"Oh yes, I believe my bag has filled with just as much as it could carry," Juliette nodded, shaking her bag just a little to emphasize her point. The large stick sort of went awkwardly about.
"Such a good find with a critter friend though, today seems to be a good day for that. Just earlier I found a sweet cat ~" Oh smiles all abound.

"I'm full up, too," she chimed in, trailing after Juliette in case she could be helpful in some way. Maybe carry her bag, if she wanted. Not that she said anything, but just in case. Also, the news of finding a cat was intriguing. She was rather fond if cats...but her sister was deathly allergic so that never happened. Maybe she'd be okay with racoons...? Durza seemed perfectly fine with one. Micah and Grant still seemed a bit skeptical, but like Grant said it was Durza's rations that were gonna get split.
Certainly not hers; she wasn't sharing with any animal. A child, sure; racoon? Nope.
"Cat?" she asked, catching up to and walking beside her. "What kind?"

Juliette didn't need assistance with carrying her bag just yet. It wasn't that it was too heavy, in all she just found it a little awkward at times to hold given how long the stick was. She wasn't able to carry it on her shoulder or even the crook of her arm. It was held on the bottom of the bag in front of her chest.
Her eyes did light up when someone, a sweet girl she realized, asked about her new cat. "Oh, she is precious. I think just a simple brown tabby but with a very nice fluffy tail. Very sweet," she reiterated, "came right up to me when our eyes met on my way home."

It seemed that the raccoon was coming along anyway. Micah shrugged and stuck his free hand in his pocket, falling back a little to walk behind the others. It wasn't his rations on the line, and he'd found a couple of useful things on this trip, so it wasn't a total waste of time outside.

Mel knew how it was; some people up there in years still held fast to their independence. One grandpa had even smacked her good when she tried to help him across the street a long while back. Ah, those memories seemed so far away.
"I'd love to meet her some time," she said, imagining the cutest fluffy brown tabby to cuddle in the future. Darn things were just so adorable. "What'd you name her?"

"Not as quaint as Fluffles'" if Mel would have noticed, she gestured her head towards Corven, interestingly enough, "but oh she earned her name well." Well, she had dirty paws and was found on the street. So, well....

"Adorable!" she fawned; her eyes sparkled at the thought of having a cat with such a name. She missed the gesture. "And yeah, totally better than Fluffles." That was a name her sister would give a cat, and she was 7. Mel was glad she didn't even have to ask for the story; Juliette was happy to share it without prompting so she listened carefully.
"Makes sense, and it's--again--sooo adorable! Ugh.. once we're out of this mess I'm totally getting a cat."
And she went on about her dreams of someday owning a cat until they eventually got back to Clearview.
