RP: Solo rp - Delivering the Dragon Orbs It has been forever that he has stayed at home for so long at his home. His home was always empty, always so cold in these wall surrounding him, but now there was nothing in this elaborate home of mages for the last life was finally spent. It happened while he was away in his training, hunting dragons, and spending all of his time with Esmeralda. It was heaven being with her and now he missed her now more than ever.
His father committed suicide . . .
Cassius was the one who found him with a noose around his neck probably while all able body was at Eowyn to fight, and he was useless to be of some service. Eku was wandering around his home just before he has to go and deliver his dragon orbs. His hollowed eyes looked around in seeing that there are no memories here at all he could remember. There was nothing of his father and him as he was usually off in his own little world in mind; remembering the days before. The mage was not affected by this at all for he never had a father in his life growing up. Now, the house and everything inside of it has belonged to him. There was so many magical artifacts, tomes, tools, and priceless items that his parents have collected over the years of their trials and victories. He stood in the middle of the living room along with a man who was dressed rather well; a business man. “Are you sure you want to do this Mr. Okoro? This has been in your family for years.” By his side was Vilzun who was staring up at him and also curious of what he was doing. “Aye, sell everytin ‘ere. I be not needin’ dis home and stuff, but I be lookin’ around to see which I want later.” “Yes sir, I shall start putting your home on the market to sell.” The man gave a nod of his head and turned on his heels to leave in preparations.
It was only him and Vilzun inside of this silence. There was nothing else to do here, except for making the planning of moving and of course giving the dragon orbs to Draco. A decorative box was seen on the table full of the dragon orbs that he has collected to present in an impressive sort of way. He brought it up to his arms and he started down at the Keindred who was whining up to him. “Stay here Vilzun, I won’t be long.” “Okay . . .” Vilzun nods as he moved to the fairly large bed in the room to rest and wait as he saw his bonded mage leaving with the box tucked under his arm.
The last time he saw Draco was the war that was about to happen with the other races. There was a moment of peace between all races, but he doesn’t believe there was any sort of peace here at all here. The others were his enemies, well, only the Orderites to him seeing the scar that bore in his chest from his run into of an Orderite woman who was out to kill him. He knew where his office was located and walked through the building and stopped just before his office. The mage took in a deep breath before he knocked on his door and waited patiently. “Enter . . .” The firm voice commanded him and Eku jumped right on the task as he opened the door and entered swiftly. He knew the man hated to waste his precious time and wanted this to be quick.
The man was still intimidating ever since he first met him. Draco was sat calmly at his desk with paperwork surrounding him as well as dragon orbs that the battlers have collected. “What is it?” Draco didn’t bothered to look up as his pen flew across the paper with incredible penmanship of documents. He silently place the box on the table and opened it up to let his leader see the array of dragon orbs he has collected. It certainly made him stop with his work and looked over at the box before him in seeing the collection. His fingers gingerly touched the orbs in count and looked rather impressed through his stern expression, but the shape of his hollowed eyes looked rather pleased. “Hm . . . impressive . . .” The box was closed shut and pushed to the other side of the desk where the other orbs are collected. The silence between them was awkward as he could feel the tension from the man. “Ah . . . ‘scuse me den sir.” The mage turned on his heels to exit his office seeing that his task is now accomplished.
“Ekundayo, I have a question to ask of you . . .” The very request made the blood froze in his veins as the very man had spoken to him. He stopped in his pace and turned to meet him although his hollowed eyes are looking down, his third eye was staring up at him directly. “Your loyalty lies with the Oblivionite race, to fight for our cause in this world?” Eku was puzzled on what he was talking about and about his loyalty. Of course he is. It’s the very blood that runs through his veins and what he has been fighting for ever since he was made an apprentice. “I sacrifice me body for de Oblivionite de day I be born, sir.” It was a firm answer that he can give to him as he looked directly to his third eye and then Draco went back to his work. “Very well then, leave now.” And that’s what he did the moment he was ordered to finally leave to take care of his business before leaving home. Of course his body is for the Oblivionite race, but what Draco doesn’t know (or he hopes he doesn’t) is that his heart is for Esmeralda only and no one will ever touch that of hers.

Ekundayo Ekundayo has finally decided that Esme is the love of his life, and has promised to be with her. Courting one of a different race isn't an accepted practice around Magesc.
Reflect on how others might view the relationship and how Eku reacts to such views. Is he angered by them? Does he not care? What about his caretaker, Cassius? Does Eku feel the need to mend bridges with anyone over this news? Let us know how he deeply feels about his life and where he wishes it to go in the future. The mage was busy at his home now and sorting through the things in the rooms of what he wants to keep and what he wants to sell. He never realized just how many things his parents have had over the years and Eku hoped that they might be of some worth to the mages here in the city. It has only been a couple of days after he made his mind of selling everything and moving away, including the house, and the citizens in the city have begun to whisper rumors of the man among the mages who have fought by his side. Of course they would know about Ekundayo Okoro, it was hard not to as he stood out from the regular Oblivionite. He was leaving to move to Eowyn and maybe find a home with Esmeralda big enough for them, Vilzun and Muriel, and . . . maybe a family one day. It made him sigh at the lovely thought that he might have a family one day and he hoped to be a better father than his own.
But then, his mind returned back to the reality now as he heard a knocking on his door. “Hold on . . .” He called out as he hurried up to the door to see that it was the man he spoke of selling his home. “Ah, Costel, c’mon in!” He invited the Oblivionite as the man smiled. “Thank you Mr. Okoro. I brought you some news about your home . . .” He said as he stepped inside and saw the mess all around him of all the marvelous wonders. The business man was eager to look through and see what he could possibly sell on the side to earn a bit extra gold for himself, but he turned to see Eku with a clearing of his throat and handing him some paperwork. “Good news, your home has been sold and the family will be moving in here in about a week, but seeing how this is progressing surely you will be finished by then.” There was, a bit of sarcasm seeing just the amount of things he has to sort through. “Heheh, yeah, I be leavin’ here before den. Thank ya for everythin’ Costel.” He took the paperwork to see just how much it was sold for and the signatures down of the one who bought his home.
A stern glare was seen from Costel as he couldn’t still believe that Ekundayo is selling everything to up and move out of here. He wondered why, but he has heard some of the rumors on the streets of him. There were some people who has seen him in the battle at Eowyn and then afterwards with a Dovaa girl as they looked very close together. While Costel is a mere civilian, he is still highly loyal to Soudana much as any other Oblivionite. And so to hear and see this happening before him it does made the man curious about what is he planning. “So . . . Mr. Okoro, what are your plans after you sold all of your possessions here? If you don’t mind me asking, of course.” The slick man asked him while Eku was looking through the paperwork and set them down on the dining table so he won’t lose them and out of reach of Vilzun to eat them up. “Well, I be movin’ outta here and go to Eowyn; starin’ a new life of me own.” A dark, slender brow arched up on Costel’s face as he listened to the fact from the man. “Is that so . . . and alone?” The sudden inquiry and tone of his voice has slowly irritated him with his business being pressed far more for comfort. “Ya business be done here Costel. Thank ya for de papers and de money.” The mage turned to see him; a dark glare was seen in his hollowed eyes as he forced the dismissal to the man. Costel was angered by the treatment he was receiving, but he still left per request. “The freak . . .”
The sound of the door slammed closed echoed in his home. Eku could feel his anger rising within him as he turned around to face the dining room table. His palms pressed down against the surface in trying to relax and calm himself down. “Damn dem all . . .” He muttered passed his stitched lips as his teeth was gnawing at the red threads. He . . . and the other Oblivionites here, they all pissed him off for after all the years of them ignoring him, commenting on how annoying he is, and how much of a freak he is with threads stitched through his body. The moment that some of them knew of his courting with a Dovaa is when they decided to pay notice to him! “No matter what I be doin’, dey will always be sayin’ somethin’ of me . . .” It has always been like this since the day he was born, and now, he had enough of it. It was clear that he didn’t belong here with the others and he was different from the other Oblivionites. He is still loyal to his brethren and will fight for them when he is called for, but he wanted to live a different life. And now, he has no care anymore for them.
But, before leaving, there is still one person he should talk about his decision even though he fears for the worse of the situation. He has to meet Cassius who was like a father figure for him when his own father was not there. “Vilzun!” Eku called out for him as he grabbed his belongings together so they may pay him a little visit; which he hopes it will be a little visit. He walked out of his home and down the streets of the city to go to Cassius’ home. In his mind, he’s hoping that the man is not there and off training some other young mage apprentice. His home was a grand building of intricate gothic architect which always made Eku stood before his home just to see the details. He later felt a nudge on his side from Vilzun as he looked down to see him. “C’mon Eku . . .” The Drakein said to him in a way that the sooner they see him, the sooner they can go back to the work. The mage agreed and knocked on his door.
Moments later, the very man himself showed up at the door. Eku looked up to see Cassius as he saw the glaring third eye staring down at him far more intensely than his hollowed eyes. “. . . ah, Ekundayo . . . I suppose I would be expecting to see you today . . .” His words were cold to the young man as he stepped to one side to let him in as well as Vilzun too. The young mage followed him to where they can speak in peace as he realized that they are venturing deeper in his home to the training hall where he tutors young mages and apparently he was in his own work seeing some of his tomes lay out. “Cass . . . Cass, I have somethin’ to tell ya.” Cassius was silent with his back towards him while he picked up a tome to read through and Eku continued to speak. “I . . . I be movin’. I’m movin’ to Eowyn in a week . . . and be wit someone. My—” “Your woman in courtship?” Cassius closed his tome and turned to face Eku; tension in his hollowed eyes. It was clear to see what he thought about this of Eku leaving to be with a Dovaa woman to another continent. “Just what did you plan on doing? Start a life with this Dovaa? Have children? And then be in utter bliss of it all? Wake up you stupid boy! That is not the life for any Oblivionite here and certainly not for you.” “And why not?! Why can I be wit de woman I love?” Cassius sneered at him at the incompetent fool Eku was that he tossed the tome down to the floor and grabbed his staff firmly. “No one will ever truly love you Ekundayo. Look at yourself, you are not meant for love for you are only meant for war. That is all what your birth is meant for from your parents.”
His anger was growing by the passing second now. Cassius has no need to bring up his parents at this time and now pressing against his courtship with Esmeralda who is the only person in this mad world has given him happiness. Vilzun could feel the tension in the air which is so thick. The young Kiandri moved back from the two as he saw Cassius stepping forward to him and was about to place his hand on the mage's shoulder. "Forget about her, and fight fully for the Oblivionite race . . ." But his hand was stopped when Ekundayo lifted his scepter up and blocking it. ". . . shut up." Cassius' eyes widen at what happened. "Shut up . . . shut up! Shut up and stop tellin' me what to do!" He casts a spell of darkness and twisted the shadows on the ground to erupt upward into sharp spikes in attempt to stab his 'once' master and caretaker.
Cassius leaped back and dodge the move with such utter distraught on his face. "How . . . dare you! You think you can defeat?" A grin was seen on Eku's face as he took his battle position and made a slash at the palm of his hand to release the blood to use for his magic. "Nope, not at all." Hell no he can't beat a master and especially him, but he had no choice on the matter and cast his blood magic in creating his tree giving fruit of blood skulls. They dropped down and floated straight over to Cassius as he merely smirked at the trivial little things. "Ha! I can easily destroy these things aw- AH!!!" And just right then, Vilzun had snuck up behind him and sink his teeth in his leg; almost crunching his leg down to the bone. "YOU DAMNABLE BEAST!!!" Energy was gathered at his scepter as he aimed to obliterate Vilzun, and he was attacked by the blood skulls. They latched onto his arm to make him stop and then the rest of his body; inflicting damage inside of his body and poisoning him.
The Master mage gasped for air as he quickly fell to the ground. Vilzun moved out of the way and returned to Ekundayo's side as he diminished his magic while walking up to Cassius who is suffering now. There are no feelings for the man anymore as he deeply breathed in his chest before speaking. "I wanted ya to be a part of me life Cass . . . I was gonna say dat until ya bring up . . . me parents, and Esmy." He wanted that, or at least get his blessings. Cassius was the only father figure in his life and his only family left, but he had crossed the line and hurt him intensely. He didn't need that in his new life and he turned away. "I be fightin' along side of ya and de Oblivi . . . I'll . . . see ya later . . ." His heart felt incredibly heavy despite pushing all the weight off his shoulders. It hurt, but it had to be done once being pushed to that corner for he doesn't want to be just a machine of war. No, he wanted more than that . . . so much more.

RP: Solo rp of receiving a staff from Arick's shop, Pedder's Rock 739 -- Word Count Ekundayo’s day at home doesn’t seemed to end with all the tasks he has to do in taking care of his family. Cleaning, getting meals ready, playing with Minerva, and spending time with Vilzun and Esmeralda. And now, he is taking a break in the impressive library of their home that he wanted to have of both Esmeralda’s research and his own magic tomes which he is reading over. To think he never thought he will have such an amazing life like this when he remembered how it was in the beginning. His mother died, his father was distant in his life to the point that he had committed suicide after the battle where he and his companions took down the abomination. Eku should be feeling some remorse of not spending any time with his father, but at the same time it could happen the other way with his father, Ayotunde, can spend some sort of time. Even just staring at him would be something.
The sound of a door being knocked had brought him out of his thoughts and he shut his book closed to go get it. “Damn it, Minnie betta be sleepin’ and not up . . .” It took him a while to put her to sleep. He hurried up to the front door where he was greeted by a young Hybrid man of Orderite and Gaili Dovaa decent who was carrying a long rectangular shaped package under his arm. “Excuse me, are you . . . Ekundayo Okoro?” His brow was arched in wondering who could be asking for him. “Yeah, dat be me.” And the Hybrid then handed him the package. “Oh good! Arick was trying to find you but here go.” The mage was confused as he stared at the package in trying to think when was the last time he saw the man in shopping at his establishment. “Oi, I didn’t buy anytin’ at his shop.” But when he looked up to see him, the hybrid had already left as he was left to take it.
He walked back inside and took the package back into the library where he sat down at his desk and began to open it up. Inside was a rather impressive looking wooden carved staff with a stone embedded on top. What caught his sight next was the note that lay on top of it. The mage plucked the paper up and opened it to see what the note left was for him. His breath hitched in his throat in utter surprise at the handwriting for he knew who owned the exquisite penmanship of the tomes he owns. . . his father.Ayotunde “. . . I don’t know what to say, but, the first that came to mind is that I am sorry, my son. I am sorry, for what your mother and I have done. I am sorry, for being drowned in my sorrows instead of raising you. And I am sorry . . . for not being your father. I wish I was, but I could not stand for how weak I have become after losing your mother. But know this, I was always notified about you from Cassius; both the good and the bad by what he claims which includes this Dovaa girl you’ve been seeing. It made me amuse on how you reminded me so much of myself, especially when it comes to women. And I wanted to say to you, what I could have never said before, is that I am so proud of you Ekundayo. You will grow up into a fine, strong mage. And I want to wish you, and give you, all the luck for your future. I love you, my son. - Your Father, Ayotunde” “Damn him . . .” His voice cracked from the tears and sadness that he held in after so many years now. The pain of feeling that he is a terrible accident and hated was all lifted away with only remorse now, finally. Of all the years he wished he should have try to talk to him and he is now regretting it all. But what he must do now, is to treasure the staff his father gave him and his last words and try to live on as a fine, strong mage he asked of him. It’s all that he can do after he has cried all his sorrows out.
