Nervous as all Hell, the girl was. He kind of felt bad for her. He was never a shy person. Which was strange, having lived in seclusion for the majority of his life. What had happened to the girl to make her so antsy? He smiled down at her, trying to keep his fangs in his mouth. He knew all too well that she probably didn't want some fanged stranger to show off canines that could tear her to pieces. He let her hand slid away easily. She was so small. But it was always the small ones you needed to look out for. They get pushed around alot and work so hard to make sure they can take care of themselves. Only an idiot would take this small girl to be a pushover. It may be the case, Xaith wouldn't know unless he ever saw the girl in action, but never be so quick to judge somebody's abilities. A spark of intrigue had flickered when she healed herself. He hadn't seen something like that before.

"Don't mention it."

He moved his left hand into his pocket, his right still holding the skull. He moved over to the bar and sat at a stool next to where the girl had been sitting. He reached up and placed the skull on the counter with a thud! He looked over his shoulder to the smaller girl.

"So...What brings you out in the middle of nowhere, if you don't mind my asking."

He smiled again and let his voice be one that was comforting. God knew she needed to feel at ease.

He'd almost not noticed that the other man had adressed him as well. He turned his attention to him and gave a smile, but shook his head.

"I'm not sure about this young lady, but I'm not new. I live on the third floor. I've been here for a few weeks...Well, a month, but that's only if you include my first few visits."

He put both hands on the countertop and drummed his clawed fingers against it rhythmically. No beat in particular, just random drumming.

All she did was look up at Valin's...anger? Aggression? She wasn't sure and didn't care and thus returned to her work, thinking to herself that he was a horrible when it came to asserting himself. He had succeeded in causing her to screw up pretty badly, resulting in furious erasing and wiping away of rubber shavings. With a sigh she tried to get back into the right mood and continue with her drawing.

This failed though as she sat there, tapping the lead point of the pencil against the outline, wondering why she felt as though the party at the bar was talking in insignificant circles. Tap, tap, tap...tap, tap, tap...tap, tap, tap...tap, tap, sigh. Great. Just great. Now her concentration was broken.

A nearly inaudible pop was Red's only signal that the chair opposite her had even gone from unoccupied to occupied. Once Tacitus and his koala popped into the chair they didn't seem to move or make too many sounds. The little beastie didn't seem to be biting him, but the faint orange glow in its eyes indicated that perhaps it wasn't in control of itself by some means. It sat on his shoulder, clinging to his coat as Tac did his best to reattach his finger, which meant he was prodding the stump with the actual finger, not even cleaning up the blood or shredded bits of flesh.

Actually, with all the mess about her face gone, Chrissy was able to show off her surprisingly lovely features. Her eyes shimmered in gratitude, and her cautious disposition was beginning to melt away. The two auras were comforting, and that gave her relief in allowing her gaurd to go down. Still, she wouldn't be able to really do much of anythign around them for some time. Even though they were nice, Christiania did not allow anyone into her life until she knew they were trustworthy. That could take some time too. Keno wasn't considered a friend until he saw what she was capable of and did what he could to help her. She had always appreciated that too. Snapping back into reality, Chrissy blinked several times at the question before responding with a more cheerful smile.

"I'm...Christiania, and Keno-san sent me here."

She was answering both their questions within a single sentence, but found herself gnawing on her bottom lip again. That was the first sentence she had put together without falling over her words like an imbecile. Her smile grew to show off her pearly white teeth only adding to her innocently beautiful exterior. She was a firecrack once people got close enough to get to know her, but that did not happen very often. Chrissy was criticized for acting so childish back at the institute, so she normally kept that to herself. Of course, she was so anti-social that she acted like a child most of the time anyway.

"W-Who are you, sirs?"

Her wide, eyes switched between the two though seemed to linger on the male with blue hair. He looked like her in a way. With the matching blue eyes and hair. The only thing different about her was the fact that her right eye was darker then her left. That was a story Christiania loathed telling. it only added to her weak-like stature. She pushed those horrid memories from her mind, but the idea that he could be a diclonius did not. She knew she was the only one of her kind, but the hope still lingered. Christiania, her curiousity gaining control, allowed a vector slip from its residence in her back and allowed it to linger around the two males. The vector was a large, invisible arm that could stretch over thirty meters. not only that, but she had six and they could rip a person to shreds. Of course, being invisible, only those who could sense invisible beings could detect its presence. That and a person being sliced in half by them.

"Keno-san...he...thought I'd like it here."

The vector retracted in disgust, letting Chrissy know neither of them came close to being diclonius. She swallowed a lump in her throat, frowning inwardly. Oh well, she wouldn't give up. The smile on her face faltered slightly, but she did not give htem time to react or ask questions. She didn't like being in the spotlight. Hastily, the diclonius slid onto a barstool next to the male, resting her head on open palms. The ribbons of her head had loosened significantly, showing a bit f something protruding from her skull. Christiania didn't notice so the fabric was gradually comming undone. The two objects were still a mystery, and only when they came off fully would anyoen know about them. Chrissy was mortified to have them.

"W-What b-rought you two here? Did Keno-san bring you here too?"

Could things get any more irritating for her? There was a klutz, an overly optimistic Jedi, and now a jack a** whose sense of humor was anything but funny to her. She could smell him as easily as though he were the only being, nay the only composition of matter, within all of space. It wasn't that she hated him, but she was still sore with him and wanted nothing to do with him.

As such, without even lifting her eyes to meet his, were they visible, she tucked the long ruby tresses of hair on her left behind her ear and in a very unorganized manner stuffed all of her tools into her bag, rolled up her paper, and rose from her seat to seek sanctuary elsewhere.

Before she could turn around though, her entire body went rigid with rage. Keno-san She spun around and glared at the bar, eyes set deeply on the young girl who owned the voice. Part of her wanted to slap the girl in the face, but her piercing gaze was more than enough.

Keno-san She winced again, fists shaking as her blood pressure rose furiously. What the hell was with that name? Did everyone have to mention him? Dammit!

Keno-san She stormed off, her knees practically unable to bend as her feet slammed into the floor. Yes slammed like a bowling ball falling off of a tilted shelf. Only when she reached the ring would her footsteps fade, or better yet stop altogether as she debated where to sit. There were no desks in here, so she would have to make due. The floor was good enough, or at least better than nothing. Damn b***h.

"I'm a ninja. It's my birthday. I'm a ninja. It's my birthday." Hotaru said happily as she stepped into the building. She had just heard this wierd song about ninjas and she couldn't stop thinking about it. She entered the bar and looked around. "Wow. So many people here today." She was a bit surprised since it was usually empty.

He bowed before pretty, two-toned eye, lady and the guy who carried around a skull, "My name is Valin Lobel - Jedi Knight extraordinaire," He was absolutely positive that statement would probably need an explaination. Not many people knew what a Jedi was around here.

"And I'm not exactly from this planet for that matter. I'm from another galaxy far, far away actually. I'm, uh, sorta stuck here for the moment - but I do know your friend KenoTao though," He said. Okay - so he always knew he sounded like an madman when he said that. People must have thought he was crazy. Hmm. Maybe he was crazy... but how does a crazy man know he is crazy? Another random tangent that had no bearing on the events at hand. He wasn't crazy - just weird.

And there it was - wow. Red was burning hotter than a thousand angry suns. It had to be the constant mentioning of KenoTao. The anger was almost palpable in the Force, like Valin could reach out and touch it. He wanted to do or say something - but he also didn't want her to kill him either. Then Red stormed off. Better to just let her cool off...

Valin looked at the guy with the skull, "So somehow I haven't seen you over a the course of a month? Well, either way, it's a pleasure to meet both of you."

The Jedi looked a the skull, "Now. I have to ask - why do you have a skull? Does it do tricks? Does it talk?"

Xaith's midnight blue fox ears suddenly perked up and he arched an eyebrow before swatting at nothing. Well...What other people would see as nothing. He felt something get close to him. Couldn't see it, but he certainly felt something loom in over him. And then the feeling was gone. He glanced around, his eyes becoming sharp and narrowed. This wasn't his imagination playing tricks on him, there was no way. He looked around. He hadn't had this feeling when purple head was around. If memory served well, the red-headed fox hadn't given off that vibe. That left the girl and the apparent bar-keep. He would keep an eye on both of them. But he wouldn't make it obvious. But he probably looked like a loonatic, swatting at the air for no apparent reason. He figured he wouldn't even give an explaination and continue on with the conversation. He turned his head

"I can't say I know this Keno fella, but the name's Xaith. It's nice to meet you, Christiania. I came here after I, uhh..."

Great, now he was back to wondering what happened.

"Well, I came here of my own accord, we can leave it at that."

He smiled politely. He wouldn't disclose that he had obliterated his own planet and woke up on this one. That would more than likely scare the poor girl. He noticed something at the top of her head. He mentally shrugged it off.

"But I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here."

He looked at the man who called himself a Jedi and smiled. Yes, of course. Everybody with the skull. He was sure the girl would have asked if she wasn't so bashful. He moved his gloved hand to the top of the skull and patted in between it's horns.

"No, not many tricks I'm afraid. This, as strange as it may sound to you, is my father."

He smiled, though his dark blue fox tail swished around almost angirly. The man hadn't intended to insult his late father, he understood this, but it still kind of bugged him. But everybody makes mistakes and he would not hold any kind of grudge against the man.

Tac gave a sigh as Red stormed off, glancing down to his finger before looking off in the direction she had gone, "Well damn, I was hoping she had some superglue." He contemplated going to ask her, but decided against it when his gaze swept over Hotaru standing near the entrance. The old man gave a genuine smile as he noticed the young girl, mainly because she'd be able to hold the koala while Tac figured out what to do about his finger.

Hotaru spotted Tac then waved to him. She ran over then looked up him then at the koala in his shoulder. "Hi!"
