"No no! Chrissy doesn't want people to see her like this...she wants to forget what she was made for..."
Body shaking slightly, she shook her head. They were so lucky. Both Xaith and Valin. Xaith-san was content with his fox-like appendages, and Valin...Valin didn't even have a real arm and he was happy! While she..all she had were two unnoticeable horns on the top of her head, but she couldn't stand to have anyone even look at them. They brought back such horrible memories for her. The reaosn she was created resided within those cream-colored horns. She had a right to loathe them! However, Christiania's peaked open just enough to see Valin's technologically advanced arm which was enough to shut her up. The diclonius released her death-grip on her horns, allowing her hands to fall limply into her lap that was until the Jedi held out his arm as if inviting her to investigate.
With hesitation, the diclonius reached out and began trailing her long, delicate fingers along every inch of that limb. One could even assume she was blind the way her hands excavated the entire arm. When she was finished, Christiania was no longer upset, but rather ashamed at the way she always reacted when her ribbons came out. The diclonius allowed her arms to fall back into her lap while both eyes were stuck on the rounded bar. Everyone was so nice here. Perhaps Keno-san was right about her needing to be there. As she thought about this, she listened to Xaith's words, and allowed him to touch her. He was the first one to actually lay a hand on her since Keno-san, and she liked it.
The touch made her melt on the inside. No one normally touched her. She was "too fragile" for any sort of contact. However, the lack of comfort had left her so anti-social she just couldn't deal with the idea of people hating her. Anything that made her different from another was a horrible curse. She did not wish to be different. She just desired friends and to be liked by others. Muscles, her muscles, were beginning to relax under his touch, but she nearly cried out when he pulled away. Christiania wanted a hug. There was a need for affection in any mannor possible. Any she could recieve would be a blessing to her. Keno had been the only one who had actually risked his life to give her a hug. In the institute, the only comfort she recieved was getting praised for doing what she was told. Chrissy couldn't recall a time when they even touched her.
"C-Cute?"
Her cheeks flared at the compliment, and now she was happy he wasn't touching her anymore. A hand lifted, grazing over her heated cheeks as if allowing her brain to register the fact that she was blushing quite badly. Locks of her turqoise hair fell infront of her face when she lowered her head in a bow of gratitude for both of them. They showed Christiania that she could be liked even with the horns. It would just be...difficult to live with for the time being. Chrissy still had a long way to go before she accepted what she was, and this she knew. Hopefully those two would stick around to help her out. After all Keno-san can't always take care of her.
EDIT:
Her eyes fell upon the young female who seemed to be inquiring of them. She tilted her head slightly, gnawing on her bottom lip habitually. There was a need for assistance lingeirng in her aura, and Christiania would help her if needed. The diclonius swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat, and she smiled. The knapsack, which had been residing on the bar's surface, shapeshifted back into her staff. The two foot oak staff levitated by her side until the diclonius took hold of it with her left hand. The orb was dimmed and lifeless, but that would soon change if her help was requested. Christiania watched the girl with a hopeful, yet expectant gaze. What was wrong anyway?
