The students are led to a massive cavern, to the sides of the area hide bedrolls, ornate cushions, and woven blankets are stacked neatly. Rather than individuals rooms, the students will be sharing one large communal chamber. The stone floor is neatly swept, and the walls decorated with small ornaments and dried bouquets of of various plants and flowers.
Rather than fire or electricity, the room is lit by odd glass globes. Their content and colour vary, some holding glowing plants and flowers suspended in liquid, while others contain odd mosses that provide a weak but soothing light. Still others are open, containing pollen and worms, that house glowing larvae and grown fireflies freely darting in and out. Around the lights, the soft fluttering of moth wings sound throughout the night and day.
The chamber smells of dried plants and rich oils. As far as places to sleep went, the guest chamber of Famine was a fairly soothing place to rest. OOC - All students can rp in the dormitories/ choose to mingle with each other here at any point of the day though they should keep it quiet. - They can talk to anyone who is IN this dorm area, here. If you are entering from another ORP, your student must post an ENTER post so we know. When they are existing, please post an EXIT post. - Students can also ICLY communicate with anyone else not in this Isle using either their own, or provided skellyphones. There is only reception in the dorms. They can only send texts. - OOC: If you want to send a text to someone, simple quote them while rping IN THIS THREAD so they know that they're receiving a text from you. You can reply with reactions from others as well, as necessary, in this thread.

((Malodore is entering~))The plague doctor opened its beak in a smile as it entered the dormitory chamber, please with its successful navigation of the tunnels. It felt that stumbling into random areas and interrupting Horsemen in their work would not be well received, so it was a relief and a small point of pride to have found its destination without having to bother any of the Clan. It inhaled, solely to scent the air - ahhh, so calming, and yet exciting at the same time. The sent of herbs and other plants... how it hoped the Clan practiced herbal medicines and tinctures! That was an aspect of medicine that it dearly wanted to learn more about. The insects were interesting as well, though it rather hoped they weren't the sort that liked to try and gnaw at the undead like common corpses. The fireflies were lovely, though, as were the high-up flutterings of moths. All in all, a fascinating place. It was glad it had chosen this Clan. Malodore selected a bedroll, a cushion, and a blanket, then set up a little bed for itself against one wall. It did not require sleep, and with all it wanted to do it was rather determined not to take needless rest unless the pretense was culturally required. Still, having a 'home', as such, would be welcome. It laid out the bedroll and draped the blanket over it, admiring the delicacy of the weave, and was that silk and spider-webbing worked into the fabric? Fascinating... It sat down and pulled out its phone, smiling to itself as it realized the device had reception here. Va bene... Nio Love Mia cara, are you enjoying yourself? I am - there are not many I know well here, but making new alliances is never a bad thing. Still, my focus shall be study, and what I have seen thus far intrigues me. It sent the text, then leaned back, reaching up one hand to lightly tap at the globe just above its bedroll. There was a glowing larva of some kind resting inside of it, the top open for air and possibly food. Truly delightful.

[ aleria is entering ]
Aleria burst into the cavern excitedly, their boots clacking against the cave's floor as they inspected their new living situation. Dozens of sleeping beds and cushions littered the room, intrigued to see that there would be no rooms, only communal space.
The demon crooned, dropping their bags by a bedroll close to the wall, clawed fingertips running over the flowers. "Beautiful." It was a pity they were dead, but even beyond the veil, the plants brought a certain charm to the room. As did the lighting, by Jack.
A dark cavern with bugs and plants-- really. Aleria could not have felt more at home. Aymet and Shenny had lagged behind, seeing as Aleria had been so excited they'd chosen to practically sprint ahead of them.
The student in red was there, so the demon decided it was high time to introduce themselves to the Plague Doctor.
"Greetings! Are you fond of the communal quarters as I am?" They sighed giddily, peering up at a glowing plant, its soft blue light reflecting against pale skin. "I do not think I could have made a better choice for my initial clan."

Malodore looked up from its phone, beak opening in a smile - this was an unfamiliar face, but her delight in their surroundings was as evident as its own. " Si, indeed - such a fascinating enclave!" It bobbed its head at her. "My name is Malodore; I do not believe we have met? There do not seem to be as many students here as I had initially thought. It may be that we are an erudite few." Its phone buzzed in its claws. "Pardon," it said, then looked down. Then it smiled again and typed out a reply. Nio Love I am glad you are happy, mia cara. I am most delighted with my surroundings as well. And I am afraid I cannot think of you often, for I already think of you constantly. It could think about Riley and Science at the same time, right? It sent the text, then looked up at the demoness again. "Are you interested in exploring, perhaps? The tunnels seem potentially complex, but I would like to pursue some of the additional activities our hosts have made available to us."

[ Mandy is entering] Mandy looked around the cavernous room that was to house them and felt conflicted about it. The beds looked warm and soft, the smell reminded her vaguely of her home forest - the insects even more and for once the lighting wasn't too harsh on her eyes. Amity sometimes made her forget what is was like to be a nocturnal creature. But... it was communal. She'd never done communal and whilst not shy about herself or anything it would be nice to have somewhere private when everyone else got too obnoxious. Worst than that though was the fact it was completely underground. That negated any feeling of the forest it may have given her. Sure she'd known she'd have to sleep on the ground instead of the ground instead of her usual hammock, she'd had to do that before, but when they'd arrived underground she'd expected to go up. All that earth above her made her feel claustrophobic. Oh well, not much she could do now and she did not want to piss off her hosts by complaining. It was only for a week anyway and they couldn't keep them below ground the whole time right? Right? Mandy twitched slightly before going over to one of the bed material piles and placing her bag next to it, effectively claiming it as hers. That done she headed over to the now less crowded Plague Doctor, waving in greeting as she did. "'Lo Doc. Good to see you again." Her eyes flickered briefly to the other student but as she didn't know them she didn't bother addressing them more than that.

"Ah - Mandy, yes?" Malodore had to think for a moment. It had been some time since the Island... "It is good to see you again, signorina. Are you also intending to venture out and take in the sights? I hear there are some alchemical distilleries that I intend to view first..." It turned back to look at the demoness as well. Perhaps she would be interested in following also? It would go alone if need be, of course, but company might be nice.

Aleria clapped as Malodore spoke, intrigued and fascinated all at once to see his beak move. "I do not believe so! I am a recent addition to the roster of Amityville, and I admit, I have spent more time in its library than anywhere else." As the Plague Doctor's phone buzzed, Aleria politely bowed, waiting. They stared as it tapped away as a message, wishing to inspect their claws. "Exploration is an option that I would enjoy pursuing," the demon said excitably, turning to the newcomer, waving as well. "I desire to see the training exercises that the Famine Clan has set forth for us, but am willing to acquiesce to any other decision-- the company would be amiable."

The only distilleries Mandy really knew about in general where for Alcohol so it wouldn't be bad to check out the differences, they where here to learn after all, and the training grounds would be her usual place to check out. But ah... "I was hoping to see if I could find a way up top and check it out but there's plenty of time to burn at the moment so we could always do all three." Besides, it wasn't like she knew where she was going anyway so they might not find any of them.

" Va bene," Malodore said, pleased. "Shall we proceed, then?" It stood up and tucked its phone away with a pat, heading towards the door. Its hooves clopped against the stone floor as it departed. (( PRP thread? :O)) ((Malodore exit~))

After the poison/ antidote crafting, Arynek was quite tired. She just found a place to sit down, closed her eyes to take a rest. There seemed nobody in the dorm.

Shenny's entering
Shenny found herself in... well, it would be safe to assume it's a large cavern. Two major facts made her "Bloody Mary!"-ing for a few moments: first, the place was communal. Of course, she didn't expect horsemen to gave everyone a cosy apartment, but a communal cavern?.. And there was the second fact: it was yet, another cavern, and the air was quite muggish inside. She almost got used to it already, but still, it was a bit bothering. Probably, she will be exploring the island more often than she thought.

[Rafael is entering]
He was a little disappointed in his performance during the first class. It wasn't necessarily that he had failed -- he hadn't actually expected to do well, anyway -- it was that he didn't know why he had failed. Cymbeline certainly hadn't been any help. He wasn't even entirely sure what the point of the whole thing had been; her insane babble had pretty much gone entirely over his head.
Still, Mort hadn't done well either, and that made him feel better. Besides, there was always tomorrow.
Stifling a yawn with the back of one hand, the small-statured rat-boil made his way toward the dormitories. He was too wired to sleep, but maybe he would be able to relax a little and unwind.
As he entered, he was delighted to realize that not only were the quarters underground, they were communal! He hadn't been sure what to expect, since he'd come to learn that most creatures were accustomed to sleeping in their own beds and in private rooms. That he'd be able to bunk with all of his new friends made him feel extremely comforted.
Although he probably wouldn't be cuddling up with a big pile of students in one bed, at least they'd be nearby if he needed something. He wasn't sure he'd be able to sleep all by himself for his first night away from home.
Glancing around uncertainly, he made his way toward a corner and set up his own bed-roll. He settled down on it, propping himself up with a pillow, and peered around the room for a moment in wide-eyed, 'I can't believe this is really happening" awe, then drew his somewhat-mangled book from his pocket.
Maybe he'd read until he got sleepy....then he could wake up early and do some exploring before class...
