Oh, Leucite regretted nothing about outing the General-King's rank. his aura did that all on it's own, really, but that wasn't the point. The point was that decorum and protocol had to be observed - and what better way than to lead by example. It was good to see that some were able to muster up a bit of professionalism before a General-Sovereign, even if some took it perhaps to the extreme. But, it showed proper loyalty and devotion - and really, at the end of the day that's all anyone whose interest was morale and retention could ask for.
"Thank you, Dravite, I'll keep that in mind," he said with an appreciative nod. "Though right now, I only ask you to do General Stibnite proud."
Though, he made a mental note to check in on the one that had taken a full knee and had declared her very life as forfeit if need be. That one looked like she needed some help - and whoever her commander was needed to... He did a double take - he recognized her. Noctua - she'd signed up for the Training Corps some time ago... He made a mental note that he needed to check in on her and see how she was doing.
He was distracted from his thoughts by the General-King's introduction of some familiar faces. Leucite's eyes went over the senshi that spoke in a soft whisper and he smiled thinly. "Ah, Valeria, I do hope this jaunt in the Rift goes so much more smoothly than the last time we where here, yes?"
His voice held a slight tone of warning to it as he spoke. "I do hope since that time you've learned the importance of following orders?"
Beyond that, he did not elaborate further before giving Benitoite a familiar nod. "The general and I are acquainted, Lord-General," He continued. "We've worked together before."
To the cat he gave a small polite bow of the head. "It is good to see that you are well, I do hope you were not too badly roughed up by some petty ice-cubes?" He said to the cat with a small smirk. But really WHO ATTACKS A CAT?!
His eyes began to scan across the gathered officers and his eyes landed on a certain corrupt who seemed to be giving the General-King a once over. He motioned to her with a hand, a wave of acknowledgement and welcome. He was willing to let what... had passed between the two... to be set aside for now. He had other issues to deal with, and inter-officer bickering was a waste of energy better spent serving the Negaverse as a whole. Plus, if she came closer and worked with them - then he might have a chance to bury the proverbial hatchet. Win-win.
When Arsenopyrite approached, Leucite gave the other general a warm smile and a nod. "Ah! General Arsenopyrite, how good of you to join us!" It was good to see the man, given how he held similar views to his own about some of the goings-on as of late. But it was something they would address - in time...
---
Captain Wardite
Wardite grinned and gave another low bow at the acceptance of his offer. Though, honestly - if Piy could get her claws into the man it would be even better. Granted, it irked him to have to share but... Well, it wasn't like it wouldn't serve them both well if she could manage to get some leverage and get them out of their current hell.
Though, further introductions were being made - which was hard to follow, because as more and more corrupt senshi neared, the more and more agitated he started to feel. A part of him - the one that had granted him the ability to recover from the ghastly wounds he'd suffered in the rift - wanted nothing more than to snap the senshi in half and consume their starseeds. Which would of course, be somewhat problematic if he were to do so. He was pretty sure that was frowned upon even if it would have felt SO good.
He did his best to hide his irritation with a wolfish smile at the two ladies, giving them slight half bows as his mind ran through scenarios best left unsaid. Oh, but for a minute in a dark place with one of them... just a few moments would be all it would take...
But no, he couldn't' - he mustn't. He couldn't let the youma-half of him take over and ruin what could be a possible lucrative escape plan.
The lieutenant though - he might be safe. Well, not safe but potentially useful fodder against Lady-of-the-resting-b***h-face.
"Oy, just hit me and Piypite up after this and we'd be more than happy to help you out, just give us a ring." He said to the Lieutenant with a wicked grin.
She counted her blessings that she did not physically jump when the other Lieutenant appeared and began to speak to the both of them. She did contemplate for a split second using his arrival as a screen to try and slip away, but that would have been rude to the Captain and she was a superior officer and you didn't run out on superior officers that's how you got shot in the back of the head with a .75 caliber bolter round and made an example of.
She wasn't no lowly guardsman, she was a Commissar! She was the one doing the shooting, not being the target! She took a deep breath and let the zeal of Lain's persona wash over her, drew it around her like a warm familiar blanket, letting it sit and stoke a warm fire in her gut as she looked between the two of them.
"Lieutenant Gunningite!" She declared, not giving a fellow ranking officer a salute because that would be silly. She turned to give the Captain a nod, she had been starting to say something about how similar their weapons had been when she had started out and she felt a flush of excitement at the idea that she older woman might - possibly - be able to mentor her in how to properly utilize it in combat.
"Pardon me, Lieutenant Chambersite," She said, holding up a hand in his general direction as she leaned in toward the Captain. "But the Captain and I were in the middle of a conversation, so if you'd just give us a moment!"
Keeping the hand up she smiled at the other woman. "Perhaps you could show me some proper techniques on how to better utilize my weapon in combat, when you have the time, of course, Captain." She said with an enthusiastic nod. "I would appreciate it!"
With that said, she dropped her hand and turned back to the other Lieutenant. "Now then, what were you saying... Oh! Connections... Like networking?" She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly. "I mean, it's probably a good thing we get to know each other if we're going to be working together I suppose."

General Stibnite
Stibnite didn't even bother hiding the annoyance on her face as more and more people seemed to flock over to Zink and bow before him as if he was king of some foreign country. Maybe she was the weird one but power or not, Zink was just another man to her. Sure she respected him but this little display...
"I understand the importance of showing respect to a commanding officer but isn't this getting to be a bit much?" Her words were to no one though the eye roll came as Leucite made the comment about following orders. His battle, not her own.
Turning her attention to Dravite, she gave him a soft nod. "My personal apologies to you. I did not expect this simple introduction before finding out the reason we were summoned would turn into..." Raising both hands, she motioned to the group around them. She didn't have a word for it but it was not a pleasant experience for her. Stibnite prefered shadows. Stalking her prey without first being seen. Though at the moment she had to wondering if Zink was becoming everyone's prey.
"So, General King..." She said with a mocking tone to the last two words. "How is that not letting everyone know you are back going?"
Red eyes flickered around at the group. She knew Beniotie. The senshi though were new to her. And the last General Leucite addressed....he did look familiar. She just couldn't place it at the moment.
But with a long sigh, Stibnite's eyes turned towards the tower they were before. Let others play who can devote more to who. Actions spoke louder than words after all. ---
Captain Piypite
"Thank you, Sir." Piypite smiled once more at the General King's presence before others came their way. The crowd was growing but her eyes kept going to the two women who were corrupt. She was drawn to them but at the same time, wanted to run a claw over through thin throats. Vile creatures...
It was an odd feeling. She never had liked senshi but since becoming a halfling, the feeling had grown. It was hard to hold back the blood lust but she knew better. Not in public after all.
At least not when someone would put her down. After all, it was just a game. ---

Corrupt Sailor Arabia
Her touch did not come as a surprise as she traced a finger softly over his bare skin. It made him shiver with a chill but he had come to expect some sort of physical touch from her. "Shame. And here I wanted to see where you would send me for a time out."
At her new question though, Arabia could only raise his hands as if standing before an officer. "I promise Mom. I did loosen up before coming here. Unless there is blunt force trauma, I'll be fine." Like when he punched a wall...or the sidewalk.
"But something else is on your mind?" He raised a brow, gazing into her expression as she questioned him with a look. "Or do I have something on my face?"

Guardian Silk
"I have a wha---" The kitten turned his head as a familiar voice called out, and his tail flicked a bit from its curled position over Adamantine's shoulder. "Oh, hey, Reven." He said to the other Guardian as she approached on the shoulder of a Captain. "Who's the Tron reject?" He asked, one eye narrowing as he looked over Nissonite briefly, his attention shifted to the other corrupt then, and his ego couldn't help but inflate at her words.
Now there was a senshi thing who knew what was up. Silk didn't beam, exactly, but it was easy to see that he warmed to Amphitrite by leaps. "Yeah!" He replied eagerly. "It's the sharpest, and nothing gets by, and even when it think it does, I chase it down!"
Speaking of---
The kitten stood on Adamantine's shoulders, turned, nails lightly digging into the senshi's collar to keep himself on, and he shifted from one shoulder to another. Silk slunk around the back of her neck, burrowing through the mass of white and and blue tinted sparkly hair until he came out the other side. He then proceeded to loaf on that shoulder. Had to keep the shoulders evenly warmed! He was a dedicated Guardian.
Once again, he leaned into Adamantine's hand from his new position, gold eyes peering around curiously when the question of who was asked.
Not quite as bored as if he'd been elsewhere, granted, but bored because there seemed to be small groups of people clustered together, more groups of people looking as though they'd just walked out of a bar together, and even more groups of people all milling around the General-King like ants swarming towards their queen.
Gadolinite supposed he could understand that, but on the other hand, he'd never really been one to fawn all over royalty, so maybe he couldn't after all.
Instead, he eyed their surroundings with a critical eye, arms folded across his chest, head tilted slightly to the side. Part of his mind was on whatever they had come into the Rift for - hardly Gadolinite's favorite place to be - but the other part of his mind was admittedly distracted by thoughts of Lev, because when wasn't his mind distracted by thoughts of Lev?
No. He wasn't going to think of him right now. He was going to focus.
Mostly because if he didn't, there was an unreasonably large chance of being eaten alive by a full fledged youma. It was possibly being dramatic, but Gadolinite had been warned about corrupted senshi and the Rift long enough to be absolutely wary of it.
He was deliberately keeping himself away from the majority of the rest who were all thronging around the place; he did not like crowds, after all.

General Arsenopyrite
Arseno was a bit flustered when he heard another familiar voice and turned to Leucite, giving him a nod of the head. "Leucite. I'm sorry I didn't see you." He should have, the other was hard to miss in the crowd. Arseno sighed and rubbed his head with his hand, almost feeling the beginning of a headache forming. He needed to fight, to get rid of this stress. "I apologize, my mind has been a bit... overwhelmed as of late. But I am glad to speak with you again." And he was. There were still certain things they needed to... discuss and hopefully take care of.
He turned to the other General, and he could have sworn he remembered her... the tournament perhaps? That went by so quickly and it had been some months. If he had fought her then, that was most likely where they had met. Probably. He wasn't sure. He needed to keep better track of names and use the database more often than he did. He forgot that he did have the tablet. But, he nodded to the other anyway, just in case though he did catch her mocking tone to the General King. Interesting. He thought. He didn't know the backstory and didn't care to, but it was interesting to take note of that perhaps not everyone agreed with what the General King had done in the past. Arseno was so knew that he did not know about this one.

Lieutenant Chambersite
Chambersite nodded to the Captain. "Captain Reinerite. Interesting." He hadn't really thought of mineral names before getting into all of this, but he made a mental note to look it up later. The minerals so often didn't match their name.
He almost jumped in surprise at the vigor that the other Lieutenant told him her mineral name that all he could do was stare at her a few seconds before trying to speak, when he found a hand in front of his face. He almost got angry, but the other spoke so quickly, that the hand was soon gone and replaced with a more friendly tone that Chambersite couldn't help but laugh a bit. He wasn't laughing at the other Lieutenant, only how they addressed him.
"Wow... okay. I wasn't expecting that but I can respect it Gunnigite." He said, giving her a smile. "Yes, it's one thing to read profiles in a database, and another to meet face to face." Profiles never told the whole story. "I think that would be good. If you don't know your fellow teammates, then it would be harder to get along and coordinate. If we don't get to now"
He was unhappy about being here for a variety of reasons - but the majority of said reasons could all be traced back to Annabergite's mood, which had been foul for the last several months straight with no sign of having improved whatsoever.
It was probably sticking, come to think of it. Annabergite had wallowed, and then he had cried for a while, and now he was just angry, because neither of the first two options had done him any good, and he would much rather just barrel through the unpleasant emotions, because what else was there to do?
Nothing. That was the answer. A big fat nothing.
So instead he was here, standing just outside of a huddle of gaggling fangirls and fanboys, a look of irritation on his pale face. Annabergite had barely noticed any of them, and the brief glance he had spared was rapidly turned away, because he didn't have the energy to deal with people today.
He had come because if he hadn't, he would still be at home in his stupid loft, by his stupid self, and he would much rather be doing something than hanging about eating Ben & Jerry's out of a carton and watching The Princess Diaries for the twelfth time. He felt like Elle Woods after being dumped by Warner, staring dismally at the TV.
Not good.
Annabergite twirled the blades in his hands, an absentminded gesture, mostly just because he had difficulties standing completely still.

Captain Nissonite
He gave Amphitrite a fond smile in return as she glanced back at him. He was here for her in whatever way she needed him to be. One of the very few people he got to hold onto through his corruption she had gone from being important in a way that baffled to him, to being essential.
Pale eyes flicked out and over her shoulder to the other corrupt and the cat loafing on her thin shoulders. He knew her name, could feel her rank against his skin like a constant buzz, but he hadn't ever formally met the other woman. So he offered her an easy grin now, stepping up to Amphi's side so he could offer a gloved hand, though his attention drifted for a moment towards he larger aura he could feel amongst them as it was brought up. There was a moment of reasonable curiosity before he was turning back to Adamantine, hand still extended in greeting. "Our general's said good things about you, it's nice to finally meet you in person, and work with you."
Silk's narrow-eyed stare hadn't gone completely unnoticed. At some point during the introduction he'd turned those wintery eyes on him, brows arching and lips tugging up in a smile that was almost daring. "I'm Captain Nissonite, newest member of the Wolfpack."
Hands falling back to his sides he looked a question at Amphi, wondering if she had any intention of doing as Adamantine suggested. Head tipped to one side to feel the brush of Reven's soft fur against the side of his face once she'd settled again.
Guardian Reven
A brief moment of alarm when a foot slipped, and then Reven was sinking back down to drape along the captain's shoulder's. Moving around too much was tricky when her perch insisted on moving as well. Better that she claim a more solid position, tail looped loosely around his neck above the scarf.
"He's-," she started to answer before Niss did so himself, but fell quiet until he'd finished. "Yeah. My girl had him brought over, he's her friend. Used to be a knight." If there was any sort of problem in divulging that information, Reven wasn't aware of it. As far as she was concerned he was with them now, and whatever he'd been in the past didn't matter anymore. He couldn't even remember being a knight anyways.
Bright teal eyes flicked between the three humans as they talked before landing of Silk again as he repositioned himself on the sparkly senshi's other shoulder. Following the line of his gaze out across the crystal studded landscape and slowly accumulating crowd until she spotted the man giving off the biggest, brightest aura.

Lieutenant Argellite
If she didn't count the whole mansion debacle--and she really didn't think she should, given the crazy circumstances surrounding it--this was Argellite's very first large scale mission as a lieutenant. It came with a mix of dueling emotions, most prominent among them being excitement and nerves. She really didn't want to let their general down, or the one that'd called for assistance, or the other lieutenant she was currently standing beside. Her hands practically itching to reach out for her companion's arm. She resisted, barely.
"Have you done anything like this before?" She asked of her friend, slowly turning in place to look in the vastness of the rift and just how alien it looked compared to anything else she'd ever seen, even counting the inside of the castle. This was bananas. "Been here, or been a part of something else this large scale?"
Purple eyes turned to Chrysoprase, looking for reassurances along with answers. She hoped the other lieutenant had some kind of experience with this sort of thing, it meant they wouldn't be heading in blind. Not that she did't think they could handle things, but having an advantage was always nice.
"It's weird. Like, spooky as hell, but kind of pretty at the same time? It just doesn't seem like this should be real, you know?" It looked like something you'd find in a high budget movie about space exploration or other dimensions. The fact that they were standing in the middle of it all was very surreal.
Lower lip drawn in between her teeth, Argellite's brows furrowed as she tried to pinpoint the source of the overwhelmingly large aura she could feel. "Do you know who that is?"
There'd been some warning. That was more than Seraphinite figured to expect in cases lately. Beat just showing up at a hospital and getting dragged into... ********. Twice. He was slowly forming an all-out avoidance of hospitals--and galas, and festivals, large social gatherings in general...--and it amazed him that the city even still hosted anything of the sort...
But there'd been a warning for this, for all available agents to show up for a recon mission in the Rift. That in and of itself had his attention and interest, nevermind this 'Broken Tower' place. He'd only been in the Rift a scant handful of times. The chance to go back in, learn more about the alien--sort of--environment... he was game.
Unfortunately for him, he also had to play taxi service and possibly guard-duty for a senshi. Well. Not just one. He'd arranged for one. Two showed up. "I'm not being held responsible if either of you get eaten," he grit out at one Corrupt who slid along beside him, aware at least of the younger one's growing tendency to slow down and gawk at things. The Eternal (he hoped) had more brains than that.
The directions had been easy enough to follow, though the actual trek... a different story. It'd been fascinating, but not a strong point for the senshi. Once they cleared the desert of darkness, burned earth, and glowing crystals, he'd been interested in exploring the Broken Tower. He let his boots scuff across broken flagstones, noting the crystals forcing their way between cracks and nooks in the pavement.
Already groups were forming, and he peered curiously towards the rather big power signature there. He'd felt similar once before, when Laurelite hadn't yet been Queen, so it was easy enough to connect the dots. But he didn't approach--there was already enough people seemingly there to speak to the General Sovereign. Instead, he moved towards a familiar face off away from the groups. Unfortunately, another senshi.
Why did Jet have so many senshi?
"Did you make it through on your own?" Seraphinite didn't really bother with a greeting to Gadolinite, but he was intrigued if the Super Senshi had managed to get through the Rift without troubles. There was a beat of a pause before he gestured to the two with him. "Rigel, I'm unsure if you two have met yet, one of Jet's. Carnelian. Gadolinite, one of the first Jet brought in." Each was motioned to with a hand in turn.
"Not trying to get eaten," the Corrupt had chimed in response to the Captain's grumbles as he pulled himself away from lookingat yet another formation of glowing crystals. "Just wish I could explore more around here." It was perhaps Rigel's only dismay about being a senshi instead of a lieutenant--the Rift was not a place he likely ever would be 'welcome' in. Not that even agents were, from what he understood, but still.
Cabhan had been intrigued by the summons that went around, relieved when Jericho had confirmed he'd help him get into Negaspace and then through the Rift. In fact, by the time he'd woken up, he'd had both messages waiting for him--the summons, and a text stating definitive time and place for where he would meet Seraphinite for the teleport in. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, and he'd been grateful for that. So he didn't bat a lash at the grumbles and growls. It was what it was. But he did send quick messages off to Carnelian, relieved when he got confirmations that the other senshi would also be present. He'd not confirmed with Jericho before sending Caleb the same information about time and place where he was meeting the Captain.
That had been an interesting thing to see the range of emotions flicker across the young man's face before he locked it down into neutral.
"Have you been in the Rift, or heard about this Broken Tower?" He peered up from beneath his hood at Carnelian, bone-heels clicking soon against stone pathways as they neared the impressive structure. So much crystal. It covered patches of the architecture like vines. Beautiful, really. The doorway was open to it, he realized as they entered the courtyard. And another path seemed to be open, though no one was heading for either. The pulse of Chaos around them had him curious and thrilled--what was that really big signature?--and his energy level began to boost back up even after the trek to get there. Now and then he leaned in close to Carnelian, arm or hand or shoulder brushing against the other's form.
Seraphinite began to speak to another senshi, and Rigel lifted a bound hand to wave lightly as an introduction--of sort--was made. "Hello!"
There was no excuse not to go. She resided in Negaspace. She didn't need assistance to enter the Hall of Shadows. She even had her own lighting to get through the places the crystals' glow didn't illuminate. Soon as the message was received, Carnotite set up her various online accounts to post things on auto for around a week and a half--just in case--and otherwise prepped for the trip into the Rift. It was the first big outing for her, since her promotion and alterations. Her reflection still confused her at times, no longer hosting the lightbulbs.
Her crown remained though. Orbs of swirling electricity crackled in the air above her head and she loved it.
Carnotite could 'dim' herself, sure, and around Negaspace, did as needed to not blind everyone she crossed paths with. But the woman thrived on being the focus of attention when she could be. As she made the trek through the Rift, aware that not all youma were keen to those who had merged, she did decrease her bright lights. Didn't need the bug youma to come crawling out. Blek. The chance to see more of the Rift though was a priceless one to her, only having been a few times yet. The tower as it came into view was breathtaking, and she marveled at its crystal captured structure. There among other agents, she searched for familiar faces, but preoccupied herself with examining the courtyard. Closing her third eye, she squinted up at the aged wooden sign at one end--a gateway to a bridge, and a place further beyond, huh~--and eventually caught the name once bosted. Portunus. Was this... an actual port? A place of trade and waterways? The electrical half-youma wasn't sure how she felt about that.
Slowly she wandered, aware of the groups that were collecting and forming--and the General Sovereign on the scene, my oh my, hard to ignore that signature--and at length came upon a taller man sporting a cane. Her gaze flickered up and down his uniform appraisingly, deciding she approved of the cut of his suit. He was closer to the tower, and she looked upwards at its form, opening her third eye once more. Curious if she could glimpse anything. "This place just seems to be full of surprises, wouldn't you say?"

Sailor Hatsya
When Benitoite introduced the other corrupt that had, in turn, swore her life to this General King, Hatsya had to fight the urge to roll her eyes at the display. You’ve got to be kidding me. Talk about extreme.
Hatsya was no fool, she knew why he brought her over to this group in particular. As if his threat upon their arrival wasn’t enough, this was just another power play to put her in her place and reinforce the fact that should she step out of line there were plenty here who would be willing, if not happy, to come to his aid and put her down. Whatever, so long as she took him with her it would be worth whatever sufferance came shortly there after.
Eyes the color of sunset narrowed in very clear annoyance when the general, that had literally dragged her here by the hand like an errant child, refused to so much as speak her name. He may be the one that conscripted her into this war but Benitoite was not her master, first he wanted her to come and now to speak. Screw you…
A minute passed before she finally spoke. “Mi nombre es Hatsya…” Only after she spoke her name did she shift her gaze over to the General King “Don’t worry I won’t be offended if you forget, I’m use to being a nobody.” Probably not the most respectful thing to say when everyone seemed to want to swear fealty or their first born child to the sovereign.
For the briefest moment her eyes somewhat softened as her gaze fell to an arbitrary spot on the ground. Zinkenite did not deserve her ire, but Hatsya didn’t know what side he was on either. What she did know was that Benitoite appeared to be in his good graces which did not bode well for her.
Once more she looked at the short blonde general and despite his outward appearance, she was fairly certain he was livid inside. Good. Hatsya thought as she turned to walk away from the group.

Corrupt Sailor Meridiana
Meridiana rolled her eyes at the ‘mom’ comment. Pardon me for caring… “Don’t worry about it,” She waved her hand dismissively “it’s nothing.”
Casually she crossed her arms under her chest, unconcerned with the way it accentuated her inner side-boob display. While it was a fashion quirk that she often used to her advantage so she could meet energy quota’s, her attire did make her stand out in Negaverse gatherings like this in a not so flattering way. All the officers and some of the other corrupts were graced with professional if not sensible uniforms, she looked like a walking dress code violation.
Fantastic. The smile that tugged the corners of her lips was anything but shy as she scanned the crowd of people gathering around a powerful aura she had only felt once before. A sovereign had join them, how fun. Unfortunately with how close they were standing she had no idea which one it belonged to since most of the faces she did not recognize.
“Well I’ll be damned…” Meridiana let out an amused hum. “Seems the Lieutenant showed up after all. Best I steer clear of that one.” Although their run in had been months ago, when he turned around and locked gazes with her she knew he remembered that day.

Lt. Dravite
Though he didn’t miss that curious grin, the Lieutenant nodded his head in reply to Wardite’s offer to reconvene after this meeting then turned his attention back to Leucite. “I will do my best sir.” While his initial meeting with Stibnite was under questionable circumstances that almost ended very badly for at least one of the three parties in attendance. His relationship with her had, in time, progressed to a mutual yet professional understanding.
He respected her enough to not pry into personal affairs and to not question orders for she had yet to ask him to do anything that would give him reason to disobey. At times she treated him more like an equal than a subordinate which was greatly appreciated, but that did not diminish the fact that while powered he was very clearly at the bottom of the totem pole next to the two corrupts that had joined the group.
Only when Stibnite voiced her apology did Dravite shake his head. “Don’t worry about it. Nobody could have predicted who would show up.”

Corrupt Super Sailor Noctua Noctua positively glowed as Benitoite introduced her, drawing closer to him as he did so. The approval from her own General and the seeming positive reception from the General King even softening the bristling from the derisive comment from the strange general and the eye rolling from the lower-ranked corrupt that she knew was directed at her. Where there would normally be temper and acid, there was now only a blank gaze cast at them both, held for one or two moments, and then turned to the tower before them.
She also noticed the half youma eyeing her. She felt the same as Cinnabar had felt, though perhaps lower in rank, but the hunger with which she regarded Noctua was strange. Even Faustite, with whom she was forever feuding and befriending again, did not watch her with such predation. It made the young senshi draw closer to Benitoite, reminded again where she stood within the negaverse. It stung, but the truth usually did. It was why she swore fealty to the strange sovereign. Why she clung so closely to Benitoite. She devoted herself to them and to their collective cause because that was a tools place.
And right now that place led her here, to this strange courtyard next to a strange building.
"I've never been here, Benitoite" Noctua mused, pale blue eyes scaling the full length of the tower. "Have you?"

Okay, she reminded herself, everything is okay. She wrung her lotioned hands, placed her lifted brows and tight-lipped smile accordingly, and faced the rest of the gathering around them. Everything was fine. Nothing could be finer. They were out in some super crazy scary place where a bunch of monsters roamed around but that was no big deal. No one was panicking. Nobody was doomsday chanting about how they were going to die out here. And the Negaverse insisted that they owned this place, anyway. So why was she all shaken up? This was like, the worst headspace for a game.
Chrysie jumped, her shoulders twitching hummingbird fast when Argellite suddenly spoke to her. "Huh? Umm," she chewed her lower lip in a quick feign of thought, "no, nothing like this. And I've never been in here before. It's… Not really my style. I like being around people, not creepies that crawl out of nightmares." Cuz that described just about everything that called this place home — including some of the people around the pair.
Not that she was naming names or anything. How could she? She didn't even know a name to name.
Then Argellite kept talking, as Chrysoprase hoped she would, and the lieutenant's eyes trailed toward the bleeding sky. The colors looked like something out of a horror movie's oil painting, which yeah, was pretty in its own way, but also pretty wrong. "Soooo… I think this is an Operation. Like, where a bunch of Negaverse people gather together and somebody takes the lead and tells us all what we're gonna do and how we're gonna do it. And if I'm right, then we just need to sit tight until someone takes the lead.
"Someone like whoever that guy is," she assented, "since he definitely feels like the biggest bad down here." Chrysoprase reciprocated Argellite's last question with a shrug of her shoulder. Where that person was, she couldn't tell, but looking for the tallest person with the fanciest uniform seemed like a good idea. Wasn't that usually how things worked in the movies? "Hey, let's look for someone to tell us what this whole thing is about."
beeeeejoux
I don't remember how to RP, sorry
General Faustite
The warm stench of history, the swallows of its eyes, the way it enters our bodies without permission.
Flame gaze guttered from the open hole in the universe and figured about the jittering bodies fleeting between themselves. People ran in concentric circles, ey found. First, at the center, the committers and abusers; then slowly ground around them in contrails their accessories, their smart pearl necklaces and throat-stained knives that ever look inward; then the gawkers, jutting mouths like outcroppings and eyes feasting violence; then the victims at the furthest point painted into the walls. Here was arranged a similar affair — around the bleeding vex of a sovereign gathered a group, then a group, then a group, with some scattered hem of human hands ringing the edge of their social strata.
Eir lips curved into a helix, a smoky smile. How their breath bates when they think they smell it on each other.
Faustite stepped into the collusion of presences, black hands clasped before the engine of eir being. Red-orange spilled over rock and outcropping before ceding to ubiquitous purple, which now muted their clothes and eyes and painted their skin as dead as the starseeds extinguished in eir person. Faustite slipped beyond the curls of presences and Presences until ey braced along the far wall, where stone helped bone help metal. Ey waited, close-lipped.
Chambersite and Gunningite Reinerite repeated mentally, as she made a note of the names that the two Lieutenants had given.
She couldn't help but feel amused asGunningiteraised a hand to stopChambersitein part sentence, because the two of them had been in discussion before the other Lieutenant, although she thought that she had done a relative good job of hiding it.
"I'd be happy to share with you some of the things that was shared with me when I was starting out - things that I found useful" she agreed with a nod. "There is also a training corps that is run by General Leucite which I would recommend that you sign up for." She glanced at Chambersite as she added, "That goes for both of you."
Reinerite had signed up for the classes herself as soon as the opportunity had become available and hadn't regretted it, despite the class with the tear gas, because some of the things that she had picked up in the sessions had been very useful - well at least she had found it so.
It seemed that there were still others trickling into the courtyard, her grey eyes narrowing slightly as she spotted a certain captain (Annabergite), remembering him from the last Nega-tournament.
