Suddenly, Helmut was alone.
"…Hello?" She called into the darkness, ears lowered so far they disappeared into her fluffy hair. When nobody answered her, she took in a deep breath to prepare for an impressive yell for help -
Instead, it turned into a horrified scream as a spotlight clicked to life, illuminating herself, only in a very, very strange outfit. Oh, wait, that wasn't her, because she was over here, not over there, but then why…?
The her in the polka dot outfit attacked, and the little Wendigo screamed and dove to the side. Her doppleganger hit a wall, and all she managed to do was scrape a knee.

"There can be only one star of this show," Piper stated as she went on the offense, oblivious to how corny it sounded. Did it really matter in the end when it was just herself and some thing she was going to beat anyway? There weren't secret cameras or something, right? It got back up, so Helmut did too. When it whirled on her she was mostly prepared for it - in that she wasn't at all - and ducked under the Christmas Nightmare's claws by sheer luck. Somehow, in the scuffle, she managed to kick the thing in the shins hard enough to make it yelp.
It was a frighteningly familiar yelp, and she didn't like it one bit.

Seriously, this thing put the past clones to shame. She remembered beating her previous one just fine. Jackin' hell, was it just that she had gotten too used to winning that she had started to slack? Or was this really an opponent worthy of her amazing skills?

It was starting to tire and grow sloppy. and she took advantage. The volleys were smaller in rounds but faster in velocity, and pelting her clone seemed to do the trick. Piper couldn't help but giggle when some of its hair even caught on fire. And that was mildly sacrilege, given how much the ghoul loved her hair.

Helmut's double didn't stumble as far as she would have liked, and before she knew it, it had grabbed onto her shoulders and lowered it's head in an attempt to ram her with it's horns. All she could do was grab onto cold arms, dig her claws in, and try to push back.

Still, the thing was tenacious, she had to give it that. But truly its end began when it thought the best way to distract her was to begin singing Christmas Carols, offkey and shrieking in the darkness around them. To a degree, it was correct: it did mess with her a little. But it her angry a whole lot more, and that was where it had made a fatal mistake--for no-one should butcher music like that for evil purposes in front of her.
Piper took great pleasure in eradicating her clone once and for all, a flurry of fireballs its final undoing. It almost looked a little like fireworks for her victory, and she even took the time to pose. Who knew who was watching, right? Maybe a little show presence would get her extra points.
"And that, ladies and gentlemen," she said with a grin, pulling her cannon jug up to blow smoke off it, "is how you do it~!"
