I haven't gotten warned or banned for anything. I'm to much of a goody-good to do anything bad gonk
But I feel for those who have. I have a friend who got banned because of a debate or something. The n00b she had a debate with didn't get banned or warned at all.
Kinda sucks that all the smartness on the forums is being punnished, while the absolute stupidity get's away with everything. Almost like we're the older siblings so the parents pick on us more then the younger ones.

I still don't get why n00bs aren't held accountable.
If I'm not mistaken, we have stickes that inform people of forum policies. Also, I'm pretty sure all of them say in big letters READ ME. I don't know about you, but I read from top of the page to bottom, and first thing I see when I look at the topic list is those stickies.
Anyone who doesn't read the stickies and breaks a rule should be held accountable, regardless of their account age.
But what would be nice is to have the Hello! Program completed, and hopefully Jakobo will include something in there about the importance of reading the rules. While I think it would be a step in the right direction, it probably won't help much in the long run. However, at least we'd know there was some effort by Gaian higher-ups to get people to read those stickies.

Arkke I still don't get why n00bs aren't help accountable. GaiaOnline staff do not punish for stupidity. If they did, the population of Gaia would be reduced significantly. If you are talking about reading the stickies, then I have noticed a significant number of "non n00bs" not following the recommendations of the stickies as well.

I got warned once in the politics thread when I mentioned something about Bush winning over Kerry.
Danjel deleted the post then warned me, with the reason of "gloating/trolling" - neither of which I was doing. Oh wells.
I think the only time other than that would be 200000 bajillion years ago when I made a repeat topic, but that wasn't really a warning.

Then perhaps my definition of n00b differs slightly. Someone becomes a n00b in my eyes the second they blatantly break a rule, especially if it's common sense (IE, talking about Halo 2 in AMC).

Most people who post about videogames in AMC are simply lost, not ignorant to the rules. I think that a n00b is someone who refuses to follow the rules after they are made aware of them. Posting about Inuyasha in AMC Main when you simply don't know better? Not a n00b. Posting about Inuyasha in AMC Main and saying "Screw you. Mr. Mod-man can move my threads and I don't care"? n00b.

I can agree with that. But still, there has to be some rational thought going on in there. Being lost makes it sound like they come into AMC, knowing full well that it's called "Anime/Manga/Comics" but post about video games in there anyways because they don't know where the proper forum is. Better communication of forum policies and layout would be nice. Hopefully, when Jakobo finishes the Hello project, that won't be a problem.

Well, I think it was wrong that you were banned, but I can see why they did it. You're often a d**k in a lot of your threads, and you seem to make them for the sole reason that you get pleasure of pissing people off or something similar.
I agree with parts of them at some points, but you always take it to an exrtreme.

Hmm a while back I made my first ever thread and thought that it wasn't a repeat... but obviously it was when I saw it got sent to the Recycle Bin. XD
Anyways... it was about anime endings and how you thought it could have been done better etc,. ...
And in honesty I checked the AMC and I couldn't find a thread similar to mine. Never got a notice or anything on why it was moved but... oh well. I just decided to not make threads most of the time.
XD The only other thread I have made - not my quest thread- is a topic on AIR that I'd been watching about two weeks before it ended.
