The place was starting to look good, they’d finished most of the repairs by now and their furniture had finally arrived. It left the house in a huge mess, but at least they’d be able to take acre of one room at a time and put things away before moving on to the next etcetera. It was a dreary day that day, rain pouring down on them hard but at least they’d gotten to the roof first as to not ruin their books and it looked like it was going to hold. Esme was in the living room, on the floor on their rug watching the flames in the fireplace. “Ekundayo, you should come join me.” She called to him.
