Blair stopped moving the glass as the brimm touched her lips, his defeastest comment hitting her like a pile of bricks. Her fingers clenched the glass cup in her grip as she seemed frozen in time, her grasp only tightening as he continued to speak. As he talked about them just relaxing and enjoying themselves she loosened up but then came the wrecking ball. The petty attitude of theirs that had a way of shattering simple moments, making everything as he just stated “more complicated”. Blair, like Medusa, lost control of herself, her fingers tightening around the glass in such a strong and sudden motion it shattered, the alcoholic liquid splashing onto the counter as he walked away. Anger boiled in her veins as she help back a “fine” between her tongue.

Her eyes fell onto the bartender as he was the only one to notice her break the glass, his eyes rolled as a silent sigh left his lips. However, he shot her a look that she had no way of mistaking its meaning “You are being stupid. Don’t make it worse” or something along those lines. Surely knowing the bartender there was more colorful language involved.

Fortunately for one with aura, whatever cuts the glass had made on her hand healed as she stretched the same hand out as she jumped out of her seat and took quick long strides to Hades, her fingers wrapping around the tips of his own, however, the slipped and her hand fell out of his. ”Z-zane….” Her voice cracked. Why had she called him that? Despite learning that it was his birth name quite some time ago, she had yet to ever call him by it. She did not do so to mock, or to rile him further, it was done to get his attention.

”One dance….” She quickly followed up before he could say anything. ”If you are still pissed after.…” Well did she have to say the rest? She would let him be the rest of the night. Blair was trying to apologize again, but this time, she wasn’t going to rely on words. She had a way of screwing words up….

  • Zane? ZANE! Did she really just call him by his weird name. His eyes widened as he couldn't believe she would stoop to using such a move. However, it wasn't anger that he was feeling. It was something different. Pity? Understanding? Remorse? It was unclear. Whichever it was, he would turn around and give her what she wanted. She wanted one dance? He was going to give her one dace. Would it be enough. He would simply nod at her request as they would get ready to dance. He was too pissed to understand what she was doing. Apologies could be made by other means besides words. money. New villians brought in both. For now, he was just a Hades who was done with the night.

Ghost noted her relax as he did, still maintaining proper posture, but seeming to go at ease. He wonder how much her guard was truly down; was it a ploy, a trap, or genuine? He couldn't know for certain so early. Nor could he know, for now, how versed she was in deceiving others. So he just toyed with the thought in his mind for fun, imagining if their were a sudden attack on her end and how he could react to counter it. While it was more for fun than anything, it was always good to have an idea prepared in case the unlikely event occurred. He did not catch her her assigning cards to others but his eyes were drawn to her cornucopia as she would take out a silver coin when he offered the paper for her. He would look to her, intrigued, with a slight smile playing at his lips. 'A coin...how fitting. I doubt she knows my fondness for such things, but it is interesting this is what is offered.' He thought to himself silently, knowing it was more coincidence than anything but still intrigued. As she held it out, he assumed he should take it but he waited for now, she would reach out with her other hand take the paper from his...but also lightly caressing his palm with her nails as she did, and her gaze seeming to be on him. Or so it felt, her eyes masked by her blindfold, at least. He could only assume she was holding eye contact, as feeling of being watched were rarely just paranoia.

He did not visibly react to her caress, save the slightest twitch of his own hand from the feeling of slight goosebumps on his arms, the latter masked by his sleeves. He had..not expected it, though it was not an unwelcome feeling. If she could read him, she would see it did catch him off guard. His head would tilt ever so slightly as he gazed at her blind fold, trying to guess where her eyes were. She would speak, with what almost sounded like a purr, that her coin was a means to contact her. Eyes still locked to her, his free hand would move forward above hers...and the coin would seem to disappear. It would happen so fast that unless she were looking that she may not entirely feel or see it happen. His slight of hand skill used for dramatic effect, or so he hoped. She would soon after spread the cards on the table in a fan shape, clearly very practiced in dealing with cards, and have her right hand float over the cards. Almost seeming how a psychic would when she was going to pick a card to find your fortune, or so Ghost thought. And, the hand would stop...before effortlessly feathering out a card and slid it to him. Curious, his eyes would travel back to her blindfold; seeing a curious smile on her lips as she said he would get to see first before he would show her. He would only smile in response, but a thought did cross his mind. 'Is she establishing control? Letting me see first and then showing her...This truly is a game to her, but the stakes of such a game are yet to be seen.' He silently thought to himself as his right index and middle fingers would reach forward, and seeing her own fingers still on the card, gently slide down from knuckle along the length of her fingers to the card before pulling it towards him with those two. Curious to see if she would react more or less than he had when she took the paper from him. And a smile on his lips as he did so.

As he pulled the card to him, he would flip it so that only he could see it. A curious expression would cross his face, as he chose not to try and hide it. 'It seems this is the suite of the night.' He would note to himself before setting the card face down on the table and sliding it towards her. "It seems Lady Fate is with us tonight." He would say with a smile without revealing the card to her, wanting her to see for herself with his hint. His fingers would have withdrawn as soon as it was halfway between them as well, just to keep them even on their physical contact and avoid temptation. He would watch her curiously to see how she would take the result on the card.

His reaction to his name was not surprising, she had seen it coming. At least one thing in the night she was able to foresee… No words come from his lips causing a fear to grasp her heart as she looked up at the man, her blue-green eyes unable to been his golden gaze. She was not worthy to gaze upon a god… not yet… Despite his silence, his answer came as a nod, relief releasing the hold on her heart, a sigh leaving her lips quitely. Blair followed Hades to the designated dancing area, and she waited for him to lead… yes… him lead.

His hands took their position on her hips, as hers rested softly against his shoulder and chest area. It wasn’t till moments like this that she was truly aware of their height difference. Being this close meant that in order to observe his face she really had to tilt up, but for now she did not bother, she didn’t want to see him in a sour mood. A slow inhale prepared her for the dance that was to come, and not long after they took their positions, he began. It was nothing memorable at first as the feel for the rhythm needed to be grasped first. Would it be enjoyable with them both “upset”? There was only one way to find out.

For the first time since they met, Blair gave Hades zero resistance. She had completely submitted herself to his will, to his guidance. His body guiding hers where he pleased. The only thing Blair did on her own accord was to give emphasis to everyone of her movements with her hips. The rough start turned into a smooth motion between two people working in complete tandem with one another. The hands against his chest could feel him begin to relax, the tension from their “fight” getting left behind. He would not see it, but a content flush came to her delicate white cheeks. He could always look past her flaws, her mistakes and most of all, her stubbornness.

His hands moved up hips, one hand resting just underneath her bosom as the other took her by one of her hands and guided her into an outward twirl, pushing her away from him and after a pause she was brought back. The end of the twirl would return her in a different position from where she started, her back was against his, as her arms and his were crossed in front of her chest and waist, a quick kiss to her neck before a small twirl brought her to her original position. Her flush darkening to a more red hue. If she had any doubts about what state of mind he was in, this act made it clear. He had let his frustrations go, or at least, was not letting them overwhelm what he felt for her.

The song ended, and so did their dance. As she had requested, he gave her one, and one it seemed to remain? Blair said nothing as she did not want to insist he stay. Even if he still cared, it did not mean he did not require time to himself. Alas, it seemed that, he had no intention of truly leaving, at least not just yet. A gentle hold on her hand lead her to a quieter location, a place where the air was different, where they could be more alone.

Blair was unsure what Hades intentions were, but they were none her heart fluttered, a vulnerable blush radiating on her face, a sight he was sure to take in, it was rare after all, at least for now. "You are so beautiful. So important. So wonderful. I wish you would let me show you truly just how special you are. But until then~ I will give you all that I can.”

His sweet words, equally as rare, melted one of the last walls she had left standing, but at the same time, his words left her “confused”. Was he not aware that he already did as he claimed he wished? Yes, she knew what he truly meant by those words, and eventually it was bound to occur, but he still managed to prove what she meant to him without it.

”You…” She started slow, her face looking up at his, her eyes getting lost in his field of gold. Some legends do say gods bleed gold. ”I do know.” Blair changed her wording, decided to approach it differently than her original plan. ”I may not show that I do, but I do truly see how special I am to you. I do know what you mean. However, I think the smaller things speak louder. You treat me in a way you treat no one else. That is something I only will ever receive from you, no one else.” The was no need for the rabbit faunus to be more blunt, he was sure to get what she meant. She knew what he was like not long after their meeting, a fact to accepted. It was merely harder when things got personal between them, but past actions were in the past, and they could still be reserved for her alone. But the knowledge that there was something, even if small and perhaps meaningless to some, that he had never shared before except with her, was enough.

Blair took a moment, her eyes closing, breaking their connection. Slowly she took a hand from her chest, a hand he had placed their during his “confession”. Her body moved around him, walking close to a pole that was nearby their area, light shining on her as if to focus the importance of her words, something she did not intend. Delicate fingers brushed against the surfaced of the pole until stopping. Back still turned to Hades she spoke up again. ”You once asked me… challenged me… when I would finally let myself be vulnerable… when I would finally stop giving up…” Her head lowered towards the ground in thought allowing her long blonde hair to falling over her shoulders. Her voice was considerably soft, a fleeting gentleness lingering with every word. ”I scare myself. I never realized how unsure I ever was until I left my ‘home’. Until I followed you that first night. I was a fool in thinking I was strong back then. I was not close to it. It was just easy to believe I was because I never had to choose anything. Not really. Every choice was made for me. What I would be. What I would do. Who I should like…. The first thing I ever chose was not going to Beacon, but even as I think on that, it may have just been me giving up as well. Giving up on the chance to do something normal for once. For that may have been the perfect way to truly get away… but no… I had to wait for you to show up that fateful night..” As she ended that phrase she turned slowly, her head raising gently as her gaze met his, a soft genuine smile on her face, as her twinkled from a couple drops forming in her eyes, drops that would not fall, she was merely allowing herself to be more emotional, more vulnerable than normal. This is what she gave him. ”I have had those words of yours haunting me for some time and…” How would she say this? Say the next thing she wanted, the words he was so dying to hear. ”I… will follow your lead.” This was Blair’s way of confessing, of saying she would be vulnerable for him. The dance before had show it, and this, this was just a different way for him to lead. ”I believe… it will be easier for me.” This did not mean she would not have a will of her own, but more so, she would give in to him and allow him to guide her through the aspects of life she was secretly terrified of.

  • What was his true intentions? Just to care for her. Just to love her. To make her understand that it was okay to be vulnerable. To make her understand that even if she makes him angry he wasn't going to react in a violent manner. That he would do nothing to harm her. Quite the turn around from their introduction where he seemed more than intent to do psychological and physical harm. Still, maybe it was because Blair gave him something that he was missing but what. It wasn't one of the two thrills. Maybe it was a 3 rd one? One that more extremely potent than the others. More reward for less actual work? A kiss more rewarding than trying to beat up some smugglers that didn't pay off the boss? Hades couldn't exactly say. His sister Ruka did mention something along the lines of the this feeling but she had two husbands so Hades kind of blew off her words as unconventional.

It seemed Blair was struggling to speak under the charm of his golden eyes. Amazingly, his semblance was more vision than manipulation. Now would that had been a power? He was skilled in persuasion but this wasn't it. This was Blair's own choice. Her own will. His persuasion didn't work on her which meant he had to work harder. But was the reward greater for this extra work? To a lazy person would think no, but for Blair it was.

When the words finally came, Hades didn't know what to say. He was trapped and it could be seen in his golden eyes how much her words meant to him. However, he was trying not to be emotional and just play it cool. Now who was the one not trying to be vulnerable. Hades was focused on showing and displaying he didn't even realize what Blair was referring to until now. Playing in his head different moments, it was true. She was treated differently than how he treated others. In fact, to her it was almost like he was a whole new person. Action wise. Make no mistake, he was still a NARCISTIC god. The leader and figure head of Hadesexuality. That was never going to change!

The feeling of warmth would leave from his chest. In a slight daze he would watched as they separated. What was she planning? One could assume what it was, but that would be un-Blair-like and highly unnecessary as well. He didn't have to wait long. Her intentions were revealed and it made him wonder just how much she been thinking about it all. It was clear a lot. It was apparent that she was listening even if at times seem like she wasn't. She was going to follow his lead? Did did not mean be a follower like some kind of servant. She was basically saying that she was going to let him lead this dance. A metaphorical dance which symbolized their relationship.

Slowly heading towards Blair, he would come up to her and place a gently kiss onto her lips. It was him saying he understood without having to say a word. The night could have been ruined but maybe..maybe the mistakes were needed for everything to finally sync into place. Their song went through a lot of distortion but the harmony was finally orchestrated perfectly and the melody was starting to become more clear. Taking her words in stride, he would take the lead and lift her. The size difference making this one of the more familiar actions he has done. Intoxicated or not, he was able to lift her with ease and securely. Walking past the crowd, the Uchiha was taking the goddess home. She was not for these people because she had finally ascended. Following Hades lead, she had ascended to the status of a goddess both physically and mentally.

This silence from him was far from a bad sign. Often times it tended to be, but not this case. She could see he himself was trying not to allow himself to be vulnerable. Did she find it hypocritical? No. She merely found it a bit amusing. They didn't have to be vulnerable in such ways every moment with one another. They were still Hades and Blair... two stubborn and considerably prideful individuals. He was a god after all. He had to keep his imagine. It was enough for her to know that behind it all, he was vulnerable, the same way she was sure that he would know that despite words or her actions, she would always be vulnerable for him. They knew each other. They could see under each others mask.

A gentle kiss met her lips, a pure moment coming over her as it lasted. Only with him did she ever feel such peace, a sense of belonging. Their lips broke about and that sensation was left with a longing, a yearning for more. More time with him. More affection from him. A desire for continuous demonstrations of her value to him, regardless of how simple they could be. This was not a feeling she believed would ever go away, no more how intimate they could and would someday become. Picked up with ease she was carried away.

The night may not have gone as she had hoped, and it may have been ruined in some ways... but.... it had ended on a note they had been trying to get to for some time. In away, the night wasn't ruined. Merely took a few unexpected turns.

The exchange of contacts had been a pleasant game; if she noticed he was off-guard, she did not show it externally. Internally, she was delighted. Then her attention was drawn to the cards before her. Once the card was drawn, her fingertips upon it, all he had to do was take it. It would be a lie to say that he had not caught her by pleasant surprise; the feeling a caress from his middle and index fingers made a light shiver run up her spine, her small, curious smile never wavered though as he easily took the card and she withdrawing her fingers.

"He truly is playful. But, how long will that last," Tyche wondered to herself while he looked to the card. As he passed her the card faced down, she tilted her head ever so slightly to the right. Careful in reaching out this time, she would be careful to avoid touch as she drew Fate's answer via middle and left ring finger. Upon flipping it over to see, her smile grew slightly. "Seven of Diamonds," She sighed and looked to the crowd on the dance floor before looking to the vampire before her. "Female seven o'clock, human that is dressed as a fairy," She described a tall brunette that was on the sidelines of the dance floor, she seemed to be talking to another female dressed as a witch. As he spotted the target, she would gracefully gather and shuffle her cards once more. "Now the target has been spotted, well...that shall be later," She pondered before speaking.

Something seemed to distract her though as the acolyte of Fate had seen the fairy move. Sighing lightly, she would carefully gather the cards once more. It seemed Lady fate wished her to go now.
"That it does...sadly, it seems this is where we part," She stated calmly as she would stand casually, cornucopia around her shoulders like a quiver after she placed her cards inside. She would take her cane and bow her head slightly. "Until next time," She told him, more like a promise than a farewell before walking away without a sound as she walked. whether from the volume of the room or otherwise, unclear before seeming to blend in with the crowd.

As Black cat would look to the card, having been careful to not leave herself open to touch, Ghost would note her smile grow ever so slightly before she would look to the crowd and describe who the card had chosen. Looking himself, Ghost would see a tall brunette in a fairy outfit who was conversing with a "witch" to the side of the dance floor. He was curious what fortune would befall for the girl; good or ill, it may be telling of his current company. And information was a valuable commodity in his line of work, as well as just survival. He would hear her gather the cards and begin to shuffle them, their unique sound being recognizable to him at this point as his gaze would shift back to her. Curious as to what may come next. He was disappointed as something seemed to bring their meeting to an end, and following her gaze, he would see the fairy moving away. Almost out of sight, but soon to be. He smiled internally as thoughts raced his mind, but turned his attention back to his departing company. "Sadly, though timely as I am leaving myself as well. Until next time." He would rise and respond to her in kind, giving a formal bow to her and letting her depart into the crowd first. Keeping an eye not on her, but the fairy girl further ahead. 'And now to see what fate has in store for her.' He thought to himself with an open smile, as he too ventured into the crowd in the direction of the exit...quickly vanishing from sight.

Netami walked with her eyes on her scroll and her head in the clouds, two companions floating around her. She was quickly scanning through pictures she had taken of the precious schematics she had to leave in her dorm at Beacon, and she was contemplating a new way to improve cybernetic implants. It was mostly to try to improve her Grain, but also to finish what she had started. Netami detested leaving something unfinished, and more so when she was called to do business. She had been in contact with a mysterious man, that still refused to give his name, and was told to come to the Outskirts to finally meet. Was this rather dull of her to come to a rather unprotected area to see a man about some tech? Possibly. Probably. Netami's mouth practically watered with the thought of something new to get her hands on, however, and so the student went in search. Her location was a club called the Tin Rabbit Parlor, and from the silent pulsing at the far right of her scroll, Netami was getting closer.

Upon arrival, Netami entered without a word and found a booth by the wall. Her companions shuffled in on either side of her, their strange bodies lighting under the blacklight of the club. They looked around, almost mechanically, while Netami worked, unrealizing or uncaring of how espionage truly worked. There were many people crowding the center of the club, playing games and receiving bubbling drinks. Netami simply worked and waited for her contact to arrive.

It wasn’t the first time Grimsly was at the outskirts of Vale, it was mostly for training but this time it was for one specific reason which was meeting some shady person, he knew it may be a poor choice to just follow some stranger especially after he got kidnapped all those years ago but… something about him made him feel like this will only help his final goal, he wanted to meet Grimsly at some bar named “The Tin Rabbit Parlor” which was quite a relief as it’s not going to be only the two of them ’ so this is the place huh? this will definitely be an interesting day today’ he thought as he slowly walked in and with every other step he took there could be heard a cane hitting the ground as well as a footstep.
Once he got inside he felt lost, where was he supposed to sit to meet him? How did he even look like? Is he even here already? He kept questioning himself before simply shrugging it off ’he knows how I look, he will probably come up to me once he sees me and with that he simply looked for a place to sit, but then he noticed a young girl around his age with two robots floating around her, this defiantly caught his attention and made him very curious as he walked up to the girl “those robots… did you build them yourself? They seem similar to the Atlasian drones yet a lot better” he said with a smile “may I sit here with you? I am currently waiting for someone and I don’t know anyone here, and I’m pretty sure I saw you at least once around Beacon am I currect?”

❝Never Trust a Nation to Care about You❞

The Tin Rabbit Parlor was an okay place. For what it was, there hardly harm that came to individuals that weren't of a certain type of crowd. Security wouldn't allow for it. For this time of day, the owner was still looking for security for the joint. His last set of hands died during the wall attack at the water festival. It was their fault though. He told them don't fight on empty stomachs. They ran out of energy. Bam, they die. Of course, there had to be more to it than that. It wasn't important for him though. Washing up glasses, the owner would see many individuals come and go. The appealing ones were a man that looked like a grim. It scared him how charcoal that boy was. And a woman who had robots. You didn't see it every day and he just sat back and watched how this was going to go down. He was sure. There was a man already there that was causing issues. It wasn't the man that had called for Grimly and Neta. It was someone else. Someone who Grimly knew personally but the man did not remember. Walking, he would take a sip from his glass. A rose nestling in it as if the alcohol was actually given the flower nutrients. Looking at Grimly, he would ignore grimly and be ignorant of him. He instead turned to Neta. “Those some nice ears you have” he commented making sure to take in every detail he could of her frame. “Come here often?” he asked. Was he checking her out? Yes. He wasn't in a perverted way but in one of intrigue. A Faunus like her didn't come around often and would make a good addition to the bandits. Especially if she may not be seen as a rare faunus to her boss but her intellect seems out of this world thanks to her bots. Also meant she had resources. Who or what? The brightly colored man did not know. Why was Xylvester there anyhow? It was only place he could be free. He was shitted on by Bashmu and made a fool. The elder's trust faded in him fast. He botched on the Pyrve girl. He botched on any relevant information at the water festival. He needed to drink his sorrows away and get a win! And maybe a win was in the works. The table next to the booth that Netami and her bots were sitting at was reserved for EOC. One of the seats reserved for Blair and the other for Hades that was on the other side. Taking out one of the chairs and straddling it, his intrigue was known. Maybe that's why he was a failure. His skills at being inconspicuous sucked!. Now parked at the side of the booth. How would they answer the danger that was in front of them. Maybe they would think he is the contact.

The silent whirr of her robots drowned out much of the ridiculous music and talkative people that washed about. Netami hated places like this. They stank and it was always sticky with alcoholic spilled drinks. Adults were sure happy, that was neither here nor there, but at the very least they could hold themselves to a standard. Despite her obvious placement away from anyone's gaze, and the deadened look her robots' gave, Netami's ear turned up as someone approached her. She thought it might have been her contact, and so she actually looked up from what she was doing, before her eyes bore emotionlessly into a child. He looked her age, and his sudden acknowledgment of seeing her at Beacon gave him away. Was he a spy, or did he think joining a mercenary gang was something regular students did? Netami looked him up and down, noticing a cane, with the same emotionless expression. No, she decided, he was not the contact.

Her voice was as undramatic as her appearance, "I built them, yes." She looked back to her scroll, tapping a few buttons before looking back up, surprised almost as if she had forgotten. "Oh, yes, you can sit." Both robots on either side stared at the newcomer, and without breaking eye contact slid closer to Netami's side to make room in the booth. Their metallic hands were on the table, and their piercing yellow eyes scanned the room. "You go to Beacon?" Great, now she had to continue in pointless conversation.

Thankfully, a man thought he could interrupt them. He looked rather... pink, and appeared like he owned the place. He practically beelined to their table, proving that he either knew them or was trying to hit a mark, and Netami's ear twitched when he began talking. Even under her cap, her ears were very obvious to all, and the annoyance of him bringing them up didn't escape her. The Herja twins curled their knuckles on the table, their bodies braced, and they locked onto the newcomer. "Don't see Faunus often," she retorted. Her eyes continued on the screen, only looking slightly to the boy sitting next to her. He didn't look like someone who could fight, and she calculated if she would need to protect him if things went downhill. She hoped this wasn't her contact, she would have to deny any involvement with a person so... annoying. Her interest was peaked with a flower in what Netami could easily smell as alcohol, but it looked rather lively. "You have a flower semblance?" Bold question, probing for information in her own way. Would the man answer, or would he side step? Would the boy sitting next to her offer such possible bombardment, or would he just sit and stare? Things were moving faster than expected, but a welcome change from the monotony of Beacon.

Grimsly was glad she let him sit in the same booth, he much rather stay close to someone he at the very least saw one day instead of any of the other people around. He crouched down and sat with his cane on his lap as The twin robots stared at him for while they moved away to make him some room, he simply stared back at one of them with a natural expression though if he didn’t wear his eyepatch he may have seemed threatening “I do go to Beacon, my name is Grimsly Hanje and it’s a pleasure to meet you” he said calmly as he pulled out a small towel and started cleaning his cane, he wanted the cane to always stay in top shape no matter the weather or condition, it always has to be perfectly clean and ready for anything. But then after a few moments of sitting together with the girl and her robots a familiar figure came closer, one Grimsly could never forget, his hands gripped his cane as hard as he could without damaging the cane which was still a lot of preasure ’ what is HE doing here?! there is no way this is the one who called me to this bar! ’ he was furious even though from the outside he seemed perfectly calm, but seeing the way he talked to the girl that is currently with him gave away exactly what he planned on doing. Grimsly would get up and move his cane forward, blocking the path of Xylvester towards the girl if he planned on getting closer “I’m sorry but we are not here for you, your presence is not welcomed here” he glared down at Xylvester, if Xylvester would try to attack Grimsly he would notice that Grimsly’s covered eye started to smoke right before the attack hits and the real Grimsly would duck down and move behind him. If he did not than Grimsly would simply glare down at him, trying to show that he is not wanted.

❝Never Trust a Nation to Care about You❞

There seemed to be some hostility in the room. Why were people not as sociable anymore? Always so serious. A smile crept on his face when she asked about him seeing faunus often. If only she knew. Oh he saw faunus a lot. ¨On contrary, I know a lot about faunus. It just dumb struck me seeing an Artic Fox in the flesh¨ he started. How did he know that? He was a bandit that stole faunus. He knew enough about them be able to figure out most tribes and such just by a glance. ¨My flower is my semblance. You are correct. Aren´t flowers beautiful? They make a battlefield so amazing¨ Xylvester would respond. Of course, this was a lie. He was not going to give away his abilities so easily to strangers. Especially one he wanted to kidnap. Looking at Neta, he would try come closer but was stopped by the second person that was there. A can blocking him from joining. Seeing smoke coming from his eyes, he wondered what was this about. Was this a lover? A friend? Looking at Grimly, he smirked before looking at the table. ¨YET, you come here see a fool that can´t even get a simple dog walking mission?¨ Xylvester asked with a scoff before leaving. He will be back. He made sure to take note of E.O.C. before he left.

With Xylvester gone, the wait would continue. Traffic was getting heavier in the club and it seemed to be weird. It was not peak hours yet. This was usually the slow time. So why more people were piling in? They all seemed to know each other. Some even had a rose flower attached to their clothing. Something was going to break down soon. Hades was running late. How would the students fair being in a situation. They would be able to feel something bad was about to go down soon.

The passing of names. Netami understood from certain angles a name was precious, and people felt compelled to tell them. They were like trading cards in a game, she equated, you had different ones from your opponent and they had different abilities, but you'd never beat them if you forgot their name all the time. This card's name was Grimsly Hanje, he walked with a cane at a young age, wore an eyepatch, and he went to Beacon. More information was needed, especially what his semblance and fight styles were, but that could fall to another time. He already showed he was not afraid, but impressed, with the Herja twins, and that was always a step in the right direction. It meant he was not a technological brute, immediately solidifying him as an ally. Her name, however, was never said as the pink-haired man interrupted them. He took her question with stride, a smile appearing on his face as he looked her over, pegging her species perfectly. Had he been watching them enter the building as well, or could he see her small tail laying idly on the cushion? White hair would not have sequestered her to the artic foxes, though her pupil color might have. Netami had not told her contact what she was either. This, she decided, was a threat.

The Threat was too easily giving his semblance away, Netami decided as she looked to Grimsly. Either it was real or it was some form of subterfuge, she guessed, smelling the rank alcohol and the vibrancy of the flower. The intruder tried to move closer, but Grimsly finally acted, securing Netami's guess about the pink-haired man. He was indeed not their contact, and it was fortuitous Grimsly had been there, or it might have turned ugly. Netami was perfectly capable of protecting herself, well with her inventions anyways, but it helped having another free-thinker as well. Grimsly back was to her, so she did not see his eye begin to smolder, but her attention was grabbed by the Threat chastised their true contact before he scoffed and left the building without a further fight.

Netami's expression and body language never changed, but she did let out a small breath as the Threat moved out the door. She turned to Grimsly, solidifying his role to her in her mind, and said, "Netami." Would he know it was given as her name? It was the least she could do, or was it the most she could do, as he had traded his own name. Though he looked frail, Grimsly seemed like someone who could handle themselves, striking at any given moment. It was fortuitous they met, she concluded, looking down at her scroll. Her ears twitched from below her cap after a moment, her nose scrunching at the musk of humanity that was filling the club. A bold red flower marked some of the patrons, a similar affair to the Threat from earlier. Netami shuddered in her seat as more humans came piling through the door, her irritation mounting. She looked to Grimsly and almost spat, "Do you know our contact's name?" Her mind was trying to stay off the crowd, but there was simply no way to do so. The robots beside her sat staring, their bodies as still as the grave, seemingly uncaring of their master's irritations. "Who was the Threat? The man," she clarified, realizing Grimsly would not know what category she had put the pink-haired man in. "The flower, does it leech life?" The question was more to herself than to Grimsly, trying to calculate their best odds with so many people.

As if commanded by an unknown force, the robot to Netami's left suddenly shimmied out of the booth and stood. It moved towards the back of the building, away from prying eyes, before it crawled up the wall like a spider. Unlike the common arthropods, the robot had to actually find holds like any normal humanoid. It then began to move to a chandelier-looking ornament in the center of the building, that that shone brightly, hopefully covering its staring gaze. At a command, Netami would activate its combat protocol, making damn sure it took out as many people it could before they reached its master. The other robot stayed within the booth, but moved to fill the space the previous had. It made it so that Netami was in the middle, Herja was on her left, and Grimsly was on her right. She stared out into the uncomfortable filling room and breathed, "Trouble."
