Ducky rubbed the back of his head with one hand, ruffling his hair that was tied back. This was quite an ordeal. The revelation that she was related to him made him feel incredibly uneasy. Nothing like finding out you were checking out a relative's a** to completely turn you off. He, too, got lost in his own head, trying to absorb this new information. Then, it suddenly dawned on him. How stupid could he be? It had been one of his reasons for starting on this pokemon journey, even though so far it's been quite minor on his list of things to do. He was looking for a younger sister that his mother had eventually broke down and confided in him about. About how she had given up her first baby girl for the sake of her family. Ducky could tell she felt incredibly regretful of giving up the child. It was obvious when Naomi was born that she was incredibly anxious about having a baby girl. Luckily, it turned out her worries had been pointless in the end. However, it only further tormented her heart. Which is why she had finally confided in Ducky about her hidden baby girl.
He felt stupid for having forgotten this part of his quest. He had been too busy focused on having his own fun that he didn't think too much about possibly finding his lost sister. And now, he was left standing in front of her. He was sure it had to be her. Even if it made him feel sick that he had been ... well, he didn't want to think about it anymore. It seemed to take her some time to finally answer him, responding that she was not from Johto, but had been raised in a temple by monks. She didn't seem to recognize the Koizumi name, though. "... this is so crazy... " he muttered, then looked down to Wei. It fit the story that his mother had shared, that she had left her baby girl in the care of some monks. "Katsu, are you sure?" Ducky asked the disguised solgaleo. "Absolutely." Katsu stated without any hesitation, his eyes fixed on Wei. The legendary could clearly sense the suanni in her, and despite the siblings having been apart for their whole lives, they held a sort of similar smell to them. It was unmistakable.
"Wei. It seems fate has smiled on us. I'm quite sure you must be my younger sister Mom told me about. My name is Dakota Koizumi of the Suanni clan. You can call me Ducky for short, though." he told her, bowing his head slightly in a proper greeting. It was an overwhelming moment for many different reasons.
Lucina smiled down at the twin ralts as they complimented her. "Thank you, but I am no goddess. My name is Lucina. It is pleasant to meet you two sweet girls." she replied gently, holding her hands together in front of her in a relaxed manner. They were quite cute together, their colors being the inverse of each other. One of them seemed shy while the other seemed quite enamored with her looks. It was quite flattering.

Wei, honestly knew not what to feel at a moment like this. Where she felt joy, she also felt a pain in her chest. Her hand clutched the stone necklace that rested just under her throat. The blonde male seemed absolute in his words, which made Wei want to question his insight, was he a monk? It was the only logical thing she could think of as far as him being able to detect something about her that she didn't even know. Though the blonde's gaze was back on the dark-haired male once more. "Younger... sister." He certainly looked sure of this fact by now. Who was Wei to distrust his words? She'd had a rather bad introduction to him, but he honestly seemed like a good man. Wei found a smile bowing at her torso quickly. "Ducky, a nickname is this? I'm afraid Wei can't be shortened down anymore." She replied, trying to make the pain in her chest leave with a bit of joking. "I can't believe all this is happening so fast. Wori Wori, you see, I had felt this was going to be a fun experience, and it was.. I've found a part of my missing puzzle." Again all Lan se did was nod. Though, she did step out a bit from behind her sister so that she was standing at her sisters left side. Leon had quite an air of frustration about him as he made his way out to the outdoor gardens. He didn't see Isis along the way, but then again, he was rather focused on that guy. Who the heck was that blond guy in the tux, and what the heck was he doing with his girlfriend? It had even seemed that she was having a good time with him, when he saw them together, which only fed into his streak of jealousy.
While Leon went out to the gardens, Kai and Ren lagged behind in the ballroom. Kai had caught a whiff of Isis' scent, deciding he was going to find her instead of following his trainer. Ren, not wanting to leave the ballroom anyways, followed the Feraligatr. The gator didn't take too long to find Isis, coming up behind her and snuffling against the back of her neck in greeting, giving her a lick just like a friendly dog would. "graaaah!" he growled cheerfully, tail swaying behind him. The ninetales stood behind Kai, looking mortified by his team mate's actions. Once Kai had Isis' attention, he took hold of one of her arms, giving a gentle pull back in the direction of the gardens. He wasn't sure exactly what his trainer was up to, but he had sensed it wasn't good. Besides, his trainer would be happier once he sees he found Isis and brought her to him, right?
It wasn't difficult to find the guy he had seen with Isis earlier. There wasn't room for thoughts of how unreasonable he was being at this time. He was just straight angry and jealous. He didn't care if the guy didn't happen to even know that Isis was already taken. His jaw was clenched as he approached the blond. "Hey, a*****e." It was the only thing he managed to say to catch the other's attention before aiming a left-handed jab at the slightly taller guy's chest.

Daiki, having finally gotten over himself enough to investigate what was going on, approached Ducky from behind. The disguised Zoroark wolf-whistled as he got closer, putting an arm on Ducky's shoulder. "You scored big, Ducky! When are you gonna tap that fine piece of- OW! hey lemme go!" Daiki suggested, though it turned into a yelp as Ducky grabbed his arm and flipped him onto the ground. The action had caused his illusions to drop, showing that Ducky was twisting the arm of a green-haired zoroark on the ground, and that Katsu appeared as he was - a solgaleo, sitting near Wei and staring blankly at the situation. "She's my sister!" Ducky hissed at Daiki, then released his arm. Once Daiki got to his feet, shaking off the attack, his illusions went back up, once more Katsu and himself becoming disguised. "Sheesh... You coulda just told me..." Daiki muttered, hiding behind Ducky to quietly lick his wounds. "Sorry, Wei... please ignore Daiki..." Ducky told her, embarrassed at the display. Even more embarrassing is if it weren't for her being related to him, he would have likely played along with Daiki. He didn't want to think about that, though. So he moved on to answering her questions.
"I'm really happy to have found you as well~ I was actually thinking from the beginning it might be impossible..." he admitted with a bit of a chuckle. In fact, he had completely forgot about his search until now. Not that he was going to admit that. He looked down at 'Wori Wori', now noticing the croconaw at her feet. It was a cute pokemon, in it's own way. When it came to Johto starters, he preferred cyndaquil and its evolutions himself, though. His attention swiftly moved to the pile of questions that Wei had unloaded on him. He gave it some thought before answering, specifically about their parents. It would be disappointing to come right out and say that his parents were a mess, that dad fooled around on mom, and mom allows this, and that their passion has all but died out. Definitely best to omit that. "We live in Blackthorn City, Johto. Our family actually runs a fighting dojo there. Yeah! I - we - have three other siblings. Keiichi who is our older brother, Naomi, our younger sister, and Cameron, the youngest and possibly most adorable little brother. Ahhh~ Naomi is going to be so excited to find out she has an older sister! Haha. Mom is very beautiful, and is very good around the house. She is sweet and kind-hearted. She can't even bring herself to swat a fly. Dad is outgoing and skilled with a blade. He can be a bit of a show-off, but it's kind of charming i guess." He answered all her questions the best he could, then smiled. Hopefully she would remain ignorant of how their parents really were, so that she could just enjoy the family as much as possible. "It's okay. It's not every day you find your missing family. I'd be full of questions too." he assured her.
"Dakota. Perhaps you could invite her to go inside with you? Is that not why you were hesitating in the garden?" Katsu spoke up, shifting his gaze to the male suanni. "Ah, that's..." Ducky mumbled a bit bashfully. "If Wei doesn't mind, then sure. I would love the company." he quietly admitted.
Lucina smiled as Fen introduced herself and her sister, the twins floating up to stand on a bush to be closer to her eye level. "Fen and Lan se. Lovely names." she commented, then listened to how Fen mentioned their trainers getting along. Lucina chanced a glance at Ducky. His anxiety was obvious to her, despite her having only just joined him recently. "I am also glad that they are getting along well. Dakota is nice at heart..." she said, keeping it brief. Dakota was rather complicated, which was clear even in the short amount of time she's known him. His conflicting, misdirected emotions were quite apparent to her, though he had done his best to keep it locked up. Lucina's attention returned to the twin ralts as Lan se spoke up. "Oh? That is quite a noble cause. I am impressed. I am helping Dakota as a favor to my original trainer. I am hoping I will be more helpful for Dakota than I was able to be for him." she smiled. It was a bit saddening when she thought of how she was unable to help Ezra, but she tried to focus on how she could help Dakota instead. Arceus knows he needed it. After overhearing Ducky's mumble, Lucina turned her head to give her two cents. "I think that would be a lovely idea. Shall we all head inside to enjoy the festivities?" the gardevoir suggested, this time speaking out so that she could be heard with her telepathy.

Just when she was feeling safe to assume what kind of person Ducky truly was, another man approached, only to be flipped across Ducky's shoulder and down to the ground before him For a moment before the male recovered, Wei noticed that... well, he wasn't human at all. Neither was the blonde male from earlier. She caught the appearance of the blonde, more fascinated by the sheer size change than in that of the one casting the illusion. "Oh.." She spoke, looking back to Ducky as the illusion was put back up. "You have an image caster." She noted. Still she shook her head. There was no harm done... though that sort of language... it made her question if Ducky had learned it from him or if it was the trainer teaching his Pokemon sleazy lines. Still, she'd overlook it for now. Not like she really had much knowledge on the fact regardless.
"Nothing is impossible, Ducky." Wei replied with a wide smile. After her flurry of questions, Ducky kindly replied in good enough detail about the things she'd asked about. So aside from Ducky she apparently had two more brothers and a younger sister. She'd of course always consider the monks at the temple her brother's Both younger and older, after all soe of the monks were only a few years older than her, and the eldest charge was going to be turning eighteen any day now. Before she could reply once more, and ask a few more questions, the Blonde male, the Pokemon in disguise suggested going inside, to which Ducky agreed. She nodded, feeling she'd been out here for long enough anyway. "Yes... it is getting rather chilly out here anyway, and I've had my fair share of the gardens. I also have some more questions." She replied. "Actually, I am feeling a tad hungry, I've never tried food outside the temple, so I'm excited to see what they have in this foreign land." Wei suggested. Pushing off, she started in the direction of the Palace, hoping to find the source of the delicious smells she picked up from the air.
Fen and Lan se meanwhile listened to Lucina with firm interest. Though their situations on how they came to be with their respective trainers was different, it was actually similar in other ways. Instead of Fen and Lan Se hoping to be more helpful to her, it was more like.. Wei would be more helpful to them. The twins could tell Ducky wasn't a bad man, but their powers, like Lucina were more on detecting their trainer's emotions. Of which, Wei was a confused and happy mess. They hadn't felt her be this happy until now, but with the flurry of confusion, excitement, hunger, happiness and several other emotions it was kind of hard for the twins to keep their eye on Wei for to long, even when combining their powers. In the end, it seemed the group had agreed to head inside, Wei starting to lead the way. Fen and Lan se floated towards Lucina, either twin grabbing one of Lucina's hands. 'I can't wait to see the inside!' Fen exclaimed. 'I hope it's not to crowded....' Lan se muttered.

Meloetta and Susan, who had been very patient while their trainer was being interviewed, soon joined the human again. Well, that was interesting! Dallas, you're famous already!Meloetta mused. Yeah yeah! We's famous now! Susan cheered. Austin laughed, and leaned against the railing of the gazebo once more. "Yeah, right," he scoffed. "I mean, we're doing great. Really freakin' great. But we're not famous yet. s**t, we're definitely on the right track, though." Now that he had some alone time, Austin decided to let the rest of his team out: Beltigre, Riptide, Duchess, and Buns. But, instead of falling to the ground into the fetal position like a good dandy would, Dallas ending up slipping back into his old habits. Running on the instinct that pain and anger bring, Dallas grabbed the stranger's arm that was still pressed up against his chest, and, with his other hand, grabbed hold of the assailant's belt before throwing the attacker to the ground with a loud thud. Whoa! H-hey, please don't fight! Meloetta was going to interrupt, but Susan blocked her way. Sowwy, Susan can't let Meloetta get involved! Dalpha's gotta fight stranger for dominance of pack! Susan was extremely excited to see her alpha fight!

Leon had thought he could handle anything this tux'd up guy could throw at him. What he hadn't expected was for the blond to grab his arm and throw him to the ground after taking the jab to the chest. It had certainly caught him off guard, giving him what he deserved for underestimating the guy in the first place. Leon grimaced a bit in pain, coughing a bit as he caught his breath after impacting the ground. This was nothing, even though it had surprised him. He had a rather high tolerance for pain, which meant he wasn't down for the count yet, even as the blond changed his way of speaking, moving to bring his foot down for a stomp to Leon's chest.
Leon intercepted the stomp with his right hand, however, grabbing his foot and shoving him back. While the other was off balance, he kicked out at the blonde's other leg to attempt to knock him to the ground. "Bring it, ********. I'll make you regret messing with my girlfriend." he got to his feet when he had the chance, having yanked his left arm free from the other. If the blond was still on the ground, he'd lean down to grab him by the front of his shirt, prepared to aim a left handed punch to his face.
"Are there really no takers on bets? Come on now..." some guy on the sidelines, watching the fight was calling out to other observers, trying to hustle in some bets on the fight. Leon had tuned them out for the most part, focused on beating the face of the guy he had seen with Isis.

It seemed that Austin's opponent had some fight in him. Austin was toppled and brought to the floor, feeling his teeth click when his head hit the grass. Sonuvabitch! Okay, he's starting to piss me off! He attempted to get up, only to find that the front of his tuxedo was being grabbed. It looked like the p***k planned on trying to punch him again. Another left. Geez, switch it up, moron. Since the attacker had one fist ready to fly and the other on his shirt, Austin, grabbed a handful of sand and rocks that covered the ground, and threw it into the crazy guy's face.
Whether it worked or not, Austin's next move was to tuck his legs in, and place his feet on the a*****e's stomach and push him off violently. With a little room now, Austin quickly got to his feet. "I don't know what you're talking about, s**t for brains," he spat. "I don't remember talking to any Wailord-lookin', Stunky-smellin' , Muk-faced bitches. So why don't you step on? Daddy's busy." He gave his best cocky b*****d grin, even with the back of his head throbbing like a sonofagun.
Meanwhile, Meloetta was flustered. How can someone so sweet to Pokemon be such a brute! How barbaric! Susan turned to the Muse, with a jagged, toothy grin on her face. Yeah, isn't it awesome! GO DALPHA! BITE THE HOOMAN'S ARM OFF! Beltigre and Riptide both cheered in their own way, but Duchess and Buns seemed to be on side of concerned more than excited. They knew their trainer was a tough guy, but they still didn't want him to get hurt.

Right as Leon was about to punch the blond in the face, a handful of dirt and rocks was thrown into his own face, causing him to reel back a bit, spitting off to the side and brushing the dirt from his eyes. He didn't spend too much time on that; having been a lifeguard for so long he was used to the feeling of grit around his eyes. During that movement, the other male had shoved him back with his feet, causing Leon to release the man's tux and take a step back to steady himself.
Leon grit his teeth and glared at the other as he blatantly insulted his girlfriend, though he obviously didn't know who he was talking about. "Don't ******** play stupid, a*****e. I saw you with Isis." he spat, getting ready for another go now that the other was back on his feet. He wanted to grind that b*****d's cocky face into the ground. He was still ignoring the commotion going on around them, rushing in to punch at the other with his left hand again. Except this time his intention was more to distract the blond with his fist while he aimed a swift kick to his side.
The long haired gentleman with green eyes on the side was racking in a few bets finally. They were nearly even, someone even bet that they both get expelled from the ball. Daiki would take that. "Haha, this is great! I knew it was a good idea to stay out here." Daiki commented with a grin, counting out the bets. Katsu seemed rather unamused. "So, humans still fight like this?" Katsu commented, a bit disappointed with the display. The princely blond instead looked around at the other people spectating, wondering how someone could just stand and watch this.
While Kai was leading Isis towards his trainer, there was a disturbance in his trainer's bag that he had been carrying. In a flash of light, a large pokemon released itself from their ball, floating up in the air. "I SMELL A FIGHT!" Delta roared, then focused in on her meatbag fighting some other meatbag. The stranger mentioned Isis, which was a surprise. This might be that Leon guy she mentioned. Now, a rational person would try to deescalate the situation; it was obviously a misunderstanding. If this was indeed Leon, then Leon might have just seen how fab Dallas' Austin disguise was, and thought the worst had happened. So, naturally the proper course of action would be to try and stop the fight and explain himself. They could shake hands and share a cigarette, and let the whole thing blow over. What a funny circumstance that would've been.
But, it was Dallas Tucker that had been threatened. And Dallas Tucker did not deescalate. A crowd was starting to form, and it looked like someone was even taken bets. How funny; even a bunch of fancy folks liked to see a good fight. And there was even a - gigantic Pokemon that looked a hell of a lot like Rayquaza looming above! What the actual...okay, this is getting silly. It was time get this fight over with. It was clear that (possibly) Leon was still coming at him, and he would have to act quickly. It was once again with the left punch. There was no way he was going to use his left again.Nice try, asswipe. Nighty-night.

Sounds like you've been busy again. Though I'm sure Atona isn't exactly having it any better if you volunteered him for that. I'm still in the ballroom, but I haven't seen Leon since we split off to grab our clothes.
So Leon wasn't with Zero. Isis frowned momentarily with concern, but she was sure they'd find each other soon. For now, Isis sought out Zero. It was fairly easy to catch sight of his light hair, but that was where the similarities stopped. ”Wow! If looks could kill." Isis chuckled, moving around Zero in a quick circle to take in his tuxedoed form. ”Good to see you again, agent double-o-zero." Isis chuckled, giving him a good humored salute. ”Have you seen the twins and Atona yet?" She wanted to try and find them all quickly so that she wasn't split up from everyone she was trying to divide her time between.
It felt like she was being pulled in every direction, literally—after Kai greeted her from behind with a huge slobbery lick, he began tugging at her arm. ”Aha! Hey Kai! That must mean—ah! W-wait! Where are you....?!" Isis felt thrown a little off balance. It wasn't like Kai was pulling too hard, but she was still a bit bewildered with his urgency. It was only when she re-entered the garden that she realized why Kai was so insistent.
Sure enough, Leon was in a fist fight with Austin. They likely didn't notice her at first, given the crowd that had accumulated, but Isis was horrified and confused by the brawl. She certainly hadn't expected Austin to be holding his own as well as he was, or be nearly as fierce, so the only logical conclusion she could come up with was that Leon had somehow done something to anger him so much, but that didn't make any sense given what she knew of Leon.
"Don't ******** play stupid, a*****e. I saw you with Isis." Isis heard Leon say. Wait, was that what this was all about? This was all just a big misunderstanding, if that was the case. Nevertheless, the boys continued to tussle and, to make matters worse, Delta had let herself out of her pokeball to cheer on the match. ”L-leon! Austin! Stop it!" Her voice was swallowed up by a mixture of the crowd cheering and jeering the boys on, screaming in freight from the giant legendary, and Delta's own roaring. Isis couldn't seem to get through the crowd physically, either. It seemed a swarm of people had begun placing bets on the fight, surrounding one man with long black hair tied back into a ponytail who looked outfitted very much like a casino worker; he had the tattoos peeking out of his sleeves to boot, completing the shady look. The other large and blonde haired fellow looked like a prince, more interested in the fight than the betting like his companion. ”Excuse me!" Isis pleaded to both of them, trying to squeeze through.
It was no use though, the boys continued to fight, no matter how much Isis tried calling out to them, she couldn't get close enough, and soon Austin had Leon in checkmate, maneuvering to what would be a devastating kick to the head. ”No!!!! STOP!" Isis screeched. Her voice echoed unnaturally this time, accompanied with the faint tinkling of a bell.
Isis had panicked. It seemed galas like these just weren't her speed if these were the dangerous sorts of situations she kept getting into. However, Isis found it strange how quiet and still everything became suddenly. As she opened her eyes again, Isis found the world around her to be grey and unmoving, with the exception of herself, Hinata, Leon, Zero, Delta, and—unbeknownst to Isis—Katsu and Meloetta. It took a moment for Isis to realize what had happened, but eventually she caught sight of the small green sprite responsible for the lapse in time. ”.....Hinata? Hinata what are you doing?!" The celebi turned and simply smiled childishly at her. "Bii!~" Then she darted over to Delta, scratching the dragon's belly but scolding her gently in poke-language for causing such a ruckus. "W.....aaaaait..... Don't tell me you only did this because Delta showed up?" Hinata seemed to ignore her, disappearing for a moment and then returning with Delta's pokeball in hand, making the colossal dragon disappear from view. She'd gone back in time, changing the outcome of events to prevent Delta from revealing herself to the general public, but it was difficult to tell if she'd done this for her own benefit as a guardian, or to help Isis. Maybe both, maybe nothing at all. It was impossible to tell with the finicky time guardian. Tossing the pokeball back up, Hinata released Delta again so that she could make the dragon promise to return to her pokeball before time started up again and avoid a chaotic future.
Now, Isis used this opportunity to break through the crowd and approach Leon, quickly pulling him out of range of Dallas' kick. "Are you okay?" Isis asked, concern written all over her features. He'd certainly taken a beating, that was for sure. "Biiiii?" Hinata floated over onto Austin's head and looked at Isis curiously. "Ah.... Yeah, you can re-animate him so I can figure out what's going on." But she mostly only agreed to it now that Leon was out of immediate danger. With a smile, Hinata hopped off of Austin's head and booped his nose before flitting off, and after a moment, his body began to move again, "Now then, would someone mind telling me—" She'd confirmed Leon was in no immediate danger, but that didn't mean he wasn't about to be. Isis grabbed Leon by the ear, yanking him down to her level and taking a deep breath. "—WHAT THE HELL YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING???" She seethed, looking to Austin with an equally scalding glare. "This is a formal event, not wrestle-o-mania. I don't know what started that fist fight, but both of you are on a literal time out until this mess is cleaned up." It was a bluff, given that she had pretty much no control over Hinata, but she silently dared either one of the men to challenge her on it. "For Arceus' sake! Is there some history here that I should know about that makes you both want to tear into each other like wild beasts, or is this really you overreacting to me having an interview with anyone of the male variety? Because if that's the issue, then we have a serious problem." The latter half of the accusation was quite clearly directed at Leon.
She was angry, but only because she cared, and she didn't like seeing her friend and boyfriend pummeling each other like this over a misunderstanding. Hell, she probably wouldn't like it under any circumstances. "Leon! You know better! And Austin! I understand needing to defend yourself against this oaf," Isis shot Leon a look for a moment in emphasis before returning to her point, "but was it really necessary to take it that far?! You nearly--!" Isis stopped, choking somewhat on her words. She couldn't do with this again. Not again. If Leon had been hit by that kick and suffered irreversible damage...
There weren't even psychics and zombies and murderous intentions this time, and yet, here she was. Leon knew that better than anyone, it was why Isis needed him and Zero here—to help her feel secure about going to this sort of event again, but here Leon was still throwing himself into danger over something utterly irrational and stupid and Isis was just.... Beside herself. "If you ended up like Ebony I..... I.....!" Isis huffed as fat tears welled up in her eyes, torn between rage and sadness. The former seemed to win out as she smacked Leon upside the head for good measure."You big dummy!" For all her talk about not fighting, Isis looked about ready to pummel Leon herself. Thankfully her physical altercations were nothing compared to the pummeling Austin had just dealt out. ✿ ❀

►Nis and Sin were last to follow the small crowd of people Isis was set to interview, into the garden. They stuck far enough to one side so they wouldn't be in the way while they watched. Leon knew he ******** up as he saw the blond step back and spin around, a left legged kick aimed right for his head. His own kick had failed to make contact, making his stance a bit awkward as the other's kick came in right on target. "s**t!!! he cursed his lack of actual fighting experience in his head as he raised his arms in defense, attempting to duck. He would have been too slow. But everything froze. Leon had been braced for impact that never came. "Fuuuuuuuck s**t that hurt!" he couldn't help but expel some choice words at the pain he was feeling from the fight, now that time seemed to be stopped.
A loud rumbling laugh and a soft tingle of a bell was all he needed to hear to figure out the culprit. Delta squirmed, laughing as the celebi got her in that one spot that made her feel like jelly. "LITTLE FAIRY! S-STOP!" the rayquaza pleaded, Hinata scolding her for making such a big scene. Delta was soon after sent back to her ball by Hinata, who let her out again to make her promise to return to her pokeball after they were done. "Little fairy... fine, i promise." she grumbled quietly, significantly calmed down from the hype now. The mega Rayquaza flopped on the ground, laying much like a sunbathing snake. She was disappointed that she didn't get to see more of the fight.
When Kai had seen the crowd, he had looked for a way through desperately with Isis, eventually moving to shove his way through before time stopped, freezing the gator into position. The egg in the bag twitched a bit still, however. Katsu tilted his head a bit, staring at the bag curiously. He had seen the celebi that had caused this time stop. He had seen the Rayquaza come from this very same bag too, joining in on the spectating. But just what was that in the bag? Katsu chanced a peek inside, seeing an egg there. A rather large, rare egg. The solgaleo left it be, stepping back to see that the blond girl that had been accompanying this gator had moved off into the makeshift fighting ring that had formed.
Leon nearly felt like collapsing out of relief as Isis arrived, pulling him out of range of the kick that he had been dumbly standing in front of him. The thought did occur to him that he should take this chance to get a few hits in on Dallas, but ultimately he felt that was just too unfair of an advantage to use. Which didn't really matter, since even if he did try, Isis had pulled him away. "You're a sight for sore eyes, Princess~" he sighed, giving her a half grin as she asked if he was okay. Now that he was up close, he could better see her gown. She was gorgeous. "I am now." he finally answered, the dork that he was. He was sore, and there was still some dirt clinging to his face and clothes. But he didn't feel seriously injured.
Leon moved to pull Isis into an embrace, only for his ear to get pulled by her as she had the blond guy unfrozen, demanding to know what the hell they were thinking. The lifeguard winced, both at the ear tug and the volume of her voice. "A-ah Isis! I was just- I thought-" Leon quickly stumbled over words as he tried to explain the situation. It didn't help that some part of him rather enjoyed Isis yanking on his ear. But that was counteracted quite well with how upset Isis was about the situation. She told them both they were literally on time out until things were cleared up. Before Leon was able to speak coherently again, Isis questioning if this behavior was from some history the two had, or if he was overreacting to her having an interview with another guy.
An interview.... Leon suddenly felt incredibly stupid. "It was.... an interview? Like your job? s**t..." he muttered, running a hand over his face in shame. Thinking back he should have just asked, but he had already been on edge due to being at a ball that it was easy for him to jump to conclusions. "I ******** up. I'm sorry i'm just..." he proclaimed, gesturing his hands in a way to convey his agitation. It felt awkward to bring up anything personal in front of Austin. Now he knew he had had no good reason to even have felt jealous enough to fight the other. It wasn't like the other guy would understand even if he elaborated anyways. Isis continued her scolding, wincing a bit with a sheepish smile as Isis told him he knew better. It quickly turned to scolding directly at Austin, which ended up with Isis choking on her words.
Leon immediately felt worse as Isis shared exactly how she had felt about what nearly happened. It wasn't something he had thought about before but seeing how worked up Isis was about how the fight almost turned out was like a smack from reality. He could have gotten seriously hurt if it hadn't been for Hinata stopping time right at that moment. "Isis... I- Ow!" he moved to comfort her, getting smacked upside the head by her as he did so. It didn't hurt that badly, all things considered. He still pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm sorry Isis. I was just... on edge ever since i got here, because of what happened at the... well, you know... When i saw you walking off with him I just... got stupidly angry and jealous." he explained, wiping away at any tears that may have formed on Isis' face. He then planted a sweet little kiss on her forehead. "Can you forgive your big dummy boyfriend?" he asked with a rather goofy smile on his face.

As Temperance approached the on-going fight, the more and more she grew upset. Austin was showing a whole different side that she hadn't expected, while the supposed lifeguard was fighting Austin. This came so suddenly, she assumed they knew one another, and held some bad blood. But fighting, of all things, in a place like this? What could drive a man to madness? Her approached slowed, the more she got to thinking. She was furious at Austin for being... two-faced as it seemed, but in the end, did she have room to judge? She wasn't entirely two-faced as in one side bad the other a mask of a good person.. she was good through and through. He had to have his reasons?
From the sky above a beastly Pokemon appeared. Temperance of course found herself staring. It wasn't everyday you saw a Mega Rayquaza. Were there people of La'ten here? Their guardian deity appearing here of all places... it seemed rather, unrealistic to expect someone of the La'Ten to be here. After all, they were bound to the La'Ten Forest... Shaking the thought from her head, she had more pressing matters to get to, seeing a Rayquaza was indeed something to write home about, but she was more worried about the friends she'd made.
Even as she pushed herself into the crowd that had formed, making her appearance front and center, she couldn't bring herself to step forward and interfere. But then her eyes widened at Leon's words. 'I saw you with Isis' Wasn't that the name of the young photographer she'd met earlier? The one who'd taken Austin away to do an interview? At this point Temperance was rather confused, though her own scowl began to form over her brow. However, this scowl didn't last long as suddenly a familiar blonde appeared, launching herself into the fighting ring to quickly subdue Leon. With that, the fight was over... or so it appeared. Temperance still couldn't bring herself to approach, simply watching from the side-lines with a look of disappointment in her eyes.

Austin was certain that he had landed a fight-ending kick. He was waiting for the sickly-sweet sound like a coconut hitting the pavement...but it never came. He didn't realize it for a good while, but he was frozen is space, or, more appropriately, in time. Meloetta noticed immediately, especially since she was one of the few Pokemon that were able to move around. Oh dear! What's happening now? She soon spied the Celebi that fluttered around, and realized that it had come to the aid of Isis to stop the fight. Thank Arceus! I was so worried that they would keep fighting! Many thanks and blessings to the Voice of the Forest~ and the photographer too~ Always trying to find a moment to perform, she was startled badly when the Celebi unfroze Austin, whose momentum sent him thudding onto the grass, face first. Ack! My trainer has fallen! The Voice of the Forest is a fickle ally~ or it punishes all so don't belie...rely? Hm...
Austin spat out a mouthful of grass, more than mildly annoyed at Meloetta's flighty responses. With a grunt, he got to his knees, and flipped over to sit on his butt. What the ********. Great. Everything's frozen. He finally saw what was going on: Isis had showed up with- another legendary Pokemon? He had witnessed more legends in the last day than he has in his entire life! Not that he was complaining; if it wasn't for Celebi's interference, he could've put Leon in the hospital with that kick. I really went overboard...godammit. Meloetta (who had settled on 'flying through the trees to reach the sky' for her little ditty) pouted and put her hands on her hips as she scolded Austin as well. You sure did! Just because that mean person attacked you doesn't mean you have to beat him up back! Austin would've explained to her why she was 100% wrong, but Isis was now starting in with her own scolding.
He was ready to tell Isis to go take her little soy boy and ******** right off...but, she was really worried about Leon, wasn't she? And she was her friend, after all. I'd best do the right thing. Austin stood with a little trouble, as he was definitely aching now. "Apologies are definitely in order," he said softly. "Even though I was quite literally sucker punched, a gentleman should show restraint, even in the name of self defense." he hastily brushed off the dirt and grass from his tuxedo, and with a quick hand through his hair, he actually looked rather presentable again. He looked at Isis, and smiled softly. "I won't ask forgiveness; I did try to kick your boyfriend in the head. But, I will ask that you forgive him."He glanced at Leon, and gave him a curt nod. "A man doesn't attack another unless he truly, truly loves the woman he aimed to defend. And, while the attempt was...not satisfactory, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Leon cares for you dearly." And, when Leon offered to shake hands, Austin took the offer, giving a firm one back. He even turned the handshake into a platonic hug.
Though, he did whisper some parting advice: "You're very lucky she bailed you out, Leon.Don't you ever forget that."
Before a response could even be given, the embrace was ended, and Austin stepped away from the couple. "Now, if you'd excuse me, I'll leave you both for the evening. I believe that's been enough excitement for myself. Good night, Ms. Nikon. Leon." He gave his usual bow, with Meloetta joining in, before the two of them went to leave. The rest of his team followed suit, but they all stopped when they spotted Tamara. While he wasn't embarrassed to know she had seen him fight, he knew he'd have to act as such. "Ms. Stonewall...I suppose I owe you an apology as well. You must think me quite unbecoming now..."
