Tyshina turned quickly to face the person whose voice she had heard. At first she thought she was dreaming, that was until she saw the hand. "Oh hi there," she said as she extended her own left hand. She looked at the person whom she had held her hand out too. This new person had hair the same color as her own just in a shorter style and they were a male. "I wonder what they are," she whispered under her breath very quietly trying not to stare at him.

The only thing was she could not get her eyes to move from him. There was something about him that made her wonder what he might be doing here. He was Her eyes hardly ever left his face until she was able to shake her eyes out of there gaze. "Well it's wonderful to meet you Sparrow Heartreed! I'm Tyshina, though you can just call me Ty if you' d like," she said very cheerfully. She stood there waiting, and as she did she could feel her worries slowly fading away. Maybe this sudden adventure wouldn't be to bad after all.

"Hey Sparrow. I remember you." Vaith grinned at the formal-attired reaper, turning around to see who Sparrow as looking at. He spotted Clyde.

"Hey there." Vaith decided to approach a newcomer, since he was going to be dorming with them and all. Whether they turned out to be friends or enemies on the first day, that was the real question.

All of a sudden, the little group that had amassed was not so little any more. In the clamor of words and greetings, she tried to catch what she could and respond in turn. How did Mort do this?!

First she addressed the rat-boil, Rafael. She hadn't seen him fleetingly before, so she assumed that he was a student from another school. Poor boil, he probably had no idea what to expect... "I love science! It's my favorite subject by a long shot. I'm excited." Nerdy? Just a little bit. He turned to speak to Zurine and she gave a little sigh. Her name? Assured. Her outlook on the field trip, though... had she ever been on one before? Poor thing... it was best to not worry the rat-boil with the truth, either way. Her attention turned to...Aka? Ak-something. "Well, uh..." she turned deeper red. She'd kind of doomed herself there, hadn't she? "I like... reading. and cooking! I love cooking. I'm not the greatest fighter..." She'd remember this boil. Maybe he would be willing to help train her.

The ghoul caught a greeting from Malodore... in a different language, it seemed, and offered a smile. To Mort she could only shrug. Who knew what they would be learning, or who would be teaching them? She turned then to the clansman that had addressed them and grinned and pointed excitedly.

"Looks like we should head out!"

Rafe's cheeks colored slightly at the suggestion that his name was "strong." He was a lot of things, but he'd never been accused of being strong before. In fact, that was one of the reasons why he was trying to go to school -- so that he wouldn't get beaten up all the time by his stronger clan members.

"I...yeah, I don't know much about science either," he admitted, glad to hear that others were in the same boat as him. He glanced up at Aksaja. He didn't know what a hob was, but it sounded important. He made a mental note to find out later. "But, um, I guess that's why we're here, right?"

At the announcement that it was time to head out, he shoved his hands once more into his pockets and followed the crowd to see where to go next.

[Rafael is exiting]

"Ah," said Sparrow, and smiled again, shaking the ghoul's hand pleasantly before slipping his away, tucking his own against the small of his back. He rocked on his heels and glanced around at the caverns briefly, taking in the setting once more before he looked back at her.

"A pleasure, Tyshina," he said jovially. "And thank you, I will keep that in mind. How are you liking the trip so far? Are you from Amityville, or from one of the other schools?"

But the attendant was speaking again, her voice low and gravely, and Sparrow's gaze followed the direction of her hand, tracing over the archways that led to their dorms. He gave a nod, then looked back at Tyshina, Vaith, and the boil that Vaith was speaking to.

"Shall we go, then?" Sparrow asked brightly, gesturing to the archways. "I should very much like to see where we all shall be living for the next little while, wouldn't you?"

Mandy found herself liking the Famine clan already, short and to the point instructions where just what she liked. Orginally, like a many, she'd planned to sign up for Conquest for of the heirs she knew him and his ways bests and the class had sounded interesting but... she didn't exactly relish the thought if hanging around somewhere she knew blackholes could appear any time.

So, she went with broadening her horizons instead and well Alchemy was definatly out of her usual preview. Monsters weren't that magical and Mandy was not that sciency, she left that up to people like Barth. She was a doer not a thinker or however the hell that went.

Although, she thought as she stretched from her place slumped at the edge of the mingling crowd of students, it would have been nice to know more people here. She vaguely knew Aksaja and Doc was already being swarmed by other people which left her without any decent conversation. She could always try to get to know the others but eh, socializing outside of her circle wasn't her thing.

Whatever, she thought she heard someone suggesting they check out the accommodation and that sounded like a smart idea and if the crowd happened to be going that way as well it was completely coincidental.

Finally, Arynek decided to go to her favourite part first, the alchemy on her own.

Tyshina slightly nodded her head and followed this new fellow Sparrow. She hoped he knew where they were to go since she had only heard a few of the things the attendant said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well and I have actually just started school at Amityville a couple of days ago," she said a little shyly to Sparrow as she continued quickly with her words, "Though your right we should go. We will have plenty of time to get to know each other once we get to where ever we are to go next." With that she walked calmly but excitedly after the group. Her next destination was the dorms and it looked like maybe just maybe she could get through this. Plus who knows maybe after all of this she could even walk out with a few new friends or allies.
