Page 8509((Aman leaves the tank to think)) Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf An evolved male beta swam from the portkey set up between his tank and the main tank for the first time. It had been highly suggested that he needed some time out meeting others. Aman was not so sure.
He was a little perplexed. Topanga had returned to the tank to joyously proclaim about the the hatched frys of hers & her partial-mate's. That bothered the devoutly Christian Aman more than he really could say, for he liked the happy-go-lucky female with a brotherly affection. But it really bothered him that she had not paired officially with her chosen paramour.
Aman sighed, flicking his nativity printed fin to direct his swim almost casually, nonchalantly brushing a strand of long brown hair from his almost silver eyes with his hand. No one seemed to think or believe as he did. Bob Dobbs *Marine peeked out a bit shyly from behind a bed of seaweed, her large eyes widened not expecting anyone to have been there. she had always been a little on the shy side but while she was looking for Orion to take some more lessons she had spyed an unusually colored male. It was hard not to notice him. He was almost like a stained glass window swimming in the ocean. She wasnt about to approach him, she would be too intimidated to behave in such a manner.* Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf A motion behind him caused Aman to spin around suddenly in the water. Okay, so he was a bit paranoid today. He was having a bit of a crisis of lines, though not one of faith. The almost harsh look on his face at being startled from his thoughts faded and became soft. From soft it added a bit of confusion; the male did not know how to proceed.
"Hello." He offered softly, watching the shy female mostly hidden in the seaweed. Had he startled her? Worry put a crease in his brow. Bob Dobbs *Marine held her hand to her mouth in a wide eyes gesture of gasped surprise. She backed away slightly then looked self consiously to the side. With a soft voice heavy with irish accent she replied.* I-im so sorry . . if I was disturbing you. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf "No. No. You were clearly here first." His voice was perhaps distant, but very kind. Aman made no move either towards or away. "The apology should be mine, lady." Pressing his hands together the male gave a small bow. "I humbly ask your forgiveness. I will leave, if you wish it of me."

Page 8583((Aman really meets Marine & Princess Ume)) Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Ever since scaring off the pretty female Aman found himself fretting for the shy one's safety. And he felt guilty for alarming her. This time, he left the tank with a purpose = to find her and apologize. His tail flicked through the water frought with purpose. It downed on the Nativity marked male that he did not even know her name. Bob Dobbs *Marine was taking care of Ume and having a good time playing with her. The small purple child was a quick learn and seemed to be just as smart as her mom and dad. She enjoyed babysitting the younger ones in the tank she lived in. They grew up way too fast but she enjoyed it while she could. Her whole face lit up when Princess Ume learned a new word or did something amazing. Her young friend was not a "real" princess in the technical sense but her father doted on her so much as if she were royalty.* Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf He spotted her, recognizing vaguely the pattern of her stripes. Aman saw too the young that was with her and slowed down for both their sakes. Silver eyes watched softly a moment, a crinkle of uncertainty crossing his brow. Dare he interrupt the happy scene? Should he? Was he doing this becuse it was right or to soothe his own guilty conscience?
Lord, please be with me. I hope this is Your will... Sighing softly he swam closer into view. "Hello again." His gentle smile lighted on the young one as well. "Such a pretty fry. I... apologize if I frightened you before. I would never do anything to hurt another." This was more to Marine again, his silver eyes searching for hers. "I am called Aman, lady." Bob Dobbs *Princess Ume screamed in surprise and hid behind Marine. A few seconds later she peeked out, curiously. Marine put a hand on Ume's head as if to calm her and smiled reassuringly. Turning to face Aman, Marine blinked her eyes and replied in a soft voice. She had to appear calm for Ume's sake.* Marine: Hello. . . .Aman, I am Marine. . .The little one is called Princess Ume. I watch her while her parents are busy. Ume: Miss Mawine? he bwad guy? *Biting her right fin and looking up at her Nanny, Marine, with innocent eyes. Marine: No, Silly one. *Marine kissed the top of her head fondly.* He wouldn't have introduced himself if he was. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf He saddened visibly and pulled back at the young one's reaction to him. Was he that frightening? He did not mean to be. No one of his tank ever had such a reaction to him, but perhaps that was because they were accustomed to him. There was a sheepish look upon his face.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Marine, Princess Ume. I add the apology of interrupting your outing onto the other. I only..." He faltered, not knowing. "Please forgive me. I'll leave."
Bowing, he moved to do so. Still, Aman knew if either said he did not need to leave he would remain. Bob Dobbs *Marine thought for a minute and would never be anything less than polite. She did not want him to feel unwelcome. In her usual irish brogue she spoke.* The little one isnt accustomed to anyone outside of her tank yet. I apologize for the poor welcome. *Here she blushed a bit as she thought that she might have had an unintentional part in his feeling unwelcome.* Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Aman paused, turning slowly to give a soft smile. Her accent reminded him in parts like a few of the larger creatures that lived in the home beyond his tank. It was different however, and he wished he could place it. "You ladies should not apologize for anything. I'm not often out of my own tank, so it is as likely the blame is mine. I seem to have startled you twice now, Lady Marine, however unintentionally."
There was a flicker of hope in his sad silver eyes. "But I would like the company, if you don't mind my presence." Bob Dobbs *Marine looked at Princess Ume as if to say "is this alright with you?" Ume Nodded and took her fin out of her mouth. Swimming out a bit more from behind Marine she shyly smiled and waved at Aman then retreated again behind her caretaker from her brave gesture. Marine taking this as a yes, smiled at Aman and replied* I think she's taken a liking to you. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf He smiled, a tender light in his eyes. "Really? I miss having little ones around, ever since Gaebor & Jia grew up. Topanga's young are usually with their mother & father..." There was a slight frown, for Aki did not aprove of the pair not being formally mated and raising a family but for the moment he said nothing. "So I do not see them often." Aman smiled again, floating down a bit to sit in a relaxed fashion. "It is nice to be able to watch and guide them while young."
To the young one he said, "So what is your favorite game, Princess Ume?" Bob Dobbs *Princess Ume finally came out from behind Marine and lifted up a small pearl she played with as a ball* My ball *Marine explained* she never parts with it, its her favorite toy. I agree, but they grow up too fast. I try to enjoy them while they are young. I get to help guide them and teach them and they carry that to adulthood. . . .I hope. *amused at her little joke* Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf "It's a lovely ball." Aman agreed, smiling at the fry. "And you listen well to Miss Marine, do you?" He was nodding at the older female's words. "I wish I had been around to help Elanorriel with our Yunalesca when she was young. She picked up on nothing her foster mother tried to instill in her, I'm afraid. But together, I think we have had more luck with Gaebor & Jia." So far. Lord, let us have taught them something... if only Himgûl had joined the tank young, we might have saved him as well... "It is so hard to tell. We can only pray we have done well by them." Bob Dobbs *Ume gnawed on her fin again then smiled and nodded at Aman.* Me twy hard. *Marine nodded* We can hope but the rest isnt up to us, all we can do is try and see if what we teach them sticks. I'm afraid I have not made the aquaintance of Elanorriel or Yunalesca but I feel sure their young are good at heart. Deep down there is good in everyone, even if they hide it. *Marine suddenly got nervous she was being too chatty so she paused talking and smiled self consciously.* Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf "That is all anyone can ask of you, Princess Ume." Chuckling gently Aman shook his head. Was he that bad at conversing? Most likely yes, as this was his first chance outside of his tankmates."Topanga is the only one of my tankmates with her own progeny, thank God. Though I believe you might like Elanorriel & Jia YaHuo. They are well behaved ladies, and unlike me would never startle or frighten anyone." It was the male's attempt at a joke & he cringed slightly that it would not be found funny. Bob Dobbs *Marine giggled at the jest* You just have a habit of taking one off guard I imagine. The ones you talk of sound nice, Maybe I will get a chance to meet them one day. You don't seem that bad so it could be said your friends are also the same. *Marine meant to say something with the same meaning of the phrase "Birds of a color flock together" but she wasn't always good with her words but she did speak from her heart as genuinely as a beta could. Princess Ume also laughed but it was directed at the ball she was playing with. She had heard that she had a sister and a brother but she had not met them yet. Maybe Marine was talking about her sisters too. She did know know if Marine had sisters and brothers but as a child you always assume everyone is the same as you.* Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf "I could... bring them to meet you perhaps?" Oh Lord, I am bad at this. The slightest trace of a blush touched his cheeks. "What I mean is, perhaps if we plan a meeting, I would not startle you so badly." Aman sent another silent prayer that he was socializing properly. He never had to worry about such things in his tank. Almost belatedly he ducked his head at the ... compliment? - his long brown hair lifting almost lazily in the water. "I hope to not be bad, ladies." A wry chuckle. "My tankmates sometimes say that I am too good."
Actually, Yunalesca & Himul often said that he was "goody-goody", but was not that similar? Bob Dobbs *Marine nodded and looked forward to meeting new friends. Princess Ume also, She hoped she could meet some more beta her own age. Maybe these new friends of Aman could bring them.* I look forward to it, its been. . .really nice meeting you. I hope that we can talk like this again. *Marine hoped she was not being too forward but she wouldnt mind speaking with him again. Gathering Princess Ume's toys and Princess Ume herself Marine headed back to their tank. Soubi would probably be looking for his daughter and have a nice meal there for her. She had warned him against spoiling the girl but he did not seem able to resist.* Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf He bowed, watching their retreating tails with a soft ache to see them go as well as a hope to see them again soon. "I hope so too..." Aman watched until he saw no more then turned & swam for the portkey and home, his heart feeling much lighter than it had on the journey out.

Page 8590(('Lesca meets VooDoo)) Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Yunalesca swam in frustration from the portkey that led between their "home" tank & the main one. She would be angry, if she cared more. She was just so bored.... and Himgûl always provided a way out of boredom. When the two prudes of the tank had their attention diverted elsewhere. "El needs to get laid..." The evolved female muttered darkly, a mischievous smile touching her otherwise down-turned mouth in what could be a cruel way. She started to chuckle, thinking that Aman could use a good loosening up too. Just look how carefree Topanga was! It was clear she had no lack of pleasant experiences, mated or not. Of course that thought had Yunalesca laughing loudly. She doubted even such activities would unwind the pious, self-rightous Aman, but it was amusing to consider. devilnightshade VooDoo's body twisted and turned as he spun aorund in his black flames, he wa splaying with his arts again making the flames dance for him. Pupiless crimson eyes stared into the crackling black sparks and his mouth twisted into as much of a grin as he could manage. The ritualistic male spun around suddenly when he heard another's laughter. His eyes anrrowed under long dark bangs and scanned the surronding area letting the flames die away into a stone bowl filled with many diffrent ingredients that had helped him to create the shadowy dancing flames. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf She did not really notice the flames until they died away, the change catching her attention though Yunalesca could not place what exactly had pulled her thoughts and attentions where it had. Curious, She swam in the direction that had drawn her attention. The yinyang on her fin cut easily through the water, guiding her forward and she wondered at the odd taste and smells she found there. A startled gasp came from her as she saw the male there, and she moved backwards in the water her thin braid of hair moving slower with her changed direction and staying forward to land upon her breast. Her eyes ran the length of his body, widening a bit at the mask? on his face then glittering as the whole look was taken in. "Hello..."
It was not quite sultry, not quite husky, not quite a purr, but there was definitely an intrest in the way she spoke the simple greeting. "Did I interrupt something?" devilnightshade VooDoo wasn't wearing a mask, actually it was pain on his face all except the bright red stitches that weaved their way in and out of black painted lips. The male shook his head 'no' for that was all he could do at the moment. Suddenly he spun and began searching through a large leatehr bound book.
His figners expertly flipped the pages then he started mixing ingerdients. After a moment he pulle dout a knife and slit his palm letting two drops of blood fall into the mixture. Mixin the stuff he dipped his thumb in it and ran a line from his bottom lip all the way down to his chest. Suddenly his voice, which was dark and smooth llike ffine black silk, boomed out semeing to come from everywhere at once. "Excuse me...normally i'm quiet mute.." his voice was actually comng through in her own mind thanks to the spell. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Her eyes widened, taking in what the male was doing. Yunalesca had seen the wizards perform magic outside of her home tank and the portkey that they used to travel here was of that kind of magic, but she knew thier magic never used blood. She shivered pleasantly at the black silk feel of his "voice" and swam closer as if drawn. "Nothing wrong with mute, there's other ways of communicating." The flick of her tail through the water with the swing of her hips was her hint of how. "Though however you got this voice it feels wonderful." Her smile was almost calculating, her eyes trailing the marks of potion with blood from lips to chest and back again. "A kind of magic?" devilnightshade "Black magic m'dear, theres much difference, the dark arts are used to curse and bring pain, though i've yet to have to use them on another beta." He stretched slightly and tilted his head letting is long locks flow. "I'm VooDo, and you are?" VooDoo was a large male not to mention rather dominant in apperence. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Since most of kitsu Remus' lessons to his kits against the Dark Arts had taken place in the library, Yunalesca had not heard any warnings against them. For her, the idea sent excited shivers along her newly evolved spine. She watched the male stretch with an equally excited and interested air. Her hand trembled to reach out and touch the flowing locks of hair but she held it out to him instead, curious how he would react to the gesture. More curious to know how his marked lips would feel on her skin -if he was such a male that kissed hands. Of course there was other skin...
"Yunalesca, though I prefer 'Lesca." devilnightshade He reached down and took the hand lightly in his, he touched it to his lips but didn't actually kiss it beause the rough stitches didn't allow him to move his lips that way. "it's a pleasure to meet you Madam 'Lesca."He tossed his two toned hair back and let his arms fall down before lifting them once more and placing his hands on his hips. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Strangely, 'Lesca found she liked the feel of the stitches across her hand. Not so strangely, perhaps, was how she found she wanted more. More of his touch and more of his knowledge. Knowledge? Now that surprised her. Maybe not so much knowledge as learning about him, and his magic.
Boldly, she put her hand on his biscep and met his eyes. "The pleasure's mine." A smile. "Tell me of yourself, VooDoo, while the spell lasts? Or of your magic?" She added, wondering if he was the type who preferred to tell of himself or his passion more. cont page 8609devilnightshade VooDoo blinked and looked down at the hand place don his chest, he wasn't sure how he felt about female...or males for that matter. His muscles tensed beneath the bronzed skin and finally looked back up at her his eyes emotionless.
"Theres not much to tell, I'm older than i seem, but I'm still quiet young. As for black magic...once an easily read up on that i really don't have to tell you much, besides i don't give out my secrets easily. I must trust the apprentice i take on, and then only will my true mate ever learn anything from me." cont page 8638Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf 'Lesca liked the way his muscles tensed beneath her touch. She frowned slightly at his words though, having heard quite enough about needing to find a mate from Aman and Elanorriel lately. As if they had mates. Topanga was the only one having anything close to a mate, and she seemed tentative to make it official.
She tried to hide the crinkle of her nose at having to read, but knew that now sparked her curiosity would have her asking the GaiaCom for beta sized books on the subject. With an odd smile she wondered how 'riel would take that. "I suppose I could read up on the subject. Makes sense that you wouldn't want to tell a stranger if they're secrets..."
Although she had a question Yunalesca held off. He had not asked her about herself, but it seemed a little of Elanorriel's forced lessons on etiquette had worked its way into her head. And since they were not on to more engaging activities. "I'm the third oldest in my tank, though Aman for all he's just arrived might be older and Jia acts it even she's not." Her pout was more of a frown. "Sometimes they treat me younger than I am."
She meant El, Aman & Jia, but to 'Lesca they were "they" to her when speaking of annoying tankmates. The others did not try to change her so did not bother the yin-yang female. Although sometimes Gaebor wanted to play hero & asked her to be the evil villainess, which at times was fun and other times aggravating.
"Your apprentice, hmm? And what would you look for in an apprentice?" Was it her imagination or had he tied "apprentice" & "mate" together? Would she be willing to mate to learn about this art of his? Not on a first meeting surely, but... scowling the female shook her head to remove the thought, her braid smacking her in the face with the force. Oh no. No thinking that!

When she returned to the tank Elanorriel was sleeping, which was to be expected. So was Aman, though the Christian beta was not one Jia was keen on seeking advise from. Not tonight. Not on matters that might be of the heart. For what could it be, but a matter of the heart? Her heart beat so furiously still.
"You certainly are glowing tonight, Jia." A smooth voice moved the waters near her head. The lantern female turned sharply to face the speaker, nearly entangling herself in the faerie's cool blue tails in her hurry. "Pleasant evening to you, Himgûl." The male grinned knowingly at her and Jia YaHuo tried to look away. "Let me fan that fire of yours."
Oh why did he have to be so crude when she was feeling so good? Her glow dimmed, gold flecks becoming almost nonexistent in her brown eyes. "Please leave me be, Himgûl."
The overly sexual advances of her tankmate where really too much to bear after the sweet and brief touch of the lantern beta she had just parted ways with. Her force at telling him not to touch her was weakened with the underlying thought that she would not mind Ying touching her again. The sexually promiscuous male seemed to be able to read that in her as their banter continued late into the night, his bright lime-green eyes smiling in an almost predatory way. "Admit it: you long to be touched, Princess." His inflexion was smooth and someone weaker & less certain would likely easily be swayed with his smoldering charms. But it was other charming ways that had opened her mind and touched her heart. Gentle, courteous, cultured charms. "Not by you!" Jia spat with ladylike disdain, quickly swimming away from Himgûl as he laughed with a frustrating knowing grin.
Finding Elanorriel and the angelic nightmare Madrigal she slipped in beside them where they slept, trying to shut out the sounds of Himgûl & Yunalesca finding each other and engaging in adult games the lantern beta would rather not think about. Jia squeezed her eyes fiercely shut, then relaxed with a sigh as a collage of images of Ying's face filled her mind's eye, shutting out all outside distractions. Guang YingXiong... Her breath slipped out as a happy sigh and Jia drifted lightly off to sleep.

Mother-Son time page 9661Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf ((*grins & shoves the boy to his mommy*)) Oh yeah... it was a great day to be out on his own and in the main tanks. Gaebor was recently evolved (ooo! Fingers!!) and could now actually play with the sword he'd worn as an adult without the pain of trying to keep a good grip with his fins. Oh yeah. Digits were pretty neat things.
Although... going out on his own was a little boring too. Maybe he should have asked Madrigal along. The nightmare-angelic was always good at playing damsel in distress. Too bad 'Lesca had up and disappeared so his 'evil villianess' was unavailable. Bummer.Emmylicious Cathrina was not far from this newly evolved male. She was staring at her little seahorse friend. The little creature swam infront of her face as Cathrina then noticed a male coming.
This male seemed familiar but she wasn't sure why. It had been a long time since she had seen any of her children so she didn't think this male could be one of hers. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Blue eyes sparkled spotting a female with a small matching seahorse. He swam faster, the fairy that lit his path trailing behind in the beta's excitement. Much to the glowing thing's dismay. Which it conveyed by blinking its light in annoyance. Gaebor of course ignored it as he usually did unless specifically asking his constant companion for something. "Hi!!" He clled out merrily, waving a hand. "How's it going?" Emmylicious She nodded to him a little she was silent and quite like she watched him. She then put her hand up showing off a small bandage. "Got stung be a sea urchin." she said softly. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Concern flitted in his guileless blues. "Aw dang. That's a bummer. How'd you manage that?" Then Gaebor grinned impishly with youthful delight. "Want me to smite it for you?" Emmylicious She chuckled and shook her head. "I was with my mate and he almost sat on it. I was a fool and picked up and threw it away from us and got stung in the process." Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf The male blinked, then laughed. "Not very smart of him, was it? Guess you didn't think about using something else to move it, in the spur of the moment? 'Riel says I'm like that: act first, think later. But if I thought first all the time I'd never do anything!"
Laughter sparkled in his bright eyes, knowing he was making fun of himself & not caring. "By the way, name's Gaebor!" Emmylicious "No...it wasn't." She said chuckling. She then looked up at her as her eyes went a little wide. "Gae...Gaebor?" She squeaked out a little. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf His red tail flicked beneath him as he chuckled. Then as she squeaked out his name Gaebor tilted his head curiously at her, blonde hair falling to the side from underneath his white cap. Was his name that difficult to pronounce? He had always thought it quite easy & was pretty fond of it. "Yea. Gaebor. What? Is it hard?" (continued: [page 9675) Emmylicious She smiled and shook her head as she moved over to him and brushed his hair out of his face. "Silly. Do you know who I am?" She asked softly. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf He blinked but did not flinch. Gaebor was accustomed to the females of his tank helping to keep his new hair out of his face and did not see any difference in a stranger doing so. What should have clued him off was his fairy's ease with the situation. The usually easily excitable entity was bobbing through the water sedately, non-pulsed. "Um... Should I?"
There was something oddly familiar about the female, but for the life of him Gaebor couldn't put a finger (wonderful things, fingers!) on why or how. Emmylicious She giggled softly as she plased a sweet peck on his cheek. "Ahh you make me feel so love...and to think of what your father might say of this." Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf He blushed at the kiss. Sure... it was of the maternal 'you're a good boy, now behave' sort that he was used to but he did not know this beta.
Did he?
Something tugged at the back of his mind, but still was not clear. "My father? Why? What would he say?"
"Um... am I missing something? 'Riel says I don't think nearly enough but..." Emmylicious she got a little huffy as she pulled away. "Hmph...I guess I should expect you not to remmeber me since you left just shortly after hatching." Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf A pained look flooded his face as she huffed, never once intending to hurt her. "I'm... sorry... I did that talking before thinking thing again, didn't I?"
Gaebor watched her face, his thoughts having time to come together even as his mouth gave their play-by-play. "Wait... I left? Hatched?" His blue eyes went wide, adding in how she spoke of his father. A grin broke out over his face and he cut through the water to where she had pulled away, throwing his arms around her in a tight embrace. "Mom!" Emmylicious She smiled and pulled him in closer hugging him. "Awww thats my boy!" She said pulling away as she looked him over. "You are so handsome! Make me wanna find your father and make more babbies." she said giggling. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf If he blushed at the peck it was nothing compared to hearing his mother complement him on his looks and then talk about doing that with his father. He was not naive... but he sure liked to lean that way!!

Mini family reunion page 9736((Just after Topanga realizes she's expecting again. ^_^)) Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf An evolved clownfish with a white starburst on her chest cavorted through the water, singing happily along to the tune playing in her headphones s her long blonde & purple hair drifted around her. Behind her, an adult female matching some of the other's colors but favoring a creamish tone & bearing a white lightning bolt glanced around then scurried closer as if afraid to venture too far on her own. The evolved laughed. "It's not that bad, Brie! You can't always be with your father or I or around our home you know! You need friends of your own."Brieanna offered her mother what she hoped was an unafraid smile. "I know, Mom. But I like being with you and Dad."Pausing, Topanga turned with a smile and embraced her daughter. Her hand traced the bolt with a mother's tender love. "We like having you with us too, Brie."muletothefoxxes An evolved clownfish, swims through the waters, her arms full of seaweeds and her pet hermet crab riding her tail.A grown up clownfish swims after her firing questions ocasionaly shuch as. "What're those for? What do you think of the new eggs? Can I play with Hermy?" Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Hearing a voice Topanga spins around, her daughter instantly hiding behind her. Recognition strikes and the evolved female swims forward enthusiastically forcing the startled Brie to have to hurry to catch up. "Mom!! Sunburst!!"The cream colored clown blinked. Mom? This stranger was family? Very slightly she relaxed, a worried but almost eager smile starting to curve the corners of her mouth. muletothefoxxes Grinning happily Maradith frees one arm to wrap around Topanga. "Its been so long! How have you been?"Letting out a happy little squeak, Sunburst shuts up for the moment and gives his sister an affectionet nudge in the arm. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Hugging her mother back and grinning at both while trying to get Sunburst a hug too Topanga tries to tell everything in a rush of excitement as Brieanna tries to hide behind her where 'Panga's hair might obscure her. "I've been wonderful!!! Aki & I have our own place with our children that's just perfect!! Of course they're grown now. Oh! But Aki & I met after the last I've seen you! Mom, I'm sure you'd like him! We're expecting more frys soon! And you've got to meet our not-so-little ones! Brieanna?"
Spinning, the evolved looked worriedly around for her daughter. Brie's eyes went wide as she became unhidden and flashed a sheepish & halfway shy smile at her unknown family. "Hi..." muletothefoxxes "Oh that sounds wonderfull I'll have to try and meet him one day." She twists around a bit to get a better look at Brie. Smiling gently she says, "Hello there, I'm your grandmother."Laughing Sunburst nuzzles her arm and looks her over, befor shooting out his questions, "Youre all evolved. Whats it like being evolved? Whats it like having a mate? How many kids do you have?" Giving Brie a curious look he opens his mouth to ask more questions, only to have Maradith shove some of the seaweed into his mouth. Chewing bussily he trys to get rid of the chewy stuff. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf "Oh! There you are, Brie! No hiding now!" She smiles as her daughter comes forward. "Hi Gramma." "This is Maradith, Brie. And your Uncle Sunburst!! & yes! You must meet Aki! & Jodie & Amanda too!" Topanga was laughing then, trying to answer her brother's rapidfire questions. "It's great! I love it! Aki's evolved too so it's doubly fun! We have three, but there's more on the way!" Another laugh, and a happy wink at her brother before she went to tackle the question she had avoided. Her lip pulled into her mouth, her cheerful demeanor turning serious. "We're... not exactly mates. Aki calls it partial mates. It's not like I don't want to it's just..." Topanga sighed & cast her deep blue eyes at Maradith. "Our family's not really been known to settle... I'm afraid... I don't want to hurt him if I can't settle too." There was a pleading look in her eyes, as if not sure how to ask her mother for an answer or at least advice. Brie knowing how much her parents loved each other tucked her head reassuringly into her mother's side. muletothefoxxes "Hello Brie, I haven't met very many of my grandchildren. You don't have to be shy, few beta's actualy bite."Finaly chewing through that bit of seaweed he pops out with. "I hope I can get evolved one day. Hands would be fun! Oooh more! Awww." He nuzzles her arm.Smiling reasuringly she pats her arm. "Just because I haven't settled, and to my knowledge none of my kids or grand kids have, doesnt' mean you can't. Is there anything really keeping you two from becoming mates?" Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Brieanna inched her way forward, a nervous but trusting smile on her face. Then she giggled shrilly at her uncle... he was even more energetic than her mother! She nodded her agreement. "Me too, Uncle Sunburst. Mom & Dad can do things with their hands that I can't with my fins." Then she blushed for having spoken so much at once. But it was okay. He was family. Topanga was thoughtful though she noticed from the corner of her eye her daughter's brief venture into socializing and had to smile. "Just me..." Topanga admitted with a sheepish grin, almost impish yet sad and guilty at the same time. "He's just so wonderful... but I've not met anyone knew since meeting him and I'm just afraid..." Deep blue eyes welled up with tears that the waters around them swiftly washed away. "...I'm afraid of being tempted to be unfaithful. Aki deserves better than that."muletothefoxxes He gently bumps his nose into hers. "Don't be to jealous though, this shape does have its uses. Makes the other creatures less afraid of us."Hugging her gently Maradith nods. "I've never liked anyone that much, but only you can know what you'll do.. I'm sure you'll figure it out." Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Her eyes went cross as Sunburst bumped her nose & it took Brie a moment to get over it. "I'm not jealous... only saying." Rubbing at her nose with her fin the younger adult gave her uncle a worried look. "What other creatures?" Brieanna asked, her voice faltering a little. "But how did you... I mean... oh nevermind." Topanga's face was a bright shade of red clear to her ears. "Not sure I really wanna know." But it made her smile, as if something clicked into place and now at least almost made sense. Topanga wrapped her own arms about her mother & hugged tightly. "Thanks, Mom."muletothefoxxes Not toticing her faltering he goes blithly on. "Oh little things like, little fishys, seahorses, hermet crabs, and sea anenenemys." He makes a face, never having been good with that word. "They're lots of fun to swim in, and its what we clownfishes do best." He puffs up slightly.Chuckling she hugs back and doesn't bother to answer the almost asked question. "Your welcome, I hope I've helped even if its just a little." Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Brie's fear shifted to confusion. The anemones near our home don't seem to have a preference between my evolved parents or my siblings & me.""I think I do and... I think you helped, Mom. 'Riel can't come where you can on it. She's never been with anyone. But even if you've never liked anyone that much... you know the side I don't. And somehow that helps. I'll sleep on it tonight... but I'm pretty sure what I'll be telling Aki in the morning." Blue eyes danced as she gave an impish grin. "I know he'll be thrilled."muletothefoxxes He deflates slightly. "Well... Maybe not them.. But things with eyes can sometimes be scared of things that look a little like humans."Laughing she gives her another hug. "Just don't tease him to much befor hand. That pretty much drives them nuts." She winks impishly. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf She giggled a little. "Maybe it would be nice... having them 'frad of me for a change." Brie did not consider herself a scaredy-cat, for the most part. She just liked to play it safe and not take risks. "So for me it's an argument the other way!" With that she stuck her tongue out. Blushing Topanga giggled, her blue eyes dancing with thoughts of teasing her love -the father of their children- in ways that would both drive him nuts and please him to no end. "Nothing he'll mind... certainly." She said winking back. Suddenly she missed Aki very much. Topanga pushed a purple tipped strand of blonde away from her face and gave Maradith an apologetic look. "maybe we can meet up again soon? I... want to get back home. To Aki." If possible her blush deepened as her body longed for her lover. Soon to be her mate? Topanga grinned brightly at the thought. muletothefoxxes Shaking his head he says solomly, "But they can be so much fun to play with. See watch." With those words he turns to sneak around Maradith.Chuckling she nods. "I'm sure you do, have fun with him and take care." No sooner were the words out of her mouth, then Sunburst had knocked Hermy away from her and onto him and was racing away with him laughing. Staring after him in mild surprise she yells. "Hey! Get back here with him!" Then races off after the giggling maniac. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Laughing, mother & daughter waved at their kin and swam with speed towards home. Watching her mother, Brie wondered if she would be so lucky to find someone who made her feel like her parents clearly felt for each other. She hoped so.
