Squire IrkallaThis was not going well. The squire of Cosmos had once more let her attention wander away from the task that she, and others, had been assigned to undertake. But Irkalla just could not help herself it seemed. This world, Cybele, was so vibrant with life. The nature enthusiast in her couldn't not stop to just smell the flowers that peppered the area, or stroke the various leaves of the plants. The gossamer white fabric that made up her uniform probably wasn't helping her out at all and Irkalla had to wonder if she was doomed to fail from the start of this hunt. Maybe instead of hunting the jackalope she could begin to hunt down unique plant life instead. She could make a mini game of it while she meanadered. There was, in her own mind, a high percent that she wouldn't catch the jackalope that had been released for them to hunt, so why not enjoy herself on this lovely world in the meantime. Ideally it was a win-win scenario for Irkalla, even if she ended up losing the hunt itself.

Super Sailor Perdita“Hi!” Perdita greeted Connie with a subtle, reserved smile that was no less welcoming for its small size. “I’ve been well, thank you. It’s good to see you again. I don’t often see people I know at these sorts of things.”
Then again, she didn’t often come to these sorts of things. And she didn’t know a lot of people either. Her sporadic involvement in the war meant she had few close contacts, and just as few acquaintances.
But Connie was sweet and Perdita was pleased to see her.
“I think it might’ve gone that way,” she said, though she couldn’t actually be sure the direction she pointed to was correct. Perdita started to follow the path anyway. “I hope you’ve been okay. It’s been a while since the bank. I don’t think I’ve heard of anything big happening since then.”

Super Sailor YmirYmir didn’t mind Surtur’s presence. Surtur could be quiet when the moment called for it, and having him nearby was a bit like having his own bodyguard. No one would harm him (not that today was about harm). No one would bother him if he didn’t want to be bothered (not that anyone else was concerned with that right now). Nothing would trouble him, except that the jackalope had gone and Ymir hadn’t yet succeeded in finding it again.
It would be easier, he was sure, if there were less people. He could hear the rustle of other figures nearby. The sound of a few voices reached his ears. Feet struck the ground a little too loudly. Ymir frowned and sighed and pressed onward, motioning Surtur along, searching for any sign of their quarry.
Inching closer on quiet feet, Ymir dropped his voice to the breath of a whisper. “No one’s going to catch it at this rate.”

Transcended Princess Eternal Sailor GanymedeGanymede suppressed a laugh. She doubted either of them would be catching the jackalope with how rambunctious Eupheme could be, but there wasn’t any harm in indulging her.
Normally Ganymede wouldn’t want anything to think they were associated with one another; the Negaverse could use Eupheme against her if they ever knew. But it was safe here on Cybele, and there were so many others here with them it wouldn’t seem odd at all for someone to see her helping a Chibi Senshi along. No one had to know who Eupheme was.
“Still nothing,” Ganymede said when they’d gone a ways into the woods. Every once in a while she thought she’d seen something, but it was never the specific jackalope they were looking for.Guine Eupheme. Sorry for the lame tags, I feel so gross.

Connie, Squire of Chronos“Oh, yes, I’ve been okay! Well, I almost drowned in some magical puddle in the middle of the street, but other than that, things have been pretty normal,” she smiled brightly despite Perditas friendly reservation. Connie didn’t mind! Not everyone was as cheerful and bubbly, and that was okay!
“I thought it would be fun just to see what everyone has been up to. It’s nice not having to worry about the Negaverse or anything like that here. It’s so pretty! I can’t wait to see who can catch the cute little bunny. Oh, I know it’s not a bunny, but it kinda looks like one and it sounds cuter that way.”
Oh, oops, she was rambling a little.
“Come on, let’s go this way then,” she insisted, reaching out to grab hold of Perdita’s hand and head in the direction she’d mentioned.

Sailor Chibi EuphemeEupheme nodded with understanding. Of course it would be difficult to find the jackalope. There were so many people around! And it didn’t help that she was so short compared to others around them. How could she see anything like this?
So she did what was only natural for a chibi senshi of weightlessness to do, and she tapped into her magic before taking a not too high jump into the air. It wasn’t the fact that she could jump high, but with her magic it seemed as though she was just floating in the air for a little while.
She knew it wouldn’t last for too long, so she wanted to make use of it and look around.
“Not over here either. Oh wow, but look at all the flowers over there,” she gasped again with excitement, even as she slowly descended back towards the ground after several seconds.

Super Sailor Surtur Surtur followed along, admiring the scenery more than actually looking for the jackalope. He was more interested in looking at the world around him, and the people and how they interacted with it, than he was in winning the competition.
“Perhaps it’s better that way,” he hummed thoughtfully as he followed Ymir around the forest. It looked as though some of the wild flowers had already been trampled by animals or people passing through, but some had just been damaged at the stem.
He picked one of the purple flowers up and gently blew the dirt off the petals, before presenting it to Ymir.
“May I?” he asked and nodded towards Ymir’s ear. He wouldn’t touch him without permission.

Reims, Page of Ganymede“Dering!” he sputtered in surprise when Dering suddenly appeared. Well, not suddenly, but he hadn’t expected him to show up.
Reims had lifted his hands to try and catch Dering if he needed help slowing down, but it seemed as though he was perfectly okay on his own, so Reims lowered his hands and rubbed them somewhat nervously on his pants.
“Oh, yeah okay that sounds good,” he agreed, hoping that his ears weren’t so obviously red. “Do you like cheese?”
Okay, he probably should have waited to ask. But he needed to make sure that he wasn’t lactose intolerant or something like that! Oh oops, now his cheeks were burning. It wasn’t a weird question! Maybe weird out of context but!! He just wanted to try and convince Dering that they could still be friends even if, well, Reims had kind of been a jerk to him. At least if what Maisie had hinted at was true, and why would she make something like that up? Reims just wasn’t a hundred percent sure who was who. Especially since Dering was much more lively than, well. Julian and Énna.

Squire Halle of LysitheaAfter a few minutes, Halle realized that he was fairly alone, and very likely had gone in a completely different direction. Which he was pretty okay with. He'd always liked the woods back home, and since moving to DC, rarely got the chance to visit them. Outside of space of course, and how weird was it that he had to go to space to go for a hike in a forest? Ears perked, he started heading toward more rusting and soon, voices. Entering a small clearing, he ran through and nearly missed the familiar colors, the extremely familiar emblem, and the very unfamiliar face that was wearing them. Another Lysithea squire? Freezing, Halle pointed at the other guy, "You-" then noticed the squire was teamed up with someone and probably working hard to catch the Jackalope along with his partner. After a moment, he gave a quick wave to the two and called out, "We're gonna talk later!" Did that come out like a threat? Well. Probably not. He was already off and running toward what he thought might be Mechelen's voice.

As Tjilaki navigated through the foliage, her eyes caught glimpses of the purple ribbon fluttering between the trees. She knew she was getting closer. With each stride, her confidence grew, fueled by the adrenaline coursing through her veins.

Page Ngome With renewed determination, Ngome released the captured jackalope and continued her pursuit. She moved deeper into the woods, her eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of the elusive creature with the purple ribbon. As she ventured further, Ngome spotted a flash of color amidst the dense foliage. Her heart skipped a beat as she cautiously approached, her mind filled with hope and anticipation. ((64))

Sailor Zenobia It wasn't like she could ask anyone for help. This was a competition. She walked through the woods watching other competitors looking around in bushes and behind trees. It was obvious they were looking for something. She then heard cuss. Something about a jackalope. From what she was able to piece together they were looking for a jackalope. The person who cussed was saying something about wrong one. The jackalope in question had a ribbon around it's neck. Zenobia's heart pounded in her chest as she realized what she was supposed to be hunting for - a jackalope with a ribbon around its neck. She hadn't been paying attention during the briefing and now found herself at a disadvantage. But she wasn't one to back down from a challenge. Determined, she quickened her pace, scanning the woods ((136))

Sailor Grieve of GrieveWhatever Grieve had found, it wasn't the ********' jackalope. Tossing the creature aside and ignoring the resulting noise as it refused to be grateful it wasn't her lunch, Grieve stood up on her chosen tree branch and made a tactical decision. When in doubt, go to a higher place. It was time to find a bigger tree.
