About:
A naive Kumiho believed a Baphomet hybrid's promise that they would explore the new world together and start a family. Soon after, the Kumiho was left behind to be lost in the mountains, while the Baphomet escaped with their stone, eager to present it to the chimera hybrid they knew valued experimental imbues. Along the way, the Baphomet lost the stone on the coast after being struck by illness. The now-battered stone was picked up by a young, rather inexperienced Grimm, who accidentally awoke it before he really knew what he wanted to do with it. And, like that, Tiamat was brought into the world. Raised by a parent who ended up being more like a brother, she has been sheltered almost severely. Shy and reclusive, Tia finds comfort and security in her home, where she knows where everything is. Her Grimm guardian, extremely worried for her safety because of her lack of vision, kept her inside for most of her life. Any questions about her parentage were met with a 'iunno', and truly, her guardian didn't know. Going out was a rare treat, and Tia had little to no want or need to go out by herself without her guardian. When out with him, she shied away from strangers, and even when encouraged to go and make friends, she all but refused. Still, she enjoyed some hobbies, such as listening to and making her own music, and with her guardian, going and doing some gardening. As her guardian fell ill, Tiamat had to find a way to start supporting not only herself, but him as well. Accomplishing this through not only going to school to learn the basics of life, she learned how to use magic to get things done. A simple spell to get rid of dirt on clothes was turned into a spell to clean the house. A spell to crack an egg over a skillet was enhanced to thoroughly mix ingredients together to create a meal. Proficiency in magic came easy to her, and she even managed to use an odd form of echolocation-based spells to 'see' the world around her to be able to go out and get medicine and food. It seemed all too soon that her guardian, ill as he was, was picked up by his estranged family while Tiamat was out on errands. Returning to an empty home with a hasty note on her bed jarred her into a state of shock of which she hasn't yet recovered. This is where her journey forwards begins.

Namida is an extremely positive and friendly girl. She likes to think the best of the world and everyone who lives in it. She throws herself into whatever project or relationship she starts, and will excitedly chatter about them to anyone who will listen. It isn’t an odd sight to see her hugging, leaning, or even wrapped around the people she cares about. She likes to have some sort of physical contact whenever she's around other Nightmares/Daydreams, finding it comforting and reassuring.
She can be pretty whimsical about her favorite of the things she likes or wants to study, going from being obsessed with books to practicing magic to ogling over the violin, with ease. Some days she wants to hang out with a particular person, and the next might want to hang out with a completely different group, but she does tend to stick to one area or person at a time. She's a social butterfly among all sorts of other students and tries to make sure everyone is happy and doing well. Being a cache orphan, even one that was adopted by a family, makes her especially want to make sure everyone's alright.
That being said, she's a bit naive about the world and her help doesn't always improve the situation. With her whimsical and exuberant nature, she has a hard time stopping to think things through. She likes to jump into situations without knowing the full story and help out who she considers the 'wronged' party. Sometimes that works out well for her, and others it’s ended with hurt feelings all around. Most of the time you can find her with a book, reading, or studying the various magics of the world, even if she can't do many of them very well at the moment, or outside trying to learn how to fly better or just enjoying the weather. She studies hard, wanting to do the very best she can as she grows.
She loves fruit, there are so many different kinds and ways to eat them, but she also won’t turn down a sweet, be it cake or some other kind of pastry. She absolutely hates shoes, and will find any excuse not to wear them, but she adores socks and even has a small collection of brightly colored or patterned ones. There’s no real “favorite” place for her since she can find something beautiful about just about any place, but she loves going to new locations, especially with friends.

Very like his Zodiac’s name(the companion), Chishio is a wonderful companion. Trustworthy and loyal, you can tell him all your secrets and he’ll never breathe a word of them. He doesn’t gossip or tolerate lies getting spread around. Once he’s a friend, he’s a friend for life. Unless you do something completely unforgivable, you can count on him being there for you. The closer someone is to him, the more willing he is to go out of his way to help them. Casual acquaintances, if he has time and isn’t doing anything, he’ll help. For his partner(s), he’ll drop everything to go to their aide. While he’s willing to be there for someone, he expects the same in return.
A major thing for him is a need to be with someone. It doesn’t matter what he’s doing or where he is, Chishio needs to feel as if he’s a part of a team. He doesn’t want to make all the decisions on his own and would prefer to be a follower rather than a leader. Getting put on his own makes him anxious and he’ll struggle with the feeling of isolation. His companion doesn’t necessarily have to be someone his own age. A caretaker or mentor would work in place of a peer.
He’s incredibly hard-working, if a bit cautious. He makes the time and effort to get things done. He likes to study things from every angle before making a choice. If there’s time to think something over, odds are he’ll make the best decision, but if something has to have a quick choice he can freeze or over-complicate things in an attempt to make the right selection. When making friends, he waits a bit to see what kind of person they are before deciding for or against them.
Unfortunately, all the hard work and caution in the world can’t help his clumsiness. He trips over his own feet, drops things, runs into walls, the list is endless. A first aid kit is part of his everyday bag and thankfully he’s only gotten a major injury once so far. The evidence tends to keep itself small in the form of nicks and bruises.

About: { still deciding on his name, but have his code name at least } He is from two powerful families, one consisting of gifted medics, the other composed of deadly assassins. The two families often work together, and have created a strong bond over the years, as well as a well known name for themselves. All children from both sides are taught from a VERY early age some sort of medium that follows their families trade. In "Plague's" case, he was taught both the ways of an assassin and a medic. He is a very studious, nervous creature, more comfortable dealing with work related things, than people. He tends to get very flustered and socially awkward when put in a situation that he has to interact with others... he's also painfully honest via his expressions/reactions to things. A huge romantic, but far too shy to ever follow through with his nature, he will often quietly pine after those he's found admirable, or attractive... causing him to get distracted quite often.. and get caught daydreaming. Plague is also quite self-conscious. He was born with a family mark that only shows up on rare occasions. It's earned the name "black plague" for its typically dark colouration, and foreboding imagery. While some in the family think it represents a bad omen, others find it to be a blessing and have ended up really pampering and having high expectations for Plague. It's safe to say that this has aided in his wallflower tendencies. He really looks up to his twin, and finds comfort--as well as envy--with him. He truly hopes to be more like him someday, finding himself inferior in comparison to his more lively, and bright brother.
But he excels at both his medical work, and as an assassin. With his pursuit in becoming a licensed doctor, he has taken a liking to understanding viruses, poisons, and the like. This has translated to his work, in some capacity, as he's taken to being an excellent marksmen as well. His reflexes are superb, causing him to be a top notch sniper... some of his ammo a slow inflicting sickness, rather than a swift shot of a bullet to a vulnerable point. But while he is a dangerous force to reckon with, he is highly caring and nurturing towards others.

About: { Haven't settled on a name for him yet. His code name is also kinda being decided on too. } Like his brother, Viper has excelled tremendously in the arts his family have practiced for centuries. But unlike his brother, he didn't show as much interest in both, as he did in the assassin branch of the family. He took a great liking to athletics, training, and practicing the deadly arts. Finding a liking with blades, as well as more uniquely designed weaponry--such as metal talons, attached with metal wire--he put most of his efforts into really mastering various techniques to take into the field. When it came to the medicine half, he found interest in the more surgical, and invasive work, causing him to follow the path of becoming a surgeon, going to the same university with his brother.
Viper is an opposite to his twin in many ways. He does tremendously well in social situations, thriving off of attention, and demanding it in most cases. Extremely flirtatious, he isn't' afraid to go after what he wants, and make it clear what he wants... sometimes at the expense of others. Selfish in most cases, it isn't uncommon that he'll rub others the wrong way, especially since he enjoys showing off to feed his inflated ego. But if there's one person who he can show some softness, and be less abrasive towards, it's his twin. He cares and loves for him more than anyone, and is fiercely protective to a fault, especially knowing how meek his brother can be.

❤ Okay! This was really tricky. A lot of you had really interesting concepts and/or designs for your characters. I had to factor in a few things to my decision though: My own ability to create your character the way you want them as well as the overall complexity, and which stories appealed to me the most.
That said, I've decided on my winner! ...Or rather... winners?!?!
That's right! There were a couple concepts that I liked so much that I just HAD to pick more than one.
