Sayael hadn't fought at all, and it was really wearing her down - sugar faeries weren't meant much for fighting anyway, but she still felt that she shouldn't have been failing this much.

Piper was still riding the high of her fabulous performances with the carollers earlier, all grins and bouncing hair as she waited for the final challenge of the House Cup. Most of her time was spent, rather than prepping for the actual battle itself, just fixing herself back up. It was hard to keep up appearances as gorgeous as hers after all, what with the outfit changes between Reaper contestant and Brenley's lab assistant. What would be the appropriate theme for the final battle, then?
Battle Princess? Battle Princess.
Decked with a risque touch of glitter about her eyes and fierce eyeshadow, the ghoul was ready to take on any opponent these silly Christmas people wanted to throw at her. And what was the worst thing they could think to bring out? Herself, of course. Well, some props for that, even though she cringed at the very thought of being caught dead in that ugly sweater. Fashion faux pas much? Gross.

She couldn't give up.Screeching again, she raked her nails once more at the thing, getting it by the arm, the leg - wherever she could reach, she did damage, making it back up and sway, its form seeming fuzzy on the edges. Of course, she was fuzzy too - she was barely holding on by the fringes of her anger, eyes blazing in fury. She wasn't done yet. Not by a long shot.

With one final strike that was ridiculously effective, Deacon's doppelganger vanished in a puff of black mist. That part honestly startled him more than any of the battle itself.
Very much done, Deacon padded angrily to the stairs as quickly as his aching body would let him.

Oh Jack, what was she doing? She had totally battled clones of herself before--heck, her recent test to become a third year was centered all around it at the climax! This was going to be a piece of cake--an ugly cake at that.
"You think you so fly with that on?" she taunted it as she readied her cannon. "You'd break any and every mirror you see, boo!"
Unlike the other clones before, however, this Christmas styled one was pretty quick on its feet. It dodged her giant fireball and landed a flurry of its own, to Piper's surprise. Well, then again, if she was easy to beat, she would have been pretty upset. So in a way, this was a strange compliment?
