Lucifel, the child that could say a million words a minute, had barely gotten out 'meet me at the beach' before hanging up the phone. It was seconds later she was running out of the kitchen, past the dining room, past the living room, and straight on into her bedroom. In the process of 'ripping' her clothes off she had slammed the door shut. Seconds later she was hopping on one foot as she did her best to get into her new bathing suit. Practically tearing the door down as she flung it open she made a mental note to clam down a bit next time. Ripping the towel off the bathroom rack she ran out of the house with a holler of 'Be back later! Lily! Beach! Bye!'. She didn't ask Tori to escort her because she could get there on her own and would be supervised once she got there.

Lily was a lot less hasty in her dressing and preparations. Once she'd gotten the call from her master of all masters - a joking title she would occasionally call her best friend mentally - the girl had wandered off to try on her bathing suit. THING!, which had arrived sometime shortly before or after Lily's growth, was presently seated on the couch, watching as its elder sibling got ready to go.
For Lily, getting ready to go to the pool consisted mostly of changing out of her dress, putting on her bathing suit - which was much less struggle as her mother had convinced her that a two-piece might be better - and put on a small coat and a pair of flipflops. She was going to the beach and still wanted to be modest, after all, even if she was young enough to get away with just wearing her suit.
"Thing, why don't you go wait by the door for Lucifel, okay?" she suggested, patting the antlered head. The white creature nodded, going to watch for its sister's best friend. After all, Lily wanted time to talk calmly to Delucca and say where she'd be, rather than just shouting where she was going and with who as she ran out the door. That'd just be silly.

Lucifel's knock was more like a pound, but it was due to excitement. She was bouncing from one foot to the other as she waited impatiently. She was very very excited about going to the beach with Lily. She hadn't seen her friend in at least a week!

The door was opened, not by Lily, but by her toddler sibling. The yellow eyed, odd smile faced THING! greeted the green haired girl with a small wave. "Lily's talking to mommy." it greeted, voice bland and eerie, but still oddly cute.
"Do you want to come in and wait or just wait for her here?" Thing asked after a few moments. It was polite, after all.

"If I wait here it will let the bugs in and the ac out," Lucifel giggled. "So, in please!" She was all giddy and a chirp was in her voice.
"Nothings wrong with Lilly...?" It was something between a statement and a question but in any case it was slightly more serious in tone.

"No, I could close the door." Thing pointed out but stepped out of the way to let Lucifel in just the same. Strange excited creature that girl was.
Thing nodded its agreement, "No, nothing. She's telling mommy where you're going." the tot stated as if that were the most normal thing in the world - which it actually was.
After a short while, the blue haired girl came out to the main room, grinning at Lucifel. "Hey Felfel. Mom gave me a few dollars so we can get lunch at the beach."

She ran over to Lily the moment she saw her and hugged her tight. "My LyLy," she said before even registered what her bestest friend was saying. "Awesome! My dad says I am big enough to do chores... as soon as I do a few of those I get dollars! We can go now?" She asked as she peeled her gaze from Lily and looked back over at THING. She giggled. She could wait on asking about if that was previously the stuffed toy they loved so much.

"Well then I guess I'm buying us lunch." the blue haired girl laughed, following her friend out the door. "Bye THING!, be good for Mommy." she told the critter as it followed them to the door to lock it after they left. Lily had her key, after all.
"So, to the beach then?"

"Thank you! But, next time lunch be on me!" Lucifel giggled and wrapped her arm around her bestest friends waist. "Yep to the beach! You so pretty and taller now!" She'd almost forgotten to compliment Lily. It hadn't been that long since she'd last seen her but something was surely different... then again something was with her to.

Lily rolled her eyes, "Oh Fel, you always say that." she laughed, reaching out to jokingly tug on her friend's pigtail. The other girl could be such a goof some days.

Lucifel who cared a bag much like Tori's tossed it onto the sandy beach just in front of them. "I've got it all... the sun screen, towel, toys..." she rambled a few more things as she unpacked it. She was so excited that she was lost in her own world at the moment. She had her LyLy and her toys and that was all she needed to have a good time.

Lily rolled her eyes, pulling her hair down from the pigtails it'd been up in. The blue mass cascaded sleekly down her shoulders and added a neat look to her skin. Next she tossed her coat down on the blanket and took off her shoes. "Well, I'm ready. Want to go swimming first or something else?"

Lucifel wiggled out of the button up shirt she'd thrown over her swimsuit. It was miss buttoned, a sign of how quick she'd dressed. "Swimming!" She squealed. That sound like a super lot of fun and even more fun since it was with her LyLy. She took her best friends hand and dashed off to the water loosing her shoes along the way... pig tails flying behind her.

Lily carefully marked in her mind the location of her friend's shoes as they ran towards the water, the girl slowing a bit as they reached it. The blue haired girl was still dragged in, just the same, and shuddered a bit as the cold washed over her legs.
"Brrr..." she laughed a little, hugging her arms a bit and trying to move a bit to get used to the feeling. "How are you not cold, Fel?"
