Roll Total: (1)Orias had been on his way to find Atty with his new prize in tow. The longer he held the scarf, the more he strutted. He exuded a nearly sickening amount of self-confidence. It was harder to move unnoticed along the ground out in the open and away from the tables, but still leagues easier than avoiding animal control when he'd lived in the alleys. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught what appeared to be a vintage television cabinet being wheeled away. Something he could appreciate, he considered the television at home his second-best friend. All at once there was a peal of thunder and the lights winked out, quickly followed by a rushing sound and a seemingly sourceless vacuum of wind. "What the-" Orias started in surprise, his words thankfully whisked away on the drone of the vortex. Before he knew what was happening, the whole world seemed to tilt on its side for just a moment... then stabilize. It was quickly apparent that nothing was the same, however. For one, the Mauvian was now staring at wiggling fingers rather than paws. He thought maybe the strange incident had caused his humanization device (he HAD to think of a catchier name for the thing) to malfunction, but a quick inspection revealed that his ears and tail were missing. Well that was just embarrassing, not to mention he felt strangely naked without them. Until he noticed the scarf, that was. It had come along with him, and quickly filled him with further confidence as he realized that at least his usual dapper clothing had come with this new form. The accessory complimented the ensemble perfectly. "AAAAAAH!" came a high-pitched shriek from close by, giving a short jolt of pain to Orias's sensitive hearing and drawing his attention to his new surroundings rather than his new self. The world was grainy, like an old photograph. The source of the irritating shout was a woman who looked like she'd posed for Housewife Monthly back in 1949. There was a whole crowd of people, in fact, in the town square in which the boy found himself. Many of the women were dressed similarly, and the men were looking sharp in suits and hats. Their attention was uniform, however, in varying degrees of alarm and horror at something behind Orias. The cat-turned-human swiveled on his heel, beholding what could only be described as an army of wind-up robot invaders straight from the adverts in ancient comic books. Clear domes on the head, sparks emanating from the antennae jutting from their temples, clawed arms held forward, classic stiff-legged Frankenstein march... One simply had to take a moment to admire how adorable and outdated it was. More alarming was the wave of crackling blankness that seemed to be swallowing the world behind the army. In the other direction, the same way the crowd was fleeing, was what looked like a tear in reality. It definitely seemed to lead somewhere. Orias had an inkling as to what might have happened, but just to be sure he needed a second, slightly less sober opinion. Reaching to the small of his back and into his sash, he was relieved to find the tiny travel champagne he stored for emergencies. These really were his clothes! Uncrewing the top and downing the miniature bottle in one swallow, the Mauvian nodded to himself. The void? Static. The grain? Bad vertical sync. The tear? Another channel, obviously. While his home television was a member of the family, the relic from the auction was obviously a crotchety old coot. "Curse you, you dusty cathode gobbler!" he shouted skyward, adding a shaking fist for emphasis. His response was the crowd shoving past in a trampling horde in their attempt to flee the robots. Orias was battered about, shoved aside, and generally waylaid by the hysterical suburbanites. "Excuse me, but I am a MAN!" the boy howled indignantly, jabbing an accusatory finger at a sprinting woman in a fetching sunhat. "I know how this works. Ladies, stand aside. Make way!" The tirade was rather ineffectual, seeing as how most of the crowd was past him and only a few stragglers and the marching tin cans lay between him and the encroaching static. At this distance, a rumbling droning could be heard coming from the machines. It made Orias's eyeballs ache. Thankfully, the cleared area gave him a clear view of someone very familiar: Regula in his monkey suit. He still looked like a dork, but the built man was his dork. The teen scurried over, skidding to a halt in front of the senshi. "Atty!" he exclaimed with a grin. "I only get one chance to make a first impression with this. Ignore the robots and the crazy people." He struck a pose. "Just how damn good do I look with this scarf?!" Another rumbling, grating tone from the robots made his teeth chatter while he stuck his fingers in his ears. "I'll accept a pending review of how awe-inspiring my appearance is, the machines obviously can't appreciate it. I vote for the crazy metaphysical channel hop over there. We can literally channel surf!" On a whim, Orias hurled his tiny empty champagne bottle at the nearest bot's foot. It shattered pathetically and ineffectively. Worth a try though.

As someone who had just been complaining of the heat, the just that blew though the room was not unwelcome to Nataniel. Odd, for sure, as though someone had opened all the doors and windows at once, but not unwelcome. The clamor of the lights flashing and the thunder rolling was echoed by gasps and squeals of nearby people started by the sudden darkness or the loud, ominous noise.
...But it was only thunder. Nataniel didn't think anything of it. He continued about his business of pouring a shot of vodka into his punch and sipped idly at the drink.
The lights flickered back on, and it was almost as if life was the reel in an old television show, with flicks of black scratches and static through it. Nataniel blinked, briefly confused, and shot a curious look at his drink- but no, that was foolish. He'd only taken a sip. And Destincy City behaved oddly all the time, whether under the influence of alcohol or not.
As the people around the began pointing, screaming, and running, Nataniel slipped his arm around December's. "We should move too," he rumbled lightly. Whatever was back there may or may not have been a problem, Nataniel couldn't say.
But the bodies around him certainly felt solid and real. When they bumped him, hey staggered, Nat staggered. His drink spilled. One person was not dangerous, but a hoard of frightened people always was. What they were frightened of might be fine, but being trampled was not something Nataniel was interested in. "Let us move before we get lost in everyone around us." He gave a tug on December's arm, and started to pull the younger man through the crowd.
Kapoodles And because Nat actually posted twice in between Des' posts (whoops), a second quote.

Chihaya LockhartAh what an interesting turn of events Chihaya mused. She was going to be forced to attending a ball or something but as she arrived things seemed to have changed. Chihaya's face was hidden by the veil she was wearing but maybe that was for the best as no one would have to see the weird smile she was making as she was nearby the robots. This was much more interesting than going to some ball... oh right she should be trying to survive from this... Better get moving though moving around in her dark attire might prove to be difficult with these people shoving everyone.

Group Total: 2Ezekiel Tucana and Yolanda HydrusZeke's eye flicked to the television as it turned on, blue eyes reading it befortte the young man's mirthful outlook shifted and he suddenly shot an arm around Yolanda defensively. Zeke didn't feel afraid of the machine, but then, he knew magic wwas ever afoot and his arm latched to his cousin, sinewy muscle visible under his skin as he turned protective. Immediately as the world changhed around them, the elegant man's jaws ]iclenched as he snarled deep in his chest, an almost inhuman sound from the man. Thank the gods his father wasn't present, he mused, before moving, teeth baring in agiitation as they danced over the robot army. He was already protective, and duckedm, herding his far daintier cousin along swiftly as he moved to look for an escaope, arm firm upon Yolie's shoulders. Exzekiel Tucana broked no fight. Yolie didn't argue Zeke's movement. He was generally the most aggressive onmew, the hunter, ther predator, and she was ever the gen tle soul. Much liker her mother, her father had often assured her, but that didn't mean she wanted to leave anmyone unprotected. And Sailor Dubhe was a healer, so Yolie looked for hiding places. "Shouild've brought a coat." She remarked, and Ezekiel looked to her. "Oh?" "Mmmm. I'll tear my dress if I can help." She confessed. Ezekiel considered, then nodded. "Ah. Rolling for Lori Croix~ Total Points: 10
Lori had spent most of her day at the charity event. There had been a few items that caught her interest for the silent auction. In particular, there was lovely faberge egg that she couldn't let escape her possession. Normally, silent auctions and charity events were more Landry's speed. While she did attend them, she was more inclined to enjoy the free drinks and wonderfully dolled up guests. This item though, was definitely worth her time and money. The fact it was for charity was just a nice little cherry on top of the sundae.
She was pleased when she had been announced as having the highest bid and given a receipt for her order. Rather than carry it around all nice and cause an accident, she made sure it would be delivered to their home. With the auction over, it was time for the ball. More people were beginning to crowd in now, all of them dressed to the best of their ability. There are definitely a lot of eye candy around. Plenty to help distract her from the fact that Daphne was unable to join her for the event.
Speaking of significant others though, was that Gryph she spotted? He was so tall and stood out in the crowd. She spotted Landry next and couldn't believe her eyes. She marched over to him and stopped right in front of her twin.
"What do you think you're wearing?" Neither of them had talked about their outfits for today. Yet, ironically they managed to match without even trying. Landry in a golden silk shirt and Lori in her own short silky golden dress. "I don't know how you managed this but it's insane." He did look good though, they both did. So was there really any reason to be mad about it.
"By the way, I got something in the auction. I know you won't mind!" She handed him a pamphlet from the silent auction earlier. If he flipped through it, he's noticed that she circled the item she had won. "It should be delivered tomorrow. Well, I'm getting out of here. I don't want to be seen as those twins that dressed the same again. Enjoy your time together you two. I'm going hunting for some drink." As quickly as she had arrived in front of them, she was gone again. Drifting through the crowd looking to mingle with someone attractive and single looking.
She had found her drink and was wandering around the ball room floor when everything shifted around her and the world went crazy. The lighting around her was different. No longer artificial from lights above her. Yet, it didn't seem real either as she looked around her. There were people from the ball, yet mixed in with them we citizens straight from some dated time. And then they were screaming and pointing. One quick glance behind her showed 'robots' in the distance.
They looked so horribly cheesy that she didn't really feel any immediate sense of danger. Surely, this was just some sort of show. However, the people around her were panicking and everyone was running away. She might as well avoid getting run over by everyone.
It wasn't long before she was pressed through some sort of tear in space. She didn't feel any fear really, she was more fascinated by what was going on around her. She loved a good cheesy, horror movie. It was even better to be caught up in one.

Rolling for Jason McClayre~ Total Points: 7
Jason always ended up a big events like this when they happened in Destiny City. While he did have a fairly influential family in some circles, he usually came to such things because of work. And so he was there, with his camera in tow to get snag some pictures of the ball. He'd write up the article when he got home.
Since he would be stuck there mostly doing work, he didn't want to bother Nischal to come with him. They wouldn't be able to have much fun with Jason snapping pictures the whole time and talking to various guests. He hadn't managed to do much work at all before things went typically south for a DC event. They lived in quite the quirky little town.
Everything around him changed in a flash and suddenly he was caught up in a crowd of people. All of them screaming and running in the opposite direction. It didn't take long for him to spot the robots that were in the distance and he turned with the crowd to run. He tried to keep his camera safe even as everyone around him was elbowing him and trying to trip him up.

Ciel Karpusi (9)There was a sensation that caught Ciel's attention, like a gust of wind. She looked around to see if someone had opened a door. She noticed that the antique tv from the auction had been turned on but she didn't pay it much attention.
Then the lights went out and a loud thunder clap made Ciel jump a little. It didn't take long for the lights to come back on but the roomed seemed to be spinning around the white haired woman. She closed her eyes as she got dizzy from everyone moving too fast around her.
When her purple eyes opened again they were greeted with a strange site. Gone was the ball room she had been in, in fact gone was all of Destiny City. Instead she seemed to be in some old timey city, like she would see in some classic movie. She saw people dressed like they had stepped right out of the Godfather. The sounds around her seemed a bit muted. "Something magical is going on." She said under breath to Jolene.
Then as if this was some b-movie everyone on the street turned and pointed at what appeared be a cheesy looking robot army. Although the robots didn't seem too threatening the strange white static that followed them was. "Come on we should move now." She said to her younger friend as she noted the crowd beginning to run away from the robots in a veritable stampede. She moved quickly managing to keep ahead of the crowd. She followed the pathway out of this city until she felt like she could look back to see what was happening behind her. That was when she noticed that Jolene was no longer with her.

Felicity Total 3
She'd perked up to the term of endearment--though it was, certainly, one she'd stared at him like he had three heads over when she first heard it. Originally, she'd thought he'd mispronounced bangarang from that old Hook movie she'd randomly seen as a kid. It'd taken not only his explanation, but a few Google searches to confirm he wasn't shitting her before she came to accept and rather enjoy the term.
Especially finding it also, apparently, meant gold.
Felicity hummed, letting her gaze roam over the room and its lively chatter. "Well, if you like my company, you'd best get used to such opportunities~" She had her own expectations, after all, of those she enjoyed spending her time with.
A slender brow quirked, and she tilted her head slightly. "Oh, those sound cute. You know, if you want some decorating assistance, I'm happy to lend a hand." The Rift wasn't exactly very welcoming to her, much to her annoyance, but she had found it to be rather beautiful in its creepy atmosphere. Still, the idea of living in there was... well. It had to be like living in a haunted house year round, ick! Some proper nesting and decoration was a must.
During their conversation, she'd missed when the commotion first began--from where they were standing, the old television perhaps wasn't even visible really--but the sudden gust that blew threw snagged on her hair and dress alike, making her yelp and drop her drink to throw down a hand to keep her slit skirt from flying around too much. Her other arm remained linked to Jai's, clinging all the harder as the world shifted, lights flickered on and off... she blinked her eyes rapidly first at the weird warped way everything looked then...
"U-um... what the <********> She gaped, staring about them as they went from evening in a room to... midday, outside, in a super retro city. "Cute dresses, but what the hell," Felicity mumbled, looking somewhat around while also trying to keep an eye out for her mother--
--then screaming started.
And retro as hell robots came marching out. Everyone was screaming and running, and while she wanted to laugh, the weird... reality eating static behind them had her quick to grab hold of her clutch in her free hand and start to bolt while trying to hold tight to Jai.
Which, for a little bit seemed okay! Until they got further down the road, and Felicity snarled as some random chick's elbow caught her in the side, the press of people getting thicker and harder to work through. She glanced behind her, pulse buzzing at the sight of how close the robots were, s**t! "Get out of my way, you freaking idiots!" It was only then that she realized the buzzing in her ears wasn't so much her pulse but... a weird... low, icky, crushing pulse that seemed to be coming from the robots. Ugh, great.

Ashley WilliamsTotal = 9Ashley had been considering trying to see if she perhaps could find Alexandre again whilst she waited on Harriet to finish up with paying for her auction win. She knew that the blond was around somewhere from their conversation earlier - and conversation with Alexandre had been a lot more fun than the vague small talk here that she had participated in here and there in order to be polite.
The antique television had gone unnoticed - after all there was a lot of people around and it wasn't the sort of thing that she was particularly interested in–
The strange gust of wind that had suddenly started up on the other hand did not - although a gust wind in a room where there was previously none was harder to miss - especially when said wind was being accompanied by a strange tugging-like sensation.
Grey eyes narrowed, Ashley's first thought for Harriet as she started to make her way over to where she'd seen her sister last–
Only to find what sounded suspiciously like thunder rumbling overhead as every single light chose that particular moment to switch themselves off.
Then there were the images, distorted images that flickered strangely as they rushed by too fast to actually focus on–
And it was hard to tell how long Ashley found herself caught up in the middle of the images, but when at last things finally cleared, it was clear that she was no longer in the building.
In fact she didn't appear to even be in Destiny City, but rather in some sort of place that probably wouldn't have looked out of place in the fifties or thereabouts.
Ashley glanced around the dated buildings in an attempt to try and find her sister and found Harriet nearby gaping up at the sky - the very much not evening sky - at the same time that she picked up on the sounds of what sounded like some sort of commotion.
It was a commotion, men in suits and woman in floral dresses rushing in their direction and they were being chased by... Robots?
Ashley spent a moment and then two taking in the scene before closing the remaining distance between herself and her sister and reaching out to grab her by the arm.
She gestured briefly at the crowd in answer to Harriet's startled question, relieved that for once Harriet didn't ask questions on seeing the crowd and robots, but instead let her tug them into a run towards what appeared to be a gaping chasm in the opposite direction.Quote: Ashley is open for interactions

Harriet Williams(Total = 8 )Harriet didn't have a clue what was going on - one minute she had been patiently waiting to pay for and pick up the item that she had won in the silent auction and the next some sort of wind was suddenly blowing up from out of absolutely no where - well at least not anywhere that she could see–
And then the lights had up and died.
And then there had been the thunder and the weirdly distorted images that had rushed by far too fast for her to actually focus on.
A part of Harriet had wondered if it was somebody's strange idea of joke - but if so then it was a very, very unfunny one.
Eventually things had settled, but it hadn't made anything any less strange and she had found herself staring at the dated-looking buildings that she had found herself in the middle of - and the way that it suddenly appeared to be around noon in wide-eyed startlement–
Well, that is right up until the point that Ashley had appeared from, well somewhere, and grabbed her by the arm.
"What...?" She'd started, but the rest of the question had died out unasked as her eyes had glanced in the direction that her sister was gesturing in and taken in the crowd that was heading their way–
And maybe if it had just been people in the crowd she would have said something - would have at the very least asked Ashley if she had any idea of just what on earth was going on.
It wasn't just people though - there were robots as well - robots that Harriet didn't really want to get tooo close to given the way that it looked like they were chasing the men and woman running towards them–
Which is why she didn't quibble as Ashley tugged her in the opposite direction.
Questions would just have to wait - at least for the moment.Quote: Harriet is open for interactions

Arian Laith(Total = 1)Arian's shoulders tensed as a wind decided to suddenly spring up from out of nowhere, because he'd been to enough events in the city where strange things had happened - and a wind springing up from out of nowhere certainly fit the classification of strange. He started to glance around for Anxo and for his cousin, but by that point there was rumbles of thunder from somewhere overhead and the lights had all died– And if all of that wasn't strange enough, there was also the images, distorted ones that had flickered past too fast for him to make any details out. It was hard to tell how long the images had rushed past him, but once everything had finally stopped it was become clear pretty quickly that he was no longer at the charity benefit - and not just because it suddenly appeared to be noon - at least if he was going by the sky. Not that Arian had any idea where he was, or if he was alone, or... The sounds of screaming from somewhere behind him distracted him from his perusal of the dated buildings that he appeared to be slap bang in the middle of, Arian starting to half turn– Only to have the breath knocked out of him as someone ran into him. Arian stumbled and almost fell, managing to barely recover his balance, only to be elbowed in the side by someone else running past - and then the rest of the crowd was upon him, more elbows finding their way into his side as more and more people ran past and away from.. From... Arian's eye's widened from beneath glasses that had miraculously managed to stay on his face as he took in the approaching robots and the white static that appeared to be dissolving things. Yet another person knocked into him as he turned, because whilst he didn't have a clue on what was happening Arian had a feeling that the white static was probably not a good thing, feeling an almost crushing feeling wash over him as he did his best to put some distance between himself and the robots– And then a hand was wrapping round him and suddenly tugging him forwards, Arian's startled eyes meeting those of his cousin before she yelled at him to run. Saffron Laith(Total = 10)Saffron had no idea what had just happened, or why she was now in a place that looked like it wouldn't have been out of place in the fifties - but she did know that she didn't like it.
She remembered a strange wind suddenly springing up and the lights suddenly going out - and if all that wasn't bad enough then there had been noises that were reminiscent of thunder and strangely distorted images rushing around her–
But that was then and this was now - and whilst she had no idea where here was - here was most certainly not the charity benefit.
"Arian? Anxo?" Saffron wondered if the two of them had been pulled to wherever here was because the two of them had been at the charity benefit too.
"A..." Her voice trailed off at the sounds of screaming coming from somewhere behind her, eyes widening as she took in the crowd running towards her and the robots that were chasing the crowd.
They were far enough away that she could have outrunned them, probably would have outrunned them if not for the fact that it was at that moment that she'd spotted the silver of Arian's waistcoat as someone knocked into her cousin.
Saffron turned and waded into the crowd, because despite the current issues between her and Arian, he was still her little cousin, receiving a couple of elbows herself for her trouble as she made her way over to her dark-haired cousin, hand reaching out to grab his arm as soon as she was close enough.
"Run" she told him as did her best to tug him forward, grip tight on his arm as she didn't want to lose him to the crowd or to the robots or to whatever that white stuff that seemed to be also heading in their direction.
She thought that she saw Anxo too amongst the crowd as she and Arian continued to move forward and away from the approaching robots and Saffron did her best to use her spare arm to wave at him to run too.Quote: Saffron is open for interactions

Mi-Hi Harrington(Total = 3)Whilst Mi-Hi had been aware - at least superficially - of the fact that there was a Charity benefit and ball happening today, she wasn't amongst those attending.
She'd been working tonight on the late shift, although it probably wouldn't have made much difference even if she hadn't been working late–
After all events like the Charity benefit were kind of out her league and it was doubtful that she would have had the sort of funds to bid on any of items at the silent auction that was being held in tandem with the ball.
Mi-Hi sighed a little wistfully as she tiredly picked her home, a part of her half wishing that she had been at the benefit instead of the long hours on shift because the benefit had sounded awfully glamorous - just like that hospital charity ball a couple of years back had been–
Although she'd managed to attend that particular one.
She'd been looking first left and then right in anticipation of crossing the street, when a strange gust had suddenly sprung up from out of nowhere as it pulsed around her.
It was followed by a strange rushing sensation - almost like a vortex - and strange flickering images that rushed by too quickly for her to make sense of.
There had even been thunder rumbling from somewhere overhead, even though there had been no mention of storms on the weather report earlier on in the morning.
It was hard to tell just how long it all went on for, but when things finally settled Mi-Hi found herself somewhere that most definitely didn't appear to be Destiny City–
Well at least not a Destiny City as she was used to.
Green eyes blinked owlishly at the dated buildings and the way that the sky had brightened - almost as if it was midday.
She hadn't had long to take things in however as someone had started screaming from somewhere behind her, a strangely dressed citizenry descending en mass in her direction, followed by–
Robots?
It took a while for it to sink that yes she really was seeing robots and by then the crowd was on her, elbows jabbing at her as they pushed past her, knocking her backwards and closer to said robots who were emitting some sort of pulsing that left her feeling such a crushing sensation that Mi-Hi knew that she didn't want to get any closer - in fact she was already far closer than she would have like.
The only logical thing appeared to make a run for it, Mi-Hi turning in the direction that the rest of the crowd appeared to be heading in as she did her best to make her way towards what appeared to some sort of gaping chasm - and whilst Mi-Hi couldn't say that she was exactly thrilled to be heading towards a mystery chasm, it did at least seem to be heading away from the robots–
And right now she would most definitely take a mystery chasm over approaching robots - well at least these approaching robots.Quote: Mi-Hi is open for interactions

Not that Cabhan could entirely object to the notion--it had been a while since he'd been to any larger social gathering and the vast majority of his time lately had been occupied by his studies. Or patrols. But that was something Jericho knew plenty of, with both graduates of Romano's living within the same apartment.
Cabhan was still relatively sure he knew who to thank for the whole thing, as it wasn't the agent's priority to keep tabs on the youth. Or maybe it was, and Cabhan just hadn't realized he'd been 'reassigned.'
Dressed in a cute dark blue and gold-thread accented button-up shirt with constellations and geometric patterns across the fabric, dark pants, black boots, and a cute geometric and astronomy themed mini backpack, the young man felt excited to be out among the crowd. Even more so to have been able to stay after the auctions for the ball after. Not that he had the money for the former, anyway. Mostly, he stuck around Jericho and his family, enjoying the food, conversations, and ample people watching.
It was perhaps the only reason that he caught even a glimpse of what sort of happened. He saw the television screen flicker, saw the static before the lights in the whole room went out and his eyes went haywire.
A strong hand gripped his upper arm and Cabhan stumbled, head spinning as the sounds of the room shifted. The ambiance of the room was thrown way off. As his eyes cleared, he realized why with a slight laugh. They were... outside..? "Um... was this... planned?" He glanced up towards Jericho as he spoke softly, noting the other's clenched jaw and hard eyes, taking that as a decisive I don't know.
Not that Cabhan had ever heard of the Negaverse having anything that could deal in time travel-- or uh. Robots..?
Before he could properly begin to explore things--how authentic were the people's outfits? The scenery? Could he interact with it?--Jericho shoved him hard, pushing the smaller youth up into the crowd that was screaming and shouting, running from the robots and the all-consuming static. "Oh! It's like the Stephen King novel, The Langoliers!" Not that the other man was listening much, nor could he. Cabhan was quickly caught up among the others of the crowd, up among the front even as Jericho fell behind.
Searching for his family, Cabhan assumed.
Aware that if he tried to fall back, he'd only get yelled at, Cabhan pressed on, trying to ignore the jostling elbows and shoving from those around him. He looked towards a young woman near him and tried to catch her attention, waving a hand instead of attempting to grab her arm or something--that'd just be rude. "Hey! Any idea how this happened?"

Hux ~ Rolls: 6Hux had nodded along with Alex at his opinions on the auctioned of items, agreeing with his assessment, but had stiffened slightly and gave the shorter man a quick sharp look at the mention of someone from 'work'. He relaxed again when the looked revealed that his cousin wasn't distressed in anyway and gave a smile to him. "I would be happy to meet her if we run into her." The blond said, perfectly content to follow Alex's lead on who he should meet and frankly curious himself. However before any other conversation could happen the world shifted to old times, static, and screams. He took one look at the robot army heading their way and the static making things disappear then grabbed for Alex to try and not get separated in the crowd. The first grab however missed as he got jostled around by the panicking crowd and he let out a hiss when an elbow ended up jamming into his side. Still he was able to fight back over to Alex for the moment and grabbed for his smaller cousin's arm again hoping he would manage it this time.
