"Why do I have to go? Ever'one who's gonna be there's a girl!" Axel lamented from his place in Tish's arms. Behind her, a line of small girls walked, as neat as a row of ducklings, with their now-bigger sister Lissy bringing up the tail of the group, and making sure that Luvvie, Miri and Faiya behaved. Each little girl carried a sleeping bag with her - Luvvie's was pink with a princess crown, Miri's was purple with flowers, Faiya's was blue with swirls, and Lisette carried a gold one that was hers, along with a red and black one for Axel. The entire Jenkins family was heading to the song home for a nighttime visit.

"Tori~ Tori~! I'm gonna see my Tori!" Faiya sang, soon joined by her bird-footed sister, as though Luvvie didn't know any of the song children, she was entirely thrilled at getting to meet new friends.

"New friends, new friends! Faiya wikll see Tori and I'll get new friends!"

Alone out of the three toddler girls, Miri did not sing. Instead, the little masked girl just cuddled her sleeping bag and walked along; she was nearly as reluctant to make this trip as her little brother, though her reasons were vastly different - Axel didn't want to go because there were so many girls; Miri was simply shy, and afraid that she would be scary, or be scared. She wasn't as optimistic as her sisters, so she fell back into the line a bit and grabbed Lissy's hand for security. "Lissy, I'm scared," she said, and got her hand squeezed and a reassuring smile in return.

"It will be all right, Miri. They'll be nice, you'll see," Lissy said.

Before the not-so-small family realized it, they were at the Song house, and Tish shushed a still-protesting Axel up to the gate. "Well, we're here," she said, looking over all of her children. "I expect everyone to be on their best behavior. Faiya, that means you keep your clothes on, Luvvie, no making people play dress-up if they don't want to; Axel, no setting anything on fire. Miri, please don't go asking if you can have any pets they might have, Lissy, do try to be a little bit social." Tish sighed and rubbed at the bridge of her nose. Sometimes she thought she must be a little insane to have so many children...

Tish waved to Tori, and shushed Axel before he could complain more about going to a house full of girls. The brunette smiled and introduced al of her children, one by one. "The little guy in my arms is Axel -" she was interrupted by a quickly shouted "And I dun wanna be wi' all these GIRLS!" before she shushed him again and continued on. "The littlest blonde there is Lissy..."

Said little gir dropped into a clumsy curtsy, and beamed up at Tori with an overly-bright smile. "Do you have dress-up clothes?" she asked excitedly, then fell silent as her mother gave her a 'hush now' look.

"You know Faiya already," Tish continued, and winced when Faiya darted to the door and wrapped her arms around "her" Tori, babbling happily about being glad to see her and how exciting this was going to be and other such things. "The one in the mask is Miri, she's rather shy, but she'll be alright, and then in the back is Lisette, my... well oldest at the moment, though I'm not sure how you'd figure such things with this lot."

"Nice to meet you," Lisette said, dropping in a full curtsy, her delicate wings fluttering softly behind her. "Please, call me Lissy."

"You're still girls," Axel said, determined to be belligerent about it. The tiny redhead continued to sulk in his mother's arms, at least until Tish put him down on the floor with a stern warning -again- not to try and set anything on fire. The infant gave Tish a scowl and promptly took a seat in an out-of-the-way spot where he could watch the animals that were known as "girls".

Luvenia's eyes widened and she clapped her hands excitedly, her wings flapping as well while she bounced up and down on her bird-feet. "Oh, yay, dressup! With new pretty clothes! Ooooh, this will be so much fun! XELLY! You HAVE to play with me!" she yelled, and ran over to her brother, trying to tug him to his feet so that he could come play with her. "Miss Tori has lots of pretty dresses, come on! You can play too!"

Axel yelped, getting to his feet and backing away from his oldersister. "I dun WANT to play dressup! Tha's a GIRL'S game!" The tiny boy shot a desperate, pleading look to anyone in the room who might take pity on him and save him from his bossy, girly older sister.

Miri jumped, startled a bit as she was addressed by a little girl she didn't know. Taking a step back and hiding herself behind Lissy's skirt, she offered a little wave and a soft, "H'llo," to her greeter.
