Tac dropped his finger back into his unharmed hand and went back to trying to stick it back on. He grumbled to himself, looking to the finger but speaking to the girl, "You wouldn't happen to have any superglue, would you?"

Hotaru reached into her pocket and pulled out a little bottle of super glue then tossed it at him. Why did she had superglue? Who knows.

He looked at his father's skull and sighed. Yeah...it was kind of odd. Maybe even 'fightful' as Christiania had put it. He had actually gone quite some time without carrying his father around with him. It was just kind of his norm every time he went on his monthly training session. He was letting go, no doubt. He would always love his father, but he was finally growing up.

"Yeah...Kind of my guilty motivation. And a reminder."

His voice faded into a sort of meloncholy tone, though his face was still happy. He was used to it at this point. Talking about his father wasn't his favorite thing to do, but it would no longer affect him that bad.

He had come home from his monthly training session as his father always had him do. He walked back from the forest and into the large feild where he and his father lived to find a large dragon laying in the feild, pieces of flesh stripped to the bone. Xaith had never seen his father transformed, but he knew. Of course, Xaith knew that this dragon was not his birth father. A dragon wouldn't father a fox. Xaith had been abandoned a week after birth. Xaith ran to his wounded father. The boy cried for his father to get up, but the massive dragon wouldn't move. Xaith's father died a few minutes later.

Xaith shook his head out of his memories and smiled at the girl. She had complimented his appendages. He turned his body slightly to his left and waved his tail to rub against her arm lightly.

"Yeah, I like 'em, too. They kinda used to make me self-conscious, but they help out alot."

"A reminder?"

Her smile faded as his aura drooped a bit in the cheery department. Discussing his father bothered him quite a lot, and it made Christiaina's heart tear just hearing him alk about him. She wasn't one to pursue a matter if it wasn't a desired conversation. Sometimes she would forget about her mroals to dig deeper into someone's history. Her couriousity did get the better of her sometimes just as it did to anyone else. Perhaps a bit worse for her however. She lowered her head, paying respects for even bringing up her shock about his Daddy, before tearing her gaze off the floor and back up to him. His tail made her giggle innocently, and like a child, she took it between her fingers and admired the appendage. It was silky and soft against her fingers and arm. Oh, how she wanted one so badly. Chrissy nuzzled into the furry limb affectionately until she heard Xaith speak again. Self-conscious? She blinked, looking up at him with an understanding expression. Yes, she knew exactly what it meant to be self-conscious. She was the epidemy of self-conscious. Her own appendages were a curse more then they were fun. She envied Xaith for having a tail, while she had those stupid...things on her head.

"Self-conscious....? I-I know h-how that is, Xaith-san.."

The ribbons in her hair were desperately hanging on by now, and it was clear now what she had been hiding. Two cream-colored horns were perched on top of her skull. One was a bit shorter than the other, but no one would guess that her Daddy had cut it off when she ran away. The tip were rounded and were not eerie enough to be considered apart of a demon. One of the black ribbons fell into her lap when she turned her head to look over at the Jedi, and her eyes widened in fear and surprise. They..they could see them! Oh how embarassing!! Chrissy whined, gripping both her horns in each of her hands, shaking her head furiously. Her hair fell from the braids from her moving so vigorously, leaving long, wavy locks brushing against her bare back and Xaith. The tresses of hair seemed to stay obediently down and not fly in different direction. Still, it was obvious Christiania did not enjoy showing her horns to others.

"So embarassing! Oh bad Chrissy! Bad, bad bad!"

She muttered angrily with ehr eyes shut tight. What would they think of her now? She was a freak! Simple as that. The institute had wanted her dead all those years ago. What if they were with the institute, or knew of the diclonius? Christiania whined unhappily, her grip on those horns tightened significantly. Oh how bad she was. She should have been more careful! The diclonius continued muttered incoherent words that only seemed to make her feel worse about the ribbons falling off. She had completely forgot about both of them now, not responding to either of the rest of their statements. She was fixed on putting herself down now, and all the horrible things they were going to do to her now that they found out she was a diclonius. Oh no. This was really, really bad.

"Christiania," Valin said softly, "I have seen hundreds upon hundreds of different races and species in my life. Most don't even look anything close to humankind. Trust me," He said with a smile, "You're among the more pretty of them."

Such anxeity over something so silly. She was a bundle of nervousness and fear. He had an idea. He rolled up the long left sleeve of his dark brown cloak and held up his hand. It was the artifical limb that had replaced the one lost in the war some time back. The black-and-gold robotic replacement was almost skeletal in appearance. He moved the fingers, which moved just as real and life-like as any true hand.

"Don't worry, we're all a bit different looking around here. I think it's a requirement to visit Club Orion," Valin joked.

Instead of supergluing his single finger back on his hand Tacitus had somehow managed to not only glue all his fingers together, but also glue them to the bottle of superglue. He held his hands out to Hotaru, "Help?"

Hotaru looked up then then started laughing. She didn't know how he managed to get stuck like that. "How am I suppose to help?"

Xaith smiled at the girl when she began fiddling with his tail. So she liked foxes, huh? Well, alot of people did. Didn't come much of a shock to him. He watched her intently. She was like a child. A very innocent, shy child. And then her ribbon fell. Xaith had noticed to bone-like appendages portruding from her head, but had paid it no mind. There were plenty of people with horns. And they had some pretty nasty ones at that. Why, he'd run into a man at this very place that had horns reaching down to his ankles. Now that had been a strange sight. He was just about to say how he found the little nubs for horns unique when she began muttering words he didn't even knew existed on this world. Was she being coherant or did he need to expand on his english? He'd dwell on it later.

The girl was scolding herself and gripping at her horns. There was really nothing wrong with her. Some people had horns. Plain and simple. Other than that, she looked more human than he did. He reached out with his right hand and touched her shoulder.

"The Jedi--"

He looked over to the man named Valin with question in his eyes, wondering if he got the name right. He took a small amount of time to examine the man's arm. Wow. Much more technologically advanced than Xaith had ever seen. His planet wasn't too advanced. He almost lost track of what he was saying.

"Is right. Everyone I've met here has had something that makes them unique. Your case is nothing bad. I've seen some pretty nasty things and my life, as has the Jedi. Your horns are actually on the cuter side of things, if I can be so bold. Trust me, the people here will accept you, horns or no."

He smiled and rubbed her shoulder softly before drawing his hand away.

Tac gave a shrug, "I've really no clue. I'd start by making sure kwalala doesn't get stuck to my hands, cause I'm sure I'd lose more fingers that way. Other than that, um...dammit." He smacked his hands on the table in frustration...and got them stuck, "GRAH! Can't cast spells like this either...though I don't know if it would help..."

Hotaru laughed more. "I'll try and go get help." She turned then ran towards Chrissy, Xaith, and Valin. ((You guys are in the bar right?)) Hotaru looked at the three then spoke. "Um, excuse me."
