Parks were safe. Parks were okay. There was a fountain but it wasn't connected to anything, and Tyyne had checked the entire fountain for any sign of him and seen nothing. No sparkling scales, no dragons leaping out of the water and at her, no Leviathan calling her his princess...okay. This was safe. She sighed and sat down beside the fountain, leaning against it and looking around. This fountain was nice, very calm and peaceful. Tyyne watched as a group of young girls hurried over to the other side of it and tossed coins into the water, giggling amongst each other about making wishes. This...was a wishing fountain? She pushed herself up to stand as the girls left, leaning over the edge to stare at her reflection. A fountain that granted...wishes?
Maybe she could wish for Leviathan to leave her alone! Oh, but Tyyne hadn't thought to bring change. She had money but no coins. Would regular money work? She frowned and looked around. Maybe if she asked to trade her money in for trade? You could do that, right?

Ryuusei, a rather tiny silver color dragon, was shuffling along the ground with a similar mindset about needing change to use at the fountain that was supposed to grant a person's wishes. He never carried money given his size, so he was checking the ground. What he'd learned was that people dropped things, a lot, so he was hoping that one of those things would be coins. He wanted to find a couple of them, one for himself and one for Mrrh. He hoped that the fountain would be able to tell him the secret behind what sort of present he could give to his friend who said he needed nothing and didn't want to grant any wishes after the first thing Ryuu had granted for him went horribly.
He was moving along in a manner that was pretty speedy given his tiny legs but he'd gotten used to them a while ago and knew how to use what he'd been given. He came to a skidding halt as he came around the fountain again and found himself starring at... hooves? The little dragon cocked his head to the side before slowly approaching as though worried that whatever was attached to the hooves would flee if he rushed forward. Once he got close to her, being as sneaky as one could be when they were both shiny and followed around by a cluster of rainbow stars, he lifted up on his back feet so he could better inspect the legs attached to the hooves.
This was neat! What was it? Where did it come from? It would seem that the search for loose change was going to have to wait while since his mind was now on something like what he'd never seen before.

Tyyne was about to look for someone to ask about getting change when suddenly she felt it. The staring. She was being stared at. Her eyes widened and she stood frozen still, her ears perked up high and not budging an inch. Something was staring at her...and...and it was by the fountain. She gasped. No...no it couldn't be! No! It wasn't...! Not here! Not now! Anyone but him! Maybe if she didn't look at him? He wasn't doing anything yet, so maybe that meant he was waiting for her to look at him. Acknowledge him. Be scared of him!
She refused to look behind her, not knowing that it was not even Leviathan staring at her. Nope. Not looking. Not moving. He did not exist!

Ryuu froze in place as well when he saw the way the furry legs tensed as the last thing he wanted to do was chase this creature off. He would feel bad if suddenly it was racing off because of him. He lifted one little hand to pat it against the creature's leg, "Its okay! I'm not gonna bite." He said in a gentle, child like voice. Maybe if he soothed her she would be less likely to race off he thought to himself. Last thing he really thought about was that petting the furry legs might get him stomped on since he'd never really run across anything dangerous aside from a big dog and some crows before.
"Ooo, soft! You feel kind of like Mrrh's cloak." He mused, though really the only difference that both were made of fur but his young mind didn't seem to really notice the differences between the two types of fur, just knew that both were soft.

Something touched her and she squeaked, flinching away from it with a tiny strangled cry of surprise and whirling around to tell Leviathan to go away. Wait...there was no one there. And that voice definitely wasn't Leviathan! It...it was cute! Tyyne blinked and looked around for her 'attacker', finally looking down when she heard the voice again. She felt like Mrrh's cloak? Who's Mrrh? More importantly who was this. Tyyne's jaw was dropped a bit, stepping back some as if cautious of this...tiny...snake...dragon thing? He had feet, he had to be a dragon. But weren't dragons bad?! Oh, wait. There were nice dragons. And he was so teeny! He was...cute!
Eventually Tyyne smiled, albeit nervously, and waved a few fingers at the tiny dragon thing. He was so tiny, as long as he didn't suddenly grow into some huge monster of a dragon she'd be okay! Right? She blinked a moment and watched him quietly...sparkles?! So pretty! "Um...hello!" Lame, Tyyne. Lame. But she wasn't sure what to say! He'd said he didn't bite so...okay, maybe it was true but...but he was still a dragon! A really adorable little dragon that seemed to have sparkles and stars floating around him...
Eeeeeeeee! She wanted to hug him! But she'd resist!

Ryuu blinked a couple times and looked up toward the deer's belly when it spoke, then shuffled backwards and pushed up off the ground so that he could get a better look at what he was dealing with... and realized it wasn't just a deer!
"Wha? Wow! Your only half deer!" He cried out, floating closer to her, and looked more then a little in awe as he looked her over. He'd never seen something so amazing as this half girl, half deer person! Oh and she had horns! He floated up to get a better look at her, seeming to completely miss the fact that he might be getting into her personal space since he didn't quite understand that concept. Up until now everyone had let him perch on them, carried him around, and otherwise let him get away with everything. Not that he was one to take advantage so much as he was oblivious to the fact that there was a such thing as personal space for people.
"Wow, wow! You have deer ears too!" He seemed far to excited as he perched on the girl's shoulder and lifted up to inspect her pretty, fluffy ears.

As it shuffled closer Tyyne inched back away from the strange little dragon. Sure, he was adorable but...but what if it was a trap?! Yeah! What if he was just a lure! Bait! Bait trying to trick her so she'd let her guard down and someone would swoop in and grab her! She gasped softly and froze in place as suddenly the little dragon was in the air and floating toward her, babbling incoherently and trying to move back. She knew it! Dragons flew! That meant Leviathan flew. No! Nonononono! That was bad, very bad! But the further the moved the more this little dragon seemed to follow her, giving up on trying to get away and just standing still with her ears pinned back against her hair.
Tyyne blinked and turned her eyes toward the little dragon when he sat on her shoulder, surprised by how light he was. He was so light! She smiled a little and flicked her ears, scratching at her cheek with one of her fingers and looking down at the ground. "Um, well yes...p-please be careful." She didn't know what he was going to do next but she felt the warning needed to be given just in case. Couldn't have him biting or pulling on her ears or something!

Ryuu gave a nod of his head, "Okay!" He chirped before he set to nuzzling against her ear finding that it was as soft as her legs. He then turned around on her shoulder to jump down from her shoulder to her furry, deer back and gave a giggle, "You are so neat!" His tail set to wagging so quickly that the end of his tail was nothing more then a blue blur behind him. He moved around across her as though taking in every detail of Tyyne's interesting build before shuffling back toward her human part.
"You are so soft! I just want to curl up on you for a nap!" He told her, his rainbow of stars gathering around him as he once more sat still again, while he was bouncing along it seemed as though the swarm of stars were trying their best to keep up with him.

Tyyne couldn't help but giggle as he nuzzled her ear, the nuzzled ear flicking and lightly bopping his head by accident. Not hard, just a gentle swat from the movement. When he jumped onto her back she jumped a little and turned as best as she could to watch him climb all around her like a strange little kitty. He was so cute! "Thank you." She replied to his compliment, a warm smile starting to spread across her lips. He was so nice! Such a cute dragon! Why wouldn't all dragons be nice and adorable like him?
"A nap? Um...if...if you'd like? My name is Tyyne." Might as well know the name of his, er, bed? Or something. She looked at the stars, curiously reaching her hand out to brush her fingers through them. The stars moved around and she gasped, her eyes wide and her ears perked as she did it again. Hehe! This was fun!

Ryuu rolled around on her warm, furry, deer back for a moment before he rolled to his feet and shuffled closer to the human part of her, "Oh! I am to excited to nap right now." He said, tail swishing. He would like to nap on her sometime since she was fuzzy and warm but at the moment he was to swept up in the fun that was inspecting the interesting girl and talking with her.
"Tyyne? Oooooh, that's a nice name. I'm Ryuusei!" He chirped, lifting up on his hind feet so that he could get a better watch on the girl that was poking at his stars, "Do you want one? They are magic!" He said, ever trying to hand out is stars because they were something that gave happiness to the ones that he gave them to due to what they could do.

That was so...cute! As he rolled around her back she couldn't help but giggle and squirm a bit, shifting from foot to foot. It kind of tickled! Hehe! It was a little obvious by now he wouldn't be napping anytime soon, which she was actually glad for because it meant she got to learn more about this super adorable little dragon. "Alright. What would you like to do instead, then?" It didn't seem he would be leaving anytime soon, which she was actually okay with considering he was cute and not terrifying, so maybe they could do something together! When he complimented her name she smiled proudly and giggled, bowing her head for a moment since she couldn't exactly give a bow.
"Thank you! My momma gave it to me. Ryuusei is a nice name too." He was so nice! Maybe not all dragons were mean. It was nice to have that kind of assurance, maybe...if...if there was a next time...he'd be nice to her? Maybe it was just bad timing. Or something. Probably not, but she'd like to be hopeful. She was still playing with the stars, watching as they gravitated back toward Ryuu every time she moved them around and giggling and doing it again, when Ryuu made his offer to let her have one. Wow! Really? Tyyne's eyes widened and she looked at the stars and then Ryuu. "Wow, really? I...I'd love one! What do they do?" Tyyne rubbed at her back a little, turning to her other side to look at him from that angle. This was kind of awkward! Darn her oddly shaped body! "They're so pretty~." Just call her the Great Dragon Collector? First Levi's scale, now one of Ryuu's stars?

He perked up a bit at her words and gave her a very curious look, "Oh? What is that like? Having a Mommy I mean." He'd met a few people with Daddies, a couple that had an Aunt only, one who didn't have parents the same as him, but he was sure that this was the first he'd met with just a Mommy which made him curious since he was always curious about parents and what they might be like.
Ryuusei seemed to be thinking on it before saying, "The stars are designed to make people happy!" He said, giving a happy smile. He wasn't able to say what they did, after all if he said 'I can grant you wishes' it was likely the skill could be taken advantage of. Not to mention the fact that he wouldn't even realize he was being taken advantage of since the thing that made him happiest was seeing other people happy.
If the dragon were able to blush he probably would have when she said that his stars were pretty. Instead he ducked his head shyly and smiled, "I'm glad you like it." He said, then lifted up his head and smiled at her once more.

"Um, a mommy? It's..." Er...how would she explain this? She'd never had to explain what having a mommy was like, no one had ever asked before. Maybe Ryuu didn't have a mommy? Huh...well...o-okay. She'd do her best to be as specific as possible! Or something. "She takes care of us a lot. And she cooks! She's not really too good at it but she's learning, she's good at learning. And when she learns something she doesn't forget! Ummm...she's really nice to talk to sometimes? She was really nice to me when my older sister got all mean and tried to make me leave. It's like having a daddy but she's a girl?" Would that do? Tyyne really didn't know how to explain what having a mommy was like. Pretty much all she could do was tell things that her mommy did, she hoped that would suffice.
When he told her what his stars did she blinked, plucking one gingerly in her fingers out of the gathering and looking down curiously at it. Wow, really? "How? Because they're pretty?" She asked with genuine curiosity, smiling brightly. Honestly, just being offered to have one was enough to make her happy! But did they do something else? That'd be cool! Tyyne giggled and slowly sat down beside the fountain, being careful not to jostle Ryuu and knock him off his balance or her back. "I do like it! Thank you, Ryuusei!"

Ryuu listened to what she was saying like it was story time before his little tail set to wagging rapidly behind him. That sounded nice! He wanted a Mommy that could cook for him! He worried though that if he said it out loud that he didn't appreciate the ones that did get him food so he didn't voice that particular though, "Mommies sound nice." He told her. Between Tyyne's explanation on Mommies and Vance's explanation on Daddies he felt some days that he was missing out on something important. He had his friends though, had Roxy and Mrrh, so that was close enough for him.
Ryuu tilted his head to the side before he nodded his head, that would work he thought to himself. Ryuu held onto the girl as she lowered herself down and hopped over to looking in the fountain, starring at all the change that was in it. He wasn't allowed to take the money out because it represented the wishes of other people. His attention turned from the water to Tyyne, "I'm glad that you like it and your very much welcome!" He was so curious as to what the half deer girl would ask for, everyone else he'd dealt with, their wishes varied greatly so it was going to be a surprise when he finally got to see what she wanted.

Tyyne nodded in agreement to Ryuu, smiling still. Her mommy was nice, she liked her mommy. So did this mean...Ryuu didn't have a mommy? Oh dear! That was so sad! But surely he had a daddy, right? It would be just awful if she learned Ryuu didn't have a home. The thing about the stars being pretty being the right answer seemed to please her for now, watching the little dragon hop off her back and peer into the fountain. Oh...did he want to make wishes in the fountain? So did she!
When he said he was glad she liked the star she giggled and looked down at it, tilting her head a little. "I do, that's very nice of you to give me one of your stars, Ryuusei. I wish Leviathan was as nice as you!" She giggled and sighed almost sadly. He was so mean, the only person aside from Evari who was ever mean to her. She wished so much that he'd be nice. Maybe if he was nicer it'd be easier to get along with him, because he did have that tiny glimmer of niceness at one point during that last time...maaaaan. Not fair.
