Feeling herself getting pushed off her side, she moved so that she was laying on her back, her head resting against one armrest of the sofa. Her eyes were still allowing tears to fall but soon, the relaxing movements of Red were beginning to slowly calm her down. With her eyes drooping lazily, her breathing began to fall back into a peaceful rhythm. It helped even more when Valin decided to assist as well, bringing her even more safety within herself.
Soon she was clear of tears, merely gazing at everyone in the room with a rather pained expression on her face. She didn't want them to know what she had remembered, what she had dreamed up once more. She had thought she had pushed the memories away-
-Somebody help, somebody help my mommy-
-But it seemed they had come back with a vengeance. Looking from Red to Valin and then to Kythe and one other man whom she didn't know. She wasn't sure how to explain herself or where to start.
"I.. umm.. uhhh.."
She couldn't put the words together, it was too difficult for her. Instead, she pursed her lips together and let her gaze wander back to the ceiling, figuring she may as well keep silent this time.

You don't have to say anything.
"One of you boys make yourself useful and get me a towel damp with cool water." She was now stroking the young lady, but her eyes nonetheless said nothing. Not concern or affection, but merely a recognition; the recognition that this blue haired girl needed something and someone. That was all she could really say. It was almost all she could afford to say.
She wanted to ask who the mother was, but decided that was more than she had any real right to know. All she did then was stroke the child's head from the bottom of her forehead to the top of her head as she continued to calm her down.
"Sorry about the other day," she addressed Valin again, her hands working in small circle's on the kitsune's abdominal region now, soon to move down her legs to her feet. It was a small gesture, but relaxing nonetheless. In times like this, all Red would want is for her lover to hug her, hold her, and rock her slowly into a calm resolve as though she were an 8 month old babe. Despite it all, that was a line she wasn't crossing for anyone else. Even in this situation all she could think of was the difference between her and everyone else.

"I, uh, I'm the one who, uh, should be sorry," Well, that didn't come out about as smooth as normal. Valin stumbled upon his words like he had just learned how to speak English a few days ago. He felt silly and stupid. Red probably thought less of him now then ever. Or she just didn't care at all. Whatever! He thought, That's not the problem now!.
He didn't wait for a reply from Red and just said, "Right. So I'm sorry. And I'm going to get some of that water and a towel now." He rose up quickly, walking with a quick pace over to the bar area where he grabbed a hand towerl, running it under the facet's cold water, and just as quickly brought it back - handing it to Red for her to use.

-// I was about to go get that towel. rofl But, 's all good. Hi, by the way. ::Waves to Jade:: //-
Taking his cue, Kythe removes himself from the wall of the lounge, aiming to exit through the curtains. As he nears the curtains, he's beat to the punch by a briskly moving man, who's just blurted a few things out towards the red-haired woman.
Kythe then twists backwards, returning to his spot, and re-establishing his watch. Glad that Miyuki is mostly calm now, Kythe forces down some unwanted memories of his own, though showing no physical sign of doing so. He remains silent, taking in the situation with his senses.

-// I'd momentarily forgotten the whole timezone thing. It's 7:30-ish here. ::Waves to Abyssmal Darc, also:: Hey there, I think I've seen you 'round Orion before. Not IC-ly, though. Nice dancing. Hiya, Jade. Nice to see you're doing well. As for the plush... well, that dragon that was here with me last time sort of took it as a chew toy. //-

He began to shift uncomfortably. Too many people. He grunted almost inaudibly to himself and slid out from the lounge and headed to the entrance. It would both make him more comfortable and undoubtedly make the young blue haired fox more at ease, knowing that a complete stranger wasn't watching her while she was a total mess. He moved to a vacant padded bench and sat down smoothly. His cloak hung further over his face as he dipped his head to stare at the wood ground. He shook his head. What was he doing here? If Dalquis was here, what did he hope to accomplish? The man would probably be pissed at him for leaving him to die. Well, in reality, he hadn't left him to die at all. He'd actually tried to get him to escape. It wouldn't matter. But he was rather weary from his travels. He supposed he would just see what was going on anyway. He leaned back against the bench and stared ahead of him.
What was wrong with that girl in there? Who were those other men? Superaturally inclined, he could tell. Their presence at this place was interesting. All of them had something unique about them. The foxes appearances weren't the only things special about them. Each one in that room had secrets. Abilities. Whatever they called them, they had them. He hadn't seen many people on this planet that were unnatural. This was new to him, but not at all surprising. After all, he had come from Ehrgis. Plenty of other supernaturally inclined beings could have traveled here as well. He drew in a long breath and exhaled through his nose, shutting his eyes. Though it was chaotic in the other room, he was very calmed by this place. Strange...

Feeling herself calm down a considerable amount, she barely heard anything that the others said around her. Instead, she could only gaze upward at the ceiling again, not saying anything as Red had suggested. She didn't have to say anything now. She was thankful for that.
And as much as she didn't want to be..
She was a bit tired at this point. Just the strain and stress from such a vivid memory laced in her nightmare was beginning to take its toll on her, at least mentally. And it seemed her body decided to keep up with her as well.
Glancing over at Red and the others in the room, she let a small smile appear on her lips.
"Arigatou.."
And without warning, her eyes were closed and she had fallen into, hopefully, a dreamless slumber.
|| Aaaaaand I'm done. I'm too tired to keep going. ||
