::The smile slowly fades as Kythe speaks, gradually becoming the puckered-lip expression again. The one you get you're trying vainly to hide the fact that you have no clue about something you know you should. His red eyes squeeze into little slits behind his glasses as he strains to dig 'Kythe' out of his memory. After a few moments, Deity opens his mouth into an 'o', lifting his head a little. It's.....not coming to him.
The Orininan kills his nod prematurely, dropping his head and giving it a light shake. 'Kythe' rings no bells. His memory is like a sieve - he had to completely rememorize the spells for his Seinorei blade, as he was unable to use them for more than a year while trapped in his devil form. He'd forget his own name if he didn't speak the way he does. Well, maybe not.
Still keeping his thoughts in his head, Deity lets out only a soft, nervous giggle, knowing how it must feel to be totally forgotten. He's sure this guy is a decent fellow - otherwise he would not have greeted the tall boy so politely.::

Wish a small sigh--not of discontent, humor, or any other emotion, but just a sigh--Kythe closes his eyes, turning his head downward for a moment. He then allows himself a small chuckle, as the series of facial expressions Deity has just made replays in his mind's eye. Looking up, he strolls towards Deity's side of the room, circumventing various tables and chairs.
"In that case, I guess it's only proper that we start from the beginning." Kythe stops, about three feet from Deity, and, folding his right forearm over his waist, he bows lightly, retraining his eyes on Deity as he rises. Then, re-stating a bit of what he's already said:
"My name's Kythe, title Shianken. Pleased to meet you."

::Finding this situation a bit more amusing than not, the smile lingers on Deity's fade a moment longer. Not so surprisingly, this isn't a new occurrence. The quiet Tonepian winds up forgetting quite a few people, even old friends - he only realizes this when said past acquaintances are brought up in conversation with someone else. He's not so much used to someone who has left his memory span returning and speaking to him again. It's a little awkward.
Shaking himself from his thought-induced stupor, the boy blinks a few times, hands remaining in his pockets as he bows along with Kythe, eyes up toward his 'new' friend. If they truly did have a spar, and Kythe remembered Deity from just that, he will have to get this one into the ring at some point or another. That thought aside, he was going to check the remaining stock of water, but a passing glance from a few minutes prior showed him that they're running low. He'll need to head back upstairs and get ready to leave. Besides, Jade may want to come along, if she isn't asleep already. She's always been fond of Orion. Especially for shopping.
Clearing his throat and standing up straight once more, Deity gives Kythe a close-lipped smile. Now with a need to talk, he does so, speaking words as soft as a whisper.::
....Deity has to be going. Stop by again...?
::Nodding into a shallow bow, his left hand slips deeper into his pocket as he turns and heads once again for the central elevator shaft. The jingle of his keys can be heard again as he moves across the floor, hair drying nicely by now, though still appearing unruly and tousled. Without another glance to anything else in the room, the club owner takes a right turn, the doors to the chamber opening on their own. As they close, only a few seconds pass before the pod hovers up to the twentieth floor once again. Strange night, this one has been.::

To Deity's soft-spoken suggestion, Kythe nods softly. As Deity makes his departure, Kythe's small smile dissappears, and he looks after him a bit, before turning towards the entrance.
He forgot, but... Kythe would easily believe that he'd simply forgotten--they've met once, and not for a long period of time--but it seems like there's... something more to the story. Not like he's simply forgotten, but that something has occured to make him forget. He ponders, strolling towards the front doors.
Or, perhaps, he just has a selective memory. Or... Kythe's thoughts momentarily flash on his unwelcome second soul, remembering something he rathers not to. ... maybe it was altered.
Kythe might worry for the man, but he hasn't any real relationship with him. Even so, anything that happened to his memory couldn't be too major--he can still walk, remembers his own name, his way around the Club--he hadn't been looking around in astonishment, wondering what planet he was on. 'sides, from all Kythe can tell through his actions in Orion tonight and their previous encounter, the man can damn sure take care of himself. Nearing the main entrance and exit, Kythe pauses, deciding to do something he hasn't done in quite a while:
"Goodnight, Club Orion," he says, lightly smiling again, and resumes his stroll, appearing to simply phase through the double-doors.

(Perhaps. I had my last exam earlier today. So, I got out of school at lunchtime. God, now I need to make a move list and make sure everything is put up..cause...gawd forbid. -scuttles off-)
