I thought Shiva in ff10 was stunning. Very neat concept.
I appreciated but never actually used Choco/Mog in ff7.

I dont know many summons because I have only played FFX and III and I am only at the begining of III, but my favorite is Bahumat, stinkin awsome. His Overdrive was spectacular in X. Least favorite is Valefore in X. By the way whos Yojimbo? I am at Mt Gazet in X so I have no idead who any but Valefore, INfrit, Ixxion, Shieva, and Bahumat are. Please tell me who Yojimbo and the Magus Sisters are.

I forget how to gain each of them, it's been a while, but both are wickedly powerful, Yojimbo is especially worth having, but you'll need an abundance of Gil to earn his Zanmato attack, which is an instant-kill technique akin to Odin's Zantetsuken.

Oh, and before I forget, I had no dislikes among Summons/GF's/Eidolons/Aeons, but I had a tough time figuring out my favorite, so I narrowed it to 5, 1 being top..
1. Doomtrain (FF cool : Okay, so you've got a GF that looks like something out of an Ozzy Osbourne (or AC/DC, whichever, lol) video, Boost-able in its overall power, and it can dish-out enough Status Ailments to make a Malboro flinch? It's hard to get it though.. 6 Remedy+ (Med-Lv Up 60 Remedies), 6 Steel Pipes (not so hard, Card Mod 6 Elastoid Cards), and 6 Malboro Tentacles (Okay, I went the wussy route and Card Modded Malboro Cards..) plus the Solomon Ring.. But by Odin's nonexistant beard, it was worth it!
2. Alexander (various, especially FF cool : FF8's version was just amazing.. It had the most useful Abilities (tied with Tonberry on that front), and it looked like something out of a Gundam anime.. I mean, how could a giant Mech walking at a turtle's pace up to the mountains and then popping its shoulder-cannon ports open to nukity-smite the bejeezus out of the enemy not be awesome? "Don't follow the lights! Or Hobbitses go down to light little.." *chime* "WHAT THE FU-" *BOOOOOOOM!!*
3. Diablos (FF cool : Okay, too many FF8's, but for the love of Ham Sammich, he's just too freaking awesome.. The fight to get him was a royal pain, especially if you impatiently tried fighting him right after you got the Lamp, but he comes out of a giant bat-bubble, charges said bubble, sends it down to deliver a Demi that's beyond-cool to watch, and does a flip to explode into the bats once more.. Up yours sideways times ten with a Totem Pole Criss Angel!
4. Bahamut (FF10): Let's just say it.. Broken. A super-powerful basic attack in Impulse, and his version of Mega Flare puts all others to shame.. I really can't think of anything else to say, it speaks for itself XD
5. Golem (FF5/Advance): I say it again.. Broken. It creates a Wall-style effect which completely absorbs all Physical Damage your Party takes, not always though, but over 70% of the time.. Combine that with Carbuncle's Reflect-casting power, and a Shield or Elven Mantle equipment item, and your Party is as close to invincible as it can get. I mean come on, you've got a 100% chance to take no Physical Damage any which way, you've got full-party Reflect keeping Spells off you, could Bartz and crew get any more beefcake?

My favorite summon by far is Madeen (Eiko's Eidolon). That is one mean, bad-assed looking mega moogle, and the attack is just stunning to watch.
My least favorite is Arc (Garnet's summon). Admittedly, it does look cool, however it takes WAY too long (which can only be a good thing if you really need auto-regen to bring your party back from the brink while damaging the boss). Also, it doesn't do as much damage as Madeen.

Lil kupo-kun Fav: Bahamut/Alexander Least fav: Shiva sisters. (shiva is suppose to be an un-clothed ice goddess..not a transformer...) My brother came in while I was in a cutscene with snow riding the motercycle and he watched for a second then said "is that gangster 'riding' an android version of shiva. . . It just looks so wrong" needless to say I will never look at the shiva sisters the same again.

Oh lord favorite summon. . . 1. I have to give Bahamut from final fantasy top because he has to be the most consecutively awesome summon from final fantasy ever. He isen't awful ever except in the looks department in X. I really can't explain it, but he just seemed too bulky in that game especially after the totally awesome looking final fantasy IX version of him has the coolest cut-scenes and looks ever. 2. Doomtrain. . . it is a train that drop kicks a marlbro's pride on the way to destroy the enemy. I don't see why I couldn't give him second or why they never brought him back. 3. Alexander in final fantasy VIII. He is a giant mech that nukes your enemies. What the heck is not to love?!
Least favorite has to go to Yojimbo. . . what does an Aeon need money for, the mall? He does minimal damage for my whole freaking wallet. . . Honestly I summon him as an over-glorified shield because that is his his only free use.

Another of my favorite Summons is from FF5 Advance, it's pretty well hidden in Galuf's World (World 2) since you can easily miss finding it..
Catoblepas, the Doomtrain of the classic world, it's often underestimated but broken like it should be over-rated XD

I have 2 favorites: Knights of the Round and Bahamut Zero from FFVII because they had both extremely strong and cool looking attacks. My least favorite is Choco/Mog from FFVII because their attack was kind of dumb.

I dont't know...My favourite was probably Bahamut FF8...It should have Tiamat's look and color though and MegaFlare is DAMN STRONG...If junctioned right. Least Favourite has to be Asura FF4, It just does a healing or damage attack. I can just cast a Curaga and Meteor and have a total of:3000Hp healed and 4500 damage dealt.
I did like Alexander in FF13...His Divine Judgement performs damage plus the enemies weakness element!!!

Please tell me who Yojimbo and the Magus Sisters are. Yojimbo and the magus are secret aeons. Yojimbo is located in the calm lands under the bridge. You finish the cave and you have to defeat him. While the Magus sisters are also in the calm lands. You have to get a chocobo and go to the beginning of the calm lands. Like the where you enter them, where you left macalania woods. You get the chocobo the edge of the far right you'll see a chocobo feather. Use the chocobo to jump to the secret path and complete the temple and you'll get the magus sister smile

The reason I can't stand Shiva from FF13 isn't because they turn into a motorbike, but because there are 2 of them. Shiva is an Ice Goddess, not twins. Also they turn into a motorbike.

What? You don't like Goblin? Although to be fair, unless you were fighting other Goblins which, let's be honest are pretty weak, it was a fairly useless summon. Yeah, I don't like Goblin much either.
