He had been figuring this would be a normal tour, even though he didn't see the whole point. He supposed it wouldn't be bad to see the new hospital the city would have, there was no telling how many times he or someone on his team might wind up in here. He also had a feeling his mother might have donated to this places construction, or maybe his father.
He'd been standing next to his elder cousin, Hux, when the lighters flicked before going out and a familiar voice came out over the speakers. s**t...
He knew Obsidian, though not well, and that General had always given him the creeps. Taking a deep breath he looked to his cousin, when the emergency lights came back on. "No. I wouldn't be playing this game, with him incharge of the game if I did." He stated in a whisper just for Hux to hear.
Blindly reaching out to grab at something, he'd need a weapon if he was playing a game set up by Obsidian. "Keep close. Looks like we might be causing a mess here." Play pieces or not he was ready to draw some blood as well, and make a mess.
A sharp stap of pain drew a yelp from the short woman and she jumped, dancing about to get a look at whatever had gotten her. Unfortunately, the floor looked clean and empty, as it had when they’d entered. Even bending down to look under the tables produced nothing…
Hissing in discomfort, Sid twisted her leg about to see a hole in her tights that hadn’t been there before… and a slash across her skin that was starting to well up drops of ******** hell…” She breathed as she gripped her knee, glancing up at the other people around her. There was something here. Something small, and fast. It was probably a youma, which was just… fantastic. “We gotta get out of here, guys… I am not sticking around to see if that guy was serious or not.”
She was pretty sure the answer was ‘not’ anyway.
The door opened finally and the group began to shuffle out of the room, one colorful DJ limping along with them, as crowded into the center of the group now as she could be. Out in the hall, she struggled to see much past the bodies around her. Maybe some bad planning on her part, with how short she was. She might have meat shields, but ******** if she’d see anything coming. A glance to the left, caught between shifting bodies, gave her a glimpse of some figures down the hall and Sid’s stomach dropped out.
s**t… those had to be officers. Sidling back, Sidney wormed her way between people with a liberal use of elbows, heading quickly in the opposite direction. The oxygen tank scraped the ground as she dragged it, but it was the only weapon she had.
”Hey!” Ilian shouted at the shadowy people when he saw them. Were they part of the Negaverse? He couldn’t feel any auras like this, and he didn’t like it. “Hey, are you two with General Obsidian? Where is he? Does he have any idea what he’s doing?” Ilian stormed down the hallway, not caring that it was probably a horrible idea to chase after shadows.
He didn’t care though. He knew the others would most likely hang back. Or maybe Jericho would follow after him because he knew Ilian was prone to doing things he shouldn’t. But the sooner he figured out what was going on, the better.
So far, Ilian had ignored Cabhan. Cassadega knew to keep an eye on the man when he'd dropped him off at her house after he'd been corrupted, and he’d already told Jericho to keep an eye on the kid. He didn’t want to talk to Cabhan more than he had to, and as long as he wasn’t causing Ilian trouble, he really didn’t care what the other did.

Cassadega Bright - With the Oxygen Tank - Going After Shadow Things~(Option Two)
"What else am I supposed to right - ow -"
Something cut across the back of one of her calves and she jerked forward, low hiss of pain sliding between her teeth as she tried to whirl around. Unfortunately for her, she saw nothing except the cut that began trickling blood. "Son of a - " She swallowed the rest of her curse, fingers running against the wound and trying to weigh her options.
Well, she wasn't wearing anything that would do much when it came down to wrapping the wound. It wasn't too deep so she figure it would probably be fine. Leaning against the surgeon's table for a second, she tried to focus on everything else that was going on. Cabhan had found her again, which was good because that way, they each could have a buddy to stick with if the need to split up arose.
Cassadega was confident enough in her own abilities to feel like she could handle her own and well, Jericho and Ilian had known each other for years, so keeping Cabhan closer was more ideal anyway.
Looking back the way they came, Cass squinted at the shadowy figures. While trying to decide if she'd approach them or not, their leader had already begun down the hallway and with an amused grin that had no place in this situation, she followed after hand reaching back for Cabhan's so she wouldn't lose him this time.

Alexandre Evans Option 1
Watching as Hux had helped he had stood around, trying to figure this out. There was no way he could power up here, too many people, but he was trapped and by one of their own plots! Well maybe not the Negaverse's plots per say but one of there members, or a few, for sure. He would congratulate them on such a large scale plot, though not literally congratulate them, but someone could have been nice enough to tell other officers about it so they could avoid it.
With nothing but a broken wheelchair part in his hand he followed after his cousin. He was not getting involved in shadow figures, which he figured could easily be youma. He was going to try and not get too involved, this wasn't something he wanted to mess up. Moving to his cousins side he reached out and grasped his arm.
"Stick together. Obsidian is...off his rocker, if you can't tell." He kept his voice low, a whisper for his cousin to hear and only his cousin. "I don't trust this....he does mean bloodbath. I've met him a few times and he gives the creeps." Having pulled his cousin, as the other was taller than him, down so he could whisper directly into his ear, to insure that only he heard his words. Leaning back he met his cousins blue eyes with his own. He was dead serious here. This was not good.

Jericho Cross { Broken Wheelchair FragmentShadow people
Shoving his arm against the door was not getting him, or anyone else, anywhere, except for injuring his arm. But when an item was brought forth to unlock the damn thing instead, he very willingly stepped back and tried to work out the kinks in his shoulder, rotating it with a snort.
Hearing Cass cuss though, he looked over with a bit of alarm, moving over to where she'd been standing with a frown. "What, catch yourself on something?" Looked like that might be the case, and before he could really offer to take a look at the injury, or even consider ripping up his shirt a bit to offer her a makeshift bandage... before Ilian decided to run off.
Down the hall.
Towards the shadowy figures. he snarled, storming off towards the younger teen. "Ilian, get the ******** back here!" Were they agents like he thought? Considering all the weird s**t going on, he'd wondered, but. Storming off after unknown persons while a civilian was not the best idea around.
First Ilian and Jericho went. Then Cass went. "Have you guys never seen a horror movie before?" His words were said with a bit of aw, and a bit of a sigh of reluctance as he followed. Maybe they were agents? If a General was behind everything going on, it'd make sense. But they didn't really look like agents they just looked like.... shadows?
You run the other way, just to realize you have no idea where you're going. Spinning back around, you manage to turn too fast and topple over. Whoops.
Probably should wait for Hadly to lead the way, silly!
Option Two:
You venture towards the shadows and the deeper you walk down the hall, the colder and darker it gets. You may or may not choose to call out to the shadows, but nothing responds in return. By the time you make it to where they were, there is no light - all of the emergency lights on that end of the hallway are completely darkened. If you make it as far as the door, you can push at it but will find that it won't budge. There's not enough light to look for a lock and the others are already heading in the other direction.
Making your way back to the group, a soft whisper slips into your ear of a young woman's voice as you emerge from the darkness. It's unnatural and eerie, maybe even sends a shiver up your spine.
"Stay with ussssssss......"
Doctor Hadly must have noticed the shadows as well because he immediately turns right and hastens his steps towards the opposite hallway from where the group had come.
Soon the group is entering a large room and you can vaguely make out the words above the double-door entrance. Post-Op Recovery.
There are several unmanned stretchers, each separated by curtains. The room is spacious, probably due to the lack of employees and patients. A few pieces of medical paraphernalia are scattered around.
Hadly is already making his way towards a side door, where you notice his expression changes to one of irritation as this door appears to also be locked.
He pauses, then snaps his fingers as the realization hits him.
"I think we leave a spare set of keys hidden somewhere in here - just in case purposes, of course."
He's already moving towards the stack of supplies in one of the cabinets by one of the bedsides. "It should be taped up against something, but I forgot where my assistant told me she'd slipped it. The quicker we find it, the sooner we can get the hell out of here."
Do you:
Option One
Start rummaging through the nurse's station in the corner.
Laney, who had lagged toward the back of the group apprehensively, hurried to huddle up when they found themselves dead-ended in the recovery room. Even if the Negaverse hadn't been behind this -- and they were -- being trapped in this sterile death-trap of a hospital had her heart pounding and her skin bringing up a cold sweat.
A year in a coma had left her with a strong aversion to hospitals, and her stays in them since hadn't been pleasant . . . but there was that same clean, silvery feel of Mistral's laboratories, too, the smell of cleanliness and impending death . . .
Laney didn't want to be here. She dragged her oxygen tank along like a lifeline.
General Obsidian . . . the man Titanlavenite had devoted himself to, and then lost . . . she'd never met the man. Some part of her was curious -- but some other part of her, the part that felt worn through and through with balancing the delicate personalities of so many people in her hands, had been hoping to avoid it. Assuming she lived through the end of this little Negaverse torture experiment, she supposed she was going to make his acquaintance after all.
Dr. Hardly, at least, was taking this all with a fair amount of bravery. Laney hadn't let out the possibility that he was in on this -- but since it was dark and he knew where he was going, and since everyone else was staying with him, she had little choice but to hold out hope and do her best to help him along. Dragging her oxygen tank over toward the filing cabinet, Laney began pulling open drawers and rifling through folders, hoping maybe the key would turn up somewhere, maybe filed under "Key, Spare."
He heard the voice of the woman, and a shiver ran down Ilian's spine. Okay things were getting weird, and Ilian was getting more and more annoyed because who the hell did this Obsidian guy think he was? How dare he put them at risk like this - although so far nothing seemed to be endangering them, but that didn’t mean nothing would.
He frowned over his shoulder as Jericho, Cassadega, and Cabhan all trailed behind him, also heading towards the shadowy creatures. He was a little surprised that they would, but grateful nonetheless. It was nice not being alone, even if he knew he was pulling the people he cared about into potential danger. Well, except Cabhan. He could care less about him at the moment.
“Keep on your guard. I don’t like this,” he quietly warned the two again. Plus Cabhan, he supposed. They were all smart enough to not need him to order them around, but it was mostly for his own comfort to know he wasn’t there by himself. It was a strange thing not to be alone.
“I’ll check the file cabinets. The two of you check the other areas,” he said, ignoring Cabhan, before turning to do as he said he would.
Well, it appeared as though following Ilian turned out to be a bad idea, not because of him or the decisions he had made, but rather because whatever the ******** those things were. Then, they disappeared and there was nothing left but darkness.
Okay, yeah, this was bad news bears and maybe they shouldn't have been trying to demand answers from weird shadowy things but...it hadn't been a bad idea. After all, if boss man hadn't started down the hallway, Cass would've done it herself.
And, well, at least this way they still stuck together.
Flashing Cabhan as confident of a smile as she could pull to the surface, Cass followed them all back to regroup.
"Don't worry, boss. I'm on the most guard I'll ever be." A false statement but she felt the need to tease and act like everything was normal and that it would be fine.
Sure, they were in a s**t situation, but her gut told her it was survivable and it'd never let her down before. "Got it, gonna split up for now, cool~" She saluted him and wandered off, companion in tow.

Derrick Keenan
The curse words really just kept flowing through his mind and through his mouth today didn't they? He decided that getting away from the shadowy figures would be the best idea, and luckily it seemed as though the rest of the group, or at least Dr. Hadly had the same idea. Eventually though they found themselves in the post-op area of the hospital. Seriously though, Derrick was pretty sure he knew the way out and was wondering why the heck he didn't just go and try and make it, even if there was a possibility of being killed.
Then again, one of the main horror movie cliches was the person wandering off by themselves and getting killed, so he didn't feel too brave to do that. He listened to what the doctor was saying though, and decided that the Nurse's Stateion would be the best bet.
Finding herself suddenly alone, Sidney jerked to a stop and cast about her, looking for the others. No way was she going off on her own, man… that’s how people died in horror movies, and besides, single people were so much easier for the Negaverse to pick off.
It didn’t take long, thankfully… Dr. Hadly seemed to have the same thought as her and came bustling down the hall. She let him pass and fell in behind him, heading into the post-op room.
Keys?
Sid frowned as she cast about, deciding where to look. The nurses’ station seemed the most likely. If you wanted extra keys, why wouldn’t you keep it there. Shuffling over, the DJ began to rummage through the drawers with the rest of the group.
It was more then a little unnerving when Alexandre told him that Obsidian was crazy and being truthful about causing blood to be split. "If he's so crazy, why did he make it to General?" He asked with a frown as he stuck close to his cousin. Technically he was likely the stronger of the two at the moment since neither of them could power up and he would be damned before he let more harm come to Alex if he could prevent it.
Of course that would probably be easier if they stuck with the group and he ended up turning back around to head back to the doctor only to trip over his own feet. "Ouch." He said then got up and finished heading to the group that ended up meeting with them half way anyway. Once they were in the next area and told to look around for keys he picked the first place his eyes landed on, the storage closet.
