Igarashi lost her brother in a climbing accident at the age of 6. She still is haunted by her loss of her brother and with the help of her partner and friend Renji, a large black panther with a huge scar across his right eye, helps Igarashi get past her depression and be able to deal with her sorrow. Renji received his scar when he was younger saving Igarashi from a fallen tree and got struck in the face with a falling tree branch while trying to protect her. Her parents also died when she was 8 by a rogue ninja attack, around the same time she was paired up with Renji. Igarashi feels that Renji has taken over the role of being a parent-like companion always making sure she was well taken care of. Igarashi has had a crush on this one boy, Kazurai Yuzo Saito, he was in her class though he is only a year older then her she feels very close to him. she hopes to win his affection if her cat companion Renji would stop trying to keep the two of them apart. Igarashi gets mad at Renji and scolds him for trying to keep her from making any new friend or even a relationship. she keeps thinking of one day marrying him but she tries to keep that a secret.

Hyōton [ Ice Release ]
The act of combining wind and water chakra in order to generate water-composed ice. This method can be performed on existing bodies of water, or by manipulating the minute amount of water molecules in the air, either way, it is an impressive and powerful feat that requires only a single hand. Ice created this way lays dormant- they are not attacks on their own.
The ice created in this method is very compact, often melted only by fire and demon techniques three [3] ranks higher than them.
It should be noted, however, that the ice can still be shattered or sliced by physical forces strong enough, one [1] rank higher. Unnamed attacks cannot damage the ice.

His father was a very intelligent strategist and taught Myurai everything he knew about squad tactics. His mother taught him to be a well rounded shinobi and to make up for his weaknesses.
