Status: Complete Amelia who had been watching Lucifel doodle her name and Lily's all over a piece of paper decided she wanted to write her name also. There was just one problem... she didn't know how to read or write. She only knew that Lucifel was doing those things because that is what her sister had said she was doing. So, Amelia did the next best thing, she doodled the head of a unicorn on the paper. "My name," she giggled as she pointed to the picture of the unicorn.
Lucifel glanced over to her sisters piece of paper and tried not to laugh. She could tell her sister was proud of her accomplishment even if it was wrong. "Not like that si..." she caught her her self before calling Amelia silly. "Like this," she said as she wrote out her sisters name on her own piece of paper. "A.M. E. L. I. A." As she wrote each letter she said it out loud.
"Okay," Amelia said confidently enough. What Lucifel had just done didn't look hard at all. Letters were just a bunch of connected lines. She took her crayon and writing it larger than Lucifel had she wrote out her name. "Still like my way better," she said as she looked at the letters.
"Then write your name and put a unicorn doodle next to it... Other wise someone might confuse you with some other unicorn," Lucifel grinned. "And, the last thing we want is to loose track of you." Which wasn't that hard to do with how quiet she was... unless of course she turned into a unicorn (so long as she wasn't with other unicorns).
"Okay," she said. Crayon still in hand she picked up her paper. She was tired of coloring and was going to go put her things away. "Thank you," she said as she got up and headed out of the living room.
"You're welcome," Lucifel chirped.
As Amelia put her crayons away she wondered what exactly those things were that she had written on the paper. She knew it was her name but that was about it. Her name didn't look anything like Lucifel's or Lily's... She could have gone back and gotten the answer from Lucifel but decided instead to go find Tori.
Tori wasn't all that hard to find when she was at home. She was either in her room sleeping or out at the stables just sitting. It was when she was out and about that she was nearly impossible to get a hold of, even with her having a cell phone.
As luck would have it... Tori was home but she was asleep. Amelia sat her paper by the pillow and with everything she had pulled herself up and into her sisters bed.
The moment Tori felt the bed move her eyes fluttered open. She yawned and stretched and muttered something about having to find a better hiding space in the main house for the key to her mini apartment. "Thank you for having the courtesy to not be a unicorn while on my bed," she said when she realized who was in her bed. She could only image what would become of her sheets if her sister had or did decide to s**t.
"Hooves are no good for this," Amelia said cheerfully. She smiled as she grabbed her paper and held it up for Tori. "What are these?" She was pointing to the A on the paper.
Tori sat up as she glanced over at the paper. "Those are letters," she grinned. "You use them to make words... like your name. How about I teach you the alphabet." She reached out and pulled Amelia closer.
Amelia settled against her sister and nodded her head but didn't talk for a second. She was trying her best to put things together. "So, the alphabet is what all the letters make... even if it isn't an actual word."
"Something like that," Tori giggled. "I'll even teach you how to speak with your hands if you'd like. It gives you more ways to communicate with people."
"Okay," Amelia smiled.
"A," and as Tori said it she made the letter with her hands. "B," and she repeated the same process.
Amelia was right behind Tori in ever action she made. She was almost as smart as Tori was when it came to picking up on things.
"and Z."
"That was pretty easy," Amelia giggled and did the entire alphabet by herself with her hands as she said the letters.
"Along with letters there are numbers," Tori mention this while Amelia was still fascinated by what she learned. She was sure that now was when Amelia would want to know more most.
"Numbers?"
"Yes. Like one, two, three," Tori smiled. "You use numbers to count things like years, and money."
"Oh, so that's how everyone knows how old I am and how much we have to pay when we buy new books."
"Yep," Tori giggled. "I'll teach you one to ten today and then we'll slowly work our way into bigger numbers. Eventually I'll show you what else you can do with your numbers. Lucifel can help you out a bit as well."
Amelia wasn't totally sure about this when her sister mentioned Lucifel. Sure her sister was smart but she was also all over the place. "She means well I guess," she finally said.
"She's got her own way of doing things... we all do."
Amelia nodded and then watched as Tori counted one to ten. "So, like this," she said as she held up one finger and said one. She continued until she got to ten. It was at about nine when her tummy started talking.
"You best go and eat breakfast," Tori grinned. "You've got it. Count frequently so you don't forget!"
"Okay," Amelia said as she climbed out of the bed. Completely forgetting her paper she headed to the door. It was breakfast time and she looking forward to counting her bits of apple.
Tori picked up the paper and smiled. She was wide awake now and decided she'd take a bath and get ready to start her day. She carefully tucked the paper into her drawer. She'd give it to her sister later.

Status: Complete Lucifel I've been so busy I haven't had any time to write in this silly book. My family has gotten bigger. Lot's bigger. It isn't just Tori, Enyo, and me anymore. Now there is Hannah, Harley, and Amelia. I think dad is going nuts having to deal with all of us girls. Because not only is there us but Lily and THING are over all the time!
I am so glad that Miss Deli works at the cafe and that Lily and THING get to come over EVERY day. Sometimes they stay the night. I am sad though that Lily didn't get to be home schooled like me. But it's okay because I make sure to go with whoever goes to pick her up and I get to see her right after her classes!
Before I forget... I got bigger! Lot's bigger! I am taller and my hair is longer. But that is about it. vI am still the same ol' me though... or so they say.
I am doing my bestest to slow down a little. But it is so hard to slow down! I like life and living it! Most of all I love my bestest friend LyLy!
We did have a bit of a disagreement on the room we share but in the end it all worked out. I don't think we will ever, ever be able to stay mad at each other for very long. At least I hope not.
Well I have to go do my chores and help find Amelia before supper time rolls around. Amelia spends about 80 percent of her time as a unicorn... she hangs out in the stables A LOT.
Don't know if I mentioned it before or not but we moved into a bigger house!

Status: Complete Vlad I don't think coming from a large family could have ever prepared me for my own. Maybe it is because I never pictured having kids... and it just being Keeta and me for the rest of our days.
But, now here we are with a house full of kids... all girls. Victoria, Lucifel, Enyo, Harley, Hannah, and Amelia. Aside from that it is kinda like we adopted a couple more as much as Lily and THING are here. I am no complaining in the slightest.
I am actually coming around to having a large family. What I am not coming around to is the lack of sex and the extreme amounts of temper tantrums. Heaven help me if we make it past diapers and dating... I am not sure I look forward to marriage. There isn't going to be any man good enough for our daughters...

Status: Complete At Lucifel's seat in the dinning room sat a crisp, brand new ten dollar bill. It had been placed there by Vlad. He'd told her that if she could sit there for a solid hour without getting up she could have it. For anyone else this was a piece of cake, but Lucifel...
She made a humph sound as she stared at it. She wanted to know why she couldn't have been left with crayons or something... Then it dawned on her. She grinned as she reached out of the napkin dispenser. It wasn't a toy but it was something to occupy her. Further more no one said that she couldn't play at her spot.
One by one she pulled the napkins from the holder. She had to super careful so that they didn't tear. As she pulled each one out she refolded it and put it in a stack. Once she'd pulled every napkin from the dispenser, folded it, and stacked it... she opened the dispenser. One by one she stacked them back into the dispenser.
That took her all of fifteen minutes. She sighed as she closed the dispenser back up. She wanted to get up so bad but there was that ten dollar bill. She could take LyLy to lunch with that money. She chewed on her lip as she rocked in her seat.
She grabbed hold of the napkin holder and looked at the shiny surface. This sparked her interest and thus led to her next activity. She made silly and weird faces. And, when that bored her she pretended that it was another person and did different voices and put on a play.
She groaned when she looked up at the clock and still have thirty minutes. She sunk in her chair. She really, really waned the ten dollars. Then she noticed something green out of the corner of her eye. Ooo, it was her hair. Her hair was long enough that she could do stuffs with it.
She took her hair down from its pigtails. She wound it around her fingers. Made mustaches with it. Twisted it into curls that only lasted for seconds. Braided it. Chewed on it. And, finally she put it back up. This turned out to be the biggest thing to pass the time by.
She only had five minutes left! Wow, she never knew hair could be so entertaining. She did her best to put it back into pig tails. She was sure it would be lop sided because she didn't have a mirror or brush.
With her last five minutes she played with the bill that she knew would be hers. Victory! She folded it. Smelled it. But, didn't lick it... because that was just ick. She thought of all the places she could take Lily to for lunch.
"Times up," Vlad said as he came back into the dinning area. He was pleasantly surprised to find her still sitting in her chair, and the dining room hadn't been destroyed. "It's yours," he smiled and ruffled her hair.
"Yip-E!" She lept from her chair, money still in hand. She spun around and hugged her dad tight. She'd barely gotten her thank you out before she was bolting out of the dinning room and off to who knew where...
'Well at least it lasted an hour,' Vlad thought to himself. He shook his head and laughed.

Status: Complete Lucifel sat in the yard staring at the flowers. She'd finished her school work and it was still fairly early. Lily wouldn't be done with school for at least another hour, hour and half. To say she was bored was putting it mildly.
She'd only just started staring the flowers. Just a few moments previous she'd been rolling around in the yard doing tumbles, flips, cartwheels an the like. She had only stopped to catch her breath.
She reach out and carefully touched the flower. She had blink because suddenly it was a clover she was touching. She just knew that it had been a flower. More than a little confused she with drew her hand. The clover remained. She wanted to know just where the flower had gone! Just bent the clover just enough to look under it... no flower. She humphed and crossed her arms. She had happened to like that flower.
To the right of her she noticed another flower that was very similar to the one she'd just touched. She reached out to touch it and nothing happened. She sighed. Okay now she thought she was going nuts.
She started thinking of Lily, clovers, lunch, and a few other things as she cradled the flower between her fingers. She didn't pluck it. She had to do a double take because there it was again... A flower turned clover. She just knew that is what it was.
She came from a clover... so maybe this was her special something. Tori was incredible with her violin and her other sisters had their strengths as well. Sure she had her luck and it worked when she touched people. She never thought it would be possible to share her luck!
She thought really, really hard about her luck and clovers as she touched another flower. This time it was instantaneous! She clapped and giggled. She was excited that it had really worked.
She plucked the three clovers and skipped towards the house. They would need water until she could give them to her LyLy.
