from the explosion a long time back. He was a moron. "Let's check on her. I think she has enough cognitive power to make her own mind about this right?"He walked straight back to the tent and held the flap open for Asger. He would have to be the one to talk to her about it since he was the relative with the power to make the operation happen. Narx smiled happily when he saw Danaë. She was so cute sitting on the big hospital bed by herself. It would be nice to get out of here though.

Narx's words gained him a bit more of respect from Asger. Honestly, he didn't know the guy well and they had gotten off to a bit of a rocky start, but he always seemed to have his sister's best interest in mind and that's all that really mattered to Asger. Truly, what more could he ask for? Once again, he found himself immensely thankful that Narx had been there for his sister while he hadn't been able to. The falcon was grateful they had found each other. "Honestly, that's very considerate of you and I agree completely. She's going to have enough surprises as it is... no need to make it worse for her. It's something you can always discuss with her later, once she has remember or once you have found your way back together, but I will leave that between the two of you."He had very nearly made a dire mistake, but he by no means had any desire to bud his way into his sister's relationship. As far as he was concerned, as long as Narx treated her right there was no reason for him to. That was their own private business. "Until she remembers, if she ever does, we'll just take it one day at a time. That seems to be the best option." Overwhelming her with all of that information all at once wouldn't be good for her mental or emotional health. It was best to take it slow and maybe if they were lucky, something would trigger some more of her memories to return. Only time would tell.
"I also think I should wait to tell her about what happened in my absence... I owe her an explanation, but... I want to wait until I'm sure she can handle it." In the wake of current events and the fragile stat of her mind, it was just another thing that could overwhelm her. He had done enough damage as it was. This could wait, but there was just one more thing weighing on his mind. Something he had been meaning to say, but hadn't gotten the chance in all of the chaos. "I was supposed to be here when Danae started, a year ahead of her... I should have been here for everything... and trust me, I would have if I could have... but thank you, Narx. For taking care of her when I couldn't." A faint smile touched his lips, blue eyes shining with a genuine sincerity. It lasted but a moment before his gaze darted back to the tent and they were onto the next subject. "Once again, I agree. She shouldn't be left alone. I'll be with her as often as I can... especially under those circumstances.If I'm ever not around and you need me to take over... I'm just a message away." He had just been assigned to a team, but they would just have to understand. He would do his best to be there for his team, but his sister needed him and he would not leave her to handle the tragedies of life on her own. Not ever again.
They were nearing the end of their discussion when a doctor approached them. The news was unsettling to say the least. The shrapnel should have been taken out months ago after the explosion, right? Why the hell was it still in there? Concern crossed his expression as he returned his attention to Narx, nodding at the guy. "I don't see why not. I think she deserves to have a say." Following Narx back into the tent, he approached the foot of his sister's bed, once again giving Maru an appreciative smile. It seemed he had dragged the poor soul into quite the precarious situation. She seemed to be trying to reach for something on her back, but Asger couldn't quite see what it was. He could only assume it was the shrapnel... but wasn't that painful? Wouldn't someone had noticed by now? Sighing softly, he would meet Danae's gaze, sapphire eyes full of concern and confusion. "Danae... a doctor approached us out in the hall. He informed us that there is still some shrapnel in your back from the explosion and he needs my consent to go forward with the operation to remove... but it's your body and I think you should have say in what happens." It only seemed fair. He would like to say he would never force her to do anything she wasn't okay with, and while that was mostly true, in the case of life or death, he might just push a little.

Kail would continue to try to part Yui's hair as she rested. She could feel a knot that she had accidentally made. This is why she carefully brushed out her own hair, even though with the waves it didn't look like it. It was hard getting ready as a blind person, and most people didn't realize it. She didn't get help, if something wasn't in place, then it was lost.
Then the words happened...."M..mom.. please.. d..don't..." Her fears about Yui's mother were confirmed in her mind. Her blood ran could, as an ugly face appeared. This woman had not only forced this fire into a box, but then also would slash water on it, only enough to harm it, not to kill it. She knew Yui was barely holding onto her tinder. If she had to, she would fight this woman. To the bitter end, all for the little ember that she had found. She wouldn't think twice about it either. She would pull out her scroll, holding Yui's hand, navigating through it to the office. She was taking away her mother's permission to talk to this poor child. She would then tell it to shut down.
Her pained cries broke Kail's heart. Tears rolled down her face, Kail gently wiping them away. She had to protect this ember, with her life. No one deserved to be treated like that. She had been tortured to the point that she couldn't even escape her mother in her dreams. She then would hear Yui jolt up. She heard her name called. She would try to smile, but how could you smile when your heart was hurting for someone else? She had never seen a smile.
"My dear, I smelled you outside the tents. I tried my best to get you into bed and comfort you." Then she asked where Ren was. That is when they both would hear him hurling. "By the smell, that way." She would point towards the direction of Ren, but she was far off from where he was. Once again, showing how blind she was.
Danaë heard Maru speaking. Saying that he must have fought to the bitter end. That was far from the truth though. None of them even thought that there was a possibility that there was a bomb. She covered her face as tears began to flow from her eyes. In a soft whisper, "We were all hurt, none of us fought...none of us expected it." She didn't want to show her face, she was a very private person. She didn't want people to see her breaking down.
Narx and Asger returned. She didn't look up at them, keeping her face covered in her hands, trying to hide that fact that she was now crying. She couldn't lock it in for some reason, it just kept coming forward, as if the floodgates had opened, and could not be shut. They asked her about the shrapnel in her back. She didn't know if she could respond and show that she was ok. Then her Semblence would shut down, sending a gasp through her mouth. Giving away that she was crying. She needed to be alone. She needed to process everything. If any hands came to comfort her, she would push them away.
"We were all hurt, none of us fought...none of us expected it."
Well so much for that road of thought. Maru froze up in embarrassment at his incorrect little slip of tongue. Of course he got something wrong and not only got something in correct but also managed to make him want to curl up into a ball and die. "Ai am zo zo zo zo ZO sorry, Madame Danae!" Maru wanted to walked over, beg for her to beat him to a pulp, strangle him until he stopped breathing. Anything to really save him from this awkward pause as she cried to herself at the loss of a team mate. Maru stood there, a bit hesitant to really offer much aid outside of a gently shoulder pat, which was pushed away. "Ai am such an idiot zumtimes." He murmured to himself just as her friends came back in.
Komaru remained silent and stood away from the group so that Narx and Asger would have a better seat for what was happening. A doctor came by and informed the group that there was still the shrapnel and things that could be taken out. When asked for her permission, Danae only really seemed to be content with sulking to herself. Komaru shot Asgar and Narx an apologetic glance and kept his head down out of shame.
After the incident in class, Richard did feel bad about what happened. It was a shame, but Danae managed to get herself hurt. Like if it was something small, it really wouldn't of effected him too much. Yet she managed to get herself hospitalized for attempting to fly in class. It appeared she had a lot to learn and hopefully the experience was enlightening for her. Still seeing a comrade hurt like that was never fun.
Entering the gym, Richard brought with him a small bouquet of flowers. It was something he managed to pick out while out training. They were a random assortment of wild flowers, nothing fancy. After all he didn't have the funds for getting a professional bouquet as they were expensive as all heck. Still he hoped that the gesture would of been nice considering the circumstances. Somehow he found his way to the place where his teammate was. Upon entering, he noticed three people. Narx, Asgar, and some other person he didn't recognize. Danae was awake, balling her eyes out. Something didn't seem right. "Wait...whats going on here...Is Danae alright?" He would ask not knowing the information that had been shared. His hand with the recovery bouquet kept low at his side seeing as there was something bigger happening.
