Morpheus frowned as he heard the whisper beyond the mirrors that they were trapped in, which was really weird and ironic to him. After all who thought to trap a bunch of dark mirrors in mirrors. He certainly agreed hearing someone day this wasn't the norm. Nothing about this was normal. "Yes, I think we left normal a while ago, after all who traps dark mirror senshi in mirrors that is just weird." Morpheus didn't notice anyone trying to talk to the whisper so he decided to try. "Yes I can hear you, how about telling us what you want??"
As she was (supposedly) complimenting one Dark Mirror’s outfit, more came tumbling in, and Tsukuyomi was rather glad she had moved away from the center, as having another senshi (literally) dropped in on her was far from ideal. One of them (Rana) complained about the mirror taking her crepe, and if it weren’t for the whole absurdity of the situation Tsuyu may have felt there were better things to complain about. Then again, she herself had just cracked a joke about this being a surprise party.
“Your crepe,” she repeated, an unreadable expression on her face, “… Did you want a new one or something?”
Like they’d find a crepe stand here. Personally, she had ice cream at home she had been going to treat herself to for her birthday, not that she needed an excuse to do such, but it had likely melted by now. Shame.
Another Dark Mirror (Hitomi) arrived and had immediately placed an ear to the ground, talking about the noises some of them were hearing coming from… somewhere. Tsukuyomi wasn’t a particularly superstitious person, compared to some of her peers back in her home country, and instead she just frowned slightly. Okay, so this wasn’t Silent Hill like last year, but it looked like they might be in for a ride again either way. Well, it wasn’t as if she had been doing anything else for her birthday!
“Tsukuyomi, Senshi of Kasha,” she said in response to Rana’s introduction, “You know, demon cats that steal the corpses of sinners to drag them to hell?”
She had rather liked her sphere once she had looked it up.
Of course. The one night when Moron (her mirror wraith) was finally showing signs of actually LISTENING to commands with a modicum of understanding, Sansuna had to be interrupted by some Mirrorspace shenanigans. Every time. One step forward, five vacuum-propelled steps tumbling backward through the air.
The senshi had been out gathering energy, casually attempting to increase her affinity with Moron however uncooperative the thing was. The pull was subtle at first, almost a whisper at the edge of her senses. She hadn't been a member of the Dark Mirror Court long, but experience in and out of uniform had taught Sansuna cautious curiosity when those tugs of power manifested. It seemed to be pulsing out of a mirror discarded next to a dumpster in the nearby alleyway.
"So... is this like a distress signal, or what? Not really sure I have anyone chomping at the bit to team up with me anyway, so maybe it's Butt Wings?"
The light force became more of a whirlpool, sucking Sansuna inexorably inward toward the mirror.
"Ah, no choice. This whole senshi thing sure hates to allow us that much, doesn't it. Should I have said Prince Butt Wings?"
The Dark Mirror had just enough time to recall Moron safely before she was whisked into the reflective depths of the portal. A short tumble later and she was spat out into Mirrorspace; thankfully her natural and enhanced agility allowed her to land lightly in a crouch in the middle of an unfamiliar chamber.
She was far from the first here, looking at the other members of the court milling about. Rising to stand at full height, the redhead had a look around. No way out, really. Just a few small mirrors. She could sense something was off, but as usual when they were called together the din of random conversations all over the place made it hard to concentrate. What did stand out was a voice that seemed to come from beyond the mirrored walls.
"That's new, never heard this place talk before."
Sansuna moved to stand near a couple of the tiny mirrors hovering near a wall, noting that Prince Butt Wings was indeed in attendance and looking no more informed about their predicament than anyone else. Not such a great sign... but there it was, that voice again. It sounded plaintive, pleading. The walls of the chamber itself were unyielding, but perhaps the tiny mirrors? Not big enough to step through surely, but a body part would fit.
"Arm first," the senshi muttered, lifting the fingers of her right hand before her eyes and allowing lightning to crackle along the tips.
Safety and all that, never knew what was lurking around in mirrors. Before giving it much more thought she thrust the electrified fist through the nearest mirror, surprised that it passed right through. Certainly wasn't under her own power, something must have activated them as Sansuna couldn't yet mirror walk.
It was noticeably cold where her forearm disappeared into the looking glass, but she could still feel the comforting tingle of her power tickling her knuckles. And alarmingly, something else. It felt as though something was desperately grasping at the senshi's hand, trying to pull it farther in.
"Yeah, no," Sansuna chirped and recoiled, snapping her arm back to this side of reality. "Freaky."
It hadn't necessarily tried to harm her, so... She couldn't see with her hands now could she?
"Let's get eyes on our little supplicant," the DMS muttered, not really waiting to ask permission (she doubted anyone was really paying attention to much beyond conversation anyway).
To think was to hesitate, and to hesitate was to lose out on knowledge. Thus, Sansuna poked her head through the mirror to see what she could see, if anything.

Watching his sister for a moment longer he smiled. She was growing up - he was glad. Their father would no doubt be glad as well. He knew what his children where and while he might have some issues, especially given how far away he lived, he was accepting enough. He had warned them that visiting him and powering up was a very bad idea though, it wouldn't work in a Negaverse run area, as Dark Mirror senshi were unheard of where he was. It would get them corrupted or killed. But he understood what they were and accepted them and that was what mattered, for him anyway.
Remarque was here and with a quick squeeze to senshi of raptors arm he headed off towards their prince. "Remarque." Calling out to their prince, and his boss. "Could this be connected to what I experienced?" He whispered, not wanting others to hear him, even though others had gotten close to Remarque as well. "We could try and find out...talk to the voices beyond...ask if they remember." It was a start and they needed some place to start...something to do. With so many of them gathered here he was certain sokething would happen soon...but what?
"Should we start figuring out what everyones maggic does so we know how to protect people?" He didn't trust things, clearly, and without a plushie to grasp he reached for the princes gossamer fabric to hold onto. "It sounds like something is trying to get out...could it be the same person or someone else...something else." This certainly was creepy and having Halloween just past...it just added to it. How lovely of mirrorspace to decide to turn itself into a haunted house or sorts.
So many of their number had been dragged into Mirrorspace - though some how his sister had missed the memo. He raised an eyebrow at Morpheus. "Lost your memory? Hmm, I stepped into the mirror early 2017, if I remember correctly. I'd say sorry for your loss, but I do not know the circumstances of your memories before," he said with a little shrug. He glanced around the space as more and more senshi dropped in, and then he spotted their Prince. Hydrus gave a little nod to Morpheus, though the other was welcome to follow if he decided to. "Oh thank... Remarque..." he said, trotting over to their prince and sort of just resting his head on his shoulder. "Why does Mirrorspace keep doing this..." He looked at the puppetter prince, voice and face tired. He just wanted to live peacefully okay. He didn't need this stress.
Then something seemed to crawl through the floor and Hydrus's eyes snapped the floor. Oh ******** no, not again, he was not going to be attacked by tentacles or worse. A flash of frigid fear shot down his spine and he swallowed thickly. He just had to think of the 'worse' option. His luck it would be a damn leviathan here to drown him and...
Breathe Hydrus, breathe. You will be useless to everyone if you have a panic attack here. Again.
Oh, good, someone had seen her. The desire to simply allow the floor to consume her rose up, steady and strong, but Asuka buried it behind a polite smile directed at Tsukuyomi.
"Not my best landing, I will admit," she acknowledged, dusting herself off and reaching up to push her hair out of her face. It always seemed to be eager to fall over her eyes, when she was powered up--a little more of the classic onryo look. "But also not my worst. Thank you, by the way! You look lovely too."
She blinked at the other girl (Rana) who joined them, tilting her head to the side.
"That does sound very unfortunate," she acknowledged. "And very rude."
But there were...strange voices, and Askua swallowed, looking aorund.
"Have either of you been in Mirrorspace before? I haven't, so I have...no idea what to expect." She paused, briefly. "Ah, I'm Asuka, by the way. Senshi of the Onryo. If...that's something we do, as part of introductions."
Remarque had little time to process anything before Kiuchi and Hydrus were by him, and though he pushed neither away he stood a bit rigidly, like he didn’t quite know what to do to reassure them.
He nodded to Kiuchi first. “Might be connected to what you experienced, but don’t hold your breath. Mirrorspace likes surprises”
He wasn’t exactly sure if he was hearing anything scratching, and maybe it was his mind playing tricks on him, but he was pretty sure something was moving underneath his feet. “...I’m not sure we’re going to have time to get to catalog everyone’s magic, so just stick close. Keep an eye on the newer Senshi if you can. Just in case they need a little extra help.”
Just in case this turned sour.
He exhaled and glanced to Hydrus as best he could. “Mirrorspace is unpredictable and--honestly, a little shitty. It’ll be okay. Never hurt us before. Sometimes it just forgets what it’s doing. You stay close, too. I’ll keep an eye on you. We’ll be out of here soon.”
Lacerta’s information had been enough to give him a little bit of pause because, well. That was never good. “I don’t know what this place is, but I’ve been all over Mirrorspace. Never found a room we couldn’t get out of. I’ve never seen a room with mirrors so small, but then--Mirrorspace doesn’t usually mess with where I want to go. I was on my way out, but. I guess it had other plans.”
He wouldn’t ever presume to understand them.
“Where did you three come from?” he asked; he wasn’t able to make out any concrete sounds, or really hear the voice, so the only other option he could come up with was trying to figure out if any of them had run into anything before winding up here.

When Hitomi pressed her ear against the floor, the scraping sounded louder, and with her face so close she could feel something shifting beneath them.
The sound was absolutely coming closer, and the floor cracked--right by her face, and quickly seemed to spread around the room. The noise it made was low and unsteady, and it sounded suspiciously like a piece of large ice cracking.
The haze of cold air that was rapidly filling the room helped fuel the illusion a bit, too.
Morpheus’ voice was lost in the mirror; it echoed for what seemed like an eternity. But, the voice answered, despite how distant it sounded. “I want help, please! I want out!”
The mirrors were so small that it must have been uncomfortable for Sansuna to stick her face into it, but if she angled it just right she would have been able to get half her face, maybe.
Beyond the mirror was dark, and there were thousands of small, floating platforms in a haze of dark emptiness. They were broken, white chunks of debris--much like the floor they were standing on now. Amongst them, mirror shards of varying size, but no full mirror. Nothing big enough to pass through on the other side.
There was enough reflecting from some unseen source to see everything, and in the distance, a shadow, moving from one platform to another.
But, the air was so cold. It was easy enough to breathe, but it felt like being drenched in ice water, and it was impossible to look through the mirrors for longer than a few seconds at a time.
Suddenly, as the cold spread spread through the room, some of the smaller mirrors began to crack. Some of them were still glowing, but something seemed incredibly unstable, even with the energy soaking into them.
The frantic clawing at the floor continued--and the crack spread. Thin, hairline fractures, but it was rapidly becoming worse.

It looks like the floor is about to give out. You don’t know who is calling for help, what’s going on beyond the mirror, or what’s happening beneath you, but you need to be ready for anything.
Mirrorspace isn’t going to give you much more time to prepare--whatever’s going to happen is going to happen fast.
There’s still no mirror to walk out of--so you need to be prepared for the fact that the only way out might be down.
...But then, you’re going to have to go through whatever’s trying to crawl up to you, first.
Dark Mirror Senshi of any rank can be drawn into the mirrors; if someone was already in Mirrorspace at the time of the battle, when they attempt to walk out of Mirrorspace they will arrive here. This roleplay will count as a battle, however is completely optional. It does not unlock any new features. The roleplay will be up for ~a week and a half, and there are no penalties for missing out on prompts. Prompts will be posted ~every 48 hours.
Once a character arrives here, they cannot leave until the end of the ORP; ICly this event will last for about an hour. Players will be able to join throughout the roleplay, but all characters will need to arrive ICly before the next post. Any character who joins after the next post must be handwaved that they arrived prior to it.Only Dark Mirror Senshi can participate in this ORP!

The other senshi (Rana) voiced her concern about the situation to which Hitomi frowned. So there was something strange going on. Or maybe the strangeness was normal here. Either way, there was a reason to worry. Once again, she studied the floor. Something big was under there. Something big and moving.
All that worry was momentarily away when they started introducing themselves. Their spheres! There were actually Senshi of legendary creatures from japanese folklore! Sudden wave of excitement rushed towards her, her eyes lighted up and she let out a gasp.
She was ready to exclaim about her japanese heritage and introduce herself but before she could say a word - the floor cracked. Hitomi’s red eyes widened and her attention shot back to the floor. "Whoa," she could only say when she pushed herself up. Instinctively, she moved towards other girls. "I think… I think it's coming out. Like right now." Even in this situation, her voice managed to stay calm or maybe it was the shock that kept her emotions away.
"Mmm, it does. It likes sharing those surprises with us as well." He did wonder if senshi and knight homeworlds and wonders behaved like mirrorspace did, trying to hurt and injure them...almost acting like it didn't like them. Whatever it was though he wouldn't be changing his uniform for anything, he liked the side he was on. Being as small as it was they all felt like family, extended family in some cases, it was nice.
Nodding his head to Remarque's words he turned his focus to Hydrus for a moment. He seemed to be upset about something....
"You ok?" Reaching out to place a hand on the others hsoulder. "We should move towards the larger group. If anything happens it's best...
Though before he could do, or say, more the room started to get cooler and then the cracking on the floor. "We really should move....I don't like the look of the floor." Or the sounds for that matter. This really didn't look so good to him, "Maybe someone is going to break out of wherevber and join us...." Not a very good iodea in his honest opinion, unless it was that poor man he'd encountered.
"If we get out of this...tea and dumplings sounds like a lovely idea." His go to comfort food, along with some simple white rice. And he motioned for Hydrus to join him as he hurried back towards Acubens and her group. "We should get everyone together..." He spoke to the group at large.
For a moment Lacerta registered the feeling of motion underneath her feet. What exactly was going on? Judging by the look Remarque was giving the floor it appeared that it was being felt by probably everyone. Her voice was measured as she replied to his query about what she had been doing beforehand, "I was only checking out the status of mirrors around the city. I hadn't experienced anything odd, unless you count the strange calling sensation that emanated from the mirror I was checking. I almost ignored it but then I was sort of tugged through it. It kinda feels familiar somehow... from something that I experienced when I was still a white moon senshi."
The hairline crack that had appeared was alarming for more than one reason. Her eyes widened as the same temperature drop she had felt on the other side of the mirrors suddenly seemed to permeate this room that they were all trapped in. The small mirrors that cracked drew Lacerta's attention for but a moment before she moved a step instinctively towards Acubens' location. Perhaps the others had the right idea of safety in numbers. But if the floor was weakening, shouldn't they spread out instead of clumping together? Her gaze shifted towards the mirrors that were glowing before hearing and sensing the change in the floor beneath her feet.
Was this a precursor to that strange place from before - from when she had been just a fledging white moon senshi? Lacerta hoped that it was not. That experience had been the thing of nightmares and there had been a chance that had Mel not been there that she wouldn't have made it out.
Remarque didn’t seem pleased with any of this, and the more the mirrors cracked, the more the floor cracked, the more tense he got. There wasn’t anywhere to go. There wasn’t anywhere to run.
His wings twitched behind him, but he didn’t know if there was even a reason to be ready to use them. If something was coming up from the ground, obviously he was going to stay on the ground. He wasn’t going to run away and let anyone else fight for him.
He did not think it was a good idea to keep everyone together, but Kiuchi was gone before he could say anything about it.
He just hoped that whatever happened, they were prepared for it.
“Lacerta, don’t go too far,” he said, because he knew he was ready for--well, just about anything. Mirrorspace had thrown them for all sorts of loops before, and he’d been here for what had to be most of them.
“If there’s trouble, stay close to me.”
Even if he couldn’t summon a mirror for them to pass through, to get out of here, he could at least do some damage and hold whatever off until they found a way to break out of here.
Arnica was not the best Dark Mirror Senshi; he tended to get distracted trying to follow up on mysteries and leads, and he used his ability to mirrorwalk to get into places he shouldn’t have been able to for the perfect scoop, and he didn’t even know that much about Mirrorspace.
So, when he found himself being dragged towards the mirror while he was out tonight, obviously he knew he was going to be punished. He didn’t know if it was going to be a reprimand from Remarque, or something worse, but he was prepared for the worst.
He’d already bristled when he felt the energy signature of a Royal, and then again when he felt so many energy signatures.
...And then he realized that he wasn’t in trouble.
They all were. Maybe.
Judging by the way no one looked happy to be here.

A few small chunks of flooring flew into the air as a long, crystalline talon punctured the ground. It dragged through the floor before the talon disappeared.
A second later, it was replaced by three more.
The frantic scratching again, and then an oversized wraith burst through the ground. Debris scattered everywhere, hurling small pieces in every direction. They could have easily bruised or scratched, and some of them flew across the room with such force that they smashed into the mirrors on the wall and shattered them.
Some were still glowing, supercharged with energy from somewhere.
The wraith was an ugly thing; it was easily the size of an elephant, except it was entirely the wrong shape. It had elongated arms and legs and looked like an oversized rodent, with what appeared to be a jagged beard that clacked against the ground as it was dragged. The creature looked like it was malnourished; its torso would have looked bony if it had skin or bones to show for it. Its snout was long and narrowed, but it had a row of sharp, tiny teeth inside.
This wraith was completely solid, already full of energy. Like other wraiths, it was somewhat transparent, made up of what looked like a thousand little semi-transparent shards that reflected as much as any other mirror. It had an iridescent sheen to it, and its eyes were lifeless and empty.
And yet, it was desperate.
Wraiths did not eat or sleep or breathe, they just existed. Former shells of a once living thing brought into Mirrorspace, this one was an anomaly among them. It was large. It was hostile.
It was looking for energy.
Frantically, it wriggled its way through the hole in the ground, clawing and writhing as it pulled itself up from somewhere below them. A chill spread through the room, and the wraith turned towards the mirrors on the wall and scurried to the closest one. Its long, whiplike tail smacked at the crowd behind it, and it seemed like it was trying to desperately eat the ones that were glowing--the ones that were charged with energy.
There were only so many mirrors before it ran out--and it was stuck in a room full of Dark Mirror Senshi ripe with energy.
It clearly has no regard for them; it didn’t care who it shoved out of the way, or who it hurt in its enthusiasm.
It was only a matter of time before it turned on them, probably.
A wraith that size had no reason to listen to anyone.

A giant wraith has clawed out from underneath the floor! The ground seems incredibly unstable and you should be careful with trying to move too much. The room has filled with an incredibly cold air, and anyone close enough to a hole in the ground might see that there’s nothing beneath it--only a swirling dark mass, and an occasional flash of white debris or broken mirror shards. Anyone who looked through the mirrors before might notice that it seems to be the same image and can infer that they are floating amidst a swirling field of broken mirrors and debris!

Wow it was cold through the mirror! Maybe the energy wreathing her arm before had kept the worst of the sensation at bay, but when Sansuna edged half her face through the chill hit her like a brick. That said, she could still see through that one eye. It wasn't a black void beyond like she'd assumed. Well, not completely anyway.
Mirror shards floated listlessly through the empty space. Occasionally white chunks of debris hurtled by. What was this, some kind of interdimensional trash can? Who'd thrown all this in here? Not that the low level senshi could mirrorwalk on her own or anything, but it just seemed rude all the same to have their haven be left in such disarray. Or maybe that's just how this place was... it was Moron's home after all.
The scratching sound she'd noticed at the back of her mind now grew more ominous and insistent, enough to cause Sansuna to stop looking for the source of the voice. Right as the woman pulled her face away from the tiny viewport of a mirror, the ground they were standing upon cracked and splintered in a spectacular fashion. A claw, probing through the breach... followed quickly by a whole glittering beast. What was that, a giant mirror rat? See, this is what mirror trash attracted: mirror rats. They needed a mirror janitor.
Snarky inner commentary aside, the invader did look like a nasty piece of work. Anything made out of jagged shards would be, really, and somehow through its lifeless reflective eyes it still managed to look unhinged and deranged. It was exactly this lifelessness that made its intentions hard to read, so Sansuna was nearly caught out when it charged the nearest set of glowing mirrors... which happened to be right next to her little window mirror.
Thankfully the Dark Mirror's body knew how to move against threats with little active thought, and she lithely twisted and leapt out of the path of the ravenous wraith. Her landing was uneven, the floor was now unsteady due to the jagged hole through which their tormentor had entered. Below lay the same littered voidscape she'd glimpsed through the tiny mirror. Instinctively, the redhead figured there'd be no talking the monster down. Maybe Butt Wings could, but she wasn't about to wait to find out.
Lightning crackled brightly along Sansuna's right fist as she clenched it, coiling her legs into a crouch and tensing. She only really knew one style of negotiating, and it was aggressive. Besides, for all she knew this thing was Moron's lame father or something and had taught him all of his disobedient character flaws. Someone had to pay for that.
"Let's see how you like this, Moron Senior!" the senshi challenged, firing upward into an impressive arc and trailing a jagged line of flickering bright energy. "Chew on a Flashing Strike!"
Sansuna brought her fist downward as she began to fall right toward the giant wraith's head, using both gravity and her own strength to bring as much power to bear as she could. After all, she could normally only manage maybe one of these attacks on demand. Any more tended to make the lightning wild, either overloading or fizzling completely. Best to try and explode the thing in a single go.
The Space Cauldron
Lightning cats are great at hunting mirror rats, right? Rock paper scissors thing?
Acubens tried to believe Kiuchi’s reassurances. She wanted to believe him… and somewhere deep down she supposed that she did. It was just the how that concerned her. How could they possibly keep everyone safe? The events of that terrible battle in the park replayed itself in her head. She’d failed then. Failed so badly. She wouldn’t fail again. She couldn’t.
Beneath them, the scratching was getting louder. She had been silently listening this whole time, a completely unnatural reaction for her. She knew that her brother and her closest teammates noticed the shift in her personality. She could tell the way Tegmine kept glancing at her. The way Logos fixed her with a look of consideration. She gazed right back at the smaller woman, her lips a tight line, trying to communicate her own confusion as calmly as possible.
It did not help that Remarque, who knew more about Mirrorspace than anyone, was as lost as the newest in the court. They now had no one to defer to. No one to ask for directions.
They were all blind.
Remarque had faith that the Mirror provided for them, and Acubens couldn’t disagree. Every time they needed something, the Mirror had provided it. But Acubens also couldn’t deny that it had a decidedly cruel way of presenting those things that they needed the most. It always ran them through gauntlets. It always tested them. It always required them to prove that they were worthy of those things.
Just once she wished that it would just hand them whatever they needed.
Just as she was making her wish, the Mirror answered. It answered, as it normally did, with a test.
Acting on instinct, Acubens grabbed the senshi closest to her and pulled them away from the center of the room. As she did, debris struck her across the back, leaving superficial but no less painful scrapes in their wake. She cursed loudly, turning furiously to sneer at the wraith as though her war face would do anything to deter it from attacking her court.
Around her, she noticed some mirrors cracking, others breaking, and still more still glowing brightly. Glowing mirrors, in her line of work, was seldom a good thing.
“The mirrors,” she gasped, “it’s being powered by the mirrors.”
She had to think quickly and act even quicker.
“Break the mirrors,” she said simply, scooping up chunks of floor and smashing the glowing mirrors around her. “Logos, go around the side of the room and pick up Rana. She’s alone with a couple of other basics, and they need some help. Spread the word.”

Acubens is breaking glowing mirrors around her with debris
Logos only had time to process that something had broken through the floor before Acubens flung her backwards, sending her crashing against the wall. She made a small sound of surprise before she finally focused back on what had happened.
Right.
This was why she used Mirrorspace as a mode of transportation only.
“Logos,” Acubens voice cut through her fear, giving her something to latch on to. She was being given orders. Good. Break the mirrors. Go help Rana. Got it. She grabbed a hunk of debris on her way, smashing the mirrors she could find along the way. Occasionally, she could also get in a good hit at the wraith with her super level attack.
When she arrived at Rana’s location, she was panting and out of magic, but she delivered her message to the three senshi who had gathered.
“The mirrors might be powering the wraith. Break them.”
To make her point she smashed the nearest glowing mirror.
Logos Double Helix Whip
Logos calls her attack and spins in a quick circle. As she does this, a magical ribbon-double helix made of energy appears in her hand. She can use this ribbon as a whip and strike out at opponents from a distance of about ten feet. Once the ribbon hits someone, they will experience increased symptoms of vertigo for 35 seconds and can now hit up to 3 people in succession. Possible effects include dizziness, headaches, nausea, vomiting, and loss of balance. Logos can use this attack twice times per battle.

Logos is breaking glowing mirrors around her with debris on her way around the room. She’s also using her attack when she can.
The explosion sent Tegmine toppling backwards, slamming his head against the wall behind him. After a moment of swimming vision, Tegmine recovered himself and snatched the two senshi near him (Loke and Sadalsuud), pulling them against the wall as well. All vestiges of his previously goofy facade were gone now, replaced with something a great deal more concerned. Before him, a literal eldritch horror rose from the depths, seemingly hell bent on escape no matter what it did to them.
And he wasn’t really that keen on thinking about what it would do if it did escape.
Across the room, he glimpsed his sister breaking glowing mirrors around her. He wasn’t sure why, but she’d been here longer than him so… when in Rome, right?
“Acubens is breaking glowing mirrors,” he gasped. “Maybe we should be doing the same?”
He didn’t wait for a response, and instead followed his sister’s lead.
The earth exploded and Rana was sent careening back against the wall. Debris hit her as she crashed, adding further injury to her already pretty well scraped up body. The wounds, she figured, were all superficial, but they certainly stung. She’d even be sporting a long red scrape on her cheek for a while as well.
She checked in with the senshi around (Asuka, Hitomi, and Tsukuyomi) her to make sure they were all okay.
“W-what do we do,” she stammered, scrambling against the wall for purchase as she tried to flee, all while knowing full well that she could not.
It was then that Logos arrived.
“The mirrors might be powering the wraith. Break them,” she said in her usually simple way. Rana heard her, but she could make no move. Even when Logos broke one herself as though to demonstrate, Rana couldn’t move. She was too afraid that if she did, she’d gain the attention of whatever had broken through the floor. She was afraid that it’d zero in on her.
