Micillia's Partying Nightmares Frit holds points: 20 Don't be afraid to RP with them!
Main Characters Frit (15) Frit had her focus completly on the new unknown animal, forgetting Stachys completly. She looked at getting another, more test subjects the better the results of any experiment. Finally, she remembered her friend. Maybe he could take care of the creatures while she focused on the science aspect. "What do you think of this one?" Stachys (1) Here with Frit Stachys looked at the creature nervously. "Uh, its... fine." He didnt know what to think, really. The creature was bigger than the ones he usually saw, it had teeth, and it only looked a little friendly... He hoped Frit dident have any plans to do with the creature, he would prefer the thing stay far away from him.

Muridae (18 ) Muridae was busy staring into her new animal friend's eyes when someone called her name. She let out a loud "EEP!" as she turned around, looking for whoever had called her name. Then she saw him. Jet. Her heart seemed to stop in her throat at the sight of him. "J-jet! I-its so-i mean- hi." She stuttered, finally deciding on a simple "hi" as greeting. "I didnt expect you to be here!" She lied, "Its nice to see you again." She looked down at the creature she had been bonding with and rang her hands. "Ah, i dont think its a stray... I think there is some sort of adoption event...?" She sure hoped so, and she hoped there were vespercats around, her favorite pet. "Are you here to adopt?"
When cooler weather came Kaden typically stayed curled up at home with his secret collection of fluffy blankets and adorable plushies..however there was something to be said for the festive feeling hanging in the air. Wrapped in a two sizes too big scarf that draped and nearly dragged the ground the male eagerly slipped forward through the huge throngs of people. Eyes taking it all in his gloved hands started to itch..to itch for something so adorable he nearly fell right into a group of freshlings. There in a booth sat the biggest most glorious display of plush animals; the thing he ashamedly collected. Even the toughest of folks had a ‘weakness’ right? Glancing around the naga oh so casually scooped up the first plushie that caught his eye..a barely visible smile brightening his usually grouchy /cold features. With the soft squishy plush held close he hurried away..only to have a book uncerimoniously shoved at him. What? With a new scowl in place Kaden slipped the book next to his new fluffy friend; not even bothering to read the books title. ”Maybe I’ll meet some other nagas today..” Words quiet his tail gave a few small flicks of warning, a light rattling sending some over curious youngsters fleeing back to their guardians or friends. Hmph. Maybe he should have stayed home under his heat lamp..but, what if someone else had even nicer plushies at their booth? So maybe he would stay; just for a little bit longer.
Lunette smiled brightly at Khensu and then said "It's alright do you want to go play some games or look at the shops?" She didn't mind that he was late he was here and with bells on no less so that made her very happy. She was excited to get to spend the holiday season with him and play some games and look around.
Enju was wandering around no real direction in mind. He noticed a Baphomet with a skyfish that was red and he turned smiling shyly at the familiar and glancing at the bapho.

Coco went to look at the candies and saw a neko getting some candy there as well. She smiled and said softly "Hi." Then she turned back to the cadies looking to see if there was something she wanted for a treat.
Aisling felt her cheeks warm and her wings fluttered with the thrill of someone cheering for her. She hugged the Vespercat plushie to her chest with a smile.
"One day, I'm gonna have a real Vespercat." She confided in Bridget. "And a Spectrefox and a Fennekit and... Well all of them!" She bounced on her heels a little. "But right now I have Pooka. He's not very soft, but he's nice and I love him a lot." Remembering the question that had been asked of her, she added. "Oh, I'm in the Eldritch house. What about you?" Her attention then turned from talking about her familiar and school life to her friend who tried at the rings. She didn't win a plushie from the game like Aisling had, but an adult seemed to come over with a different tray.
Her head wings fluttering in her anticipation, she waited to see what her friend had chose, when she saw that it was a glowing bulb necklace, similar to her own, but lighting up in orange. With a squeal of delight, Aisling deposited her plushie into her stocking and held up her own necklace against the light of Bridget's. "Yeah, we really do!" She said, quieting down for a moment just to watch the light glow and swirl around in the bulb. It was so pretty...
The words of an adult nearby her spooked her out of her stupor and she looked up to see the familiar face of a librarian holding out a book to her. She took it and stared at the cover. "Malice in Wonderland..." She read aloud and then looked back to the librarian with a polite smile. "Thank you!" She told the adult and looked over to Bridget. "Do you want a book?" She asked the other girl.
After what had happened at the previous festival the frshling had been very hesitant to attend another but, they were super curious about what kinds of goodies would be available. Bundled up in rather jolly attire Oakley let their tail Maple lead the charge through the crowds. The youngster almost missed the soft bright stockings but, they managed to snag one. “Maple please calm down! We’ll find a yummy snack donMt you worry!” Whining at the reprimand Maple got back to what he did best..drooling incessantly..whilst dear Oakley sniffed the air in search of treats. Sure enough their nose soon led them to a booth handing out piping hot mugs of all manner of drinks. Taking a moment the duo soon walked off with a steaming mug of spiced apple cider. “Mmm! It reminds me of when we tried to make apple pie remember?” Beaming Oakley continued on through the crowd giddily; at least this time the young one had been smart enough to come alone. No one could leave you behind if you walked through the fesitval alone! Determined to have a good time their attention shifted to something surprsingly not food related..the many big & small plushes drawing Oakly closer. Maple seemed uninterested and grumbled..a few drips of saliva falling from the gluttonous shade tail. “Look! Doesn’t this plush look like you Maple?”

If Latros realized they were being pick-pocketed, they made no indication of it. Instead they kept going in their slow gait, ears twitching every so often and eyes darting about as they took in the sights and sounds and thought about what to do next.
Their wallet was indeed stolen, but luckily it only had their monthly bus pass, a few copper stars, and a number of tiny spiders that crawled around the surface of the cheap, well-worn leather. The small arachnids seemed very agitated about being disturbed, however.
Green Minuet
Eloise did her best not to jump in surprise at the sudden comment, and managed to get away with a very light squeak! She was about to stammer out some sort of excuse when the naiad simply picked up another book and walked to a nearby booth. Well, she was mostly certain they were part naiad, by the tail at least. Could be anything under that bundle of warm clothing.
She watched them pick up an aetherjelly plush, perhaps admiring it. Adjusting the hand-woven earmuffs over her gills, she followed him, a mixture of confused and embarrassed. "Excuse me, were you...talking to me?"
Kaefaux
Saira looked up at the blur of color next to her, spotting a fetching calico, though their ears were...wait, they were a demon? She did a bit of a double-take, surprised to see a pattern that would be right at home in Auster on a race other than her own.
"Hey! Are you here for the peppermint bark as well?"
She motioned lightly with her spoils, smiling a bit, while trying not to hover.
“well I think I got my exercise for a little while so maybe start with looking at shops.however I definitely want to eventually try out the games” he answered after catching his breath finally.
Considering he had skipped eating in favor of getting here as soon as he could, khensu was feeling a little hungry so he grabbed a cookie from a nearby waiter who was handing them out. However when he raised the cookie it was a bit heavier than normal. Looking over his eye met tiny little beady ones as a nezubat was somehow clutching on to the cookie. It suddenly crumbled and with his free hand he quickly caught the surprised bat. ——- Alto admittedly had spotted the hybrid briefly but he always had a fondness for sky fish and his attention had been on his new friend. However new friend seemed to have other ideas and briefly swam over to where the hybrid was circling around them a couple times before returning to alto causing the baphomet to shift his attention. Hmm they actually looked a bit familiar, dancing came to mind so maybe from that haunted hallows a year or two back. “Seems my new friend likes you” he spoke up with a friendly tone.
When Aisling described the various familiar she wanted to own one day, Bridget couldn't help but bounce a bit on her paws. "I've got some familiars back in my room! I could show you another time if you want? They're flutterrats, but they've all got fluffy tails like me!" She rather adored her little collection of squirrelly flutterrats, and felt sure that if anyone else would appreciate them, it'd be Aisling.
She paused though and cocked her head. "Who's Pooka? Oh and I'm in Arkham but we can still hang out and stuff between or after classes!"
After the not so great results of the game, she was at least excited that she was able to get a bulb necklace like Aisling's. They were really cute, the necklaces. And it was just... fun to have something to match a friend. It was possible to call her that, right? It wasn't too soon, right?
She shelved the thoughts as they went to another booth, this time hosted by the librarian. She gave a chipper hello to the familiar adult and peered at the books on display, humming in thought. One caught her attention, and well. She couldn't help it. Bridget all but dove for the book, holding it close to her chest as she grinned at Aisling. Young Nightmare's Guide to Dark Alchemy was visible on the spine. "Found one~!" As she stood there though, she noticed the booth beside the librarian's had a collection of plushies. Hesitating slightly, she reached over and grabbed one, a brown fox plush that was rather soft. She held it with glee towards Aisling. "Hehe! Isn't it cute? I think it's a Spectorfox?"

Rhin gave a soft hum of question as a small voice peeked out from the festivities around them. He'd definitely heard that squeak before, and though he'd been unable to keep from grinning, he was being nice--mostly--and keeping himself from commentating on it. But the fact the apparently soft-spoken naiad chose to continue the conversation, of sorts, had him perking up.
"Ah, yes," he grinned, nodding back towards the table of books. "I've read a lot of that author's books. Choppy at first, but I hope you keep with the series despite that. The writing improves immensely over time."
The vendor giving away the plushies also had a tray of cookies and Rhin plucked one up -- a scepter, he realized. About the same time a purple muzzle came down on the other end of the cookie. "Hey!" He stared as the Specterfox held the cookie between its teeth, one sporting a nice looking minicape. The creature stared back up at him in silence before seeming to come to some sort of decision, as it moved over next to him just close enough to deposit the cookie into his stocking. And then. Sat down beside him. He stared down at the fox before looking back to the young woman, baffled. "Is this... normal around here?"

"Flutterbats? With poofy tails! That sounds sooo cute!" Aisling exclaimed when Bridget revealed to her about her own familiars. She leaned forward eagerly, sliding her book into her stocking. "Pretty please show me? That would be so cool! Do they like snacks? I could bring snacks!" Her eyes were bright with excitement and she gave a merry giggle when Bridget inquired as to who Pooka was.
"Pooka is my Pumpka familiar! He's bright green and his fire is green too. He's really smiley and he keeps me company when I'm studying. He doesn't eat, but he'll occasionally hide my pencils or books when I'm not home for a while. He's asleep right now, though, so he won't mess anything up in my dorm or anything." Aisling explained, clearly sugarplum pleased to be talking about her familiar. "Besides, I intend to be out here for a while yet!" She followed Bridget over when she went over to another booth with a librarian behind it and watched as she picked up a book. Reading the title on the spine, she asked. "Are you interested in alchemy? Cool!" She patted the outline of her book, which bulged from her stocking. "I like adventure stories." She said. "With cool main characters."
"Oooh!" Aisling's eyes were round with interest when Bridget nabbed a plushie of her own. "I think it's some kind of fox for sure." She confirmed with a nod.
A slight breeze in the air made her shiver and she buried her face into the dark sweater she wore. Turning, she looked to see if any of the vendors or adults nearby were serving... There!
"Hot chocolate!" She said, pointing with the hand unoccupied by the stocking. "C'mon, Bridget, let's go get some!" She said and hurried forward, checking back frequently to see that her friend was following along. When she finally got there, she reached up for a cup and one was placed in her hands. She let out a soft squeal of delight and turned to Bridget. "You're getting one too, right?" She took a sip and gave a happy sigh. "It's sooo warm."
Victoria was giggle because her new friend Mint was ticking her when he crawled on her shoulder. She looked around and seen a elderly woman sitting down and reading a book. She walked over to her and said hello with a great big smile.
Bridget nodded fiercly, unaware she'd misnamed the Flitterrats. But hardly any reason to think of such a thing now. Flutterrats certainly seemed fitting to her, with their wings and all. "Um! They like cheese and stuff, oh and nuts and crunchy veggies!" Among lots of other things, but she knew the lunchroom had those easily enough to grab.
As Aisling began to speak about Pooka, Bridget's ears were perked forward and eyes wide with fascination. Considering how much Aisling clearly enjoyed fluffy stuff, having a Pumpka familiar seemed odd to the girl but she kept her mouth shut on that. Instead, she laughed and gleed, picturing the different shenanigans. "He sounds fun! I'd love to meet him if I can." That'd be cute, different familiar meeting times? Aw!
She nodded on the topic of the books. "Well! Kinda. I like magic and adventures. Legends and stuff! Just wanna see what this book says about alchemy. I mean, it's free. So why not?"
When Aisling lead them to another booth with hot cocoa, Bridget was going to grab one. But she reached for a sweet first--a cookie--shaped like the Mirror constellation. Her constellation, she knew that much, though not much about the Nine or the one behind it. "Aw this is cute-- oh! Hey!" She yelped as a pale streak zipped across her vision, snatching the cookie from her hand!
"That's mine!" Her shout apparently fell on deaf ears as the Vespercat held it in its mouth a few paces away. Its tail flicked lazily back and forth, eyeing the Hallow children over the stollen cookie. Bridget made clicking and kissing sounds, rubbing her fingers together as she crouched down. "C'mon. Give it back. Please? Pretty kitty? Please?" Apparently after a while of this, the Vespercat was convinced. Or at least annoyed enough to relent. It slunk back over to were Bridget crouched, rubbing up against her legs and even dropping the cookie into the girl's stocking. Instead of running off though, the Vespercat remained with the two girls, mewing at them and rubbing against them as it wound around them both. "Oh... um. I guess it wants to hang out with us..?"

He'd wanted to see what the festivals here were like. His classmates kept talking about it, kept saying how awesome they were. So he came out there to see for himself. There'd been some warnings about how cold it got out there on the fairgrounds. Some Xihuitl was bundled up, a sweater pulled over his hooded sweatshirt, gloves... though his tail was not properly clothed, much to his dismay. His wings ruffled and when he was given the stocking by the nice volunteers, he eyed it, debating if he could shove his tail into it for protection from the bite of winter.
He managed to grab a warm cup of hot cocoa though, just in time to see... oh! Another Naga! His wings fluttered a bit as he moved over towards the other, peering up at the older guy. "I... didn't really think I'd see another Naga here," he said slowly, eyeing the other curiously. How did he deal with this cold?
With her sort-of-dad and kinda-sister occupied with Orion's new familiar, Reina couldn't help but take the chance to move away herself to find more games to play. Games that she figured she'd then run back to drag the other to.
And she almost found just that, with various booths set about with games to play, but was distracted by the sight of another kid. Or rather, his tail. A Shade! She knew about those from school, and well, some of her classmates! But well.... their tails were super cool! Was it rude if she asked if she could feed it?
By chance, she picked up a little cookie--aw, a crown! Like her Zodiac!--and she began to walk towards the kid. "Hiya, um... I hope it's not rude, but your tail is, really, really-- hey! That's not yours!" Her sheepish words were disrupted by another mouth coming up to take a bite out of her cookie. She stared down at the Kidden munching away as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Slowly, looked back towards the other youngster with a bit of dismay. "Is... that yours?"

Turning to look at the bookshelf again, partially to hide a light blush of embarrassment, she started to reply softly. "Oh, I've heard ah...good things about the series before, just never..." Until she was interrupted by the specterfox grabbing the cookie, and then deciding that they owned the naiad.
"That...I've never seen before, though I've heard it happens at these festivals? Something about the residual magic of so many people gathered together..." She went to grab a cookie for herself to see if the same thing happened, but the vendor had moved off, already lost among the crowd.
Turning back to the naiad, she smiled timidly at him before motioning to his new friend. "Are you going to keep them? Seems to have claimed you already..."
Aisling took note of what sort of snacks Bridget's familiar would like for her to bring over. Oh, she so wanted to meet these flitter-squirrels and befriend them! When Bridget spoke about wanting to meet Pooka, Aisling clapped her hands together.
"That'll be easy enough to arrange, I'm sure!" She announced. "I suspect you'll like him. He's pretty fun!" She nodded again when Bridget went on to talk about her favorite books. "Makes sense." She sipped at her hot cocoa, thinking about what she might like to study. Familiars were obviously high on that list. She was just looking into her stocking to pull out the stuffed Vespercat out when she heard Bridget exclaim loudly. Looking up, she saw a real Vespercat running off with a cookie.
"W-Woah!" She managed, while Bridget started cooing at it. Eventually it came back with the cookie and began to rub against their legs. "Aw, I think it likes us!" She exclaimed and bent over to stroke it. Her peppermint sticks tumbled out of her bag, but she was so focused on the winged feline in front of her, that she didn't notice until she felt something large bumping up against her leg. Startled, she dropped her cocoa and quickly turned to see that a Spectrefox was eating the peppermint sticks that had fallen into the snow from her stocking.
"I... uh..." It was large and regal in appearance, with the majority of its coat being as white as her own hair, but the accents in its wisps of a tail and mane were green and red. "H-Hi there..." She reached out into her stocking, grappling around for another peppermint stick only to find one left inside. Holding it out to the Spectrefox, her three eyes round, she waited as it sniffed the offered sweet and then daintily took it from her hand. Picking up her spilled drink, she pocketed the empty up into her stocking, but her eyes were fixed on the noble beast in front of her.
Finally, it raised its head and let out an eerie chirp-yip of a sound. It almost sounded like a gleeful laugh... almost. It came forward to stand next to her and leaned on her. It almost knocked her over.
"H-Hey, Bridget? I think we've gained two new friends." She told her friend, craning her neck to look at Bridget. "Maybe... If they both like sweet treats, we could find something for them by one of the other vendors?" She suggested.
Coco looked shyly at the neko and then said "Umm well I'm not sure what candy I want." She looked at all the choices perhaps the peppermint bark would be a good choice or maybe she wanted a candy cane. Coco finally decided on a purple thing of cotton candy and then she took a deep breath to gather her courage and then said. "Umm would you like to play a game with me?" She said looking at a stand with a green and red imp running a game of ring toss with plushies as prizes.
