BAMBI
T H E Y D O W H A T?!

"Girls?" Xai called out as she opened the front door, her arms laden with bags and a box that were set down on the floor so she could close the door again. Hmm? No answer? "Girls? Tyyne? Evari?" Why was no one answering? Strange! She picked up her things again when the door was closed and wandered further into the house, leaving the box and bags on the kitchen table. First thing she did was open the fridge and look around, making a slight face when she found what she was looking for. Nutter was sleeping in the butter again. Sigh. Well, now that she knew what food he'd decided to ruin this time she could continue on with the rest of her search through the house for her apparently missing girls. Were they not home? But usually Tyyne didn't leave until telling Xai! The first bedroom she passed belonged to Evari and so she quietly opened the door, peeking in to find her curled up with her pillow and sleeping. Odd...she'd been acting so strange lately. She closed the door and checked Tyyne's room. Tyyne wasn't in there! What was with her girls acting so strangely? Hmm...oh! She knew where she could be! Haha, right. That garden she was making. Chuckling to herself, Xai headed for the back door and stepped outside again. Ah, yes. There she was. Tyyne was watering the irises she had grown around the tree. How cute. She was humming softly to herself as she moved about the flowers, suddenly perking up with her ears lifted high when she heard footsteps.

"Oh. Hello, Mommy~! Did your errand go well?" Tyyne asked with a smile as she stopped watering to walk toward Xai, putting the can down to hold her arms out for a hug which Xai readily gave. She bent down and gave the little deer girl an affectionate squeeze before letting her go and standing up straight again, petting her blonde hair and smiling down at her.

"Yes it did! I got some movies too. I think you might like one of them!" Tyyne looked curious now, tilting her head and blinking. A movie she would like? Really? Yay! Evari was always making her watch movies Evari liked, and Evari liked some weird movies. Some of them were scary too! It was awful!

"What movie? Is it a nice one?" Xai nodded and brought the girl inside and to the kitchen, opening the box and taking out a few DVD cases. Ah! Here it was! She held it up for Tyyne to see and the little blonde deer gasped, reaching out to take it and get a better look. The middle of it read 'Bambi' and it surrounded by an assortment of adorable forest creatures, but the one that really god her attention was the deer with the butterfly on its nose. It...it was a movie about a deer? Tyyne looked up at Xai with pure awe written all over her face, hugging the DVD case to her chest. "Can we watch it? Please, please, please? Please, Mommy?" It was about a deer! She wanted to see it! It looked so cute! Xai laughed and nodded. Tyyne hurried to the living room after that and poked at the wall a few times. How...did she do this again? She couldn't remember how to make it open up. Er...this? Gah! She turned the TV on! But where was the DVD slot? Gaaaaah this was hard! Xai had followed Tyyne to the wall and watched her, chuckling and putting a hand on her shoulder as she leaned over and guided the girl's hand where it needed to go. Tyyne blushed and smiled up at her mother. "Thank you."

The DVD slot finally opened and Tyyne carefully put the disc inside, putting aside the case and hurrying up onto the couch. Xai eagerly joined her, also curious what this movie was about. It was a children's movie but she still wanted to see it! It started out very sweetly, and all the happy forest creatures were gathered around the newborn baby deer. And then they were trying to teach him how to walk properly. How adorable! Tyyne was thoroughly enjoying the movie, giggling and laughing and honestly able to relate to some of the issues. She'd never experienced winter but if Bambi couldn't do it? She definitely couldn't walk on ice! But it looked so fun! Darn. This was quickly becoming her favorite movie though. This was more her speed, not wild and crazy things that her sister liked. Nope. Sweet adorable animals in the forest and--WHAT?! Tyyne froze stiff when Bambi's mother told him to run and they began to hear gunshots, clinging to Xai's dress and just staring at the screen in horror. The last gunshot made her gasp, her eyes wide as saucers as she watched Bambi hide...and his mother didn't follow. Wh-where did his mother go?! Bambi called out for his mother over and over until the Great Deer of the Forest approached him telling him his mother wouldn't be back. Tears welled up in Tyyne's eyes and she whimpered, hiding her face in the sleeve of Xai's dress. Xai was also very shocked by this turn of events, whispering softly to the girl and petting her hair while watching the movie for a more cheerful part. Which thankfully came up right away!

"It's okay, Tyyne. Look, see? Everyone is singing and happy again. Shhh, it's okay." Xai comforted her and smiled for Tyyne, gently nudging her face to look at the screen again. Tyyne whimpered and reluctantly opened her eyes to see the birds singing, even the owl was there but he looked rather cranky. They were...twitterpated? That was a funny word. Whoa! That was Bambi?! And...and Faline? Wow! She was so pretty! She looked back at her own spotted backside, noticing that neither Bambi nor Faline had spots anymore. Would hers go away too?

She was beginning to get into the movie again when the hunters returned. This time she couldn't watch, hiding her face against Xai's shoulder with a whimper. Xai sighed and held her, waiting for this part to be over. It didn't take too long and eventually they were able to watch the happy ending together. Tyyne was still fairly upset though. People...hunted deer? They killed deer?! But...but what about her?! Was she in danger?! Why would someone want to hurt a deer? It didn't make any sense! "I'm sorry, Tyyne. I had no idea--"

"No...it's okay. I liked it! Even...though there were mean hunters. It was fun! Thank you, Mommy." Tyyne smiled despite how upset she was about this new revelation.

BOOKWORM...ER...DEER?
L E T ' S L E A R N A B O U T F L O W E R S

It had been a busy few days. Xai had gotten sick, so she and Evari had been taking care of her and themselves. It was a lot more work than they thought and it was especially hard because they couldn't read Ursontaean! At least she was starting to get better now, she could give coherent thoughts again and she was sitting up without looking ready to drop, and she could finally eat more than just soup. On top of all that she awoke that morning to find her sister was...well...a lot older than when they had gone to bed the night before. Talk about a growth spurt! They had spent the morning going over their game plan; Evari desperately needed new clothes, she offered to let Tyyne keep some of her stuff since there was no way it would fit her anymore but the gentle deer politely declined saying none of it really suited her but that perhaps she could sell it and have more money to spend on clothes and things. The suggestion worked! After fumbling through breakfast, they were getting the hang of what was what in the kitchen, getting ready for their day and taking care of Xai for the morning, Evari and Tyyne had spent a few hours collecting all of Evari's old clothes that definitely wouldn't fit her anymore and packing them away into bags. There were a lot of clothes! All Tyyne could wear was shirts, but Evari had just about everything! Wow! They managed to get everything into bags, having sorted them into shirts, skirts, pants, leggings and tights and socks, shoes and certain accessories that wouldn't fit. But Tyyne didn't really want to spend the day shopping, a glanced toward the back yard with her growing garden told her what she wanted to do...but she wanted a larger variety in her garden. It was a garden for her sister, it needed to be amazing. But where could she find more flowers? The flower shop, certainly, but hm...maybe the library would have books on flowers and how to take care of them.

So Evari had agreed to walk Tyyne to the library and then she would go to the mall for a few hours, then she'd meet up at the library again and pick her up before the library was closed. The two had walked to the library with the bags of clothes in tow; Evari actually gave her a hug before she left and everything! She'd never been to a library before, this was sure to be interesting. Tyyne walked in unsure of what to expect and found it was very clean...and quiet. Ooh! Nice! Well, she was excited now! Finally, a quiet place to read with no chance of Nutter coming in to bother her or Evari coming in to ruin her peace. But now she had no idea where to go, so she walked up to a desk with an elderly woman sitting behind it looking over a computer screen and typing things. Oh...was she working? Maybe she shouldn't interrupt her. Upon further observation though it seemed the woman wasn't actually working but was instead on some kind of forum discussing...anime? Weird...okay. "Um...excuse me?" Tyyne called out softly to the librarian who jumped and minimized the window, looking down at the little blonde girl with antlers.

"Yes? How can I help you, dear?" The woman asked kindly, folding her hands on the desk and leaning closer to the girl. Tyyne looked around for a moment and then back up at the librarian.

"Do you have books about taking care of flowers? And books about flowers?" She needed to know for her garden! Were some flowers bad? Were some hard to take care of? Did some kill other flowers? She had to know! The woman hummed thoughtfully and turned to her computer again to open up a page that was actually the library's catalogue, doing a quick search for her. Ah, yes. They had plenty of books on that subject!

"Here, I'll write it down for you. You're just going to go a little further in and to the section for non-fiction. It's the fourth aisle in." The woman told her with a gentle smile, writing down her directions and even drawing the girl a little map. Tyyne smiled and nodded her head.

"Thank you very much!" She chirped, the woman nodded and watched her walk away, looking a bit surprised to see the rest of her body was a deer's body. Huh...alright then! She'd seen stranger. This was Gaia, after all. Tyyne was thankful for the directions and the map, glad to find that the books were within her reach! Yay! There were so many she couldn't really carry them anywhere all on her own, so she settled on just sitting on the floor with them. So many books, so many flowers. She read in the peaceful quiet for a few hours, but then before she knew it Evari was suddenly standing beside her giggling and shaking her gently. Gah! When did she get here?! "E-Evari?"

"C'mon, deerbutt. Time to go home. You fell asleep...flowers, huh? Wanna check these out?" Tyyne blinked. She fell asleep? Really? She looked down at the books and nodded, a bit disappointed in herself for falling asleep. They'd been so busy taking care of the house she must have been more tired than she thought. Evari helped her up onto her feet and gathered up the books, holding them and her bags of new clothes with a bit of a grunt. Oof, these were heavy. "C'mon, we gotta get home and get some dinner." Tyyne nodded and picked up a couple books Evari had missed, following her to the desk. The woman was still there and hurried to get them checked out and out the door. The library was supposed to be closed! But she'd had to keep it open to wait for that girl to go collect her little sister. The sisters went straight home after that, ordering...yet another pizza when it appeared that this thing by the sink was not the stove. Okay, fine! They couldn't cook even with Evari able to reach over the counters! Lame. After dinner Tyyne went straight to her room leaving Evari to take care of Xai for the night. She spent the rest of the night studying until she fell asleep...again. Her face in a book and with more books scattered all around her. Evari came in and checked on her on her way to bed, chuckling and draping a blanket over her sleeping sister. What a nerd, so obsessed with her garden.

DEAR DIARY
S O M E S T U F F H A P P E N E D

Dear Diary,

It's been really busy these past few days! Xai got really sick for awhile, she couldn't even sit up without getting dizzy and falling back down! But me and Evari took care of her. It was...kind of hard. We're only kids...or we WERE only kids. Evari isn't a kid anymore. She woke up the other morning and...she's a lot bigger than she was the day before that. She grew up! Or something. She looks a lot closer to Mommy's age now, still younger, but closer. With her so much bigger now things have gotten easier because she can reach things that I can't or that we couldn't reach before. And she can use things we couldn't use before. Not that we still can...we have yet to figure out what to cook on. We've found the sink, the garbage thing...but not the stove or the oven. We don't know how to use any of the things in the house, or how to read any of the funny words, or what anything is because it's all from Mommy's planet. This must be why she never asks us to really do any chores or anything, because she has to teach us just how to do the simple things like turning on the lights or working things like the television. We live in a strange house. But I think Evari told me it isn't really a house? It's...a space ship from Mommy's home planet that she merely converted to be compatible as a house? Or something. I don't really understand. But Xai's getting better! So soon we won't have to do all this anymore, and then maybe we can ask her to teach us what is what and how to read these words. The symbols really are weird!

I've been working on my garden when I have the time. It's for Evari so I really want it to be perfect! Because she really doesn't like things when they're not just right, I've seen her when she's unhappy...it's scary. Especially when she isn't getting her way. She let me go to the library yesterday while she shopped for clothes that would fit her, but I kind of fell asleep before I really got to read any of the books. But she helped me check them out so I could bring them home! I have to return them soon but that's okay. Did you know there're different meanings for flowers? Some can mean bad things and a lot mean happy things, but most mean things for friendship or love. I think it's weird that a flower can mean something bad or sad. Why would someone give a flower like that? I always thought flowers were just pretty, but they actually mean things. I should look and see what the flowers Evari gave to me mean...I think I'll do that now! Ummm...she gave me irises, red, yellow and white jasmine, gardenias and pink lilacs. Irises mean "Faith, Wisdom, Valor, Your Friendship means so much to me" Um...maybe she just got them because they're pretty? I don't think the last one was what she meant. Jasmine has a different meaning depending on the color too! Like the red is um...folly and glee? I don't know what folly means. White is amiability and cheerfulness. I think I need to look up what these words mean...yellow is right though? Timidity and modesty. I just looked those up, those sound like me. Gardenias mean "I love you in secret" but I don't think that's why she picked them. And pink lilacs are youth and acceptance. I think she only picked them because they were pretty, these flowers have a lot of very different meanings that don't all suit me, I think. But that's okay because she said she was going to get me pretty flowers and she did it.

She's really been surprising me lately. She's so much nicer than she thinks she is. Can we keep getting along like this? I hope so. Evari's getting older, so maybe she's getting nicer? I am a little jealous, she gets to grow up but I'm still a little kid. She is older than me though...I'm sure I'll grow when I'm ready? She had me so scared the night she got sick! I thought I was going to have to take care of the whole house myself. I can't do that! I need my sister. And I need my mommy. I don't like feeling like this, it's not a nice feeling. I'll just have to try and be as happy as I can. Mommy will get better, and Evari can help out better now...she's really changed! Maybe I can change too? I give in too easy. She makes me do things I don't want to do. That's bad, right? Making people do things?

At least this garden is something I want to do. She doesn't even know it's for her...but she likes it! She says it's really pretty and I should keep it up, because it looks like it makes me really happy to do this. And it does make me happy, I get to grow and take care of things that depend on me. And they're very lovely! I'm going to see if I can grow more than just flowers. Can I grow trees, too? I should try that somewhere else. Our yard doesn't have room for trees.

Um...it's getting late, so I'm going to stop here. I should go to bed too before Evari comes in and gets made because I'm still awake. She's been making sure I go to bed and stuff because Xai can't. It's okay, she's just being...responsible? That's good! So um...yes. Good night!

AUGH!
H E ' S S O M E A N

Tyyne ran and ran all the way home, wanting to be nowhere near that boy or the forest. The beach wasn't safe and now even rivers weren't safe?! What was next? Lakes? Ponds? Puddles?! It was like he was just everywhere that water collected! It was terrifying! And if she wanted to avoid giving him a kiss 'next time' well...she'd just...she'd just make sure there wasn't a next time! She threw the door to the house open and closed it quickly, panting heavily and putting a hand against her chest. She'd never run so far before! But...but she couldn't just...she had to get away from him. And it was obvious she could easily outrun Leviathan on land. Guess she'd just stick to land from now on. A shame, water felt really cool and refreshing, especially during this hot summer and the fur she had on her lower body. Sigh. She walked straight to bed room, locking her door behind her and flopping down into her bed of scattered pillows and blankets. This was much nicer than a regular bed; she could hardly climb into those.

She looked down at the scale she held tightly in her hand, frowning and leaning into the wall of pillows she'd created against the wall. It really was a pretty scale. It matched her eyes, it shined in the light, there was a bit of gold that added to the overall shine. She'd found it on the ground...it...it wasn't Levi's at all. Tyyne frowned and stood up again; walking over to her dresser and grabbing a small brown wooden jewelry box she then walking back to her bedding, carefully sitting down and leaning to her side against the wall while putting the scale in the box. She'd find a use for it...it was a nice size; maybe she could make a hairpin with it? That'd be nice! Wear the pretty scale in her hair that matched her eyes and shined in the light. She actually giggled, combing her fingers through her hair a moment and smiling; she squealed and hugged the box. Wait, why was she hugging the box? Oh, right. Excited she got to wear the pretty scale that she found on the ground. Right. Right...? Her cheeks flushed and she put the box down beside her to rub at them, groaning with frustration. Nonono! No blushing! Wh-why was she blushing?! Gah!

She eventually gave up and sighed, awkwardly shifting her body so she was lying on her side and hugging a pillow tightly to her chest, staring at the box. That boy was crazy! She hoped she never saw Leviathan again. Never ever. Tyyne stared at the box a few more minutes before her gaze flickered to a nearby journal lying on the little table beside her nest. She reached for it, giving a strained groan as she stretched herself out as best as she could, finally able to nudge it over by tugging at it with the tips of her fingers. Finally it was in her hands, freeing the pen from the little elastic it was wrapped in to keep it with the book and flipping open to a new page.

Dear Diary,

I saw that boy again! And I wasn't even at the beach this time! I was in the middle of this really pretty forest, but I got thirsty so I went to this river that was nearby…and he was in it! I don't know why he was there or how long he was there but suddenly he was pouncing me and then I fell and I got stuck in the mud and...ugh. He's so mean! And still keeps calling me his Deer Princess. But I'm not a princess! Why won't he listen?! He even thought I missed him! I didn't miss him. I didn't miss him at all. And I still don't! He's a big jerk. Stupid Leviathan, trying to kidnap me and being all mean.

I made the dumb mistake of telling him I'd hurt him if he didn't let me go...so...he challenged me to a duel or something. But I'm not fit for fighting! Headbutting him hurt me! And to make matters worse he even told me how best I should attack him, it's not like he didn't know he could easily win without even trying. Just wish he hadn't rubbed it in. I...I found a pretty scale on the ground though and he let me keep it! Not that I needed his permission or anything since it wasn't his. I think I'll make a hairpin or something with it. It's the same color as my eyes! And it shines pretty in the light, and there's even a bit of gold on it. It's really nice! It'd look pretty in my hair, right? But that wasn't part of our agreement, if I won I got to go home but if I lost…he demanded a kiss! A KISS! I can't kiss him! Especially not my first kiss I don't want my first kiss to be because I lost it against a mean dragon that won't leave me alone! I lost because I slipped and fell on his tail, he decided it. That's not fair I totally won!

But...he was nice. He only kissed my forehead. I was actually surprised by that! He called me a brat and said he wanted a real kiss next time but I'm really happy he only kissed my forehead. I'm not giving him a kiss! Because there won't be a next time!

Tyyne pouted and closed the book, pushing it away and hugging her pillow again. Stupid Leviathan. There definitely wouldn't be a third meet-up with him.

The two hit it off, enjoying cupcakes (And burgers for Ryuusei) together.

Tyyne is a sweet little girl. Too Sweet. She has been mildly upset with Levi, but that doesn't quite count. Tyyne somehow becomes upset. Legitimately upset. Actually, downright angry. What happens, How does it happen, and How is it resolved?

YOU SUCK!
Y O U B I G J E R K

"Hey, Tyynebug!" Evari pushed open the sliding door and leaned against the doorway, watching her little sister wander around her garden taking care of the flowers. She'd been doing this every day for quite some time now; Tyyne would wake up, go outside to tend to her garden, and then she'd do other things. But the garden came first. She really loved her flowers. Tyyne's ears twitched and she blinked, looking up from a bush that she was watering to peer around it at her sister.

"Yes?" Tyynebug? That was a new one...it was better than Tyynebutt anyway. And Deerbutt. Though she did like Tyyney and Tin-Tin. Why couldn't Evari use one of the good names? The weird ones bothered her. Not that she would ever say anything. Heck, she was surprised she even told Enyo she disliked the nickname of 'princess'! But Leviathan called her that...that made it a bad name. Evari pushed off the doorframe and wandered into the garden, actually being careful not to step on or wreck anything. Man! She'd turned this stupid boring backyard into something really pretty! The glowing girl actually smiled, giving one of Tyyne's ears a tweak when she reached her. Tyyne squeaked and reflexively swatted at the offending hand, hugging the watering can to her chest.

"I'm going out. Want me to take you anywhere first?" It was kind of a new system they seemed to have developed; Evari would take Tyyne somewhere, and then they'd part ways and agree to meet up at a specific time. Sometimes Evari got...distracted a bit longer than intended though and left Tyyne waiting longer than she planned or long enough that she'd give up and just walk home by herself. This was another thing that...bothered Tyyne...but again, she would never say anything about it. Evari didn't mean anything malicious by these things anymore, right? In fact Evari always seemed very apologetic whenever she did it even if she was glowing brighter than a lightbulb when looking very sorry and hugging her over and over begging for forgiveness. Those days she always seemed so disheveled too..her makeup would be smudged despite her trying to fix it, her hair would be pulled from whatever hairstyle she'd put it up in earlier that day. Why did she look this way? Did...she get into fights or something? But then why would she be glowing so brightly? It didn't make sense. But she forgave her, she always forgave Evari. Tyyne scratched at her cheek and hummed thoughtfully. Did she want to go anywhere today? She supposed...maybe...yeah! She wanted to go to the park again! Maybe Ryuusei would be there! Or Enyo! She smiled and put down the watering can, nodding her head up toward her sister.

"Can I go to the park again?" Evari chuckled and nodded, walking through the house with Tyyne and leading her to the park. They agreed to meet at nine o'clock at the fountain. That gave Evari plenty of time to goof off! Evari had even promised she'd take Tyyne to see a movie after and get some ice cream. Needless to say, Tyyne was very excited about all this. Nothing could go wrong! It was so early, it was still morning! It gave Evari all day to mess around and still make it in time to meet Tyyne later!

...So then...why was Tyyne walking home by herself? Again?

Tyyne had waited. She'd waited so long, she'd waited a whole hour. It wasn't safe for a little girl to be wandering around at ten o'clock at night! She sniffled and whimpered, wiping at her eyes and hugging herself as a breeze blew through her. Gah! It was getting cold, she didn't think she'd need a jacket since she'd just be walking home with Evari and the walk would be faster. And...she wouldn't be as lost as she was right now. Getting lost wasted another two hours. It was midnight by the time she got home; she was tired, she was scared, she was...annoyed. Evari wasn't even home. Xai was though, and she'd fretted and hugged her and kissed her and made sure she was alright. The woman had made her her favorite meal, given her lots of attention and then sat with her until she fell asleep. But something was off about the small deer child, something wasn't right; she was quiet but in an odd way, her ears and little tail kept twitching, and annoyance was clearly written on her face. But she didn't say a single word. Not a one. Xai frowned as she slowly walked out of the room, not taking her eyes off Tyyne until the light was off and the door was closed. She was getting used to Evari staying out like this, but she'd been so worried when Tyyne hadn't come home. Was...was everything alright?

Once the door was closed one of Tyyne's eyes opened for a moment, but she didn't move. The eye closed again and she whimpered, hugging one of her pillows tightly as her shoulders shook from tears she was holding back. I-it wasn't fair! Evari had said! Evari had said nine would be just fine, and that it was a lot of time for her and she'd make it! She'd promised...she'd promised they could hang out! It was just going to be them! Evari would do whatever it was she did when she wasn't home, Tyyne would play at the park, and then they would get ice cream and see a movie. Together. It was...it was a promise. One of many plans Evari had fallen through on. It wasn't fair. What did she keep doing that made her forget about her own sister!? Tyyne sobbed quietly into her pillow, hugging it so tightly her fingers hurt.

The next morning Evari sighed as she quietly slipped through the front door, the heel of her hand against her head and her eyes closed. She groaned. ******** forgotten all about Tyyne. ********! What time was it now...it was noon? Tyyne would definitely be awake by now, that girl was awake with the sun! ********! Ugh, her head hurt. She kicked off her sneakers and wandered into the kitchen to get a glass of water, gasping and coming to a halt when she saw the blonde girl sitting in the kitchen munching on an apple. Tyyne's eyes were red and puffy, and she still looked upset, she also paused when she heard someone open the door and walk into the house. Xai was out with Mr. Donovan today, and she rarely forgot something so there was only one other person that could be unless someone was breaking into the house...in which case she actually was in the mood to chase them off! Hmph! Stupid Evari. Stupid...jerk breaking promises. The two girls just stood and stared at each other, one in clear annoyance and the other...knew she was in trouble. But come on...this was Tyyne. Tyyne never got mad. She was, like, calmer than the word calm. If you looked up nice in the dictionary? A picture of Tyyne would be smiling beside it.

...This...wasn't a nice looking Tyyne, however.

"Ah..h-hey, Tyyne. Have fun at the park?" Tyyne didn't answer, instead scowling and turning away to just eat her apple. Evari blinked. Okay, maybe that was a bad question to ask. She sighed and rubbed at her cheek, looking around awkwardly. This was weird. "So um, where's Xai at? She's not home? That's weird. Did she go get groceries or something?"

"She's on a date." Tyyne answered curtly, her hand shaking a little. Evari's voice was making her madder. She'd never felt like this before! Sh-she wanted to yell at her! She wanted to scream and throw a fit like Evari did the day she arrived! She was...she was...angry? Evari looked surprised by both the answer and the tone the answer was given in.

"A date? Seriously? With who? Xai doesn't go on da--"

"Sh-shut up!" Tyyne cried suddenly, squeezing the apple she was eating so hard juice dripped from it and down her wrist. Evari jumped, honestly surprised to hear her voice raised. Whoa. She'd never done that before. "Just...shut up! D-don't talk to me like you didn't d-do anything m-mean and s...s..STUPID!" She threw the apple on the floor and glared at Evari who was staring dumbstruck at her sister. Whoa, where was this coming from?

"You're so STUPID! A-and mean! And you always lie to me an--"

"Whoa, Tyyne...I'm so sorry! It was an accident! I swear I'll never--"

"You say that every time! EVERY time! 'I lost track of time!' 'I forgot!' 'I couldn't get out of what I was doing!' 'Tyyne you don't understand!' 'I won't do it again! I promise!' You always have an excuse! You always say you'll never do it again! Do you ever think about anyone but yourself?! If you really don't want me to be your sister that badly then...then I'll just leave! I'll take the hint! I'll get out of your house! You call me names, you ditch me, you would jump on my back and try to ride me like some stupid pony! You scared off someone I could've been friends with! And...and you're just a big b***h!" It got quiet after that, both girls shocked by Tyyne's words. Evari was speechless, her jaw dropped and her eyes wide as she leaned back against the wall behind her as if the words had pushed her back. Tyyne couldn't believe she said all that, she was especially shocked by...by her swearing! Where had that come from?! She felt..a little better...but she was still mad. Evari just didn't know what to say.

"T...Tyyne I--"

"Don't talk to me." Tyyne suddenly snapped at her, tears that had been threatening to form during her little tirade finally rolling down her cheeks. She hiccupped a bit and wiped at her face with her sticky arm, not even caring that she was getting apple juice in her hair and on her face anymore. "You're always so mean to me! What did I ever do to you?! You've been telling me to get out si-since the start! And I hadn't even done anything! I've always tried to be nice to you! Always! And what do I get? I get called mean, stupid names and left behind! I was so scared!" She sobbed, rubbing at her eyes with both her fists. Evari bit down on her lip, guilt stabbing at her heart as she pushed off the wall and slowly made her way across the kitchen closer to Tyyne. The deer girl's ears perked and she looked up when she heard footsteps, whimpering and skittering around the table away from her very dimly lit sister. "Don't touch me! I-I don't know where you've been! You always come home looking like that! You say your head hurts, you walk funny sometimes, your hair is a mess, you smell funny...even your makeup is messed up! You've got colors all over your cheeks! A-and some of them are, like, dark red! You weren't wearing red! If you'd rather hang out with someone else then fine! Just don't LIE to me! I just wanted you to like me! I-I was making that garden just for you bec-because you were so sad for awhile and I didn't like it! Because y-you're my sister and I love you! But you just seem to hate me no matter what I do! What did I ever to do you?! Why do you a-a-always do thi-this to me?!"

"You're...making that garden for me?" Evari asked quietly, unsure of what to do now. Tyyne was crying. She was crying a lot. But she wouldn't let Evari come near her! All of her words...well...no, not all of them, but a lot of them...they were true. But she didn't hate Tyyne! Not anymore. She was so thoughtful and caring and sweet...she didn't deserve this kind of treatment that Evari had been giving her. Not at all. Tyyne nodded, coughing and wiping at her face.

"Because I wanted to see you smile! Yo-y-you were acting all we-weird and s..sss-s-sad and mope..moping! I thought you l-liked it! I tho-thought you liked me! But I was WRONG!" Evari visibly flinched, wincing and hugging herself a bit. Even before Tyyne had started yelling she honestly did already feel bad. Even on her way home she was trying to think of a way to make this up to Tyyne. They didn't usually set a meet time so late...Evari was so stupid. Tyyne was right. But what could she say? What could she do? Tyyne wouldn't let her talk and she wouldn't let her near her!

"Look...Tyyne...I'm sor--"

"Shut up! Just stop--"

"I'M SORRY." Evari spoke over Tyyne, frowning. She wanted to talk damnit! She didn't want Tyyne upset anymore! This was just...this just wasn't Tyyne! "I know I ******** up a lot! I know! I...I don't need you reminding me..." She grumbled, sitting down on the floor where she had been standing. See? More level ground... "I don't hate you. I mean it...I'm just like you said...I'm a stupid b***h." Evari gave a short chuckle at that, rubbing at the back of her neck. "I don't want you mad at me. I swear. In fact, I...I don't even...really know what to say right now. I didn't think you of all people was capable of something like this. You're just too sweet~." Tyyne hiccoughed and whimpered, her ears hanging low and her legs buckling underneath her until she was suddenly sitting on the floor as well. She wanted to believe Evari...she really did...but she found it so hard to all of a sudden. She'd never been angry before! She was shaking, but not with fear for once. For once this was..rage? That was what this was, right? She was shaking all over, and the tears just wouldn't stop. Evari frowned, her fists clenching. This must've been how Xai felt whenever Evari would throw a fit. Ugh. This sucked. Tyyne wasn't paying attention to Evari anymore; she wasn't paying attention to anything anymore really. She was crying, she was shaking, she was angry, and she felt sick to her stomach. She didn't like feeling like this! It was awful! Evari took advantage of this to crawl over to her as quietly as possible, sitting down beside the girl and gently pulling her close in a hug. Tyyne flipped out a bit, crying louder and trying to push Evari away, but Evari wouldn't let go even when she was banged in the face with an antler. Ow. ********, those things really hurt! She didn't feel like she was bleeding or anything, and it just banged against the side of her face. Didn't hit anything vital like her eyeball. But something Evari would've loved more of during her tantrums was just a hug to calm her down and so she was going to hold onto Tyyne until she calmed down, pressing her face against the girl's hair between her antlers when Tyyne did finally stop struggling. She truly wanted Tyyne to forgive her; she never meant to hurt her with forgetting her like that. And if she didn't like the stupid names then...then she'd stop them! She pressed a kiss against her sister's temple, rubbing her back and closing her eyes. Tyyne's shoulders shook as she sobbed, clinging to the fabric of Evari's shirt and burying her face into Evari's chest and refusing to let her go. B-big jerk! Big...stupid...dumb jerk...! Evari sighed and began to gently sway side to side with her sister, holding her close and quietly singing a song into her ear. Tyyne hiccupped and sobbed quietly against her sister, but her ears did perk a little to listen to the song. S-stop being so nice you big...jerk!

"I love you, Tyyne. I mean it. I really do." Evari sang quietly, nuzzling her cheek against the top of her sister's head. Tyyne coughed a bit.

"I l-love you, t-too." She whimpered, her ears lowering again. She'd stopped crying (sort of), now she was just trying to calm down. Evari was a jerk. A big, mean, stupid jerk...but...but she was still her sister. And while she had her doubts that Evari really would stop doing the things that upset her she would at least give her one more chance. Just one more.

HEY WAIT A SECOND
I ' M B I G G E R?

It was a long day. Tyyne felt so drained after her episode with Evari that the glowing girl actually helped her up and through the house to her room, guiding her to her bed of blankets and pillows and draping one across her body for her. Tyyne thanked her quietly and settled herself in to sleep, promptly losing consciousness almost instantly. Evari chuckled and sat quietly with her for a few minutes, petting her hair and feeling complete and utter guilt for the way she'd been treating Tyyne before this. She'd have to make it up to her somehow...she...actually felt bad. She'd let this sweet girl down so much, and it'd hurt her to the point of making her do something just so completely out of character for her...that was unacceptable. She could never let that happen again. When it was clear Tyyne wasn't going to be waking up again anytime soon she left, collapsing into her own bed with a sigh. Xai came home much later in the night, unlike Evari who had and often did stay out all night and usually didn't come home until the next morning such as the night of this whole mess, kissing Donovan goodbye at the door and waving to him as he left. She leaned against the door for a moment and just watched him with a tilt of her head, sighing happily and giggling as she let herself into the house with a happy hum. Hehe! She loved dates with Donovan! They always put her in such a good mood. To think she'd almost cancelled because she was so worried Tyyne would get lonely and want her there, but the little deer girl had insisted it was alright for her to go anyway.

"I'm hoooome~." She sang out happily into the house, still feeling so excited. She'd probably be giddy for awhile yet! She received no answer. No cheerful or even half-hearted 'welcome home!' from Tyyne, no greeting from Evari...that...was odd. Were neither of them home? Xai blinked, taking off her coat and tossing it over the back of the couch as she passed it. She checked Evari's room first; the girl was asleep. Oh. Alright. Next she checked Tyyne's room, finding her asleep as well. She smiled softly and walked into the room, the lights dimming on just barely so it was bright enough for her to see where she was going while not waking little Tyyne. Xai sat down on the floor beside the deer girl, petting her hair gently.

...Hey...wait a second...something was...different. Tyyne's hair was longer, and her body just seemed bigger. Huh? That was strange! Xai gently pulled the blanket back enough to get a better look at her; Tyyne's shirt fit tighter than usual, she seemed slimmer and longer...larger. Her antlers had shrunk a bit, but other than that...

"Tyyne?" Xai said quietly, putting her hand on the girl's shoulder and giving her a gentle squeeze and shake. The blonde groaned and batted sleepily at whoever was shaking her before finally opening her eyes a little. Who...? Oh, it was Mommy.

"Hiii Mommy..." She mumbled sleepily, pushing herself up into what was more of a sitting position. Huh? Well, that was odd! She was seeing Xai at a different angle, and yet Xai was sitting in a way she always did. What was...why was she...? Tyyne rubbed at her eyes and looked down at herself, the lights glowing brighter as they registered all those inside the room were conscious and wouldn't be disturbed by bright lights. She looked...different! Her shirt certainly didn't fit anymore. What was that? Was that...it...it was! There was a slight curve to her! Even her chest looked a little bit different! Tyyne poked at herself a bit, unsure of what to do. Eventually she put her hands at her waist, gasping a little. It was..slightly narrower! There was some curve the lower down it went..wow! This was...wow! Tyyne cast a glance back behind her and ran a hand over her backside, tracing what few spots she had left. She had so many and now they were mostly gone...wow!

Tyyne's head felt lighter...? She reached a hand up to touch her antlers, gasping again. They were smaller! So now she'd get caught on fewer things above her head? That was great! Tyyne giggled with delight and hugged herself, completely forgetting Xai was there. Xai merely chuckled and leaned over to give Tyyne a hug, petting her hair and giving her a kiss on her cheek. Tyyne giggled again and moved her arms to adjust and hug Xai tightly, giving her a squeeze and squealing with delight. They held each other for what felt like hours (It was only minutes) before Tyyne finally let go and leaned back. This shirt was much too tight now. She needed something looser, something that would let her breathe. Something that fit. "Um...momma? May I borrow a shirt until we find one that fits me? This one's tight..." She'd live but...it was tight. Xai smiled and nodded.

"Of course, dear. I'll go find you one." Xai said as she moved to push herself up to her feet, walking out of the room to go find something Tyyne could wear. Tyyne watched her leave, waiting a few moments before she also stood up and wandered over to her mirror to actually see herself. Wow! Everything looked so different at this angle! And her hair..she had so much more of it now! Wow! She turned her head this way and that, admiring herself; it wasn't a vain sort of admiration, it was more amazement and wonder. All this in just...had it even been a whole night? No, it'd only been a few hours since she went to bed. This was incredible! She had to show someone! But who? Ryuusei? Oh, wait. She didn't know where Ryuusei would be...Enyo? No, she didn't know where Enyo lived. Who did she know that she'd be able to get to? ...Oh! Of course!

Xai returned with the t-shirt she'd 'stolen' from Donovan after their first date. It was slightly big on herself, so it should fit Tyyne just fine, though it wouldn't be what Tyyne was used to. "Momma! Momma! Can we go to Mr. Donovan's house? I want to see Vance!" Tyyne asked excitedly with wide eyes and perked ears, her hands clasped beneath her chin as she stared pleadingly at her mother. Even if she had to wait until the next day she really wanted to see Vance and show him what had happened to her! And it'd been far too long since she last saw him. Xai looked like she was about to agree when she suddenly paused and frowned, tapping at her lip for a moment. What...? Why did she look like that?

"Oh, sweetheart...I'm afraid we can't. Vance isn't allowed to see anyone, he got in trouble and so Donovan grounded him for a little while. But as soon as it's over you can go see him, of course! I don't see why you couldn't call tomorrow and ask Donovan when Vance will be free again..." Tyyne blinked. Grounded? What did that mean? Everyone was grounded unless they could fly...she didn't understand. But if it meant he couldn't see anyone then alright. If those were the rules. She sighed with disappointment and nodded her head. Xai frowned again. "I'm sorry, Tyyne...here...this should fit you. We'll go and get you new shirts tomorrow." Tyyne nodded again and took the shirt, folding it over her arm for a moment so she could struggle with her old shirt. It wasn't too hard to get off; it just was kind of hard to maneuver with a shirt that was too tight. At least it had a wide neckline. Eventually she switched from that shirt to the t-shirt, needing a little help from Xai to get it settled on her body right. This was...weird...but it didn't strangle her so it would do.

"Thank you, Momma. I didn't know you had shirts like this one...you look really tired~." Tyyne walked over to give her mother a hug which was happily returned. The alien bent down enough to give her own hug and place a gentle kiss between Tyyne's antlers. In truth she was very tired, exhausted even. Donovan always got her so excited but now that excitement was wearing off and she just wanted to sleep, but not without a little celebration with Tyyne. It was so nice to see her smiling again. "Good night, Momma!" She chirped, kissing her cheek and letting go of Xai. Xai smiled.

"Good night, my big girl~. We'll go out tomorrow and get you new shirts and things, alright?" Tyyne nodded, smiling as brightly as ever. She was so excited! It didn't feel too much different yet but gosh! This was really nice! Xai gave her a goodnight kiss against her temple and left the room, waving to Tyyne before the door closed. Tyyne giggled and waved back before walking over to her bedding, settling down with a happy sigh. This was nice. Very nice. She couldn't wait to show all her friends!
