General Personality Very like his Zodiac’s name, Chishio is a wonderful companion. Trustworthy and loyal, you can tell him all your secrets and he’ll never breathe a word of them. He doesn’t gossip or tolerate lies getting spread around. Once he’s a friend, he’s a friend for life. Unless you do something completely unforgivable, you can count on him being there for you. The closer someone is to him, the more willing he is to go out of his way to help them. Casual acquaintances, if he has time and isn’t doing anything, he’ll help. For his partner(s), he’ll drop everything to go to their aide. While he’s willing to be there for someone, he expects the same in return.
A major thing for him is a need to be with someone. It doesn’t matter what he’s doing or where he is, Chishio needs to feel as if he’s a part of a team. He doesn’t want to make all the decisions on his own and would prefer to be a follower rather than a leader. Getting put on his own makes him anxious and he’ll struggle with the feeling of isolation. His companion doesn’t necessarily have to be someone his own age. A caretaker or mentor would work in place of a peer.
He’s incredibly hard-working, if a bit cautious. He makes the time and effort to get things done. He likes to study things from every angle before making a choice. If there’s time to think something over, odds are he’ll make the best decision, but if something has to have a quick choice he can freeze or over-complicate things in an attempt to make the right selection. When making friends, he waits a bit to see what kind of person they are before deciding for or against them.
Unfortunately, all the hard work and caution in the world can’t help his clumsiness. He trips over his own feet, drops things, runs into walls, the list is endless. A first aid kit is part of his everyday bag and thankfully he’s only gotten a major injury once so far. The evidence tends to keep itself small in the form of nicks and bruises.
Traits Positive: Hard-working – Chishio puts the time and effort into doing the best he can with whatever he puts his mind to. He makes sure to study diligently and gives it his full attention. He’s the first to raise his hand if he doesn’t understand something and one of the last to leave the classroom once class is over. For the subjects he’s not that great at, he gives it twice as much effort as those classes he excels in.
Trustworthy – His friends know that if you tell him not to tell a secret to someone he’ll keep his mouth shut. Chishio wants to be someone people can come to and feel safe to tell him their secrets. If he says he’ll be somewhere or do something for you, it’ll happen. In return, he expects to be able to do the same with you. He’s a pretty good judge of character, so most of the time he doesn’t have any trouble with this.
Loyal – Once you’ve earned his friendship, you have it for life. Chishio will go to great lengths to help and support those he cares about and it takes quite a bit to stop him from feeling loyal to someone. He’ll stick up for his friends in arguments and won’t put up with anyone talking bad about them. Often his loyalty goes farther than what would be expected and he has a hard time denying his friends anything.
Negative: Codependent – Chishio needs to feel needed. His own wants and desire aren’t as important as those of others. Most of his actions are based on others’ feelings and needs rather than his own. He volunteers to help more than anyone else and constantly checks to make sure everyone else is taken care of. He has an extremely hard time telling people no, with much of anything. If his needs/wants conflict with someone else’s, the other person’s will win.
Clumsy – This bapho trips, drops things, runs into walls and furniture, and manages to make a mess on a regular basis. It isn’t unexpected for him to have bruises and scrapes on a regular basis. Sports and the like are virtually impossible with him hurting himself playing or breaking the equipment. He spills his drinks and food often enough that the caretakers give him cups that are hard to spill and plates that won’t break if he drops them. Chishio is very distressed by these things, and has been known to cry on occasion when something happens.
Insecure – Chishio feels he’s not good enough for anything. He believes if he’s not constantly helping people out, giving them things, etc, they’ll abandon or reject him. He’s very reliant on others to assure his self-worth. In the face of conflict he’s not much of a help, feeling like a victim and unable to be heard, sympathized with, or understood. Because of his codependency and generous nature, he doesn’t appear to be that insecure and tries to keep this nature to himself.
Neutral Cautious – Chishio doesn’t like to rush into things without knowing the situation. He tends to remain neutral in confrontations and tries to figure out what’s going on before he’ll take a side. When there’s something new to be done or around, the bapho will try to learn a bit more about it rather than jump in and poke at it. With some things, like dangerous objects or people with sharp tempers, the cautious nature can be a benefit. But in other situations it just makes him look hesitant or weaken his cause.
Generous – Chishio loves to give presents and will in fact over gift others when he’s excited. He’s willing to spend time helping someone out, even when he has things he needs to take care of himself and takes better care of his relationships than one would expect. This can be a double edged sword. His habit of giving so much of himself can lead others to expect that much from him and when he is unable to commit so much they’ll be taken aback. Not to mention this leaves little time or energy for his own goals. However he does tend to make more friends for his efforts and is generally well liked by his classmates.
Hobbies Cooking – Currently, he loves to help the caretakers when they’re preparing snacks for everyone. That’s not to say he’s very GOOD at the helping, with his clumsy nature. But he tries his very best and refuses to give up. Most of the time he ends up with SOMETHING to show for his effort and is pleased as punch when his food is met with satisfaction.
Crafts - This freshling really enjoys making things, especially when they can be gifted to others. He doesn't really have a favorite medium or craft at this point, so he's dabbling in several different ones to try and find the one that works best for him. Amateur whittling, knitting, plush crafting, coloring; all of those and more are in his current repertoire. That's not to say he's perfect at any one of them, but he can produce something recognizable at the very least.
Ukulele – While he can’t play just yet, he likes to learn little tidbits about the ukulele and how to better play. Nobody he knows owns one though and he can’t quite afford to get one of his own. So he suffices with learning about the instrument in the hope he can one day get one.

Relationships Love: Presents, presents, presents, presents. If you and your closest friends/family are getting gifts from this bapho, odds are he likes you. Chishio will enjoy cooking for his significant other and trying to make them small presents. It will be profoundly obvious when this boy has his first puppy crush, as the lucky recipient(s) will receive plenty of gifts. Himself: As a freshling he won’t realize he’s any different from ‘normal’ and won’t be bothered by being an orphan. Junior years will be spent either coming to terms with it or becoming upset with it. He fits in well among typical Baphomet culture though, and will likely connect really well with baphomets from families and the cache alike. Enoch: He didn’t really fit into any of the houses as a freshling, so he picked the one with the color he liked the best. As he grows older, the house will be more to his liking. It’ll have other alchemists for him to chat and get along with. Odds are he’ll also spend plenty of time with arkham students to do his cooking and to help with creativity. Baphomets:. He loves Bapho culture and is very at home with other baphomets. He fits in well with his race and wouldn’t change it for the world. Other Races: Chishio gets along well with all other races. While he can see the reason most cultures are wary of Geists, he doesn’t feel the same.
Past As a typical cache baby Chishio is being raised by the academy. Thus far he's been pretty well cared for by all the caretakers. He gets along reasonably well with his peers, though he gets a bit of ribbing for being a mite bit taller and clumsier than most of his classmates. He takes the teasing well, for the most part, and talks to the caretakers when it goes too far.
Ever since he was an infant he's always been a bit clumsy, knocking things over or running into stuff. It wasn't unusual for him to drop things or trip over himself either. When he was a younger freshling, while he was attempting to grab a book from one of the higher shelves for one of his classmates, he managed to knock the entire bookshelf over. The bookshelf fell on top of him and he ended up with bruises and a broken arm. Thankfully he managed to knock the other nightmare away so they weren't hurt. The experience has made him pretty wary of the library, but he tries not to let it bother him too much. One good thing that came from it is he ended up ambidextrous because the broken arm was his dominant one.
As he becomes a junior, he’ll discover the wonders of alchemy and become enamored with them. Somehow or another he’ll end up breaking off the tips of one of his horns and getting majorly hurt.
Senior year will be devoted on more alchemy and chemistry. Once he graduates he’ll go to Leviathan to double major in Alchemy and Chemistry. He aims to study different alchemic reactions and the parts that make up everything in the world. Ie, He’ll go into research at one of the major cities.
Likes and Dislikes + Presents! – giving and receiving + Baking – especially cookies and other pastries + Helping people out + Volunteer work - Isolation - Independent work - Getting ignored
Religion Oreia is the Patron that Chishio will eventually find. As a freshling he won’t feel too drawn to religion, but towards the end of his junior year he’ll find a reason to start asking for guidance and help.

Prompt Response
Prompt 6 “Something has just reminded your Nightmare of a poignant memory. What was it, and what was the memory?” Chishio just knew that it was an especially good day today. Today was the first time in a long time that his class got to go to the library and pick out a new book. If they were especially well behaved, then the librarian would read them a story! Chishio practically vibrated with excitement and nerves as they prepared to head down. It was always so when he got to go back. Ever since he had knocked that bookshelf over and broken his arm he’d gotten nervous around the library. That hadn't stopped him from visiting it or checking out new books to read however!
Chishio took a deep breath as they all lined up and the caretaker in charge got them heading down the hall. He could do this; he knew he could. One of the more familiar caretakers, a Baphomet like him, was nearby and the freshling couldn’t help but reach out to grab their hand. The adult, well used to this behavior, gave his hand a soft squeeze and let him hold it for the rest of the way. While his class wasn’t super quiet, they did manage to keep their volume to a dull roar and stay in a more-or-less neat line.
It didn’t take them very long to reach the book filled room and here Chishio took a deep breath and let go of the hand he was holding. Puffing his chest out, he went over to one of the bookshelves and started to look at all the books. What would be the most fun to read this time? He wondered to himself. The entire area he and his classmates had been released into was filled with brightly colored books and small comfortable chairs. A thumb slid into his mouth and he nibbled on it as he looked through the multitude.
As he stood there and tried to figure out which book he was going to get, he noticed one of his classmates trying to reach a book on a shelf just a bit too high for them. Chishio, being a bit taller, would be able to reach it though! He brightened and went to go help. “Here, let me get it!” he told her, moving closer to reach the book. Stretching up on his tiptoes, his hand reached up and up and up for the bright red book the girl had wanted. One of his hands was pressed against the bookshelf for balance while the other reached up. Suddenly, it moved. With a startled cry, he pulled away quickly and knocked the demon girl back.
Vividly, memories of the previous occasion he’d felt it move flashed before his eyes. The bookshelf had wobbled and then fallen towards him and the other bapho he’d been helping. He’d shoved the other boy away in time, but been trapped under the mountain of books himself. There had been a sharp crack and then sudden pain in his right arm. Liquid had dripped from his arm and he lay dazed under the shelf. Caretakers had swarmed to get him out as quickly as possible and he’d been taken to the hospital. Thankfully he’d fainted halfway down the hall, in the arms of one of the caretakers who’d told him he was going to be ok. The next time he’d woken had been at the hospital for a brief flash of doctors all around him and then it had gone dark again. The last time had been after they’d fixed him up and put a cast on him. He’d woken in a bed surrounded by balloons and plushies from his classmates, telling him to get well soon.
As had happened the last time, he’d pushed away the other nightmare before covering his head and clamping his eyes shut. He waited for the rain of books that would indicate the bookshelf had been knocked over, holding his breath with tension. Several long silent moments went by before he peeked one eye open. Nothing happened. Not even a single book fell down. Flushing a bright embarrassed color, he looked at the bookshelf. It looked like the books he’d been leaning on just hadn’t been pushed in all the way. His cheeks turned a shade darker as he retrieved the book he’d been reaching for and handed it to the demon girl with a mumbled apology for shoving her. Unable to believe himself, he quickly made his way to the opposite side of the room and threw himself into one of the chairs. His hands flew up to cover his face and he drew a deep deep breath in. How embarrassing! Sure enough, he could hear a few of his classmates whispering about what he had done. When the teacher called them all together to hear the story he could barely manage to pay any attention and when they had returned to the classroom he realized he hadn’t even gotten himself a book.

Crit Incoming! Hi there! My first post glitched out so sorry about that. sweatdrop Your appearance looks fine, nothing wrong there. As for your personality, we require traits be written out. We need to see how they effect the personality, and I highly suggest looking at some of the other accepted quests to get an idea of what we're looking for. Does he have any other hobbies? We do need an event that shaped him to be how he is today, and I didn't see one right off the bat after reading. Please expand on his past, we don't need his future at this point. Your prompt could use another run over. For the most part it's okay, but it reads very choppily. If you could work more on smoothing it out and adding some more emotion, I'm sure it'll be fine. Let us know when you're ready!

XD I had wondered how I had gotten quoted in a nonexistent post. Just to make things easier, all changes have been done in violet. (which, after I changed the colors, I realized was almost everything orz) All the traits have been written out and expanded on. I also gave him a couple more hobbies. I figure he's a middle freshling, not just arrived but also not about to graduate. So other than the bookshelf falling on him, there hasn't really been anything major that's happened to him. I did give that a bit more detail, as well as cover it in the prompt response. Let me know if that hadn't been what you were looking for. Aaaand then there's the prompt. Which I entirely redid to make it more cohesive and emotive. I hope the second version reads much better than the first did.

Crit Incoming! First off, thank you so much for doing it in a different color, you are amazing. Your traits look amazing, so you did an awesome job expanding on them! The expansion on his bookshelf incident looks good too! And your prompt is awesome too! You did a great job redoing it! Thank you so much for taking the time to do that. Thus, I'm going to mark him as accepted! Congrats!
